Turns out the VP of finance isn’t an old boring guy with white hair.
Two different cities.
A baby on the way.
An intense attraction.
And he’s technically my boss.
Life just got even more complicated.

Natasha’s unbelievably sexy night with a gorgeous hottie has left her with unintended consequences. The permanent kind of consequences. Unfortunately, she’s not heard from him so she’s left to deal with those consequences on her own. Until she walks into her office and sees Mr. One Night himself. That he’s the new VP puts a slight crimp in plans she may have had regarding her ONS and his participation with their unintended consequences.
Whoah! I freakin’ love That Night!!! Why you ask? Well for a few reasons, but #1 being Natasha. She’s the kind of heroine I love most – smart, funny, sassy and independent, and with a big heart, oh and the patience of a saint. But I love Richard too even though he behaved like an oblivious male one too many times. When he wasn’t being a typical idiot, he was sweet and funny and down and dirty, just my kind of guy. That Night is the perfect kind of romance – super sexy, and more importantly, emotionally rich, and entertaining with two lovable characters.
Natasha never takes risks. She arrives at a major party with her best friend and meets the man of her dreams after he spills a drink on her. To ignore the sparks igniting would be crazy.
Richard did not mean to spill a drink. He wouldn’t change a thing, since he met the woman he never thought he would. The “One.” Now he just has to convince her to let him be a part of her life.
Such a sweet and yet sexy book. These characters know what they want from page one and it is hot hot hot! The lessons to learn here are how to move on from the crazy night. I love the sincerity and friendships this story holds. I also liked the determination. What really rich characters. I could not put it down.

That Night by KI Lynn is a deliciously tempting read. It’s a one night stand/ pregnant from the one night stand/ insta chemistry/ pregnant from a person from work (without giving anything more specific away). Richard and Natasha were just great characters who had insanely hot chemistry together. They both had obstacles to overcome; one person more so than the other. At times , I did feel like the story became rushed in certain spots, especially toward the end. But there is something about this story that will make you sit down, lay back and delve into this story and get into the story. Richard and Natasha’s story has feels that will have you rooting for them… Ms. Lynn wrote a great read with fantastic main characters & awesome secondary characters.
My Rating: 4.4 stars *********
In the market for a great Contemporary Romance? That Night is your book! K.I. delivers the funny and the sexy with this one.
Guys. I highly recommend this one. Such a fun and entertaining read.
Don’t start this book at midnight! I couldn’t put it down once I started it!! Talk about a swoon worthy couple! You won’t regret starting this book; unless you start it before bed and need to be up early the next morning!
This was a good surprise pregnancy story, it only took me a few hours to read. Richard and Natasha were definitely super hot and cute together, even though they had a few bumps along the way because Richard is married to his job. There are some really great secondary characters, I really liked her bestie and how supportive she was. What more can I say, I liked it!
Nat and Brady where very sweet and intense in their story. I thought it would have been one those stories that they would hate each other. It least from a miss understanding, but it turned out be a great love story.
What a captivating story!!! Natasha and Richard’s story is one of insta love with a night of passion and scorching chemistry between the characters. This office romance story is so entertaining to read. I honestly volunteered to review this arc.
That Night – this book captures my attention from the beginning. The main characters, Richard and Natasha, were honest with themselves and what their hearts wanted but did not always act upon it. There was incredible chemistry between them. And I like how it was written, it’s not filled with too much of anything — everything was just right. You will fall in love with this story. It was a light and entertaining read which I could not put down. If you have a chance to read this book, I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.
Another 5 star read that had me hooked. The instant connection between Richard & Natasha is off the charts. This book will definitely give you all the feels. I love everything about Natasha & Richards story even the up and downs and there ended was perfect. I’m hoping that Keenan will get his own story. Phenomenal read that everyone must one click.
Okay it is known that I love anything this girl writes. I mean how can you not. But this one. This was the first of her books that the description didn’t immediately suck me in. I started slow because I wasn’t sure but after that first part I was hooked not on the story but on the main character Natasha. She wasn’t weak! She wasn’t some silly girl! She had flaws, she had spunk and most importantly she had a brain. She didn’t just fall instantly at the guys feet begging him to take her away from life. I loved that! The fact that she refused to just give up her life for a relationship too also made my day. But what made me fall even more for her was the point towards the end of the book where she took a stand to protect herself. When she did that I instantly wanted more story from this character. Sadly this is a book that does conclude so wonderfully but in a way that does shut the door for any future sequel. Which is fine because it just means I’ll be reading this over & over when I have a free moment.
In regards to the male lead in this I want to love Richard. I really do and for the first half of the book I truly did! But then he does something most moronic men do when in a relationship they weren’t ready for, and I was instantly wanting to fly into my phone and shake him silly. He’s a good character full of flaws & issues which is nice to see. He makes dumb decisions based on experience and it leads him down paths that will make you want to hit him. But it’s all worth it in the end.
If you’re looking for a quick read but something that will stick with you look no further. This is very much worth the over 2 hours in length that it is and very much worth your time. It’s also nice to have another new story from K.I.Lynn.
**3.5 to 4 Stars**
There were parts of this story that I really liked…like hello, I always love a surprise pregnancy story, but there were parts of the story that I felt like really could have used more development. I overall really enjoyed the main characters and felt like they had a good connection, but I felt like there were parts of their relationship that really needed to be explored more and developed further also.
I think at times the story seemed a little all over the place, impacting the overall flow of the story, and I think that while Richard took steps to rectify his shortcomings and the flaws that led to the difficulties in his relationship with Natasha, it seemed like the ending came really quickly and she forgave him awfully fast and it seemed like their should have been maybe a little more lead up to that in my opinion.
I think the overall story line had a lot of promise, but the execution fell a little flat for me. Overall, not my favorite of K.I. Lynn’s books, but I have loved everything of hers that I have read before, so I will continue to read her work in the future and think that maybe this one just wasn’t for me.
Ah, but how K.I. Lynn satisfies my need for the sort of read that doesn’t skimp on heat or heart and always gives a well-developed story with the most interesting of characters. I adored Natasha! This is a woman who knows what she wants and goes after it. She’s like the complete package, but that doesn’t mean she’s perfect. She makes her share of missteps, but nothing is done with malice. She was exactly who Richard needed in his life, if only he would trust in what they had. And Richard was, well, a man with issues. He was a workaholic many times over and he knows all too well what it’s like to be betrayed, not just once but twice! So yeah, you can imagine the roadblocks that these two were going to have to face. Admittedly, there were a number of times that I wish I could give Richard a good talking to and make him see that he was going to wreak havoc on his relationship with Natasha, but hey, all that conflict is part of the story, right, and I loved it to bits. I’m giving That Night five stars out of five stars.
Despite practically being an insta love story, which isn’t a favourite of mine this book was an
easy 5 Star for me.
Richard although a man with solid walls around his heart and has major trust issues caused by his past was definitely a keeper! He was funny, quirky, hot, sexy.. trust me he was the Full Package!
Natasha, omg that woman, I loved her! She was smart, motivated, sassy and definitely no pushover!
So without any spoilers (because you just need to dive in!!)…..
Right from the start The heat, lust and Chemistry between the two was flame throwing out of the pages. Both are knocked sideways by their feelings after a New Years Eve one night stand, but new years day arrives all too quickly and they go their separate ways. Natasha is disappointed when he doesn’t contact her again even though she gave him her fone number.
Move on a few weeks and Natasha discovers she’s pregnant, starts a new job and finds out her mystery man is her boss!
I love how this author gave us this couple, although their connection was instant as was my love for them, their path to their ultimate HEA wasn’t a smooth path and i was hooked to every page. You just never knew what was going to come next nor where your emotions would be, from tears to laughter, from swooning to wanting to slap them. A thoroughly light angsty yet emotionally charged captivating read that i didn’t want to end.

KI Lynn brings a sweet and sexy story that I fell in love with from just reading the blurb. Natasha and Richard have that instant chemistry that everyone hopes to find. Learning she’s pregnant by her fabulous New Year’s Eve one night stand and wondering how in the heck she was going to find him to tell him, has Natasha worried. That is until she walks into a meeting and finds the sexy man sitting at the table and is none other than technically her boss. Richard is all in and totally sweet and there for Natasha, until things get real and feelings he swore to never have again come to the forefront. Married to his job and using it as an excuse made me want to throat punch him, but I loved that Natasha stood up for herself and their baby. Great read and Lynn’s writing is as always, impeccable.

This is the story of Natasha and Richard. Oh poor Natasha!!! I would freak out if I had had a one night stand and then found out I was pregnant I would be freaking out!!! Not Natasha. She took it fairly well but however it didn’t take long for her to see the guy again when she finds out that he is her boss. I loved these two characters and I loved how they had this instant connection. I also just wanna say that Natasha has a huge heart and is a saint. I would have smacked Richard a time or twenty but that is part of the guys charm. He can make you mad and then turn around and have you right back to loving him again. I loved this book. It is a instalove story but it really held my attention and I didn’t put it down until I was finished.
This is the first book I have read from this author and I’m looking forward to reading more.
A fabulous quick read and I loved the storyline and instant attraction between Natasha and Richard. A must read!
The secondary characters were also great and I’m secretly hoping for Keenan’s story?!
That Night is such a fun and hot read. I loved every moment of this one and couldn’t put it down. You will just fall in love with Richard and Natasha. From the very beginning you feel this chemistry that is off the charts hot that only seems to grow as That Night goes on. If you love office romance, surprise baby romances then you will love this one as much as I did. Natasha is just amazing you will love how she puts her foot down just so with Richard. Richard the workaholic with his walls up. You will love slowly they fall and build when it comes to Natasha and his past. I really love Natasha and Richard together. They will put a smile on your face. Go one click this one today.
I want to say I didn’t have a hard time with this read but unfortunately I did. I loved the first part when they met on New Year’s Eve and I honestly loved this couple. I just had a hard time with the slow movement of this story. I think in part, though, that is because it felt so real to me. This could have happened to any couple. Richard could have been any man and Natasha could have been any woman. This couple showed us how the struggle going through something so unexpected can be on people, whether you are falling in love at the same time or not. And that is why I loved this story so much. Long distance is never easy. The distance plays with your emotions. Communication is key. That is one things these two lacked until it was almost to late. But in the ends. Heads were pulled out of clouds, eyes were opened, and happiness officially started. These two proved that even hardship can end in happily ever (though never perfect) after. *I voluntarily read an advanced copy of this book for my honest and unbiased review.*
