This is a steamy older man/younger woman Thanksgiving romance between Lexi and Flynn. The author brings a well written book filled with drama and a hot chemistry. She brings it to life with her detailed scenes and had me hooked from start to finish reading. Another great read by Flora Ferrari.
I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book. All opinions in this review are my own and freely given.
This wasn’t a favorite of mine but it was still pretty good. It was definitely longer than it needed to be plus they were very immature for a 40 year old man. It has a good ending though.

I gotta say, that this story was sweeter than Lexi’s pecan pie – which, by the way, I want some of now. Lexi and her dad, Eddie, are going to Eddie’s best friend’s house for Thanksgiving. Flynn, the best friend, is expecting them. What he – nor Lexi – do not expect, is the punch in the gut of the extreme attraction at first sight. Seriously, eat some pecan pie then read this book. You’ll find this book is much sweeter.

I really enjoyed Lexi and Flynn’s story I just love a good older man/younger woman romance and this is one smoking hot read I could not get enough and read it in one sitting. This was a pretty sweet read with great characters I would recommend it.
The power of pecan pie! And #sorry, plenty of spoilers!
WOW! That. Was. HOT!!! From the very start, it was very steamy… seriously so!!!
This is my first read of Flora’s, and I will certainly be going back for more! She had me hooked from the very first page! Initially I thought Flynn came off a little strong and overly-aggressive… but… no… it was just him… and her! They were both as hot for each other… as the other!
Anyway… Lexi and her Dad Eddie went to stay with his best friend Flynn for Thanksgiving, after a divorce. There was an INSTANT attraction… like CRAZY CHEMISTRY! She was a shy and innocent college student, and he was an actor, twice her age. But that didn’t seem to matter. He loved that she was ambitious and dedicated to her true passions (NOT what she was studying), and she truly appreciated his qualities – strong, handsome, mature, smart and successful. They CRAVED each other! And like she said… the heart wants what the heart wants!
When they got ‘caught’ by Eddie, I actually covered my own mouth, mumbling, “Oh f#@*!” I couldn’t believe it! And I thought it would be the end of them for sure. But no… it caused an instant riff between them, and Eddie left, choosing not to see or speak to them for a very long time! In the meantime, Flynn proposed unexpectedly, and Lexi said yes!
Before the nuptials, they reunited and made up (awww), warming my heart 😉 All was good in their worlds finally. The wedding was perfect, with beautiful vows, and a surprise announcement at the reception!
And thank goodness for the extended epilogue, to let me know how things turned out afterwards! And that group hug!? M.E.L.T.E.D. M.Y .H.E.A.R.T! But… now Flora… I NEED MORE!
I’m already looking forward to reading more of this author’s work, and I would definitely recommend this one!
