A football player, a secret crush, and the Hail Mary text that would change everything…
Avery had no idea who the mystery text came from, but she owed them a thank you. Because of their message, she showed up at a party for the football team and caught her boyfriend cheating. But the messages don’t stop there. Whoever the person she nicknamed Titan truly was, they offered her support and … nicknamed Titan truly was, they offered her support and friendship when Avery needed it most. Now, she finds herself longing to meet her hero face-to-face.
Denver isn’t sure if Avery even remembers the kiss they shared freshman year, but he’s thought about it every day since. As much as he wanted to be with her, family obligations pulled him away. It was torture watching her date another member of his football team, yet he never would have intervened if they were happy. One thing he wouldn’t do was stand back and watch as his buddy cheats on her time and again. When it’s revealed that he is her mysterious Titan, Denver prays it will be the beginning of his second chance.
But his family responsibilities haven’t lessened. And her trust in football players has been destroyed. Can the pair score a touchdown into their happily-ever-after under the scrutiny of the stadium lights?

As always there is a satisfying Happy Ever After.

This was a fun read for me because I love books that the main characters communicate through texts, emails, etc. it allows them to be themselves and provides the readers with fun and witty banter.Denver is this amazing guy who plays football and for years he has been pining away for Avery but their chance of being together was ruined and the timing was off. As he has sit back and watched her from afar her boyfriend is charting on her and using her and of course he’s a football player too. The fact that Avery has tolerated her now ex for so long she shows away from football players but once she starts texting with Titan aka Denver she sees not all of them are the same. The bond through texts strengthen her belief that good guys do exist and when she finds out who Titan really is she happy. These two were perfect for each other and Denver stole my heart from the beginning.
Denver and Avery! I love a college romance story! Second chance stories not so much and when it comes to sports, I haven’t decided yet but I enjoyed this book for sure!
Wow, what can I say. Excellent book. Highly recommend this book to everyone. Excellent story line kept your interest and attention making it hard to put down. Loved it.

I LOVED this book! It kept me on my toes and I finished it in 2 days. I would definitely recommend this book!
I love that their chance meeting was from a dare! A phenomenal story that will move you! The only problem! The book is so amazing you never want it to end! Read it! You will not be disappointed! I voluntarily reviewed an advanced copy of this book.
This was a fantastic story! I loved Titan & Avery! They have some things to get over, some hurdles to jump, but those hurdles don’t really take away from the sweetness of their relationship.
Warning for those who this will bother: The book itself could have benefited from a good proofreading, however. Missing words, wrong words, punctuation issues, etc. There were enough issues that I started treating it like one of my proof reads just so I could fix it.
If you can get past those issues, I still recommend this story, because the story itself, the characters, the way their relationship progresses – I really enjoyed ALL of that! There’s also a little side story involving Titan’s mom that I really liked.
: )
What a phenomenal fun read.
Denver is a loving caring man who has two goals to protect his mom and play for the Tennessee Titans until he meets Avery.
Avery a sweet woman who knows what she wants until someone lies to her.
This is a easy fun read. I couldn’t put it down and finished it in one day.
Miss Rose is such a fantastic writer I can’t seem to get enough of her books.
This is a must read.
Avery is smart, kind and giving, Denver is sweet with a big heart. Their journey will take you on roads that will lead to hurt betrayal, cheating with the twit of kindness and caring to end up on the road that lead to a HEA. This story just warmed my heart and I did not want to put it down till I was finished with the last page. Avery and Denver have a great chemistry that will pull you in.
Just an amazing read.

Texting Titan is a delightful second chance romance with fascinating, believable characters that added humor, friendship and love to the story. Avery and Denver met at a freshman party when Denver, on a dare, gave Avery the best kiss of her life. He felt the immediate sizzle, but was called away when all he wanted to do was keep kissing Avery. Denver’s mother has a stalker and, try as he may, he can’t seem to keep her safe. Making sure that no harm can come to her is his first priority. While on the phone, his friend and fellow football player, Kyle, stepped in and lied to Avery that Denver was probably talking to another girl. From that point on, Avery and Kyle started dating. But Denver never forgot her and, when he saw that Kyle was cheating on her, he had to do something for her. He started texting and telling her that he was a friend. Going by the name Titan, Denver was worried about what Avery would think about the fact that he was a football player. She, for good reason, doesn’t trust football players and wants nothing to do with another one. After a short time of frequent and sweet texts, he decides it’s time to reveal himself. Avery is so pleased to find that it’s her first kiss at her first party! The truth comes out about the lie Kyle told and her trust in Denver grows. They are a wonderful couple and know how to value the most important things in life. The times spent with his mother, Avery’s neighbors and her parents were truly touching. Kyle isn’t the only “bad guy” in the story and, when Kyle’s loser father tries to extort money from him at Thanksgiving, it becomes obvious that he’s going to be a thorn in his side. Adding some angst to the story, Denver gets a call that his mother is in danger and leaves Avery as she waits for him to go to Valentine’s dinner without so much as even telling her his mom needed him. It was a disappointment because it was so out of character for Denver, especially when he doesn’t call or text her for days. I started to think that he doesn’t deserve her if he can’t be honest, but Avery accepted his story and, eventually, opened her heart. The ending was sweet and the twist at the end, even sweeter.
The narration is beautifully done with a clear and dynamic voice, creating individual characters with realistic, believable personalities.
This is the first book of Kaci Rose and after reading this book I need more. I devoured this book in less then a day, the story line had me hooked. I honestly couldn’t put it down. It’s been a while since I have fallen in love with both characters so early in a book and just wanted more. This is a sports romance with a twist.
When they meet at a bonfire during freshmen year and Denver is dared to kiss Avery there is an instant attraction, Denver goes to answer a phone call and swoops in another player from his team and gives her lies which alters everything. Years later she’s with the douche (yes I’m calling him that) who lied and Denver has had to witness him cheating on her when he had really strong feelings for Avery and wants her for himself.
What happens when Denver steals her phone number from her current boyfriend and starts a deep and funny chat between the two Because of his committment to the team he doesn’t say anything but let’s her see who she’s dating.
Revelations are made and Avery tries to figure out who her knight is. This book had me glued from the moment I opened to the first page. It has all the feels you need and I could read this book over and over again because it was that good. I loved how quick their relationship blossomed and how they fit so well. I’m stuck for words but I hope this edit will make you go read it because you need this book.
This is my favourite sports romance so far and I have read a few. I swooned, I laughed, swooned again, I fanned myself a lot, I cried and i was left content with the massive smile on my face. Denver isn’t your typical jock, he is sweet, an alpha that doesn’t let go of the idea of having Avery as the woman that would make his life complete and does everything for her to see what she means to him.

I don’t normally read books with such young people in it but this one sounded very intriguing. I did enjoy this story. It was written in my favorite dual POV format so it was easy to connect to the characters. I was worried about liking the characters as a few books that I have read with characters of this age are more childish and selfish. Not here both characters are wonderful.
Avery and Denver meet in their freshman year of college. He walks up to her and says that he was given a dare; the dare, to give her a kiss. Avery’s mother told her to experience all college had to offer so she agreed. Both felt an instant connection. Unfortunately Denver gets a call that forces him to leave and a teammate moves in telling Avery that Denver is on the phone with his girl-friend. Avery feels let down but hits it off with the teammate. Two years later and Avery breaks up with the teammate and starts going out with Denver. The two go through a series of obstacles to reach their HEA.
I will say one thing. This really needed a good proofread. There were times when I had to re-read a section through to really understand it. That being said, sometimes Advanced Reader Copies are like that but this was overly so.
This is a spicy read. I would recommend this to anyone over the age of 18.
An absolutely fantastic, well written, well developed, well described, funny, witty, emotionally deep, engaging, and relatable read. The characters are real, sweet, and believable with instant chemistry between them; the secondary characters are amazing. This book is guaranteed to leave you wanting more. Definitely recommended!

Great story especially how Denver without breaking the standard no matter how messed up it was that the coach had in place for the football team. He found a way to let the girl of his dreams that would eventually become his wife that her then current boyfriend was cheating on her Loved how it turned out even with the tragedy of domestic abuse even though the parents weren’t together the police were able to arrest and charge the father with multiple crimes
Avery’s been dating Kyle since freshman year of college. She has a feeling that he is cheating on her but she is dealing with family issues and doesn’t have the time to deal with her boyfriend. The entire football team knows what is going on but they won’t tell her what’s going on. Avery starts getting text messages from someone she calls Titan. Holy hotness the chemistry, attraction between these two are explosive and hot. Avery and her mystery guy continue to text and he helps her catch her boyfriend cheating on her but she doesn’t get made. This was such a great read and a great story.

Denver and Avery meet freshman year in college but because some people suck they are pulled away. Denver has always pined for Avery but since she was dating/taken buy a different football player she never paid him any mind. Denver has waited for Avery since freshman year so when he sees Avery’s bf cheating, without breaking his loyalty to his team he lets her know that he is cheating. Denver gives Avery time but he can’t ignore his desire for her so he lets her know that he is all in.
I loved Denver and Avery. I loved how all in Denver was – he was so insta from their first kiss their freshman year. I kinda struggle with a dude in college not having sex for that long because I am not sure that is real. But it was so clear how much Denver adored and loved Avery from day one. Denver and Avery had their instant connection that no one could. I loved that their anonymous texting was not a long drawn out drama. I loved that once they met that they were both all in. I loved how much they connected and how much their families loved each other. When the conflict hit I was beyond annoyed that Denver refused to talk to Avery. It went against everything he was. It made me so angry – even more so when she just rolled over and forgave him because that is what it felt like to me. BUT . . . I liked the story. I had a smile on my face a majority of the time I was reading it. This was a feel good book that I will probably read over and over again.
I received this book as an ARC copy. Texting Titan will keep you turning the pages from intro to conclusion. Denver is the hunk you want to be obsessed with you. He is blown away the first dare-to-kiss with Avery. However, due to never-ending complications and problems encountered by his single mother, he waits while another “player” dates her — hoping his turn is coming.
The chemistry is undeniable between Denver and Avery from first kiss to the inevitable chance he makes for himself as Titan her unknown romantic hero. If you haven’t read any others by Kaci Rose — this is a good place to start!
This was a cute read. I did like that Denver wasn’t your typical jock. There were some parts that were a little slow but all in all a good read.
Avery’s been dating Kyle since freshman year. He’s cheating, and she suspects it, but she’s been dealing with some personal family issues. Everyone on the team knows, but they can’t break “team trust” by telling her. Until she starts getting text messages from someone she calls Titan. Holy hotness – these two are explosive together. He’s always know she’s the one for him; he just has to give her the time and space for her to figure out how perfect they are together. Titan is the perfect guy, walking that tight line between doing what’s best for his mother, and what’s best for his relationship with Avery. The author writes in a relaxed, easy-going manner, making the book move right along. The characters are real and believable, and their parents are terrific and supportive. This book was very enjoyable to read.
