I have read other titles by this author and this is just as good as those. The author did a great job with giving these characters life. The chemistry is undeniable and steamy. The storyline flows smoothly from beginning to end.

Matt and Delilah used to be friends when they were kids but something happened to turn them into rivals. Now years later they are rivals at work and up for the same position. Delilah starts texting someone however uses the wrong number and it ends up going to Matt. He knows who its from but she has no clue that she’s sharing private thoughts with her rival. Sparks fly between them and soon Matt wants more with Delilah and tries to fix their relationship. Will Delilah give him a chance? Can they be together with everything crazy at the office?
This is a great story that once I started it I couldn’t put it down. The chemistry between them is blazing hot. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.

Lighthearted, funny, perfect rom-com!
The writing was flawless and I spent very good, enjoyable time with the characters presented in this story. I loved it so much!
I laughed a lot especially with the quirky assistant appearances. All the characters had so much natural chemistry between them that it was really easy to fall in love with them. All the exchanges either verbal or through texts were adding to the appeal of the whole plot. Great read and I would gladly read more about them in the future.
Sinfully delicious anonymous text messages work every time
Texting The Enemy is the first book in the Rhapsody Hills series. This story is fun, flirty, romantic and has laugh out loud dialogue and banter. The story is about Matt and Delilah. These two have a natural spark between these co-workers who are rivals/enemies. But that is not how they were originally as when they were younger they were best friends. With the help of some more than intriguing and sinfully delicious “anonymous” text messages things start to heat up. Add in some hilarious co-workers and you have a wonderfully funny and completely entertaining book.
I really enjoyed reading this book and am looking forward to the next in this series.
I received an ARC of this book in exchange for my honest review. My opinions are all my own.
T.K. Barber has done it again. Romance isn’t my normal genre, but T.K. Barber’s books are so much more than just Romance. Texting The Enemy is filled with engaging characters (Ashlyn The Intern is my absolute fave), fantastic main characters (Del and Matt are amazing), and a weaving of plot lines that form a beautiful tapestry at the, of course, HEA. The pacing is wonderful, with no slow moments. The dialogue is witty and filled with fantastic banter. Again, Ashlyn The Intern is my FAVE!! I won’t give any spoilers, this book deserves for you to read it yourself. T.K. Barber is the only romance author I read, and I will read everything she publishes. Fantastic book. Five stars all the way!
“Texting The Enemy” is flirty, witty, sexy, sweet and deliciously satisfying romance. I absolutely enjoyed the banter and wit between Matt and Delilah. There is just the right amount of steamy scenes and plot twists to keep the story engaging. I couldn’t stop reading it until I finished with the very last word. Five massive stars for this boo! You don’t want to miss this spectacular rom-com. Absolutely loved it and I’m over the moon as I have found another new author to read. Happy reading everyone!!
If you’re looking for a book with some great laugh out loud moments, this is it! The story line is well written, the humor is definitely there, and the characters are fantastic and entertaining for sure. I wasn’t completely sure how a story centered around texting would be but it’s a winner. Don’t hesitate to grab your copy today.

I absolutely loved this book. It has a clever plot, funny and intriguing from beginning to end! It contains laughter, teasing mystery, and romance. I like the strong yet realistically vulnerable characters. The secondary characters are perfectly placed in the story line and contributed to the story’s effect without being just “fluff”. They were awesome! The romance focused on Matt and Delilah’s building relationship and made the characters very realistic and likable. I’m looking forward to the next book from this author. Do yourself a huge favor and don’t miss this one!
This is the first book that I have read from this author and I really enjoyed it. This book was a friends turned enemies to lovers romance. This book had me laughing several times. Loved Matthew and Delilah.

This was my first book by T.K. Barber but I can already tell it won’t be my last!!! It is a laugh out loud story with witty banter, fantastic characters, enemies to lovers/office romance/romantic suspense aspects and a plot that has more layers then a Napoleon Cake. Every time I thought I knew what the big conflict was going to be, the author added a new element, character, twist to the story and I loved not knowing what was going to come next!
I loved Matt and Delilah’s story so much! They had so much natural chemistry and their banter was spot on. I loved their text exchanges but I also loved their in person exchanges and how they kind of spied on each other. Reading about one of them sneaking through the office after hours all spy style was probably one of my favorite scenes! Matt was one of my favorite leading men! He could have easily come off as the reformed billionaire play boy but yet there was more to him, like how he wanted to have a real relationship with someone that didn’t see him as only a fling. I also liked that Matt genuinely wanted to make sure the contest was fair, even though that kept blowing up in his face, along with pretty much every other gesture he tried to make. I really liked Delilah as a lead character. She was a genuinely kind person that wanted to make things better for her coworkers and she wanted to take care of her friends. Even though she had legitimate reasons to dislike Matt she still was willing to drop everything when he needed her. I also liked that she had a lot of fight in her and that she wasn’t willing to quit but if she was going down she was gonna go out swinging.
I liked that this story also had freaking amazing supporting characters like Lindee & Ashlyn. Ashlyn was definitely my favorite supporting character because she was just so quirky, spacey and yet still managed to pull off a plain white t’s reference. I can’t wait for these two to get their own stories and hopefully continue to see more glimpses of Matt and Delilah.
There is so much to love about this story and I would highly recommend it to anyone that is looking for a book to read!

I originally thought I would find myself too old to enjoy a romance that revolves around texting. But I found Del so charming and a little snarky that I wanted to see if she indeed go through with dialing her number buddy. She doesn’t know she is texting someone she knows but Matthew knows her, has her number in his phone, and plays along, deliciously screwing with her. I also loved reading about young professionals that have their act together and WANT to partake in a healthy relationship. I received this an ARC and chose to review this after enjoying the author’s previous novels that also have great romance, a sustainable storyline, and great supporting cast.
Okay y’all. I laughed so hard at Ashlyn The Intern. The random hilarity that spewed out of her mouth nearly nonstop was THE BEST. I just had to get that off my chest first thing. She is my absolute favorite part of this book. That being said, I loved Delilah and Matthew and their story! It had the perfect amount of steam, angst, and lols and I enjoyed the overall plot. The characters and their thoughts and dialogue all felt very real; it seemed like I was experiencing everything along with them. I so cannot wait for the rest of this series. I just know it’s going to be epically hilarious and sweet after reading this first book.
This book is perfect for anyone looking for a hilarious, sweet, sassy romance with just a bit of adult language and some fade to black naughty times (none of which bothers me in the slightest, but it’s nice to read a book where it isn’t the focal point!).

I enjoyed the entire premise of establishing an anonymous relationship via text messages when only one party knows the identity of the other. In this case, Matt really wasn’t sure why there was so much animus for him in his childhood friend. She could wound him with a few smart remarks.
Delilah had her reasons for feeling betrayed by her friend and the reason unfolds throughout the story. What I liked about her is that while she handed out the zingers because she felt she was up against a wall, she apologized and was appropriately contrite when she discovered her words had hurt or she was wrong.
You will like this book if you enjoy an enemies to lovers book with little backstory, slow burn, a little naughty language and no overt intimate encounters.

I absolutely loved Matt and Del’s story. They’re so perfect and adorable for each other. In typical TK fashion, you’re left guessing, looking for little clues to put together all the pieces of the puzzle. Lindee and Ashlyn are amazing. They’ll keep you laughing and begging for their own books.
