A SECOND-CHANCE ROMANTIC COMEDY! I love you, he said.Forever, he said.Turns out, he lied. When he leaves me high and dry after a cross-country move, I push him out of my life as much as I can, which is hard to do when the guy who broke your heart also happens to be the most famous dude in town. After a disastrous year, he’s aiming to rehab his reputation, and I just so happen to be aiming for a … his reputation, and I just so happen to be aiming for a promotion at the paper.
So, we strike a deal, and it’s a win-win all around.
Besides, what’s the harm in a few dates to charity galas anyway?
He’s arrogant, a total jerk. There’s no way I’ll fall for him…again.
I used to love him. Now I hate him…I think.

Sometimes there will be a character that is so vile that we readers hate everything about them. It takes a talented author to create a character that is hated but not cartoonish and over the top. And once in a while, that talented author will write the most beautiful redemption story for that character and we end up loving him instead of hating him. But like Text Me Baby One More Time says, there’s a thin line between love and hate.
We first meet Shep in Let’s Get Textual, the book that started this amazing series. He is the younger brother of Zach, and college classmate of Delia. He is a horrible person and does something abhorrent to Delia and is the catalyst for a rift between the two. We meet Denny in Can’t Text This as the twin sister of Monty. We don’t get a lot of her backstory in that book but we know she is completely different than her elementary school teacher sister. She is unfiltered and not at all shy about her sexuality.
Text Me Baby is the redemption story we didn’t know we wanted. It is told in dual point of view, and both six years ago and in the present. Past Shep and Denny “meet” via text in high school, when their best friends want to get engaged. They continue to text each other and develop a strong friendship and then more. They decide to give a relationship a shot when they are finally at the same college the next school year. Fast forward to the present, and this obviously didn’t work out. We don’t know what happened for a long time, but Denny hates Shep for what he did to her. But they need each other – she needs his interview for a promotion and he needs her to clean up his image.
I already liked Denny from Can’t Text This, but enjoyed learning more about her. But I love a good redemption story and Shep’s is outstanding. He learned so much about his own behaviour and really made an effort to amend his actions. And total honesty, the last chapter of the book made me tear up at all the feelings, and that is a rarity for me.
Note: This book can definitely be read as a standalone. While these characters are connected to others in the series, and those characters make appearances in this book, the relevant information is given here and you won’t feel like you are missing something if you haven’t read the others. But having read them all adds so much more depth to the experience of this book that I highly recommend it. And if you have Kindle Unlimited there is no excuse not to read them all!
Text Me Baby One More Time is a story about a boy and girl. We’ll call them Dick and Jane.
Dick has been a bit lost, since he had let someone go, too soon because of his insecurities. Jane, unfortunately, had to be part of it. Sometimes though, second chances are deserved. I loved this story as I have enjoyed the other books in this series. I knew the moment I opened it. I would be lost to the world, and all my attention would be on to these two.
Just like the other three, it’s full of heart. Will have you laughing and wanting to be a part of the story. I’m thrilled that this story came to be. And even though this is the last in the series 🙁 I think it ended well. These characters will forever be a part of me and their adventures, the love that surrounds all of them. I’m not crying.. you are
Teagan is a fantastic writer, how she was able to build this world of characters that quickly take place in your heart. Her writing style is the perfect match for me… I have good taste in books. Ask anyone, it’s true.
Overall, Of course, Five Boundless Stars.
Teagan Hunter has once again made me fall in love with a single text message! This is one long distance, years in the making romance that you don’t want to miss out on reading. Angst, hope, longing and fear of what if are just a few things that’ll reel you in! Hunter reveals her trademark humor, wit, and brings yet another wonderful round of banter between two characters that you equally love. Text Me Baby One More Time is THE read to add to your kindle! Don’t miss out!
Oh man, y’all these characters are Teagan Hunter’s ace in the hole! How does she find these people… oh wait, she totally makes them up, doesn’t she?! Well I can tell you that these two felt so real that I’m pretty sure we have all been them at one point in time. The texting chats remind me of when I was in high school talking and flirting with my boyfriend.
I seriously L-O-V-E this book. I never, like EVER, expected a storyline that was so hilariously Teagan Hunter, but with this sweet-side to it that made me smile all dreamily and insane like while reading. Text Me Baby One More Time is a book that makes you deliriously happy until you’re crying. Those aren’t tears from laughing so hard… well some might be, but the ones I’m talking about are the ones that sneak up on your heart and crush it and leave you feeling wrecked and a bit mad at Mrs. Hunter. However, she eventually redeems herself in true Hunter fashion.
I didn’t think I could love these two names-not-to-be-spoken-before-release-day any more than I do. I was so sure Zach and Delia were going to be my absolute favorite texting lover’s, but alas, these two that shall not be named are the winners! They are irresistible. These two fought for each other. It’s a slow and delicious burn. Oh Teagan, I can’t believe this texting series is over. I fell in love with your writing and humor through these words and four seriously amazing stores. You saved the best for last, these two certainly deserved their happy ending and you’ve added just the right amount of feelings to the humor. So while I hate to say goodbye to a great group of characters (literally and metaphorically) I can’t wait to see where you take us next! Onwards and upwards!!
I received an ARC of this book with the hope that I would leave an Unbiased Opinion. I was not required to leave a review, positive or otherwise, and my opinions are just that… my opinions.
Text Me Baby One More Time is our final texting book from Teagan Hunter, it’s a bittersweet day, but the story was beautiful and I want to re-read and binge this series. If you haven’t started this series now, lucky for you all four books are in kindle unlimited and you can binge read them right now. Although, they do all standalone, these characters are all intertwined and the friendships are on point that I would recommend reading in order.
Once again, Teagan’s writing was witty and the sexual tension was on point. Text Me Baby One More Time was probably the most emotional story of the four. This story is so much more than slapstick comedy ( not that the others were) but the second chance romance in this story was heartbreaking on many fronts.
I particularly loved watching everything come full circle, not just with their relationship, but the book series as a whole. Things that happened way back in Let’s Get Textual are explained and other small things throughout the series.
Text Me Baby One More Time is a filled with a group of friends that I would love to nerd out with, Teagan nailed this series finale and these are books I will enjoy coming back to over and over.
First things first: I will be using nicknames for the characters, so let’s call her “Bucky” and henceforth and forevermore he will be “Cap”. And now, on with the show!
Let’s Get Textual was my first Teagan Hunter read and I loved that story, and have read each one in this series as they’ve been released and enjoyed all of them. I was curious as to who the characters would be for this particular book and as soon as I got to the first chapter, I knew I was gonna be in for an epic story and this did NOT let me down. I’m currently typing this while living with a total book hangover and it is more than worth it!
This story is told from dual POV, and because there’s a history between the characters, we get to see how they became acquainted and everything that happened that leads us to the present story. The hilarity kicks off between these two when they first encounter each other via text, and it only improves with age because we get first-rate snark that had me laughing a lot. It’s not all fun and games for Cap and Bucky, there are some emotional and heartwrenching moments and confessions that bring a perfect balance to this story.
While I’m sad that this is the end of this particular series, Ms. Hunter made sure to save the best story and couple for last and this is one book (and the whole series) is one I highly recommend for everyone!
Whenever I am looking for a book to make me laugh and just overall feel good; I turn to this series. Teagan has a way of telling a story that will make you lose all sense of time and before you know it you have finished another book. This book is a perfect example of that. The characters are amazing and had no qualms of giving as much as the were taking and both were so stubborn but determined, if only they talked… Their texts were amazing and what made their relationship what it was.
This friend to enemies to lovers book is one that you don’t want to miss! Grab your copy ASAP and get started, but fair warning…there are parts that will have you LOLing, so read when your not in a room full of people!!
Wow..wow…wow!! Seriously lost it with this book! The hero…amazing. The heroine…even better. Captain and Bucky together were perfection!
Both characters have a past. They were so close until he ruined everything. I honestly knew something was up, but this story line blew me away.
The hero seems like an asshole, but he really is just insecure, immature, and not very confident in his actions. He covets what everyone else has and doesn’t like other to be happy. This animosity stems from ruining his own happiness. Now he makes it a point to ruin relationships because he is afraid of getting hurt.
The heroine is a spitfire. She seems sure of herself, but her actions and responses are her way of protecting her heart. She knows better than to give it away again.
Honestly this is the best review I can write without spoiling things. Just know this…you will not be disappointed. It was amazing and wrapped up the texting series perfectly.
-An ARC was generously provided in exchange for an honest review.-
The guy you hate but can’t help but love. What do you do when the guy you fly across the country to be with, all of a sudden acts like you don’t exist? You harden your heart and learn to be a new stronger you and don’t open your heart for anyone else. Now what happens when you still have to see him over the years, besides trying not to gut punch him? You do the next best adult thing, and ignore his existence. Then fate throws him back into your life, the same way he showed up the first time. There’s only so much your heart and gut can take. Read this book to find out if fate wins the second time around or if life is just too complicated to move on…
5 Stars!!!!!
Ahhh Bucky and Cap where do I start.
I LOVED this story, I could not put it down. I laughed, I was mad and sad every emotion went through me with this book.
The drama, the love, the witty remarks there is nothing about this book that I would not recommend to everyone I know.
If you have never read a book by Teagan before start with this series you will absolutely not regret it.
Teagan Hunter has officially become one of my favorite and go-to authors. I love her writing and I loved this book.
I think I said once that I can’t help but fall in love with the A-holes that makes us see that there is more to them and this book was no exception. I loved the chemistry between main MC’s which was hot as hell, banter that had me laughing out loud and then there’s Steve. I mean come on who in their right mind wouldn’t love him and what he represents.
I’ll be honest and say when I started reading and saw who the MC was I was sceptical to say the least. But Teagan Hunter managed to make me see past his wall and what was underneath and had me understand a few things better and that allowed me to let myself fall for him.
As much as I loved all the books in this series I’ve got to say my main man still remains Robbie (sorry Zack).
And now I’m there with the rest of the world waiting to see what’s in store for us next after all the Text books.

I am having such an array of emotions. I have been waiting for this book and it was even better than I expected. Cap and Bucky had my heart and I went into this story with way different feelings towards Cap. But as the rom com genius and master that Teagan Hunter is, she made me change my mind. As usual for the text series, I was laughing out loud so many times in this book. I even might have learned a few new one liners I am totally using. Bucky was my favorite character. She was strong and sassy. I loved how stubborn she was. Many times her actions and her words I so relate to. Don’t get me wrong. Cap is a stud in all forms and he had me laughing and smiling the whole time. But Bucky is the true top dog in this book to me. As a fan of this series I loved that characters from past books in the series were present and I fell for them all over again. As much as I loved this book, I am also sad because this series has come to end. My final word for it is BRAVO. Teagan Hunter created an amazing series that spoke to so many people and I know it kept me laughing, inspired, swooning and truly getting lost in a world I could relate to. I can’t suggest this book, the whole series enough. I guarantee readers will fall head over heels like me and so many others have. I can’t wait to see what Teagan Hunter creates next.
I love Teagan’s texting series! This is the final book in her Textng series and she sent us off with the best. I couldn’t put it down! I loved Cap and Bucky there perfect for each other. If you love romantic comedies then this series is for you. I can’t wait to see what she comes out with next. She’s my all time favorite RomCom author. You won’t be disappointed.
I received a advanced readers copy and I’m leaving a voluntary review.
MORE PLEASE! Seriously. This has been the best series I have read in a really long time. The unique theme of the series just draws you in and gives you an experience you aren’t likely to forget. Text Me Baby, One More Time is the next book in Teagan Hunter’s texting series. If you haven’t started this series, then you are missing out. Her brilliant writing style and dynamic characters are so charming that you won’t want to put it down.
The plot of this book is a little different than the others. Texting, of course, plays a critical role in the relationship between the two characters. I really liked how the author used texting in this book. It was similar to the others, but also completely different, if that even makes any sense. I don’t want to spoil, but I will say this book has an overall theme that will surprise you.
Ah the characters. The author wanted this book to be a surprise so for that I will make this short and sweet. I love the heroine in this book. She is fierce and can hold her own. The male in this book was a strong character. He really had a lot of hurdles to jump through, but he made it out the other side alive.
The heat in this book is much like the rest. The chemistry between the characters is undeniable. The humor mixed in with the tension leaves the readers laughing and panting all at the same time. I really enjoyed the way the author had these characters interacting. It was interesting that is for sure.
Writing style. I do not think I will ever get tired of writing how amazing this authors writing style is. The pace of this book is steady. The story is told from dual point of views. The characters are so unique and dynamic. This author is not afraid to go there, that is for sure. She just dives on in and writes whatever her little heart demands even if it might not be popular at first. She has a way of turning your perception around and making you reevaluate things you thought you knew.
In conclusion, this was a great book. I enjoyed this entire series. I would and have already recommended this book and series to others. I will continue to do so from here on out. I cannot wait to see what this author has up her sleeve next.

This is the final book in the Texting Series and it wraps up with Cap and Bucky. Who are they? Well, you will have to read it to see how this book makes the series come full circle.
These two form a bond over each other’s best friends being a couple. They start texting when in high school and strike up a unique relationship. They have missed opportunities and come back together for a wedding. It is a great way to finish off the series as this couple were sassy with sweet. Their banter was strong and mostly funny. I did think in a couple of instances that their behavior was sophomoric and not when they were in high school, but for the most part I’m was super happy reading this installment of the series.
If you have read the other books, you’ll be happy to know those couples make small cameos and you get a sense of peace and finality.
This book was awesome. No surprise there though. It was a great end to the Text series.
Cap and Bucky are so good. There was swooning, there was sadness, and there was wanting to dick punch. I love Teagans writing. I can always read her books in one sitting. I cannot wait to see what she has in store for us next!!
My most anticipated read! It was worth the wait! This book just keeps getting better. I was invested from the beginning. I wanted to know what happened in the past and where they would end up. That is a testament to how great of a writer Teagan Hunter is, she makes you care about what happens in the character’s lives. She makes them real! Five star read! A must read!
I didn’t think any couple from the Texting series could top Robbie and Monty, yet here we are. I adore this series! The wit, sarcasm and humor always draw me in, but it’s the feels that keep me coming back.
This second chance romance was the perfect way to wrap up a series that has been full of fantastic characters that I love so much. In true Teagan fashion, this story will grab your heart and make you laugh out loud – the perfect combination!
Hmm what can I say about this book…..OMG loved it, even knowing it was the last in this series is was simply amazing Cap and Buc. Teagan is one of my one click reads, can never have enough of her work. Can’t wait to see what she has in store for us.
Oops, Teagan Hunter did it again… she played with my heart… got lost in her book… oh baby, baby!
That’s right… one of my favorite queens of RomCom delivered with another quick witted book, Text Me Baby One More Time! Like the other books in the Texting Series these characters are ones you can’t help but root for. This is Cap and Bucky’s story of a second chance romance. Doesn’t sound familiar?!Don’t know who I am talking about?! I thought the same as I met these characters again and realized I had met them before in previous Texting books. I enjoyed reading their journey which is given to us in the past and present with dual perspective.
Teagan did a great job with the last book in the series as some of our other beloved Texting Series characters obviously tied it. She successfully made me want to reread and revisit each of their stories.
I definitely recommend this book if you are looking for an enjoyable RomCom!
