I can look, but I can’t touch. As the enforcer of The Lost Boys MC, I am used to getting my hands dirty. I’ve always kept my emotions in check. It helps given the position I am in. When I was tasked with watching over our President’s sister,I was ready for it.What I wasn’t ready for, is how that beauty would pull at my heart.I’ve known Ella for years. After a horrible break up with her ex, all I … years.
After a horrible break up with her ex, all I wanted to do was protect her.
But now, all I want is to bend her over and make her mine.
I know I should resist her.
But I think my heart has other plans.
Texas is the first book of The Lost Boys MC. more
OMG. Such a great beginning to a new series.
Texas is asked by Stone to watch over his sister, Ella and her daughter, Keva, who are being stalked by her ex Jett, a former member of the Lost Boys. Texas has known Ella for years and thinks that he can watch over and protect them and keep his heart out of it.
Ella really didn’t want her brother to ask anyone to watch over her and Keva, but she knows she needs help since Jett won’t leave them alone. All she wants is to do raise her daughter and make a life for the both of them.
Can Ella and Texas stop Jett and have a relationship together? Will they ever find love and happiness?
This is my honest opinion about this book.
This was my first Savannah Rylan’s book. This is the first book in The Lost Boys MC Series. Ella and Texas’s journey is filled with danger, action, and twists and turns. Keva, Ella’s daughter, is cute. Beth Roeg and Tor Thom did a great job with the narration. Looking forward to listen to the next book in the Series, Stone’s story. I was given a free review copy of the audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.
I love stories with an abusive ex that your heroine is trying to overcome and this book has every aspect of that and then some. I had my difficult relationship starter and the suspense and drama building throughout the whole book until an explosive ending. I loved everything about this book from the beautiful writing to the amazing narration.
Texas
The Lost Boys MC, Book 1
By: Savannah Rylan
Narrated by: Beth Roeg, Tor Thom
This is my first Savannah Rylan book, and it will not be my last. Not because it is an MC book and I love the trope, but because she can write! Ella is under the protection of her brother, Stone’s, MC. Her ex, Jett is abusive and dangerous, and Stone has Texas, his vice president watching out for her and his niece Keva. But there is more she needs protection from. Her heart is in danger with Texas around. The chemistry these two have is off the charts. Being off limits makes it that much harder for the two and as Jett becomes more of a threat, her life and Keva’s is priority. So, what will happen when Stone finds out about the two? And what happens with Jett? Give this a listen. You will enjoy a smartly written story, with fantastic characters and a tea party you surely do not want to miss.
Beth Roeg and Tor Thom bring this gem to life. I loved this team because they truly fit the characters. Roeg has a confidence in her voice as Ella, yet she holds a vulnerability too. Thom as the alpha, Texas always brings an air of command in his performance, yet he has the teddy bear effect when it comes to his women. I love these two, and really enjoyed their portrayal of the story.

Fantastic Story & Narration Riveting & Heartfelt!
Texas
The Lost Boys MC, Book 1
By: Savannah Rylan
Narrated by: Beth Roeg, Tor Thom
I loved this book, Savannah Rylan is a “new to me” author and I was not familiar with her work, I am not only impressed by it but I am questioning why it took me so long. I enjoyed her writing style, the story she created is original with interesting storylines that are captivating from start to end. Her characters are complex and nicely developed, they are realistic, easy to relate to and connect with. This is not your typical MC novel, it is so much more, while there is some insight given on the MC this story is more focused on the characters. I adored both lead characters, Ella, her brother, Stone, is the President of The Lost Boys MC, she was married to Jett, a fallen member of the club, he was thrown out for how he treated and hurt Ella. The club does not tolerate abuse against woman or children. Jett is still a thorn in Ella’s side so Stone assigns his friend and the VP of the MC. Texas, to watch over her. He moves into the the vacant house next to hers to make sure she and her daughter Keva are safe. Keva is just adorable, also loved Joanne, the woman who was like a mother/grandmother to Ella and Keva, she was a riot with her advice. Advice that included not giving up on love and going after the hotness that is in front of her, or rather next door to her. The chemistry between Ella and Texas is electric and undeniable but because of her brother she is off limits. But they can only deny each other for so long. I loved how everything plays out in this book, the story is well plotted and there is never a dull moment with plenty of drama, some angst, action, twists and turns, thrilling and suspenseful moments, emotional and heartfelt moments and some hot romance. Savannah Rylan, thank you for this fantastic story and the emotional rollercoaster ride, I am looking forward to checking out more of your work.
I listened to the Audible edition, Beth Roeg and Tor Thom are wonderful narrators and voice artists. They bring the characters to life, give each their own voice and personality as well as heart and attitude. Their portrayal of the characters is spot on, Beth Roeg perfected Ella’s roles, grasping her persona to the tee, she was great with Keva and Jonanne roles too. Tor Thom’s Texas was perfection too, he brought out both is soft side and his alpha-tude his Stone was awesome too. They are entertaining storytellers and their talent is reflected in their amazing performance. Thank you for this fantastic listen, it was a pleasure to listen to.
Texas is book one in The Lost Boys MC series by Savannah Rylan. Savannah is a new to me author and as soon as I saw the cover of this book, I knew I had to read it.
Ella Watts older brother Stone is the President of the Lost Boys Motorcycle Club. Against her brother’s wishes, years before, she had married one of the club members, Jett. But Jett was an abusive husband. After years of torment, Ella leaves with her little girl, Keva. Once her brother learns of Jett’s actions, he is kicked out of the MC. But this doesn’t stop Jett from tormenting Ella any way he can, at work, at home. He still has visitation rights to Keva so Ella can’t get him out of her life.
Texas Bronson is Vice President and also an enforcer with The Lost Boys. He is also best friends with Stone, the president. Stone knows Ella is struggling but she won’t confide in him so he asks Texas to move in next door to her so he can protect her.
Texas takes one look at Ella and knows he’s in big trouble. Ella hasn’t allowed herself to feel any attraction to a man since the end of her marriage two years before. But one look at Texas and she starts having thoughts she hasn’t had in a long time.
These two fight their attraction as much as they can. Stone is so protective of Ella. He would kill Texas in a heart beat if he thought he was even thinking about touching his sister. But, Jett has been amping up his threats to the family. Ella and Keva have to be protected and of course, Texas is all in with being the man to protect her. To protect what’s his.
Not only does Texas fall for Ella a little more every day, he also falls in love with little Keva. They were so adorable together. All the while, Stone is still whispering his threats in his ear if Texas so much as thinks about Ella.
I enjoyed this. It had a little bit of everything. I really liked Texas. I do wish he wouldn’t have been so divided between his loyalty to Stone and his feelings for Ella. There was no question as to how he felt. But I wanted him to be all in. Still, he was such a cool guy. He was this tough motorcycle club enforcer and can throw together a pesto sauce in a few minutes. This man can cook. And he thinks nothing of sitting on the floor having a tea party with a little four year old girl. Just adorable.
This book had plenty of sexy, sizzling times, sweet times and some pretty suspenseful times. If you enjoy MC books, you should give this a try. The next book in the series is Stone. You can guess who that one is about.
“Texas” is the first book in the Lost Boys series, and I loved it!! Ella is being terrorized by her jerk of an ex, and who better to give her protection than the enforcer of the Lost Boys MC? I loved his sexy, cocky attitude, and some of the visuals I got from this totally engaging read had me laughing out loud, while others had me swooning with a big sigh. I can’t wait to read about more of the LBMC!
Ella is recently divorced after an awful marriage, but when she got the chance to leave Jett with her daughter, she took it. But when Ella’s brother Stone, the President of the Lost Boys, realizes what Jett put his sister through, he kicks him out of the MC and hopes he leaves her alone. But to be sure, he puts Texas, his VP, Enforcer and best friend, in charge of keeping his sister safe by moving him in next door. Ella finds it hard to concentrate with Texas being so close, off limits and so damn sexy!!! Is he really off limits?
Texas is doing the MC and Stone a favor, but when he realizes that Jett is dangerous to both Ella and Keva, he inserts himself into Ella’s life as much as possible, but when they get close, will Texas back off or will Ella back off?
This is the start of the series and so, so good! There is so much happening that you are cheering for Ella and Texas as well as Keva!! But will Stone get in the way of happiness? I can’t wait for more from the series! I received an ARC of this book from the author.
This was a fantastic first book in a new series about a young single mom trying to protect her daughter from her abusive ex husband and a young bad boy with a soft spot for a single mom and her daughter. Texas is part of the Lost Boys MC and has had a crush on Ella for years but with her brother being the president of the MC, she has always been off limits until now. Ella has feelings for Texas but she doesn’t want to risk her heart again. When her ex starts coming around things between Texas and Ella begin to change. Texas was filled with suspense, danger, laughter, heartache, passion, healing, friendship, and love. Savannah Rylan creates thrilling stories about danger with alpha males and courageous females who find love. I can’t wait to read the next book in the Lost Boys MC series.
“I voluntarily reviewed an ARC copy of this book.”
Texas is the first book in The Lost Boys series. The story is about Texas (the VP for The Lost Boys MC), Ella (the sister to the President of The Lost Boys MC) and Keva (Ella’s daughter). If you like Single mom, best friend’s sister and MC books then this is a great book to read. It offers an abusive ex-husband, corruption, meddling older brother, protective MC “brothers” and steamy chemistry between Ella and Texas. Can’t wait to see where this series goes from here.
In this book, we have Texas, who is the VP of the Lost Boys MC group. The President of the Lost Boys, MC group, Stone asks Texas to live next door to his baby sister, Ella to watch over her, in case the ex-hubby Jett – also an ex- MC Member, comes to pay her any extra visits. Ella and Jett have a 4 yr old daughter, Keva, who doesn’t realize she needs protection also.
Ella works as a cashier at the local grocery store. It seems that this is just a mind numbing job Ella has. Something just to pass the time and earn her some money.
While Texas is living next door to Ella, Stone told Texas that he was not to get involved with Ella, and he was to keep his mind and his hands to himself. After Texas steals his first kiss from Ella he walks out on her, he knows he can’t keep his hands to himself, let alone his thoughts.
Texas and Ella have known each other a few years. However, their back story isn’t explored / explained, of when / how they met, did they ever do any talking / or glances at each other.
I did receive a free ARC copy from the author. I am freely leaving an honest review.
Arc review For honest review. Ella and her daughter kava have been having issues with her ex jett . So her brother Stone president of the lost boys mc puts Vic President Texas there to protect her . Awesome story 10 stars
Ooh how I’d like to visit Texas lol!! Great beginning to a series! Texas was amazing and I loved how he was with Ella and Keva. Ella’s brother asks Texas to keep an eye out for his sister cause of her abusive ex but the thing is Texas wants more then just keep an eye out for her. Loved this beginning to end can’t wait for more!
I voluntarily reviewed a advanced readers copy of this book
A exciting wonderful standalone addition to the series. It is well written and includes lots of drama, action, secrecy, violence, betrayal, and steam. I was throughly engaged from start to finsh on the edge of my seat thru their journey with twists and turns and wondering can they survive the surprise, what will happen if Stone finds out? Amazing characters that were interesting, well developed and had a great connection and sizzling hot chemistry. I voluntarily reviewed this ARC.
I voluntarily reviewed an arc of this book.
This is a great beginning to a new MC series, The Lost Boys MC, this is a genre that Savannah Rylan writes incredibly well. This story is well-written and fast-paced. I loved the characters and the storyline. Awesome story, I can’t to see what happens to Stone in the next book.
OMG! The suspense in this book was over the top! Texas is the vice president of a MC and has been assigned to watch over and protect Ella and her daughter from an abusive ex-husband who is a master manipulator. Ella has tried getting help through the legal system but has failed to procure a restraining order. The events taking place in this book made my stomach hurt and my nerves on edge. There is a twist in this book that I did not see coming that helps bring a satisfactory resolution to this all too familiar and tragic scenario. I think this is perhaps the best book this author has written to date. This is an adult read but could have a trigger effect to some readers.
OMG OMG OMG where do I start!!!!!!!!!!! this is book 1 of her newest series and unlike the last couple so far there is no mention of the other MC’s she has written about which is a nice change in a way. Now onto this book specifically. (and no I REFUSE to give spoilers other than Holy COW YOU HAVE TO READ THIS) texas is the VP of the Lost boys MC and lets just say between his duty to protect his best friend’s sister, a murder plot, an undercover cop, and a kidnapping you have all the makings of a book you WILL NOT want to put down!!! I love how she weaves a LITTLE bit of the back story into the beginning but for the most part she jumps right into the actual story and lets it flow naturally.
DEFINIETELY DESERVES MORE THAN 5 STARS
What a way to start a new series! Texas and Ella will have you on the edge of your seats in this action packed drama. Ella is being stalked by her abusive ex and her brother who is the president of a MC has sent Texas to keep Ella and Keva safe from him. This should be an easy task if Texas can guard from losing his heart in the process. I voluntarily agreed to receive an ARC of this book for an honest review.
Must read! Great start to new Lost Boys MC
Page turner tons of action. Violent ex husband of the sister of MC Club President is the focus.
Talk about a tight family group!
The romance is secret and HOT! You get engrossed and before know it finished the book. I highly recommend.
I really enjoyed this book and thought it was a great start to this new MC series. The story line was very engaging. It has drama, twists, danger, suspense, action, passion, and lots of emotional turmoil. I thought Texas and Ella were wonderful characters. Their pull of attraction was easy to feel and their chemistry smoky. A really entertaining read.
