A story of war and love. Texans, Mexicans and Apaches, along with a couple of slaves and a lady from Mississippi.
The characters were memorable and kept me turning pages.
Great story, was absolutely glued to this book. Couldn’t put it down.
Couldn’t put it down.
Pretty much knew what was going to happen before it happened. It was a good read. Not a great read, but I am not sorry I read it.
I love learning about American history. This novel takes place following the Alamo. The characters are well drawn and believable. The romance is satisfying.
Phenomenal Book ! i will definitely be getting the rest of this series!!!!
Great book. Loved the story and the characters.
Far to long — but still held my interest so that I had a hard time putting it down when I should have been doing something else (like sleeping, at midnight). She certainly overrides the prejudices of that day (and I suspect prevalent in our day also). I like that. Thank you
There were a lot of extras thrown in this romance to make it more interesting.
