From New York Times and USAToday bestselling Texas romance author Jean Brashear…
It’s the first Christmas in Sweetgrass Springs, Texas for several newcomers who have found a real home for the first time—or found home again. As Jackson Gallagher works to save his hometown from withering away by relocating his business empire there, the only gift he really wants is to marry the teenage … teenage sweetheart he thought he’d lost forever—but Veronica Patton Butler has other hearts to care for, however much she loves Jackson.
Bridger Calhoun is more than ready to make Penelope Gallagher his bride, but however much she adores him, Shark Girl is dragging her heels on tying the knot—which seems to be a maddening tradition among Gallagher women.
Come join the fun…the heartache…the sweetness, as Sweetgrass prepares for a community celebration that will bring the Morning Star Gallaghers and the Marshalls to town, along with several of Jackson’s Seattle geeks and more than one lost soul about to find a place to belong—
In eccentric, lovable, unforgettable Sweetgrass Springs…where hope never fades and love never dies

A wonderful story! I love each visit to Sweetgrass Springs! The colorful residents will keep you entertained for hours.
Part of the Sweatgrass series
On the one hand this is Veronica and Jackson’s continued story; but it also continues Penny and Bridger’s story and can be read standalone. But, there are so many references to earlier and later love stories… it is a terrific series. There is a little explicit sex. If you don’t like that, skim past. The rest is worth skipping it.
Veronica’s story has a lot of issues to deal with relative to merging past family with new loves. Penny and Bridger’s has a lot to deal with past traumas impacting ability to trust and commit. The writing style does a great job dealing with the issues. I was pulling for each and every character.
I apparently read this before, but my kindle was showing only 8% read. But, it was over a year ago and the book was so good I read it again. Reminded me of the other stories in the series I had read, too. I must not have reviewed it at that time, cause I don’t see a review by me. So, here it is.
Reading who each person is in the story line is extremely helpful when trying to put everyone in their proper places. It can get confusing if you don’t do this first.
The story is filled with laughter and happiness as we catch up with the characters of Sweetgrass Springs.
Such an interesting plot and engaging characters as well as a thought provoking and a beautiful story., I thoroughly enjoyed it.
01/07/2021 “Texas Christmas Bride” (nook) is a sweet wrap-up for several couples in the “Sweetgrass Springs” series.
Great
Enjoyed it very much. It made me laugh, it made me tear up at times.
Sweet book
Nothing like small town romance, and Jean Brashear always delights.
Very entertaining
Awesome book 6 stars
A wonderful Christmas story. Small town, families, love, caring, marriage, baby what else could you want or need for a perfect Christmas story
I love this series. This was another favorite because Jean Brashear brought everyone together again. I love the characters and I’m so invested in their lives. I look forward to the next book.
Eric G Dove is an excellent narrator. He brings everyone to life. He’s so talented. One of my favorites.
Audiobook Review: Texas Christmas Bride (The Gallaghers of Sweetgrass Springs #6) by Jean Brashear, Eric G. Dove
Sweetgrass is an enigma. Haunted by heartache, yet filled with so much love. Texas Christmas Bride is a celebration of all the parts that make love beautiful. Family, friendship and new beginnings. Brashear gives readers a chance to revisit old friends, while getting to know new ones. From fun to emotional, Brashear, Dove and the Sweetgrass gang are an irresistible combination.
Didn’t finish reading it. Did not grab my attention.
It was to much immortality.
I really couldn’t get into this book and keep all the characters straight.
I really liked how the family worked together and cared for each other. To pull off a surprise wedding takes a lot of cooperation and caring. This is the first book I have read in this series and think I would have enjoyed it more if I had started with the first book. It looks like a great series and I might go back and read others.
You could tell the book was a definite part of a series as it seemed like you started reading half way through the story while missing out. The book was ok but not something I would recommend.
Great story
When I read this I wanted to read the whole series
