Teton Romance Book 1Evelyn Lewis’ secret dream of marrying her brother’s best friend is shattered when he leaves their home town to seek his fortune elsewhere. For six long years, she’s waited and wondered if he would return. After the shocking murder of her parents, her brother is the only family she has left. Refusing to accept a betrothal to a man she doesn’t love, she decides to take control … take control of her destiny and confront her parents’ killer.
Growing up, Alexander Walker has known only violence at the hands of his cruel father. After the death of his mother, he embarks on a journey into the uncharted wilderness to test his resolve as a fur trapper and mountain man. When an impulsive decision leads him back to his childhood home, he finds more than he bargained for.
Amid the rugged Teton wilderness, fate suddenly throws Alex and Evelyn together. The quiet protective boy she remembers is now as strange to her as the world she’s been forced into. Wary of the hardened man he has become, Evelyn must put her trust in him in order to survive. Alex’s memories of Evelyn are of a pesky little girl, but he can’t deny his growing feelings for the beautiful and spirited woman she is now. His biggest obstacle in winning her heart may not be her uncertainty of him, but a fear that has haunted him all his life.
In a primitive and brutal world, can Alex and Evelyn forge a love as solid as the mountains, or will the past come back to haunt them both?

I loved Jake and Rachael’s story in this time-travel historical adventure. I used to read time travel but got away from it. After reading Peggy’s stories, I found it has brought me back to a genre I once loved but had gotten away from. Excited to read the next one.
If you love romantic, historic novels
with well developed, believable
characters and ‘edge of your seat’
plots, then you’ll love “Teton Sunrise!”
Even through the twists and turns of
this story-line, you’ll enjoy the beautiful
descriptions of this untamed western
territory and the people who were
strong enough to love it and appreciate
it. Their resolve and bravery make us
appreciate all that we take for granted
today. I also enjoyed how Ms Henderson incorporated actual true
stories into her memorable novel. So
once again, good conquers evil,
eventually, and love, devotion and
courage are always on the winning side.

This book kept up my interest. Hated it to end, even though it was a long story. This was one book that I thoroughly enjoyed in such a long time and I do read one book after another.
I found Teton Sunrise and easy read, it allowed me to lose myself in the love story that develops. A great combination of historic adventure and romance. It also provides a good mystery with some surprising twists and turns. Can’t put it down!
Loved this book and will read the rest of the series
It was okay.
Loved this book…the second book was great also!! I’m on the third book now!
I enjoyed the development of the female character in a time when women had no rights and were invisible in a very dangerous environment. It was a page turning, action packed, romance till the very end. Loved it.
Teton Sunrise was a great book. It is a well written story with a lot of unpredictable turns.
I loved it
All the secrets come out in this thrilling adventure romance!
This story was unlike any I’ve read. Alex and Evelyn think they know each other, but there are quite a few secrets between them, and even more being kept from them both. Adversaries at first, they quickly learn that they have to work together if either of them is going to survive. I was absolutely glued to my Kindle, from start to finish, until the book was done. Surprises twists, intense chemistry, nail-biting action, this story has it all. Highly recommended.
Loved the characters in this book. Can’t wait to read the next book in the series.
I really enjoyed reading this book. I liked the storyline and the characters.
Author is a good storyteller – doesn’t use vulgar language or graphic sex to ruin her books – looking forward to reading more books by Peggy Henderson
Loved this story, there was a lot of suspense that couldn’t be guessed. I was stunned to discover who the culprit murdered was in the end. Amazing.
Just a little bit dull
I really enjoyed this novel. The story was different, characters believable, and a good plot.
Enjoyed the story and characters. Was looking into the next in the series, but the main characters were killed off in the first book of the series. Shame!!
Not too realistic, and the characters didn’t really appeal to me. But it helped me pass the time on a long plane ride.
This was a really good read! I liked the twists and turns.. and the romance kept me reading.
