Terror Hordesman came. With flowers. Red roses. He came, he marked me, and he moved into my house. This is bad. Very bad. Because, I’m funding the Betaren project he’s trying to destroy. If he finds out, I fear, he’ll kill me.
Terror, the Alpha Omega Collector, is about to meet his match!

Oh what fun it is to be back with the Hordesman! Terror is the Omega Collector. He has mad Omega collecting skills, he can put them under his Alpha spell, trigger their heat, and get them to confess all their secrets. In walks Tabby.
Tabby has not declared herself an Omega. In fact, she is actually the money behind the Betaren drug that the Regha’s are trying to track down and destroy. What will happen when she comes face to face with Terror? Hmmm….hotness that is what will happen.
Terror needs information on the betaren project, so when an Omega walks into the Mayor’s old house demanding they all leave for her party, he smells a rat… or an Omega that is, one that is trying to hide herself. He uses his skills to get her to talk, and then promises he will show up with roses and service her if she goes into heat. Oopsie…he may have triggered Tabby’s heat. He tries to maintain his distance, he tries to maintain his professionalism but when a possessive Alpha meets HIS Omega…all bets are off.
I am loving how light hearted and fun this series is. I mean, yes, people still get their arms ripped off and beat with them (no really they do), and more often than not, there is a bloodbath in the story…but it is still such a sexy, hotttttt, entertaining read. Great world building, each book can be read as a standalone (though it won’t be as much fun), and there are no crazy cliffhangers! There is an underlying arc…so keep that in mind. I am enjoying the heck out of these hordesmen and I will definitely recommend it to all my sci-fi romance lovers. A must read series in my opinion!

I have read enough series to know a repeat of the same old same old when I see one. This one isn’t… Well, beyond the Me Alpha, You Omega stuff, but that’s the same for all romance novels, if you think about it. Here, we’ve launched beyond Book One. We’re searching for those involved with an omega-masking drug that we now find out isn’t as benevolent as originally thought. Terror, the Alpha Collector, finds his hands full from a single omega, one who’s been flying under the radar since her parents never had her registered. This omega just happened to live next door to the former/dead mayor of San Diego who just so happened to claim that she is renting same mayor’s home as her 21st birthday party venue and would Terror kindly remove his alien ass out so that she could prepare for the event? The answer? NO! Well, after all, Terror is in the middle of trying to track down this omega drug ring’s leaders… and the same omega just happens to be funding the entire project from her parents’ hefty estate, one that is being controlled by her parents’ lawyer until this same omega reaches the age of majority. Man, and I thought things couldn’t get more complicated!!
Even though the Hordesmen’s leader, Prince Raven (aka “Hunger”) is still in Mexico hunting down the Fake King, he’s left Terror in charge of San Diego with orders to find the source of the illegal omega drug and to capture all those behind its conception and distribution. Easier said than done. The mayor created a secret resistance group meant to rebel against Earth’s alien overlords, and Terror is left with very little in terms of hordesmen, most just omega collectors. Will that be enough? And can he control his own urges when it comes to that great-smelling omega that lives next door to the mayor’s home when he commandeers the property for his own purposes?
I really enjoyed reading this new, original storyline. I was pleased to see familiar names as well as unfamiliar yet intriguing newcomers. This book isn’t for the fainthearted. Terror doesn’t quibble when it comes to how to punish those that really piss him off. Yes, we’re talking about stringing up your enemies on poles throughout San Diego just to get your point across. “No more Mr. Nice Guy!” I appreciated the level of research that continues to be done in the further development of world-building. This isn’t something that can be easily done, especially considering the various plots and subplots involved. Continuity is great. There is an editor involved. I love the artist who did the front cover.
I highly recommend buying not only this book but the entire universe of books as this is only one series amongst others. Definitely worth the two rereads I’ve done already!! I only wish I had a hellhound of my own!

One of my favorite lines in the book “purr for me” from an omega trying hide who she is, brilliant! The female character is a complete brat, one that makes me want to whip her parents/guardians! But even the brat makes me laugh, as does the special cookies and the password!

I absolutely love this book! There isn’t a part that I don’t like. I love this series, but this one might be my favorite one yet! The characters were realistically written, I loved their dynamics together. The plot was tight and fast-moving. The emotionalism of Tabby’s solo life really got to me. I loved the heat in this book and the fact that they built up to it. I loved the intrigue of the chase for the pill dealers. It was just an all-around good book!

The Omegaverse is definitely a concept that fascinates me. I am drawn in until I have finished the last page. The feminist in me definitely hibernates during these stories.
Very enjoyable read.
