Faith:Our story was classic.A typical fairytale. Two young kids falling in love under an onyx sky.He was my dream …and I naively thought I was his.Until he bartered our love and sold me a lie. Now, I’m returning to the life I once knew…but not as the pathetic mess that left five years ago.I’m a married woman, wed to the richest man in Nashville. But it seems I wasn’t the only one who changed during … Nashville.
But it seems I wasn’t the only one who changed during my time away…
Hardened by life, Jace Walker’s glares drip with heat and derision.
He has war in his eyes and venom in his veins.
I thought I would be safe coming back home, but it seems I only ran from my present to be caught in the crosshairs of my past.
Jace:
I traded my future for a life.
I knew what was on the line when I made the deal, I knew what I could lose, but I also knew that I didn’t really have a choice.
I gambled and lost.
Now the one person I had dreamed of having a future with was walking back into my life bearing the last name and wearing the ring of another man.
Lips painted red, hair that same honey gold and there against her creamy throat was our promise to one another, still dangling, reminding me that I may have lied, but she ran.
I was a liar, she was a coward.
Now she was home, and she wasn’t mine.

Ashley Munoz you rocked this book! Tennessee Truths was my favorite kind of romance, second chance lovers. This has to be my favorite book of Ashley’s, so dang good!
This is my first read by Ashley. I was so excited to read this book! I mean that cover is gorgeous and the blurb was amazing, I needed to know Jace and Faith’s story like NOW!
That prologue was so sweet and cute, I mean once you get past the first little bit. But to see how they started out was adorable to me. Then fast forward 5 years and everything has changed! I was like what is going on!!
But I loved Faith. Without going into too much details, I felt proud of her for being so strong to walk away. Yes she should have done it sooner but once it got really bad she left and went back to her hometown. But she wasn’t expecting to run into Jace right away. And then keep running into him. That wasn’t helpful when she was still confused with how things ended 5 years ago.
I thought Jace was just the most sweetest guy ever but booyyyy did he frustrate me! To the point that I was yelling at him haha. But I got why he was the way he was, he was just as confused as Faith was. But the way he went about it I didn’t care for.
I have to say that this book lived up to all the hype I had about it! I loved it and hated it at times but overall it was such an amazing story!! I felt the love and heartbreak and fear. Ashley is an incredible writer for making me feel all of those emotions. Her world building is some of the best!

Jace & Faith’s story starts in high school when they secretly & anonymously leave notes for each other in library books. After meeting they start a relationship and they both seem to fall fast and hard planning a life and future together until one day something tears them apart and Faith leaves.
5 years later Faith is returning to her hometown trying to get away from her seemingly perfect life and finding a way to start over and move forward when she runs into Jace who is less than happy to see her. Both broken in their own way, will they find a way back to each other or will this love of theirs destroy them both.
This story started off so strong and I found myself intrigued by how it was going to play out. It was heartbreaking at times, it was beautiful, raw, real and emotional. I really enjoyed the first half and found myself flipping through the pages super fast. It was a slow burn, enemies to lovers small town second chance romance filled with lies, deciet, passion, heat and some sweet moments as well.
I loved both Faith & Jace but they also frustrated me a lot. Both strong, independent characters but also broken and guarded and even though their riff happened when they were younger I wish both Jace & Faith would’ve stood up for themselves more and fought for what they wanted sooner. I didn’t like the lack of communication and miscommunication as well as lack of trust these two had. I understood where they were both coming from but it was hard to feel that connection for them when at 90% into the story they still kept doubting each other and letting outside influences affect how they thought and felt.
Like most small town romances this story had an assortment to side characters, some fantastic and some not so much. I loved both of their best friends especially Gemma she was amazing and we all need a Gemma in our lives. I loved Jace’s family also and I’m glad after everything he had such a great support system with what he was dealing with poor Faith didn’t have the same apart from Gemma it didn’t really seem like anyone else had her best interest at heart.
Overall I did enjoy this book and the authors writing style and cant wait to read more from her.
TW for domestic abuse
I don’t know how to put into words how perfect this story was! Faith and Jace’s story was heartbreaking and haunting yet beautiful and heartwarming at the same time. Everything that these two have to go through to find their happy ending is worth it in the end.

This is my very first book from Ashley and I am so happy that I took the plunge. I completely forgot that I signed up to be a part of her ARC team, that I also preordered the book because the blurb and all the teasers sucked me in.
FYI for those who have issues with cheating, be not afraid. That does not happen here.
This story was SLLLOOOOOOOOWWWWWWWWWWW Burn.
Faith’s strength is amazing. Everything she has gone through with men and with parents, I think would have crushed me. It didn’t for Faith.
Jace is broken. That much is clear. He is bitter and in so much pain.
This is certainly a journey of renewal and second chances. Overcoming and forgiving those who wronged you.
My only tiny tiny issue is, I wish Jace fought for Faith more. I know he has trust issues and reservations for reasons that make sense, but he gave up a bit too easily one too many times. That’s why I reduced it .25. hahaha!
I enjoyed the journey of watching these two grow so much. That love can heal just as easily as it can break you. That strength can be found when you feel your weakest.
Aaaaaaargh…. my heart hurts so bad!
SO. MUCH. ANGST.
Fuck me.
ALL THE FEELS.
Heartbreak, deception, love, lust and longing all meld together to give you one hell of an emotional read.
Probably an ugly cry for a lot of people. I was super close to tears just from the prologue.
Deserving of so much more than the 5 stars on offer
This book constantly had me on pins and needles! Spitting up with an abusive man is always a scary thing. Throw in the heartbreak of the first person you ever loved and promised forever to…. my heart was pounding. Jace really never had the confidence that he tried to pretend he had. He was so hug up in his insecurities that he was believing someone that he KNEW to be an abuser, abusers lie and manipulate everyone and everything around them to get what they want. There was a LOT of back and forth in this book. But I am not kidding when I say that I loved every single heart pounding moment, and all the other moments too. Ashley did a great job of character growth in Faith. We saw Faith is so many different stages of her life. Having gone through all that she did, the bravery she showed every time she moved right a long. Yes she had her break downs…. but she picked herself right back up and kept on pushing. I do still feel like Jace had a lot of growing to do and hopefully he will be able to learn from Faith and get his own stuff dealt with. He did begin to show that some toward the end, but really had a lot farther to go )in my opinion). Great story. Loved them so much. And I really liked Jessie and Gemma! What great friends to have around!
This is a slow burn second chance romance. I can’t put this book down as I wanted to know what’s happening… as if I’m there with them feeling every emotion and my own frustration too as will they or won’t they…
I enjoy reading this book as it made me feel every bit of my feelings. Always Ashley brings this emotion out of me.
I highly recommend Jace and Faith story. You just have to be patience… anyways patience is a virtue:)
Pip: A small hard seed in a fruit or a very attractive person or thing.
Tennessee Truths is a second chance romance between two people who fell in love as teenagers. Jace and Faith were such a cute couple as teenagers. Young and in love, but of course, obstacles get in the way, and push them apart.
Skip forward 5 years later, their reunion isn’t a pleasant one, but the attraction is still strong. Jace holds on to the past, while Faith is running from her present. They try to navigate through all the lies and deceit, and find out if their love can withstand it all.
Loved the characters and their connection. The story had plenty of angst and drama, the author was able to keep you drawn in until the end.
TENNESSEE TRUTHS by Ashley Munoz had me digging deep to keep giving Jace a chance. It’s categorized as a Bully Romance which I don’t have much experience in reading. That being said, I really enjoy Ashley’s writing and I trusted her to take care of my sensitive heart. And she did!
This is a second chance small town romance that had me in all the feels while reading it ! This story captivated and gripped me right from the start ! Jace and Faiths love is a one of a kind love a love that never dies , it’s so deep and strong it can withstand anything and they do face some hardships but what true love story doesn’t? Amazing story definite 5 stars and I highly recommend this second chance romance to anyone who is looking for a story that will give them all the feels and have them turning page after page to find out what happens in the end ! This is a definite must read !
The thing is truth always finds its way to the surface. For Faith and Jace, childhood choices and hidden secrets lead to adult messes. Getting past them and finding their way back to each other where they belong is the best of this journey.
Faith is so strong and determined, and I love that about her. While she may have become posh and proper, she holds on to her roots.
Jace’s fight to be more than what his circumstances could relegate him to is admirable and inspiring.
Ashley Munoz’s latest will not disappoint!
I received this book as an arc and I’m so grateful I signed up. This book goes from past to present from both point of views. This is a bully to lovers to hate to lovers book. I couldn’t put this book down and when I did I was craving to read more. When one night decisions are made to save one person and risks the others happiness it alters both their lives in the worst way. You go through an emotional rollercoaster knowing these two belong together but there are so many obstacles in their way.
There is a pull between them that they deny for so long and doesn’t help she’s married. I absolutely loved this book the storyline kept me going until the end where I didn’t want it to end. Once they open themselves up to each other and all the truth comes out they start to heal. This is the first book of Ashley’s and it won’t be my last that’s for sure. This is a must read and I know I will be reading it again many times over.
This book was an emotional rollercoaster from the very first page. This second chance/small town romance was pack with so much emotion and gave me all the feels.
I absolutely loved Faith’s character, how strong she was to start all over on her own and to fight for what she want it. Coming home after 5 years wasn’t easy and looking into the eyes of her first love Jace was very hard, but regardless she keep going and I keep rooting for her.
In the beginning I wasn’t a fan of Jace, he frustrated me because of how bad he treated Faith but after learning what he went trough I felt for him because he suffered so much and regardless of everything he had a good hearth and he never stop loving Faith.
Jace and Faith’s story wasn’t a pretty one. There was so much hurt from both of their parts but their journey coming together a second time was beautiful.
If you enjoy second chances at love then this is the book for you.
Ohh, This book! Tennessee Truths is a is book that touches your soul! It was a beautiful read with so many good memories and heartache! It’s my favorite kind of read, a first love that starts at the beginning when the characters are young. A school crush on the cute bully boy. The passing notes on library books! I can’t describe just how wonderful that was, it really touched my tweenage heart! I swooned so hard! Where were these kinds of boys when I was in school? There is so much about this book I loved! Faith and Jace had something really special, a once in a lifetime, the heart knows, true love kind of love that is so deep in your bones. This story has a lot of hard lessons and it delivers the cold harsh reality of a very serious topic. Tennessee Truths was a very emotional read full of angst, and it had a devastating twist! Faith is a remarkable character, one I won’t forget anytime soon. This book is hard on the heart, so many secrets! Jace drove me crazy, he is wounded and lashes out so much he acts like a grade-A prick. He is very insecure and often gave up so quickly, yes, this story is very brutal on your heart. All the other characters and relationships were so well written. Both Faith and Jace love with their whole souls. I loved them so hard. Everyone needs a friend like Gemma! Faith’s parents were a garbled up mess of tough love, no communication, and heartache. It was all very raw and that twist of betrayal wrecked me! Tennessee Truths was a phenomenal read and I’m so happy I found a new author. I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.
4.5 Pip Stars!!
After reading The Rest Of Me last year I couldn’t wait to pick up more of Ms.Munoz’s books! So the second that the synopsis for this book caught my eye I knew that I needed it to be the next one I picked up! This story consumed my thoughts from beginning to end. I stayed up all night reading it and I loved it!
Jace and Faith’s journey wasn’t an easy one. The realness of their emotions shined through every page turn and their connection touched my heart deeply. I felt absolutely everything under the sun with these characters!
I loved how through their history I connected with them even more.
With Tennessee Truths, Ms.Munoz grabbed my heart and didn’t let go! She created an original read with ALL the feels! Her words hit me right in the chest in such a way that I’ll never, ever forget. This is a favorite of 2020 for me! I am so excited to read more of her books in the future!
*I volunteered to read and review a copy of this book from Wildfire Marketing Solutions / the author*
I have to say that this book has ALL the feels. The raw emotions. The angst. Absolutely everything. I adore second chance romance stories and what Munoz gives us with this tale is absolutely stunning. I held my breath, I swooned, I giggled and I wanted to cry! There was an amazing range of emotions through this whole story that kept me totally captivated. The concept of the story was amazing and kept me fully engaged throughout. This is my second book by this author and she is worth the read! Snag it up!
Powerful, Heartbreaking, and a Must Read! This is my first book by this author. I was shocked and wowed by Ashley Munoz’s writing. The blurb is what caught my attention at first and after the first couple of chapters, I was blown away by how much I was sucked in by these characters.
Faith and Jace. OMG. This author has a knack for painful, real love stories that never fail to surprise in the best way. The emotional pull is strong, and the stakes high. There was nothing about this second-chance story I didn’t adore.
Tennessee Truths is a perfect example of why I love Ashley Munoz. Everything about this book was perfect. Munoz has once again left me feeling everything and needing more. Jace and Faith were just amazing. When I start an Ashley Munoz ‘book I have high expectations, and I swear with each book she exceeds them and raises the bar higher for the next one. I was hooked from the first page to the last page. The only reason I stopped reading this book is because my eyes just wouldn’t stay open anymore.
Faith Vanderson is running back to the one place she had no intention of every going back to. Five years ago she left Collierville Tennessee with a broken heart, and landed in the arms of Tennessee’s richest bachelor. Her life became diamond rings and paparazzi. To the outside world it looked like she had it all, but sunglasses hide more than the sun. The once strong, fierce, sassy girl is no more.
Jace Walker finally has his life in order. He’s running his own garage and building his future. He’s spent the last five years angry and bitter. He’s never gotten over Faith, but learned to live without her. Jace is no longer the boy he was five years ago.
When they come face to face Jace and Faith are viatole from the very first second they reunited and grew more so with each time they saw each other. I was on the edge of my seat waiting for when they are in love with each other. Both are so blinded by anger from their past they can’t see what’s right in front of them.I could not stop reading. I HAD to know what happened next.
I love second chance romance because they are filled with just so much emotion both happy and sad. I love then I can feel their emotions and Munoz does this with Tennessee Truths. I don’t think there was a single moment in this book where I didn’t feel what these characters were feeling.
Tennessee Truths is filled betrayal and lies, it seemed as if every person had something they were hiding. Munoz reminds us that things are not always as they look from the outside, and also that our decisions have consequences that affect not only us but those we love the most.
Tennessee Truths is a beautifully well written book, that he me completely captivated and left me in emotional turmoil. These characters are absolutely amazing and I couldn’t help but love them. Everything about this book is perfect! I cannot recommend this book enough!!
