It’s the hottest summer on record, but that heat has nothing to do with the temperature that rises whenever these two are in the same room together. The shimmering mirage that can almost be seen in the air around them cannot be explained away so easily. He’d waited almost two years for her, and now he can wait no more. But she’s still skittish, they come from two different worlds after all, and … and she’s constantly reminded of how much better he can do by all the hangers on that are waiting in the wings.
When she was transferred to a better school in a wealthier part of Memphis, Annabelle thought all she had to do was keep her grades up and get into a good college. That was her only way out of the rundown drug infested neighborhood that she was dying to escape.
She was not prepared for the infighting and backstabbing that ensued when the wealthy debutante set at her new school felt threatened by her brains and beauty. And things only got worst when the coveted Chase Worthington set his sights on her.
Teenage angst and a life spent hearing from her own mother that she was never going to amount to anything held Annabelle back from believing that Chase Worthington could have any real interest in her. He’s rich, handsome and an all around nice guy, no way could he want a girl like her from the gritty side of the city.
Chase knows he’s fighting an uphill battle to win her over, but he’s willing to pull out all the stops. But there’s one thing trying to stand in his way, one hanger on who thinks that she’s more deserving to be on his arm and there’s nothing this spoilt little debutante won’t do to get ‘her’ man.

I’m a huge fan of this author and she has yet again not disappointed me in delivering a hot as hell story! I loved Chase and Belle together, especially the steamy scenes 😉 Go check this one out because you definitely won’t regret doing so 🙂
I liked the character and storyline. While it was we;; written; it felt like something didn’t quite jive. Maybe I’m missing something. All in all it was a good read
Cute read, my first by this pen name and I’ll likely read more. Not as steamy or alpha as the Jordan Silver Books but still a great read!!!
This book was a fun read with everything I want and need in a book. They are from different backgrounds and yet find a way to each other their love. It has angst, it has suspense, and it has a HEA. The writing sucks you in from begging to end. I loved this book.

I think in the begin of this book the heroine was really weak and didn’t know how to stand up for herself but if you keep read this book I think you going to really start like her it was a really great and I love this book

Annabelle comes from a dysfunctional home but that doesn’t stop the goodness of her heart or Chase and how he feels for her. Chase is biding his time for when he can approach Annabelle. He is way older but his heart is all in when it comes to her. When he takes Annabelle home he didn’t know just how bad her living conditions were. He knew what he wanted to do but his girl is stubborn and prideful. Now he has everything planned out, his girl where he wants her but there are those who thinks she doesn’t belong with him. Will he be able to keep her safe and out of the hands of those who want to harm her and pull her down?

I received the ARC for this book and loved it. It was a little long but the characters were well developed. There was teenage angst, insta love, crazy jealous background characters, and of course, a HEA.

Annabelle knows that life isn’t sunshine and lollipops. Her mom is an alcoholic, bitter and difficult. So Annabelle has to work at a grocery store when she isn’t at school to keep the bills paid. She worked hard, knowing her ticket out of the rough neighborhood she grew up in was to get into college. Too bad no one told her that without silly things like band or something, colleges weren’t interested. Silly girl, needing to eat on the regular instead of cheer on the football team. So with her best friend leaving for college, she attends a party hoping that her bestie’s older brother Chase will be there. It will probably be the last chance to see him. She has been attracted to him for so long but knows she has no chance. He will be steered towards a girl of his same social class and never go for a girl from the wrong side of the tracks. Chase has been counting down the days when he could finally ask Annabelle to be his. He wouldn’t let his thoughts even contemplate making a move until she was eighteen. With her distrust of men and her issues with her background, he will have his work cut out for him. Can Chase convince Annabelle that all he wants is her by his side and his ring on her finger?
I was completely consumed by Tennessee Heat! I stayed up way too late when I had to work the next morning but I had to finish it, I had to know how it would all work out. The characters felt real, especially Annabelle’s ideas about social standing and such. You are in her head for the beginning of the story so her viewpoint is justified. Chase is so careful in the beginning, not wanting to move too fast or be too intense. When he wins her trust, he quickly maneuvers her into his world. I really loved these two. I felt like I got to experience their relationship develop and solidify. Cami York is now on my list of authors to follow and I can’t wait for more stories from her!
I loved the story. It draws you in and doesn’t let you go. Sometimes wanted to just jump in and snatch someone up. Overall I loved the story and the characters. Jordan Silver does it again.

I was sucked into this one. I did not want to put it down, I just had to keep forging on to see if Annabelle would give into her heart and take the happiness that she so deserved. Living a life on the wrong side of town, having to fear walking down the street to your front door, and then even the daily dealings with an unloving mother, is just a hint of Belle’s daily life. But she has some sun in her life, her bff Kimmy, and the feelings that she has for Kimmy’s brother Chase. There has been a connection between the two and now with her eighteenth birthday gone, and her high school years over some of her sun is going away. Chase has a plan, it’s now time to claim his girl, he has wanted his Belle for too long and now is the perfect time to finally make her “MINE”. Love this one and I can’t wait to read more from Cami!!

Review I’ve been waiting for this story to be complete! This was quite hard to read at times. There is one particularly long and difficult scene in this book. Chase is not quite as alpha as her usual H’s, but he definitely demonstrates that towards the end. Annabelle is a bit hard to like, she finally comes into her own and stands up for herself.
Tennessee Heat
I love this slow burn story, characters have grown up together in a way of friendship but it became more, Chase knew what he wanted when he met Annabelle but she’s different, she was a bit insecure about her life and where she grew up but Chase has more than made up for it. He’s crazy about her and would do just about anything for Annabelle, they’re perfect for one another
While not my favorite book by this author (I’ve only read one of her other pen names up till now)I did like this one. The main characters where likable and the villains were easy to hate. There was a lot of angst which isn’t really my cup of tea. The story definitely is not realistic in the least that’s why it’s called fiction. I love over the top stories so if that’s your thing also you may like this story as much as I did. Enjoy!
