Holy hell, this book made me uncomfortable in that way only an amazing dark read can.
Kitty Thomas’ writing is absolutely amazing in this book. She really takes you on a journey that is at times disturbing, shocking, dreadful, misguided, worrying and yet also filled with passion, tenderness and hope. In Asher and Grace she has created two …
Kitty’s Mercies still feel Tender the second time.
I find that re-reading her stories still make me feel the same about them.
Still make me love them all.
Just like dark chocolate,i am addicted to them.
This story is about Grace, who has a deep need to be owned by her very own Master.
And knowing there is an island, where that wish could …
Asher and Grace’s story was interesting
Hmmm. How should I feel about this book? This book was unique as are all of Kitty Thomas’s books. Grace wants, no needs to be someone’s slave 24/7 but her experience in the kink community just didn’t feel real. However, there is an island where extreme ownership is a reality. Lucas is a master on the …
Dark and intense BDSM tale that made me uncomfortable but I also couldn’t wait to see what would happen next. If you like your stories disturbing you have found your next read.
This was a book that had me at the opening chapter and kept me engrossed all the way through.
A deeply satisfying story of love between a master and slave that, while not enchanting in the conventional fairytale sense of the word, enchanted me nonetheless. The explorations into the darkness within the characters and the way boundaries between …
Interesting…..
Asher decides to discipline his unruly slave by his friends hand and it goes horribly wrong. Grace takes off for an island to give up all her rights over to a man she has been corresponding with via the internet for a year and it goes horribly wrong -stage set and go!
The story explores how the these two overcome their horribly …
I’ve read this book so many times and it makes me FEEL so many things. If you like dark erotic literature, this is the book for you. Kitty Thomas is a truly talented writer.
I feel the writer was restricted, her thought cut short perhaps the editors. She touched on topics that are still widely frowned on so I guess its understandable..
I bought the book because of the good reviews. At first I didn’t care for the story, a lot of character building. But then it got really interesting, I didn’t want to stop reading, and took every spare moment to read the story. No spoiler alerts here, but you won’t be disappointed!
“We can deny what we are, but it won’t go away.”
Well damn! This was a tough read.
Another reviewer said they hated it and they loved it and every emotion in between. And that about sums it up.
Grace puts herself in a stupid, dangerous situation and pays the price. This will be too much for some readers.
A standalone book about a special kind of island where laws about property are a bit different then the rest of the world.
It is a tale about abuse, trust, hope and love and embracing who you are.
This book has been sitting on my TBR since 2017 and I’m not sure why I have not read it?
I will first start off that I absolutely, 100%, severely dislike Lucas. Never has a written character created that much anger in me while reading a story.
Now Asher, here is a man with the patience of a saint, but too many demons in his closet, especially with …
Wow! I really enjoyed this book. It was dark and depraved at times, mostly because Lucas was a complete psycho! I loved Asher and Grace. They fit together like two puzzle pieces. It took a little work to get them interlocking, but once done, they were inseparable. It pained me to think they may not have a happily ever after. This was an …
This book is beyond amazing, I absolutely loved it and couldn’t put it down. I love all of Kitty’s books but this one is my new favorite! I loved everything about it and felt so at peace for Grace and Asher in the end.
If you’re a fan of Broken Dolls and Kitty Thomas then this book is for you. This is not for everyone. It has a Sadism Owner and another owner that link dressing his girls in costumes. He calls her kitten and like to dress her to look like one.
This was a good read a bit twisted at times but enjoyed it.
Great story written well. I read all the books would read more. Good endings
