Annabelle Murphy specializes in treating post-traumatic stress disorders in soldiers. She’s seen her share of damaged souls and knows personally how left untreated, the world around you can come crashing down. When Patrick Connors, the only survivor of a chopper crash, walks into her office, everything she thought she knew about pain changes. Trick knows he’s broken. Nightmares and guilt are his … guilt are his constant companions. Pain, delivered by willing participants at an underground club, The Den, are his only saving grace and relief. That is, until the night he finds himself alone in a room with the last woman he ever thought needed his help, his understanding, his touch.
Can either of them be saved by the other before it’s too late? Before time’s up?

This was an intense and passionate book. It was a gripping tale of love and passion. I truly loved this book. I voluntarily read and reviewed this book in exchange for a free copy.
this book is a doctor/patient romance. Trick is a vet that suffers from PTSD (and by they get it right! Ms. Windsor either did her reasearch or knows first hand how bad PTSD in soilders really is). Annabelle is the therapist he sees who trys so hard not to act on her feelings and impulses but gets to a point that she cares so much she cant help but react when he shows up with blood on him.

I just love this series. This is not your every day romance fluff. This is an unusual in print, real life relatable love story with grit, troubled characters, raw emotions, a few BDSM scenes, family and friends, bound together with love and respect. This is heart felt and I can’t wait for the next book in the series.
Tempting Tricks by Michelle Windsor. As a wife of a PTSD veteran, this story line intrigued me from the start. I appreciated the way he chooses to “deal” with his issue (wish mine did that). Seriously though- I enjoyed this story and thought the characters and plot were solid and I recommend to others.

This is a well written book with strong characters who are dealing with some touchy issues. The author does a fantastic job building and moving the story , filling it with tons of emotions and a steamy passion. I enjoyed and would recommend this book.

Wow, this is the first time I have read this author and I am hooked. I have found out that this is book two in the Tempting series but I found that I was okay reading them out of order. I am sure by reading these in order you will get more of the hidden ques that the author may leave but I did not feel like I missed a thing. I loved the characters and the story that they told. PTSD is not a topic that is to be taken lightly and thankfully it is getting more widely accepted and treated. This is such a sensitive topic and this author handles it beautifully. We get to meet Dr. Annabelle Murphy who specializes in PTSD in soldiers. Through Annabelle’s practice we get to meet Patrick (Trick) who is experiencing PTSD as he is the only survivor of a helicopter crash. I do not want to disclose any book details and potentially provide any spoilers to anyone. All I can say is that this book took my breath away. It is as heartbreaking as it is joyful and holy steaminess. Annabelle and Patrick have chemistry in abundance and it is craftily written into each and every word the author uses to describe the layers of the characters and their road to their new normal and HEA.

This book is full of intrigue, discovery, learning, healing, romance and hot steamy sex! Annabelle helps treat soldiers with PTSD but when she meets Trick she may have met her match.

A steamy read about 2 people who are dealing with PTSD from different angles. It was interesting to read Trick’s and Belle’s story and how they helped each other resolve their issues.

This is the first book I have read by this author and I loved every page. I liked that Patrick and Annabelle both had something similar in common. I also enjoyed that they both had feelings for each other but held back. The chemistry between the two was sooooo good. I am glad that they were able to help each other find a way past their demons. I enjoyed the buildup and how when they started they didn’t keep backing away from each other.I am glad that the trials of a veteran/active military were shown to some extend. I have already purchased the first book in this series because I loved this one so much. I will be reading it again.

This as a very emotional and super steamy read. I liked both characters and enjoyed their chemistry. The whole patient/therapist made everything just a bit more forbidden and a lot more hot. Getting inside Trick’s head made a really good book also gripping and raw.
Captivating storyline and characters
This is a very compelling story with a heavy dose of BDSM. Belle and Patrick are both victims of PTSD and Belle is actually his psychiatrist in the beginning. The story addresses behavior common with PTSD and the resulting dysfunctional behavior. Very good read with many steamy scenes.

I just loved this book it is the second book in the series and is another fantastic read. This is Trick and Annabelle’s story these two meet when he turns up for help with his PTSD she knows from her first meeting with him that there is something different about him and she does try to keep it professional but when she realises he is still fighting she wants to know why. I liked these two they are both damaged in different ways but the chemistry between them was scorching hot. A super read I just loved it
Yet another one that slams it out of the park. A little darker than any other book that I’ve read from Windsor but just as delicious. Cannot recommend it any HIGHER!
FABULOUS!
Flipping amazing with page turning twists that had me hungry and eager to lap them up getting me emotionally invested enjoying the drama as the storyline unfolded with lip smacking hot chemistry that had me drooling for a taste! An amazing must read that is well written and impossible to put down!
A hot sexy read. Live Patrick and Belle’s story. Love how she helps him with his ptsd and gives him the love and support he needs. Love how Patrick loves Belle with all his heart and how he expresses his love.
Favorite quote: Patrick to Belle ~ “I’ve been waiting my whole god damn life for you, and I didn’t even know it.”… “I’m done waiting.”
I was really curious to see how the author would take this from a doctor/patient relationship to something more, especially given I’ve worked as a therapist in the past. The author did a great job with it, though there’s more than just transferring the patient to another doctor according to the ethics board, but I think the way it was done in the book is realistic.
I appreciated the very real PTSD symptoms that Trick had and the reason why. I liked that Bella had her own issues and that the author didn’t make her the “perfect” solution to his problems.
My only hesitation (the reason it dropped from 4 stars to 3) was the sudden explanation of Trick working as an escort. I’m sorry…what? Why wasn’t this an issue between him and Bella? Why was this not really discussed anywhere in the book except in passing? I think the author took for granted that the reader would have read the entire series to know Trick’s back story but I didn’t and it left me feeling lost.

You can’t go wrong with this author and with this series. My heart bleeds for Patrick. Belle, who looks collected on the outside is hiding some pain too. The attraction and chemistry between them is undeniable. Their story is heartfelt. Their characters will make you empathize. The steamy sex is a bonus. This book is lovingly-written and very much a pleasure to read. [I received an advanced copy of this book and voluntarily chose to review it.]
