With wonderful characters and incredible scenes both action and sexy the books are hard to put down. Tempting the Heiress continues with the 5-stars just as the previous royal stories have.
Neela Wellbrook has been given custody of Mayzie, her best friend’s baby. With Willa’s death Neela is overwhelmed with sorting out life with a new baby, trying to keep her own business afloat, dealing with Willa’s art gallery and now trying to figure out and decode a ledger that Willa left for her. Finding out that her gorgeous manny Jax is really part of a security team breaks all the trust that Neela had left. Now Neela, Jax and Mayzie are forced to run because someone is determined to get Neela and Mayzie because of the shady dealings that Willa was involved in. Jax is determined to keep the girls safe, not because they are his job but because he has fallen in love with Neela and sees Mayzie as his own. In the process of trying to get back into the Royal guard which he thought was his family, Jax has come to realize that the two girls are real his family. Now with Neela feeling betrayed and the bullets flying Jax must find a way of Tempting the Heiress back into his arms without getting them all killed.
Tempting the Heiress by Nana Malone is book 2 in the Heiress Duet, and you really need to read Protecting the Heiress first.
Once again Nana Malone has crafted a story full of drama, mystery, so many crazy shocking twists and turns that had me on the edge of my seat. And we get to see the royals we’ve grown to love from previous books. I love how she ties them all together, perfectly!!!
Jax and Neela are brilliantly written!! I LOVE both these characters. So much raw tension, and emotion between them.
I absolutely LOVED this duet, and highly recommend it!
The Heiress Duet series is my favorite by this author. Okay, so after each one I read I might say that. But no, really. This one is it! Tempting the Heiress is the conclusion and what an ending! The trust that was broken is hard to forgive and the danger is lurking at every corner.
My heart broke for Neela with all the obstacles she faced. I just wanted everything to be okay between her and Jax. Little Mayzie was adorable, and you wanted to fight to protect her as well. The mystery, the danger, the anxiety of watching everything unfold, had me on the edge of my seat. There were surprises that I can’t get in to and “oh no!” moments that had me holding my breath.
I love how all the characters are connected or we’ve met before and get to see how their lives are progressing, but I am most especially happy about the ones we are left wondering about and what their futures hold.
This author writes royals like no other. Nana Malone is the Queen of Royals in my book.
Nana Malone doesn’t disappoint in this conclusion of her duet. She always involves elements of suspense, steaminess, and an amazing plot to go with it. Her characters have their backgrounds that they have overcome. The plot is always tricky and as twists and turns you don’t expect. This author never disappoints in any book by her.
Jax and Neela’s story continues. They are interesting and full of pasta and situations that have made them into the people they are today. In this book, they are working towards a decision about their relationship. They have to face challenges, but they know what they want and are going to get it.
Nina Malone writes another amazing book that Involves everything you want in a romance. Read this book, after you buy Protecting the Heiress. You won’t regret it!!
Absolutely spectacular! I loved it better than the first book in the series. It was intriguing, hot, suspenseful and it kept me talking to myself from beginning to end. I was definitely invested in the characters good and bad. Willia is a lousy human being. I worshipped Neela because she was kicka$$ bad. I know that Jax was bada$$ too but his most sexy quality was his adoration for baby Mayzie. I’m so excited about the next series which is Ariel and Tristan’s adventure. I loved watching Jax trying to win Neela’s heart. He’s definitely a man that is swoon worthy.
This is a great conclusion to their story.
We jump right back in to where we finish in the last book and I have to say it is all action and sexual frustration as Jax tries to make things right while Neela tries to come to term with the lies and pressure to crack the code. The twists and surprises don’t stop coming and there are some nail biting moments. It’s great that Seb and the others are still around and we see their underlying story continue and have to say I like the new team Ariel is putting together. Now gimme the next book I want it now!!!!
Tempting the Heiress is the conclusion of Neela and Jax’s story. It starts off pretty much where book 1 leaves off with the realization that Jax is not who he says he is. The book twists and turns with Jax sound everything in his power to keep Neela and Mayzie safe. As Jax and Neela are on the run a huge bombshell is revealed that I was not expecting. As Neela battles with her inner turmoil, her and Jax become closer. The deception on the part of the newcomer is revealed and you really ache for Mayzie and Neela. You are at the point where you see the happier ever after coming and then another obstacle is thrown up..Jax and Neela eventually resolve their issues and all ends well. I am absolutely bouncing with excitement on the teaser at the end..I cannot wait to get my hand on Ariel’s story…FINALLY!
Surprise, surprise, surprise. This book is full of surprises. Some good, some not so good. Some not so surprising.
Jax and Neela surprised me in some respects. They are so different and yet they work. But when the danger is gone will they still work? Only time will tell.
And the lead in at the end of the book for the next series has me drooling. The Prince Duet is going to be HOT, HAUTE, HAWT!!!!!!
This is the second book in the Heiress Duet, and a great conclusion to the duet! The story is beautifully well written, with great characters, amazing chemistry, and a suspenseful storyline. Jax, Neela’s story is captivating, fast-paced and action packed. I love Mayzie, the little one. Now, I can wait for Return of the Prince Duet!
This is the perfect ending for Jax and Neela’s story. This story is full of suspense, love, passion, intrigue, action, passion, incredible surprises, and unexpected events that will keep you at the edge of your seat. You will simply stay glued to this story until the very end and it will leave you wanting more of this amazing characters right away.
Jax has cross all the lines and broken all the rules, he has fallen for his client and is madly in love with her mom. Been a bodyguard that is the worst thing that could happen, but he will do anything to protect the girls in his life even with his own life. Neela will prove that she is stronger and more resourceful that what she seems and will fight for what is hers.
Both will work toward their ultimate desire/goal, but once they reach it will that be truly what they want or will they discover along the way what they really need.
Nana has done it again. Can’t wait to see what is next with the gang of the Winston Isles and the King Knights.
Don’t even try to read this book as a standalone. You have to have read Protecting the Heiress to follow what’s happening through this story. I admit that I liked this book so much better than book 1. The characters filled out a bit more & there was unexpected drama that I didn’t see coming. I can understand that it probably won’t be to everyone’s liking, but I love the snippets you get from other characters that we’re familiar with from other books. I feel it makes it more real – nothing happens in a vacuum so why should books?
Tempting the Heiress picks up right where Protecting the Heiress left off, with Neela upset and Jax trying to figure out what to do. Will these two ever be on the same page? And what of Jax’ ultimate goal of re-joining the Royal Guard? Can he do that AND have his family of Neela and Mayzie?
I SOOO LOVE Nana Malone’s royal stories, and I think this duet is probably her best royal story yet. Jax and Neela are such a dynamic, passionate couple. Plus there’s suspense and some intrigue mixed in with Jax and Neela’s intense chemistry, AND Ariel and Trace and the king and the queen and the prince are all in the mix, too. And whew, then that very last part that sets up Ariel’s story. Dang, I’ve wanted her story since the royal saga began and now it looks like I’m going to get it. Can’t wait!
Oh my gosh! This book really kept me on the edge of my seat! It is book 2 in Neela and Jax’s story and we finally get to see what happens after the cliffhanger of book 1. We go from crazy hotness to trust issues with Jax to him trying to earn that trust back, plus all kinds of other crazy stuff. I cannot wait to see what happens in the next one!
Tempting the Heiress by Nana Malone was an action-packed awesome read! This is the second book in the Heiress Duet series. I couldn’t put my kindle down as until I finished reading this book. I have read quite a number of this author’s books and she hasn’t disappointed me yet!
Tempting the Heiress begins where the previous book in this series left off. Neela has finally found out the truth and that Jax has lied to her. Jax now has the task of telling Ariel that Neela has found out the truth about the reason he really was there to protect her and daughter Mayzie. Neela feels like Jax and the rest of the Guard has betrayed her by not telling her the truth. Now they need to find out why someone tried to kidnap Mayzie.
Does Neela forgive Jax for lying to her? Will Neela and Jax get their happy ever after? You will have to read Tempting the Heiress by Nana Malone to find out! This book has everything that a romance reader would want in a romance novel. Tempting the Heiress has some suspense, romance, and plenty of love scenes. Nana Malone doesn’t disappoint at all! The readers will also get a chance to catch up with the other characters from the previous book in the series.
Make sure to get a copy of Tempting the Heiress by Nana Malone. You are definitely in for a treat with this book!

This book picks up right where book 1 left us. Neela has just found out that Jax really isn’t a manny and Ariel doesn’t really run a nanny service. While Neela is rightfully pissed about not knowing this, she does realize quite begrudgingly that Mayzie needs protection she’s just incredibly hurt that Jax lied to her. But get ready, because there is going to be a pretty big shock coming to you!
This has some twists and turns that I didn’t expect at all but kept me flipping the pages. I don’t want to give away all the excitement but there’s Jax and Neela and….. not to mention King Sebastian and his Knights of the roundtable. The ending leaves me hoping that Ariel is next! Another great read by Nana Malone!

This is the second part to the Heiress duet (book 1 reviewed here). While many of Ms Malone’s characters mix between books, the two books in this duet do work without reading the rest (although the to books in this duet do not stand alone from each other).
We ended book 1 with Neela finding out that Jax was not a nanny, and Ariel did not run a nanny company but they are a security team. This book picks up exactly where that one ended, with the aftermath of that discovery. After arguing about the situation, Neela soon realized that Mayzie does need the protection of Jax and Royal Elite. Neela and her team are trying to decipher the ledger that Willa left to her, and the threat to her and to Mayzie intensifies. But at the same time, more develops with Jax.
This was a fun, action packed read with several twists. It’s part suspense, part romance, but is also a story of family. Neela must learn hard truths about the family that raised her after her parents died. Jax must learn what family really means to him. Ariel must learn that family is determined by more than blood ties.
There is a secondary plot line revolving around King Sebastian that threads through several books, and continues in this one. I am interested in seeing how it plays out. The ending of this book sets up the next duet nicely, too, raising interest but not a cliffhanger.
