Come and meet the Domme of Stronghold… It takes a strong man to win the heart of an even stronger woman.Luke Evans is a confident, commanding man who happens to really like a bossy woman in the bedroom, so it’s no surprise when he’s immediately drawn to Stronghold’s bossiest Domme, Olivia Williams. Unfortunately for him, while he’s just Olivia’s type in a lot of ways, she’s not happy that he’s … she’s not happy that he’s in a position of professional power over her, a decision she was not privy to when it was made. She’s determined not to mix business with pleasure, no matter how appealing putting Luke Evans on his knees in front of her would be. But Luke’s just as much a go-getter as Olivia and he’s perfectly happy to join the class of new submissives in order to show her just how far he’s willing to go.
When it becomes clear Olivia has attracted the attention of someone else – and not in a good way – the tension among the entire Stronghold group goes through the roof and Luke can’t help but feel protective no matter how Olivia resists him.
With two strong personalities both used to winning, who will come out on top in the end?

Book 7, Stronghold Doms. Golden Angel’s glimpse into the world of BDSM through the eyes of a Domme and her sub is fascinating!
SPOILER ALERT: THIS IS BOOK #7 IN THE STRONGHOLD DOMS SERIES. IF YOU HAVE NOT READ THE PRIOR BOOKS IN THE SERIES, THIS REVIEW MAY CONTAIN SPOILERS.
It took years but Luke Evans and Olivia Williams finally learned what they wanted from life. When the two finally meet, the mutual attraction is undeniable. Even so, there are oh, so many obstacles in their path. Luke’s a silent partner in Marquis, the very exclusive new BDSM club started by the owners of Stronghold. Olivia is Marquis’ new manager. A relationship with a co-worker? Not in Olivia’s wildest dreams! From all appearances, Luke’s strong, confident, totally in control. Olivia’s the ultimate control freak. She’s a Domme, after all. How do two people with diametrically opposite lives connect? But Luke has a secret. When he enrolls in the new submissive class at Marquis, Olivia’s carefully controlled world is thrown into chaos. How does she deal with this? Luke, a submissive? This can’t possibly be true, right? It’s a prank. It has to be! As she and Luke dance around each other, each at cross purposes, there’s much more at stake than a conflicted Domme/sub relationship. Unknown to Olivia, she’s in danger. Only who’s behind the threats? Why? What possible motive could anyone have to harm her? When the threats bring out Luke’s protective nature, Olivia’s pulls farther away. She doesn’t need a man, particularly Luke, to take care of her. But when the danger escalates, Olivia can’t dismiss it as some isolated nut case anymore. When the perpetrator makes his boldest move yet, Olivia’s in mortal peril. Will her stubbornness, refusal to accept help, be her downfall? Is there anything that can save her? Or will she finally realize her strength doesn’t mean she has to go it alone?
In this latest in the Stronghold Doms series, Golden Angel’s brought the Domme/male sub dynamic to life in a special way. I haven’t read many books where the female is the dominant and the male is the submissive, perhaps due to my own submissive tendencies. That’s not to say I don’t accept this particular dynamic. I just never thought it could hold my interest. But I was wrong. Golden Angel’s created a story that brings this dynamic to life in a very compelling manner. Luke and Olivia are utterly fascinating. The struggles with which they deal are real in every imaginable way. It’s not just about Luke submitting to Olivia. Their potential relationship is fraught with all kinds of barriers, from the perceived conflicts on both sides, to Luke’s struggle with his submissive tendencies, the reality of what being a submissive truly is, to Olivia’s conflicted response to Luke in nearly every possible way. Instead of being unable to identify with these characters, I found myself pulled into their story and becoming a part of their lives. The supporting characters are a real treat. The sense of love and community within their BDSM “family” is extraordinarily written. Golden Angel obviously knows her subject matter, and it shows. She’s created a story that’s not just captivating. For me to love this story, to find these two characters as captivating as I did, is a true accomplishment. Thank you, Golden Angel, for creating an exceptional story that captives and enthralls!
One final note. Be an informed reader! This is an ADULT book. It contains explicit language and sexual scenes. If you don’t enjoy this genre, this may not be the book for you. There are book synopses and reviews available on Goodreads and all booksellers’ websites. Use these resources. DON’T LEAVE A NEGATIVE REVIEW WHEN YOU KNOW YOU WON’T ENJOY THE BOOK. It’s not fair to the author. She works very hard to provide a quality work product. If you know you’ll object to the book’s subject matter before you buy it, you’re doing yourself and the author an extreme disservice.
Thanks for reading my review and happy reading!
I’m not very good at writing but for this book i feel the need to try. It’s so well writen that i feel conected to the characteres. Everyone should read this storie to understand that you can let go and surrender control without beeing a wuss. And i fell for Luke…. I need a Luke in my life!!!
I love all of Golden Angel’s books, but the characters of her Stronghold series are my favorites.
A great Erotic romance with a fem domme and male submissive, my fave combo! Loved this one
Wow, 5 stars just because I would have sworn blind I wouldn’t enjoy a Domme book
I love the Stronghold Doms series, with their well written, steamy, humorous and believable kink stories. However I had avoided this story because I wasn’t sure how I would ever find a submissive man sexy or a be able to connect to a strong and feisty Domme. Well I’m here to tell you that Golden Angel managed to do just that in Tempting the Dom .
Luke never once came across as wimpy or unsexy, even during his submission he was hot, sexy and gorgeous. Olivia was such a caring, warm and loving character that again she defied my expectations and I totally believed in her.
There was a stalker after her, a club to run, and her new submissive
was also her boss…. but f**k all that. Olivia was the Queen of Peen.
This pair shared some very realistic struggles, had lots of hot chemistry and totally drew me into their story. I adored this couple, worried alongside Luke for Olivia’s safety, loved their intimate scenes and was totally rooting for them to get their HEA.
So if you love a good BDSM romance then I highly recommend this. And if you’re sat on the fence, wondering if you could enjoy a book where the heroine is a Domme, then let this book open your eyes.
I was very surprised to really like this story of a hot sexy Dominatrix getting to play
with the sub of her desires. Luke, a really sexy man and sort of Olivia’s boss, wants
to submit to the sexy redheaded Domme. As Olivia takes Luke through the paces of submitting in her submissives training class at Marquis, the new BDSM Club, Luke is realizing this exactly what he wants, a woman to take control in the bedroom. I was really concerned about reading about a man submitting to a woman. I worried it would be embarassing and he might be shamed, but Golden Angel wrote it with heart and understanding.
Now that I am comfortable with the Domme subject, I can now read other books
with this subject matter with more confidence that it could really be done with
class and consideration of a man’s pride in getting what he personally prefers
with a woman in the bedroom.
I am looking forward to the next book I hope is about Jake and Sharon!
There aren’t that many F/m books out there or I just haven’t read many of them. I was looking forward to reading Olivia’s story, I liked her from the beginning.
There is a unique dynamic in these relationships. There is a different feel to it, while the main and important part of all relationships like trust, respect and love are the same.
I loved how the books showed their emotions and their struggles. Not just Luke who is struggling with his feelings of submission, but also Olivia about what she want and if things will works out. Yes Dommes have doubts too.
And it was also great to see the love and support of their friends and catching up with them.
Golden Angel has created a fun and kinky world in her Stronghold Doms series. It’s nice to see a whole group of friends who are supportive of each other and their kinks and feelings. Olivia has been one of the members of that group and she’s been a stable member of the group and has helped more than one couple get together. There is one way that Olivia stands out from the other women in her group. She’s not a sub, she’s a Domme.
When some of the guys in her friend group open a new club, Marquis, she’s hired in to manage the club part of that. That means she has a lot of contact with Luke, a silent partner and the person who did all the reno work on the building. They are attracted to each, but Olivia is pretty sure that it’s not going to work because she thinks he’s a dominant person, and she doesn’t do dominant guys. When she finds out that he’s a sub, then it’s even harder to fight off the attraction, but she sees him as her boss, and you just don’t play where you work.
I loved this story. It’s nice to see a well done F/m story. There aren’t as many of them as there are M/f, which is too bad. It’s a pretty hot dynamic, and Golden Angel has written a hot and sexy story and a strong love story. Definitely, a great read and I’m glad to have read it. My biggest problem with it? Olivia calls Luke Cupcake and that made me hungry.
I was looking forward to hearing Olivia’s story and it was só worth it! She has the entire Stronghold group “helping” her find her happy after. Because she struggles against the strong attraction she feels towards her boss (silent partner at the new club they’re starting, called Marquis) Luke. But Luke doesn’t give up that easy and with the help he gets from his new friends,he slowly makes his way into her heart. And his submission to her…..what a beautiful sight that is! The way they all do their thing to help her when trouble comes to her door,is yet another sign of how close they all are. I really love this series!
I waited to see how the author would handle this dynamic as it is different from her usual fare but never fear she nailed down a winner. Realistic bdsm relationships that develop and mature over time into something beautiful and meaningful. I love that we get to keep up with everyone from the previous books as well. Outstanding job.
This is the first Domme book that I have read. I have read a few where the female is a switch. This book definitely pushed me a bit out of my comfort zone.
I loved that both characters are strong and independent however I think that Golden Angel does an amazing job of explaining Luke’s submissiveness. I love the journey that we take with Olivia and Luke as they explore what their relationship could be. I love when a book can push me but still keep me reeled in! Even though I felt a bit uncomfortable, I couldn’t put the book down and just had to know what happened. For me that is a rare experience! Brava, Golden!
Personally, I fell in love with Olivia’s personality ever since reading book one, “The Sassy Submissive.” A strong independent Domme who can even take charge and keep a room of dominant men in line, Olivia has a heart of gold and always makes sure those she cares about are taken care of and watched over. So when she meets the silent partner Patrick and Michael have taken on when building the new BDSM club there are more surprises than even Olivia knows what to do with. Golden Angel had written such a beautiful, mysterious, thought provoking story about Olivia and Luke. I’ve loved all the Stronghold Dom books, but I have to say, this one is my favorite.
Contemporary bdsm club.
It strikes me that there doesn’t seem to be a explanation for the stars that are given. So I thought I’d start giving my take on it.
1 horrible no redeeming qualities.
2 there are redeeming qualities.
3 good worth reading, or well written but not my cup of tea.
4 great but there’s something off.
5 loved it.
I would have liked to see more spanking in this. Argg, everything I started to write becomes a spoiler. I HATE spoilers so I think I’ll just go on to say that the narration gives the story life.

I admit I am both a little in love and a bit scared of Olivia, but I figure she wouldn’t want it any other way!
I had never read a book that went into any kind of detail on what it would be like to be a male submissive, let alone one new to the BDSM scene all together. It just made their relationship all that more interesting. I loved how he would not give up, no matter how much she deterred him and secretly wanted him to keep doing it. Again, I was so very happy to see the rest of the gang intertwined throughout their story. Even the “background” characters are well developed and pull you in! The way they tease one another in one breath and stand in the gap for them in the next is the epitome of true friendship.
I love that Olivia is like a “mother hen” to all of her friends, and especially the new Doms! (Baby Doms!) Her strength of character is never more on display than when she is protecting those around her, and I love that! Of course, the book entails quite a bit of sex… one might worry that it would become monotonous, or risk describing too much of the same thing over and over- but it never gets old, you do NOT want to skip over anything, if anything you want to re-read it! Sexy does not even adequately cover the moment Luke allows Olivia total control over him- SO, SO, HOT!
I would highly recommend this book to anyone who loves a great story that feels believable and pulls you in from the very first page!
Audio Review
I thoroughly enjoyed this story about Domme Olivia Williams and the man who is strongly drawn to her Luke Evans. The narrator did a good job but I felt that the male character voices were not as strong as the female ones.
This book packed an awful lot into it. I really liked Olivia and Luke, both as individuals and defensively as a couple. I felt their connection and the chemistry between the two of them is scorchingly hot. However Tempting The Domme is not just a steamy book, it has depth and the characters were easy to relate too.
It was great to see how Olivia handled Luke’s doubts and insecurities as he wrestled with his desire to be submissive in the bedroom. Particularly sine he is such an alpha take charge man outside of it.
I love BDSM themed books but was not to sure how I would take to a Domme rather than a Dom. I wasn’t totally sure that this would be a book I would enjoy. How wrong could I be?
Book seven in the Stronghold Doms series. Can be read as stand-alone, but I highly recommend reading series in order first (as well as reading the Venus Rising series before the Stronghold Doms series). Same friend group is secondary characters in all the books, and I love reading about them. This is told in dual POV with HEA for this books couple. This book is about Olivia who is a Domme at the BDSM club Stronghold. Olivia is fighting her attraction to Luke who is an investor in the new club Marquis that Olivia will be managing. Luke is interested in Olivia and has signed up to take a beginners class for submissives. I personally don’t like reading Olivia’s kink, so I didn’t love this story. I did love Olivia and Luke just not her kink or her lack of giving up any control in the bedroom. I am looking forward to the next book with Jake and Sharon.
An engaging story and characters; another favorite for the year
Book 7 in the Stronghold Doms series, I initially hadn’t read the series before but was intrigued by the blurb here, and I read the first three books of the series while waiting for this to come out. There are a lot of characters crossing over the books–well, with a series this long, quite a few characters, period–so while I think you could enjoy this one read on its own, reading at least the first book in the series would help introduce a lot of those characters and add to the overall enjoyment. And yes, I will be going back to read the ones I’ve missed.
I absolutely love Olivia! A strong female character holding her own with all those Doms, she was a favorite in the earlier books and it was great to see her get her own story. I loved Luke as well. I haven’t read many books with a male submissive; I thought the author did a great job here with Luke’s character growth over the course of the story as he comes to terms with what being a submissive means as well as dealing with how that conflicts with the role society dictates the man should have in a m/f relationship. With the story set-up, I also enjoyed the development of the relationship between Luke and Olivia as they figure out the balance of power with their roles both in and out of the bedroom, especially as Luke works to win Olivia over in spite of herself.
One of the things I’ve come to like best about this author’s style is the amount of humor mixed into story, a lot of it stemming from the relationships between the group of friends. There were plenty of moments that had me either grinning ear to ear or laughing outright, especially when Olivia was keeping all those big, bad Doms in line. Of course, there’s plenty of heat as well, and the author does a great job of keeping everything in balance.
With an engaging story and characters as well as a great mix of both humor and heat, this was a one-sitting read for me and another favorite so far for the year. A great addition to a series and from an author I’m coming to love. 5+ stars

Luke Evans is the new silent partner in Marquis. Getting to know his partners Michael and Patrick means hanging out at Stronghold. It also means seeing Mistress Olivia in her element and lusting after her. Olivia treats him cooly and seems to want nothing more to do with him other than an employee/boss relationship. Luke realizes he wants to be with a strong, controlling woman in the bedroom and Olivia ticks all his boxes. When he shows up to be a participant in Olivia’s submissive class she couldn’t be more surprised. But, never one to shy away from a challenge she takes him on as a student. The only problem is that she is very attracted to him and doesn’t feel it’s proper. Even though she finds another Dom to train Luke, Olivia oversees the training and realizes that Luke responds much better to her than mistress Lisa. As Luke and Olivia start to forge this new relationship a black cloud hangs over them in the form of a stalker that is threatening Olivia. As the stock stalker’s behavior escalates, the Stronghold group steps up to protect Olivia. Things turned scary when the stalker confronts Olivia outside Stronghold and threatens her. Luke rushes to the rescue only to put his own life in peril. Fortunately, all is well that ends well and the stalker is finally in custody facing multiple charges. Of course Olivia is livid with Luke for putting himself In Harm’s Way and insist that she will punish him for his rash behavior. He’s only too willing to accept that punishment after realizing how much he could have lost had she been hurt.
