A second chance romance that I couldn’t put down!!! Mitchell Parker *sigh* (I swear these Parker men just keep getting better and better!) He’s a man whore and set in his ways. One night and one night only, he doesn’t want to give any girls the wrong idea. Then he spends one unforgettable night with Corina. He can’t get her out of his mind and he tries, oh does he try.
Corina thought they had a connection but Mitchell doesn’t call her again. Of course they run into each other but they don’t talk to one another. I wanted to smack Mitchell but I also wanted to hug him and tell him go after her!!!
Corina’s heart has taken a beating. When Mitchell finally pulls his head out of…the sand will it be too late? Will Corina have moved on with another man? Will Corina make him work for their relationship or will she tell him to leave her alone?
Tempting Love is Book 3 in the Cowboys and Angels Series and just when you think it can’t get any better Kelly Elliott gives us another 5 Star read featuring the Parker siblings, this is another sweet, sexy and swoony second chance romantic read. Tempting a love is Mitchell and Corina’s story, this is a couple that are meant to be together but both are determined not to give in to their feelings, Mitchell is a ladies man that doesn’t seem to spend more than one night with any women will Corina be able to change that….what happens when feelings and emotions that have never been felt before by Mitchell start to mess with his head. Guess you need to read the book to get the whole story.
I love the Parker siblings and as I said for me each book is getting better than the last if that’s possible, I loved watching this couple go on their journey of love and I loved watching them grow as feelings came into play. This is a beautifully written love story with a perfect ending and I’m really looking forward to more from the Parker clan.
I adore the Parker family, and each and every time Kelly Elliott puts the right person in one of the Parker sibling’s paths, readers can anticipate the push and pull that’s going to happen between the hero and heroine, regardless of how opposed to commitment and relationships one or the other might be and we can also expect the other Parkers to do whatever they can to allow their sibling to have the happily ever after that s/he deserves.
Book Three is Mitchell’s story and Tempting Love is the perfect title for what occurs after he spends one night/morning with Corina Miller because regardless of his less than gentlemanly actions after their encounter, Mitchell can’t get Corina out of his head and for the next six months despite his best effort to resume his normal routine when it comes to the fairer sex, he can’t escape his feelings for Corina…too bad he might have already crashed and burned without really trying to woo or win Corina’s heart.
Corina is a heroine who readers can relate to, especially those readers who have given their heart to someone and watched him destroy it with insensitive behavior. Corina was invested in building something with Mitchell from the start, but their one night together and his subsequent actions after forced her to attempt to move on from her deep feelings for him, which means when he finally does come around, she’ll have to determine if she’s willing to give Mitchell a second chance when he’s already broken her heart one time too many.
The fact that Mitchell has to work for another chance with Corina proves the kind of woman she is and the type of man she deserves and while she puts Mitchell through his paces, it’s also clear just how much she wants to give into her feelings for him even though she’s still recovering from the first time he broke her heart, and as mad as I was at Mitchell for his callous and clueless behavior after his night with Corina, he proves himself to her and to readers when he goes all in, working to win Corina’s heart one woo and one seduction at a time.
I love the world and characters that Kelly Elliott has created in her Cowboys & Angels’ series. I feel like I’m an honorary resident of Oak Springs and a part of the Parker clan. The Parker siblings work their magic in Tempting Love and prove just how amazing and somewhat obnoxious it is to have a big, close family where there’s no privacy and people aren’t afraid to call other people out on their behavior and actions regardless of the fact that it just might be none of their business!
I do have to admit that the ending seemed like it was going at warp speed when it came to Corina and Mitchell’s relationship, which made me question why everything needed to happen as quickly as it does, but regardless of my concern about the conclusion of the story, I enjoyed my time spent with the Parkers and I can’t wait to see what happens to one Parker in particular now that Harley Carbajal is back in town.
4 Poison Apples (The Fairest of All Book Reviews)
4.5 Stars
Tempting Love is the third title in the Cowboys and Angels series, and is a second chance, small town love story features Corina Miller and Mitchel Parker. Both characters have appeared in the previous titles in the series, and I honestly wasn’t sure if I was going to love Mitchel, as much as his predecessors. His past actions left a lot to be desired, but in true Kelly Elliott fashion, by the end of this title I had found a new book boyfriend.
This pair of characters are endearing, relatable and fallible. Mitchell Parker is your eternal bachelor, he loves nothing more than a no strings attached hook-up that is until Corina Miller. This sexy cowboy has a range of fears relating to commitment and love, but is determined to win over Corina.
Corina Miller is a sweet, loyal, funny and kind, despite the fact that she is fearful of her feelings she is determined to make him work for her affections.
I adore the tight knit Parker family, and I love the way in which the previous characters are intertwined into the story, and little hints are dropped throughout that give you an idea of which of the siblings will find their happy ever after, and whom with in the future.
The Sexual tension between this pair is intense and undeniable and just oozes off the page. Tempting Love is an wonderfully written, inspiring, heart-warming story full of heat, heart, humour, drama and steam.
As much as I’ve enjoyed the previous titles in this series, I couldn’t put down Tempting Love and read it in one sitting and it’s my favourite of the series so far. I will be eagerly anticipating the remaining titles in this series, and look forward to adding them to my shelves.
I absolutely loved Tempting Love, the third book the Cowboys and Angels series, by Kelly Elliott! I could not put it down and I loved every page. Each book in the series keeps getting better and better. Who doesn’t love big families, cowboys and love stories? Kelly Elliott has once again proven that she is an incredible story teller. I love that she writes her stories in the first person from the perspective of the main characters. I love getting inside their minds and knowing their thoughts and how they really feel. Tempting Love is filled with secrets shared and discovered and heartwarming and heartbreaking moments. I truly love the lighter moments of Tempting Love where I found myself smiling and laughing. My favorite moments are the ones that cause me to sigh, say aww to myself with tears filling my eyes. Tempting Love is filled with such moments and so much more. Tempting Love is a love at first story about Corina Miller and Mitchell “Mitch” Parker. Corina is a friend of Paxton and a first grade teacher at the same school where Paxton taught, and Mitchell is a Texas Ranger. Corina and Mitch share a night of romance and Mitch ends up spending the night, something he never did before. His feelings for Corina scare him and he pushed her away. He worries about the danger of his job and doesn’t want to leave a family behind if something were to happen to him in the line of fire. Faulty wiring causes and electrical fire at Corina’s house. Mitch rushes in the save her cat Milo and offers Corina a place to stay. As the spend more time together, they realize that the each have feelings for the other, even though they are both jealous when other people try to move in on the other. Corina must overcome her issues with Mitch’s past and the number of women that he dated. I loved how Mitch was able to cross an item off Corina’s bucket list and made it so very special and memorable. Once again, my favorite part was Chloe and her goat Patches! And that Patches is included in all the Parker family events. I love the Oak Springs setting and the descriptions that Kelly uses makes me want to visit and hang out with the Parkers. Once again Kelly Elliott writes about strong, beautiful women and hot, sexy men, I love all her characters, especially when big families are included. Who doesn’t love reading a story about lovers that are willing to give love a second chance. Tempting Love is filled with the bittersweet and poignant moments and the surprise plot twists, that I have come to love and expect in Kelly Elliott’s stories. She truly did not disappoint with Tempting Love. I love the cast of characters in Tempting Love and I am looking forward to reading the other books in the series. Who doesn’t love family and friends that always have each other’s backs? Reading Tempting Love feels like a family reunion, because the reader was able to catch up with the other characters in the series. So happy that Corina and Mitchell finally got their happily ever after. My favorite part was the ending and John Parker’s role in the events. I loved Mitchell’s reaction and how he was willing to change his life to be able to share his life with Corina. It was such a wonderful surprise ending! Tempting Love is another wonderfully written story in the Cowboys and Angels series and I loved every moment. Highly recommend this beautifully written story.
Mitchell made me want to kill him all the way through the series until this book! Rationally I understand all the reasons for him to freak out after he spent the night with Corina, but my heart hurt so bad for her and then every time Mitch dilly dallied I just wanted to scream!
This book has some of the things I love most about romance! I’m going to call it a second chance romance, even though at first it more closely resembled insta lust, super HOT sexy times, some suspense (I really hope to get more info about Lane in the next book), and an awesome family element! I swear I’d love to be in a family like the Parkers, loud, crazy, but so much love you can feel it in every step of their days. Five steamy stars, I can’t WAIT for Waylynn’s book, I just know it’s going to break me in all the best ways!!

I love everything Kelly writes. I actually didn’t really care for Corina as a character in the beginning of the book. I don’t know why she just didn’t appeal to me. But after reading more of the book I really liked her and Mitchell’s chemistry and it just clicked.
Kelly Elliott has written another phenomenal novel!
Tempting Love was an absolutely stunning read. Every single detail was written with such care and precision, and that shows throughout the entire novel. Not only did the characters have this connection between them, but the plot line further drew you in to this impeccably written story.
Kelly has a way of making you swoon and your heart beat fast. Her poetic words will leave you speechless, and her mesmerizing characters will leave you in awe.
If I could give this novel more than 5 stars, I would in a heartbeat.
5/5 Stars!
Oh man where do I start. This is a fantastic series and with each book I fall in love with The Parker Family. Mitchell never thought about settling with just one woman. Like all the Parker Boys he was love by all women but always a one night type of thing, until he layed eyes on Corina. Corina was new to Oak Springs, Texas, her BF Paxton convinced her to move there but she was not expecting to fall head over heels for the Ranger Mitch. These two don’t start off on the right feet, but when you see each other at ever turn faith intervenes. Their love story is amazing. I laughed, cured and just felt all the love. Little Chloe she still steals the story with her cuteness.
5 Dove Loving Stars!!!
I knew I was going to love Mitchell and Corina, but let me tell y’all I flipping floved these two so much more than even I thought I would!!!! This story was everything I thought it was going to be and so much more!
Ms. Elliott has a way of creating these families that are just so incredible….you just can feel The Parkers were the “cool house” to hang out at when we were growing up lol…
If you have read the first two books in this series (which I highly recommend you do because they are awesome and because you will be a little lost if you haven’t) then you know that Mitchell really messed things up when him and Corina first got together. I mean the boy has some serious making up to do if he is going to win Sweet Corina’s heart.
Corina, I don’t think I can say enough nice things about his girl. I just loved her so much. I was so impressed by how she stood her ground and didn’t just wilt and fall into Mitchell’s arms when he realized he had made the biggest mistake of his life. I mean I don’t think I would have really blamed her if she didn’t, cuz the man is fiiinnne, but I respected her even more for making him work for it. And work for it he does, Mitchell isn’t letting anyone get in the way of winning Corina’s heart, not even her.
These two were just so perfect together and when you add all the spectacular side characters to their story you have the makings for a phenomenal read.
I have been waiting for Mitchell and Corina’s story since the first book and this story was perfect for them. Mitchell was the no-relationship-one-night-stand kinda guy until he met the one woman who would turn his world upside down and bring him to his knees. Corina is the beautiful, innocent teacher who had a one night stand with a man who stole her heart with that one encounter. Now can Mitchell mend what he broke when he turned Corina away… be prepared for a beautiful story you won’t be able to put down!
Real true romance, packed with sweetness like only Kelly Elliott’s cowboys can deliver, Tempting Love is another brilliant addition to the Cowboys and Angels series. This book had me glued to my kindle completely lost in Texas with Corina and Mitchell. Full on melt your heart, swoon worthy Cowboy + sweetheart of a woman= total perfection!
I feel like I’ve been waiting for Corina and Mitchell forever, probably because I’ve devoured every book in this series on release day, but still, I was so excited for these two! Their story was everything I’d hoped for and more. While Mitchell May have been, frankly stupidly stubborn, at first the man sure knows how to make up for it. He fell, and he fell hard for Corina and I loved it! Corina is one of the sweetest characters I’ve ever read but she didn’t make it easy on Mitchell, which I have to admit I enjoyed. She’s definitely no doormat just because she’s a sweetheart. When these two finally come together it makes for one of the greatest romances ever.
I love everything about this series! The Parker siblings are amazing and each of their stories unique and you can’t help but fall in love with them. You first meet Corina and Mitchell in book 1,but each of these stories can be read as a standalone. If you’re like me though, you want to read them all and in order.
Corina and Mitchell have always had this unique relationship and sexual chemistry that you can just feel coming out of the book. So, when we finally get Mitchell’s story, I couldn’t have been happier with how it went.
Mitchell is one thick headed individual. He has these serious feelings for Corina, but his own hesitations and reasons behind not wanting a relationship and hurting Corina. But you want to seriously SMACK him upside the head when reading because he such a man about things and you hurt for Corina and Mitchell’s stupidity.
Corina is this amazing person who you can’t help but love and want her to get her happy ending. But this thing with Mitchell is hard, because she loves him, even if she doesn’t want too. Corina finally decides enough is enough and decides she’s done with Mitchell, that’s where it’s gets interesting.
I loved Mitchell and Corina. Their story was perfect for them and you can’t help but smile and love them at the end of the book.
Tempting Love by Kelly Elliott is the third book in the Cowboys and Angels and is Mitchell and Corina’s story, and what an emotional story it is.
Readers are introduced to the couple in the earlier books, and there is chemistry there, but the time was never right for them…until now. Corina has always had deep feelings for Mitchell, and Mitchell is completely afraid of commitment. As you can imagine, their journey to their HEA will be a bumpy one, but it’s one you don’t want to miss.
Both Corina and Mitchell are complicated characters. They both love one another, but they are so stubborn and afraid to admit their feelings for one another, so they decide to make each other miserable. Sometimes they drove me crazy, and then sometimes they made me laugh. I just kept hoping they would finally come to their senses!!!
What made this book so special was the sense of family and friendships. This book is not a standalone. It is a continuous storyline that weaves earlier couples and plots into the book. I can’t wait to return again and catch up with everyone!

5.0 Star Review Tempting Love (Cowboys & Angels #3) by Kelly Elliott
This has to be one of my favourite series and is Mitchell Parker and Corina Miller’s story. If I could give this book more then 5 stars I sure would. I am so in love with this series by Kelly Elliott.
This was one of those books I wanted to take slowly to savour the story and yet I found myself riveted to the book and kept on reading, just one more chapter. I loved the banter between Mitchell and his brothers and sisters; their scenes together made for some snort worthy moments throughout the book. In fact I will never look at smurfs in the same way again.
As with the previous books in the series, Chloe just about stole the show with her goats and her amazing ideas and party planning; she really is an awesome little girl, heaven help the entire family when she grows up.
Mitchell has always been a love them and leave them kind of guy, that is until a one night stand with school teacher Corina leaves him stunned and wanting so much more. Scared because this has never happened to him, he does the one things he knows how to do and that is run, hurting Corina badly in the process.
Fast forward some time and he begins to see that that decision may well cost him the only woman he has ever spent the entire night with and the only woman he has ever developed true feelings for.
Can Mitch get through the wall that Corina has built around herself? Will Corina give Mitch a second chance? One click Tempting Love and find out.
Honestly if I could be adopted by the Parker family I most assuredly would, it really is like coming home when I read a book in this series. The next book is about Waylynn and I know I won’t be disappointed.
Haunted by a night that never should have been, two broken hearts are figuring out how to piece themselves together again. Tempting Love speaks a language that is universal to everyone. Corina and Mitchell are mirror images of each other until it comes to love. Now they have to decide if they have the strength to build something special together or weather the heartache apart. What makes an author like Ms. Elliott a treasure is her ability to speak on subjects close to the heart with insightful humor and heartbreaking drama and come out the other side with an inspiring perspective.
