She’s a temptation I just can’t resist… heat and heart-stopping smile rocket straight to my heart, not to mention parts south.I’ve never minded going above and beyond for a job. Except playing the smitten lover doesn’t feel like acting anymore. Despite all my experience, I’m the one who forgot to secure my heart. The only rule for this job was to walk away at the end.But maybe this time—for the first time—I’m going to break the rules.

The chemistry Leo and Samantha has is so hot. Leo is trying to help out his best friend’s little sister. Problem is she is not little anymore. Samantha and Leo are pretending to be in a relationship. But there is a bigger problem now, Leo wants to cross that line and in crossing that line he might lose his best friend too.
Another smoking hot book from J. Kenner. Short read but worth it.
This novella is a combined Best Friend’s Little Sister and Fake Fiancee trope providing double the angst and laughs! Our Hero, Leo, agrees to escort his best friend’s little sister, Samantha, to her friend’s destination wedding, which will seem like an “all expense paid getaway weekend”. He later finds out that her ex and his new fiancee will also be in attendance since he’s the bride’s cousin. This means Sam has to up the relationship level of her date to fiance status. After promising to his best friend that he would not make a pass at Sam, Leo convinces himself that he can hide his growing attraction to her as long as he keeps his distance. He does a fairly decent job until Sam takes her friendly, teasing, flirtatious comments to seduction level actions, and we watch Leo’s good intentions crumble. Not only do they crumble, but he then takes his sexy fiance duties very seriously, even when Sam’s ex is no where around! Sam’s also been keeping a little secret from him, which suddenly takes on a life of its own! Loved these two!
5 When A Fake Relationship Becomes So Much More Stars!!!
While this was definitely a quick read it definitely didn’t lack in heat or story. Sam has had a pseudo-crush on Leo for quite a while and when her older brother asks Leo to escort his younger sister to a wedding he thinks he’ll get out unscathed because, well, he promised he wouldn’t seduce her… Sam on the other hand took total and complete advantage of them being together and I FREAKING LOVED IT!!!
Leo is the perfect man for this girl because she needs someone that sees how beautiful she is inside and out and that she has so much to offer. She’s always been Brody’s little sister and now she’s not so little in all the ways that count. Seeing this man fall and fall hard brought a huge smile to my face… because explain that to your best friend!!!
Ms. Kenner has done such a great job of writing a story that kept me engaged with the characters while also needing to fan myself because their chemistry is through the roof. I’m in love with the way Leo loves her and makes her so happy. This book is a great addition to the Blackwell-Lyon series!
This may be a quick read but it still packs a mighty punch and it a story that will captivate you and leave you wanting more, it can be read as a stand-alone although I think you will certainly want to pick up the previous books after reading Leo and Samantha’s story.
What happens when you realise the fake relationship you are having has become real and do you risk the friendship you share for the love you feel….
I loved this couple but I also loved catching up with characters from the previous books. The chemistry is sizzling and the characters adorable and as always it’s an extremely well written story that flows. I believe if you take the chance and one click you won’t be disappointed.
This was such a fun read! Fake relationship books are done all of the time but this one still felt fresh. The backstory between Leo and Sam was woven so beautifully into the “here and now”. You can really feel the chemistry flowing up out of the pages and you can cut the angst (because, you know, best friend’s little sister and all those unspoken rules and such. 😉 ) with a knife.
J Kenner always does such a great time at bringing her characters and stories to life and she didn’t disappoint here.
Tempting Little Tease is a short, super sexy, friends to lovers – best friend’s little sister romance. I loved Sam and Leo. There was humor, super sizzling chemistry, and wonderful characters. I loved the revenge Sam got on her ex and the interaction between Sam and Leo is great. Loved this story from beginning to end!
Well, damn. I’m not a huge fan of short stories, but I am a huge fan of J.Kenner, and this book just worked for me. Character development was there, storyline was really good, the same hot, steamy, well written story we all have come to expect with this author is all there wrapped up in a fast paced book. Loved every minute of it, I definitely want more! Hoping Brody’s story is full length so we can get the final scoop on this great couple!
I voluntarily reviewed an ARC copy of this book
Tempting Little Tease is the fourth book in the Blackwell-Lyon series and this short story packs in all the feels. It is a story about a long time crush and finding your forever in the place you least expect it. I loved that their wasn’t a lot of conflict or drama. It was super sweet and some parts smokin hot but it left you all warm and fuzzy. I loved Sam and her quirkiness and I absolutely loved that she went after what she wanted regardless of what her brother thought. And Leo, with his broody hotness was totally swoon worthy.
Leo and Sam’s story can be read as a standalone so you won’t have to go back and read the first three books…I will say that this series is great and I don’t think you will be disappointed if you do…
What happens when you promise your best friend that you will look out for his sister and keep it in your pants, only to discover that your best friend’s sister has no intention of letting you stick to that. Leo agrees to pose as Sam’s fake fiance so that she doesn’t look like a loser in front of her ex, Reg. Of course, the Samantha in his head is the gangling kid sister of his best friend, Brody, not the beautiful, curvy woman she has become. When she decides that she wants to fulfill her youthful fantasy of her and Leo so she can finally move past him, things don’t go quite as planned. Love this series. Fun, quick read.
3.5 star review. The trope of best friend’s little sister, a quick read that borders on a novella.
For the timeline, this book was just the right length, providing the right amount of detail. The story flowed really well. There’s chemistry, a steamy scene (which I would have liked a little more of), some action (of a non-steamy nature), and where the story takes places was a nice change from the setting of Austin. The book is entirely from the hero’s perspective and there is something I can’t quite put my finger on that didn’t sit right with me, maybe a disconnect between characters. Either way it was still a good book. The epilogue sets up for a fifth book in the series.
For those that enjoy a childhood crush turned fake fiancé to a full blown love…add in an undercover operation and look no further than Tempting Little Tease! Loved Leo and Sam in this quick read from J. Kenner!
This book was quick and packed. Samantha is Leo’s best friend’s little sister. The sister they swore to always be there for. When Sam needs a fake fiancé for a wedding weekend Leo agrees to help. Their little fake weekend turns into so much more between them. There is temptation, tension, and lots chemistry. I love this series and can’t wait for the next book.
5 Star Review Tempting Little Tease (Blackwell-Lyon #4) by J Kenner
This was a fast quick novella that had me hooked from the start to finish; my only complaint, and it’s not really a complaint is that I would have loved the story to be longer.
I really loved the characters of Leo and Samantha and the secondary characters were just as entertaining. It was also great to see some familiar faces popping up.
What happens when fake suddenly becomes oh so real? Will Leo be prepared to cross the invisible line of friendship? Or will he retreat and in doing so lose his chance at happiness?
Neither of them can deny the sizzling chemistry that sparks between them but is it enough to take the leap?
This may not be a long book but it is well written and Ms. Kenner certainly packs a lot into it.
One click this one, I don’t think you will be disappointed.
It is so much fun when a tough guy meets his match in a strong, confident woman. Leo gets trapped into helping his best friend’s sister, Sam, by being her ‘fake’ fiancé at a wedding she has to attend. Now, he knows Sam, she was always around when they were kids but he hasn’t seen her in years. He isn’t prepared for the sexy, confident woman in front of him and knows his promise to Brody to keep his hands off of Sam is going to be hard to keep. Sam is very clever given that she has always had a crush on Leo. Getting him to help her out for the weekend is brilliant and allows her to fulfill the fantasy she has carried for years in her head. Now, will these two follow the sparks and give in to temptation? Or will Leo behave? I enjoyed all the craziness as their weekend unfolded. I voluntarily read an ARC of this book and this is my honest review.
Fantastic! Tempting Little Tease is a fast paced, jam packed romance with humor and great writing. Things don’t always appear as they should seam and I absolutely adored this book!
3.5 stars
Quick fast paced and a little steamy.
I love a brothers best friend/best friends sister story.
Because it’s a novella it’s quite fast paced. I enjoyed it but felt it was missing the usual JK spark.

TEMPTING LITTLE TEASE is the fourth instalment in J. Kenner’s contemporary, adult BLACKWELL-LYON erotic, romance series focusing on the men and women who work for Blackwell-Lyon Security. This is security specialist Leonardo ‘Leo’ Palermo, and technology developer Samantha Watson’s story line. TEMPTING LITTLE TEASE can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Any important information from the previous instalments is revealed where necessary.
Told from first person perspective (Leo Palermo) TEMPTING LITTLE TEASE follows the best friend’s little sister/fake fiancé relationship between security specialist Leonardo ‘Leo’ Palermo, and Samantha Watson. With the approach of her best friend’s wedding Samantha Watson needs a date for the destination wedding, a wedding where her ex-boyfriend Reg is the cousin of the bride. Enter security specialist Leonardo ‘Leo’ Palermo, Samantha’s brother Brody’s best friend, and the man with whom Samantha has loved for most of her life. Hoping to distract her ex at the upcoming wedding, Samantha makes Leo an offer he cannot refuse. What ensues is the building romance and relationship between Leo and Sam, and the potential fall-out as their time together comes with an expiry date.
Samantha ‘Sam’ Watson has been in love with her brother’s best friend for most of her life but Leo only saw Sam as Brody’s little sister, a woman off limits in more ways than one. Leo knows that to get involved with Samantha Watson could ruin his friendship with Brody Carrington, a friendship he is willing to risk when he falls in love with our story line heroine. The $ex scenes are intimate and steamy, without the use of over the top, sexually graphic language and text.
The colorful and energetic secondary and supporting characters include Sam’s step-brother Brody Carrington, Conor Lyon (Sexy Little Sinner), Cayden Lyon (Pretty Little Player), as well as Sam’s best friend Cherry (the bride), and Sam’s ex boyfriend Reg Thorne.
TEMPTING LITTLE TEASE is a story of family, friendship, betrayal and revenge. The premise is engaging and light; the characters are colorful and energetic; the quick building romance is seductive and passionate.
What was supposed to be a fake relationship between Leo and Samantha ends up being so much more while at the wedding of one of her good friends. Admission to a true childhood crush and seeing your best friends little sister in a different light completely surround them both. But when what started out as fake ends up being so much more will Leo cross the line of friendship? Or will the romance end as quickly as the weekend does leaving them both wanting more? Great characters and a quick but powerful storyline makes for another wonderful read by J. Kenner.
