He’s sworn to uphold the lawHis reckless behavior as a child caused the deaths of his entire family. On the lonely Sydney streets, the orphan found friends. Found “brothers.” Never again will Seattle Homicide Detective Heath Justice break the rules and risk his new family. Order and discipline govern his life…until he meets a curvaceous redhead. With two ugly murder cases to solve, the last thing … last thing he needs is this disconcertingly lovely, whirlwind of chaos, yet…charmed by her wit and intelligence, Heath can’t resist.
She believes rules are meant to be broken
Deep into writing a murder mystery, author London Shaw is shocked when she herself is implicated in a homicide. She can’t believe the ever-so-authoritarian Detective Heath Justice expects her to simply ignore the crime and go on about her business. Not happening. Although the man’s whiskey rough voice, cuffs, and masterful touch could melt any woman’s resistance—and does—she has a craving to do a little investigating herself.
When all or nothing is your only play
When Heath’s murder investigation threatens a far-reaching conspiracy, everyone he cares for becomes their target—including the woman he’s come to love.

These brothers have had me captivated I couldn’t wait to start this book after reading Craving Justice. I really enjoyed reading about Heath and London, there wasn’t any angst or drama in this relationship which meant we got to enjoy the story. I liked them as a couple. One thing I enjoyed the most about this book was that it was more of a suspense than a romance novel. The mystery was intriguing that it carried the book perfectly.
Heath was entranced by the fiery red head the second he caught her trying to break into her parents’ house and he knew there was no way he was letting her go without a promise for a date.
We once again have a whole cast of interesting and likable secondary characters. But I can’t wait to read Zach (the bad boy biker brother) Story.
I really enjoyed how this book picked up where the first one left off, there are still so many questions surrounding Stanton Fox and now Adam and Seth are looking into things after Adams career was ruined by Dillon and Seth sold their business to Stanton. Meanwhile Heath is getting to know his new partner Derek and meets London Derek’s sister and from there she has him captivated unfortunately bad luck follows the Justice brothers and now Heath has to try and balance getting to know London as well as juggle a murder investigation as well as finding out more about Stanton, while he is doing that London is trying to stick to her guns on her next writing process however someone has other ideas and now she is also caught up in a murder. This book had me hooked with they way that everything flows and even though there are a few things going on at once you don’t feel confused etc the story unfolds naturally and the world building continues as we get to know the Justice brothers more and the stories behind each of them so you can see where they have come from and gone through to be where they are now. Bring on book 3!
The Justice brothers are an addiction! I strongly recommend reading book 1, Craving Justice first to fully appreciate the twists and turns of this suspense.
Tempting Justice focuses around the explosive romance between Heath and London, but weaved between the pages of their love story is an engaging mystery that will have you guessing until the end.
This is book two in the series and book one, Craving Justice, needs to be read first.
Detective Heath Justice is back on the force on after being forced to work desk duty. His new partner, Derek Shaw seems to be working out until he catches someone trying to break into Derek’s parents place.
London Shaw is an author who has decided to switch genres after writing YA and is now going to write a mystery book and she is researching how to break into a house when she is caught by Heath. Sparks fly between the two and Heath knows he has met his match in London.
When a body is found Heath knows he will be off the case as it has ties to his family and his brother, Adam is hired to dive further into the murder by the victim’s wife.
Then a fellow author is killed and London is linked to the murder. Can they prove London’s innocence?
As everything begins to get tied together will they be able to figure out the truth before it’s too late?
This book is another awesome book in the series! I am loving this series and I am hoping it carries on more than four books!
Heath is such a great character and a police officer who is sworn to protect but at the same time family comes first. He is put into protection mode the moment someone messes with London and that carries on through the book.
London was another awesome character and I loved her from start to finish. I hated what she went through in this book and I loved that she was an author who was switching genres and afraid to upset her readers.
The two have another intense relationship and again there are BDSM elements in it as well.
I loved the twists and turns and how everything carried on from the first book which keeps the reader wondering how deep this is going. The ending leaves you completely surprised and I was shocked at what was revealed!
I can’t wait for more!! – By Rebecca
Tempting Justice is the second book in the Sons of Sydney series by Fiona Archer. I would recommend to read this series in order, although it’s not needed, each of these books can be read as standalones.
This series revolves around the Justices brothers. Four teenage boys, brothers by choice who were taken in by Aurora Justice and taken from the streets of Australia to grow up in America.
Heath Justice is a man of the law, rules are not to be broken. Especially after what breaking the rules done to his family when he was younger, he won’t risk the lives of his new family. So when an investigation he is working on threatens the people he cares about, he works hard to keep them safe. That includes his new partners, younger sister London Shaw, who he’s taken a shine to.
This story is full of mystery and romance. It’s a fast paced read that’s keeps you turning the pages on the edge of your seat. I loved the Justice brothers in book one, I love them even more in this part and I’m almost certain I’ll love them more in the next part of this series.
The second book in the Sons of Sidney series and this focuses on Heath. The storyline that started in the first book continus and the plot thickens. More is revealed about the enemy.
In this book Heath meets London, writer and sister of his partner at work. London is a great character. I loved the fact that she is a writer, she is a bit quirky, but also very down to earth. A bit messy, so she is a total opposite of neatfreak Heath. I loved that the book showed her insecurities, but also her strength.
I loved her and Heath together, they fit. All the characters from the previous book show up and we get to know London and her family. I have to say I loved grandma Estelle, she was a hoot.
The Justice brothers are back and this time it’s Heath, the police officer who meets the incredibly sexy London when she is trying to break into the garage of his partner’s parents home. Turns out, it’s his partner’s sister and Heath has to be very careful about crossing lines. I love the banter the characters have, the way siblings do. Heath has to step in the protect London when she is accused of murder and his alpha male shines through. This was well written, with fun, angst and hot, sexy shenanigans that kept me reading long after I should have put my kindle down and gone to sleep. Highly recommend this series.
I was lucky to receive an early copy of this book. Such a fantastic story, that I was totally engrossed and almost missed my train stop.
This is Heath’s story along with London, younger sister of his colleague which could be awkward. The plot was certainly entertaining with drama, action, murder and love. Just when I thought I had that side character b!tch worked out the author threw in a twist that I didn’t see coming. I enjoy the banter of the Justice Brothers, tough young men who grew up on the streets and developed into these tough but caring men. I didn’t want this book to end and I certainly look forward to the next brother’s story.
Heat, humor, mystery and suspense along with great characters
Book 2 in the series, while enough details from book 1 are filled in to make sure you could read this one on its own, characters and storyline carry over from the previous book. I’d recommend reading the series in order for maximum enjoyment and because this book has spoilers for book 1.
I loved how Heath and London were opposites in so many ways: Heath is literally law and order, being a homicide detective, and order is important to him in all facets of his life, while London is a writer whose creativity actually thrives with some level of chaos around her. They both showed some nice character growth over the course of the story, and watching them adjust and tease each other was half the fun of their relationship. The other half? Well, let’s just say those cuffs Heath had really helped ramp up the heat in the bedroom, lol.
The story had its own share of mysteries to solve, and an additional set of secondary characters coming into the mix with London (including big brother Derek, Heath’s new partner) along with the characters from the previous book, all of which came together in a nicely balanced story with plenty of depth.
Heat, humor, mystery and suspense along with all those great characters meant that I enjoyed this book every bit as much as the first. Now I just have to wait for book 3 to come out to get Zach and Jinx’s story. 5 stars
