Nico I’m about to make a prophecy come true. Problem is, sweet Ivy doesn’t believe in fated mates or dating wild, young guys. What might people think of her? Me? I don’t give a damn. To say I’m confident is an understatement. Any woman I want is mine. But when the sexy artist looks at me with those big stormy eyes, dumb stuff pours out of my mouth. She thinks I’m too young, but I know I’m her … out of my mouth. She thinks I’m too young, but I know I’m her man.
And now I’ve got a brand new hobby. Tempting Ivy every damn chance I get.
A full length standalone with a HEA about learning to take risks and follow your heart! Features strong language and steamy scenes.

Tempting Ivy touches an insecure part of us we all have. The fear of appearing ridiculous in front of others, being thought of not good enough, sexy enough, smart enough. I enjoyed the deeper part of this story of finally finding out what is important to you. Not letting others influence your happiness. It also helped that Nico was sexy, funny, immature but mature enough to know his own mind and be strong enough to go for what was important to him. Ivy was a bit like looking into myself and letting go of all the insecurities that you think society places upon you. Nico’s mother was a hoot and helped make the story even more special.
I read and reviewed a copy of this book.
There’s an instant attraction between Nico and Ivy. Ivy is not looking for a relationship with a younger man. Nico wasn’t looking for a relationship until he met Ivy and the prophesy his mother keeps telling him about doesn’t help. He’s determined to change her mind. Engaging story about facing insecurities. Some humor. looking forward to South’s story. Recommended read.

Nico’s mother receives a prophecy that her son will end up with a much older woman.
But being 24 who believes in such a silly story.
Ivy is thirty four and doesn’t do relationships with boys.
Both are artists. The game is on.
This book is part of Lighting Boy series but that dark.

I have really enjoyed reading this book, the author did such a great job developing the characters, that I feel like I really know them, and not just the major two characters, but the minor ones too.
Also, it caused me to lose quite a bit of sleep while I was reading it, because it was so hard to put down at night. What you need to know: this book contains no cheating, no cliff-hangers and a HEA.

He is a young cocky man, and she is an artist as well as much older. He knew as soon as he saw her that she would be his. She thinks she is too old for him but he will have her. Will he gain her? Will she see he is what she needs? See what will happen between them

Story line is great and I loved the characters. I really enjoyed reading this book and I would recommend it! Unexpected twists and turns had me reading this book in one sitting. Great storyline and character development made this book a hot and enjoyable read!
This is an amazing story about surpassing your past and what people may say to find your happiness. The complexity and depth of the characters bring you into their story and adds that extra layer to the storyline that makes it relatable and unbelievable. You can’t help but feel their pain and their struggles while cheering them on to make the right choices. Amazing read and I can’t wait for South’s story.

Intriguing and gripping romance storyline. Good development with the characters. Well-written. I liked the book, it was a pleasured to read and review it.
This is the second book by Amy J Heart, which I read, which means that this is a new and relatively unknown author for me. The first book about Eddie and L, though dark and sad, was more than a brilliant and very emotional journey. Nico’s story was also interesting to me, but she lacked the strong emotion of the first book. On the other hand, Nico, his background, his mother, and the prophetic prophecies of the Hungarian fortuneteller were also very well built and represented, but Ivy just did not win me. I would even say that she was a tedious person who, without good cause, was afraid not only to live but also to accept what life offered. At times, the importance she gave on others’ opinion was really irritating me. We must never forget that we only have one life, and we have to answer only to ourselves. Still, this is a good book and I will continue to follow this series by Amy J Heart.
Wonderful sweet read. I met my husband when he was 24 and I am 5 yrs older so I kinda understand the hesitation. I really enjoyed the storyline and the characters. I recommend it to all. I received it from booksprout and voluntarily left my review.
This is the 1st book I’ve read written by Amy Heart; she has done a good job at writing a good book. I can’t wait to read more of her books.

Temping Ivy takes place after A Boy Called L and Lightening Boy, but it can be read as a standalone. The previous two books had more of a darker theme, but Tempting Ivy is much more light-hearted with lots of humor and sarcasm interspersed throughout the book. It is still considered a taboo romance as the heroine, Ivy, is 10 years older than Nico. The prologue sucked me right in from the beginning and then I couldn’t put the book down. Amy J. Heart has such a wonderful writing style and the ability to come up with unique storylines and likable characters.
I loved Nico from Lightening Boy and so I was thrilled that he got his own book and got to learn more about him. I consider him to be a strong, entertaining character. His swagger, confidence, and persistence drew me to him and then his vulnerability when it came to Ivy made him seem more real. He has these funny random facts that he just blurts out that had me laughing so hard. Ivy was an interesting, well-developed character as well. I can imagine myself feeling the same hesitancy to start a relationship with someone so much younger. It is amazing how a woman can date an older man and most people don’t bat an eye, but if the opposite occurs, it is frowned upon. I really liked her as a heroine, but there were a few times that I wanted to knock some sense into her as she made certain assumptions about Nico. I loved loved loved Nico’s mom, Zsophia as she is such a hoot and reminds me a bit of my MIL who is from Croatia. That woman had me in stitches! I enjoyed getting to see L and Eden towards the end. Mia and South are great additions to the book and I would love for both of them to get their own books. I received this book as an ARC and I voluntarily leave this review.
A cocky rocker and An older woman what do you expect will happen. Fated love was never meant to be easy.
I truly enjoyed this book and learning about Ivy and Nico and all their story was great. Don’t hesitate and go for it it’s so worth it.

The idea of the story was good, but I found it dragged on quite a bit and could have been tightened up to be more readable. Also the lead character Ivy was impossible to relate to, empathize with or sympathize with. She came across as a stone cold b**ch who was leading Nico on with her hot and cold behavior. What I really did like and commend the author for was the positive message of the story. The author was also very good at showing the angst and emotions of the characters.

Nico and Ivey are perfect together… I just wish Ivey wouldn’t have been so stubborn and realized that sooner. I spent 85% of the book internally screaming at her to stop being stupid. Love doesn’t care about color or age. Age is just a number and we should live life to the fullest and be happy. She spent too much wasted time. At least she finally comes to her senses. I would have liked an epilogue. All that said, this book is worth the time to read.

A unique way of bringing love together no matter the battles before them. Strong willed characters with so much to lose but even more to gain. A new favorite that has me wanting to know more of their story as well as of the other characters.

This was a really good older woman/younger man romance and is a really sweet read. I loved the chemistry between Ivy and Nico they were hot together. At times I wanted to shake Ivy though she kept denying her feelings and running but Nico knows who he wants and is not going to give up until he gets her. This was a really good book
