Sometimes a fresh start doesn’t look like anything you imagined… two of them.
Flynn moved to Miami to take over his family’s restaurant. He loves being back in his home town. He’s living his best life. Until he spots Elizabeth at Zodiac. He used to work with her. Infuriating woman. Seeing her brings back all the pent-up stress and anger he felt every day sharing an office with her.
The tension between them could start a fire, but a chance encounter causes Flynn to see her in a new light. Elizabeth isn’t interested in anything he has to offer though, nor is she willing to listen to reason. Convincing her to give him a chance is like eating soup with a fork.
But someone is following her, and it makes Flynn nervous. Why does she feel the need to stubbornly control everything? There’s something about her that makes Flynn unwilling to give up. When the perfect opportunity comes along, can he convince her to stay in town and let her guard down?

A fresh start that turns into a blazing hot romance.
Elizabeth and Flynn have known each other for several years through their work but they never got along. So when Flynn spots Elizabeth at Zodiac, the BSMD club he belongs to as a Dom, he’s not amused. But then he sees that she’s a Domme and not a submissive and he’s rocked to his core. And more than a little turned on…
This is the ninth book in the Club Zodiac series and it can be read on its own but it does deal with characters from other books in the series. As with all the books in this series, it deals with the BDSM lifestyle and it’s many, many variations so if that’s not for you, don’t read this book.
I received a free copy of this book via the Bookfunnel and am voluntarily leaving a review.
You’re in for a real treat with this story by the best selling author, Becca Jameson! Our heroine is Elizabeth and she is a self assured [on the surface] woman who is looking for a new beginning by moving to Miami where she knows no one….or so she thinks! Flynn moved to Miami a few years ago to look after the family restaurant. Now the FUN starts when these two meet at a club called Zodiac. These two have a history as they used to work together and they were like oil and water and just did not get on well at all! However, they both see each other in a different ‘light’ now and when her life is put in danger, all Flynn’s alpha propitiatory male protective instincts come to the fore! Now I haven’t mentioned the sizzling attraction between these two yet but, oh my goodness! WOW! There is no doubt that there is something special between them and I worried that my kindle might ‘melt’ at a few points in this page turning that I was compelled to keep reading way into the night to find out what would happen! Sleep was not as important as Elizabeth’s and Flynn’s HEA. A very well composed book with 3-dimensional characters that were engaging and HOT as well as fun! I received a reader’s copy of this book and voluntarily leave my honest opinion of it here. Most Definitely Recommended! I can’t wait to read the rest of the series now. ENJOY!
I loved how Elizabeth and Flynn knew each other from years ago and geeze talk about awkies bumping into each other at Club Zodiac but then again totally fitting due to how they had a feisty work relationship. The way they fight the attraction for each other and how Elizabeth wants to keep herself closed off to the point that you want to shake her and tell her to listen to Flynn. It was great to go back to Club Zodiac as I really do love this series!
This book was a real page turner with the great character and storyline development that captured my attention from the very beginning! The HOT chemistry between Elizabeth and Flynn kept me glued to my kindle throughout the entire book!
Elizabeth has just become a member of Zodiac, she’s a Domme and very good at what she does. When she finds a former co-worker is a Dom and also a member, she isn’t happy about it.
Flynn was intrigued when he saw Elizabeth, he would have pegged her as a submissive not a Domme given her personality in their former workplace. He approaches her after her scene as a courtesy.
When circumstances throw them together, they both make an effort to get re-acquainted. Elizabeth is stubborn but the attraction is there. The question becomes can she give up the control, or can Flynn?
Aside from their incredibly sizzling story there is plenty of suspense, intrigue, laughter and tears.
I really hope there will be more books in this series!
FlynnTaylor & Elizabeth Kepler had for so long engaged in “one-upmanship” that it was the nature of their contentious working relationship. Although he he was a bit surprised when she showed up at Zodiac as a Domme, he easily saw how it fit her tough as nails personna. Elizabeth has wrapped herself up in protective armor so tight that very little penetrated it. What she really didn’t count on was the fact the Flynn was a good Dom and an even better man. He successfully manages to peel back her layers while dominating her even though she swore she’d never give her power to another man again. Being involved with Flynn amplifies just much she’s cut herself off from the world she’s become.
Elizabeth never expected to see him again, and that would be fine with her. They were too similar. They clashed. When they met they were climbing the ladder to success. Cutthroat. Working long hours in an attempt to impress anyone who noticed. They stayed out of each other’s way, most of the time divided up the planning of conferences or large events that needed planing at the same time. Instead of working on them together. They worked their asses off trying to out perform the other. If neither of them was at SaFleur, Elizabeth wondered how their replacements were faring, considering the legacy she and Flynn had left behind. It wasn’t like they were trying to become partners or anything. They each had their own personal desire to to be the best. The fact that Elizabeth usually wanted to strangle the man for his competitive nature, didn’t mean she didn’t also find him sexy. It just meant she would Never tell him she thought so. Not in this lifetime. Elizabeth just finished dominating a sub on a St. Andrew’s cross and dropped her bag, Flynn was in front looking at her. How long were you watching me? Long enough. The two of them just clashed, probably because they were both intelligent, headstrong, and determined. She glanced back at the St Andrew’s cross she’d just finished using. Oh. Did you want me to dominate you? F..k No, you aren’t dominating me. Elizabeth shrugged, trying to look nonchalant. My bad. There wasn’t a chance in hell Flynn was a sub, but man did she enjoy watching his jaw tighten. No one is going to dominate me Elizabeth, but I could fit you in. I’m sure I could find some new toy you’d like to experience. Ha. Not in this lifetime. Your loss. Are you planning to join Club Zodiac? I’m not sure the club is big enough for the both of us. This is The Very Basic Beginning to a wonderfully delightful engaging comically romantic BDSM story I just could not put down. I loved this.
I was given this and I voluntarily leave this review.
Another AWESOME book in the Club Zodiac series. Not only was I hooked but I did not want the book to end. This book was HOT. In addition to the scorching heat, there was a little mystery, and some danger. There was just so much pull between these two characters that they both drew me in.
Elizabeth and Flynn use to work together. Well, they worked for the same company and they could not stand each other. They didn’t work together, it was more like they worked against each other. Imagine their surprise when they discover that not only are they in the same city again, but belong to the same BDSM club. Oh! And they are both Dominates. Yeah…. this is going to be interesting.
The more time they spend together the more they realize that they actually like each other. How can this work? Two Dominates… something has to give right?
Ms. Jameson does it time and time again! She writes a special story of characters who frequent Club Zodiac.
Flynn and Elizabeth knew each other years ago, when they worked in the same department. They were like oil and water. When they see each other at the club, it seems that trend may just continue. There’s a mutual respect, him being a Dom and her being a Domme.
Thank goodness for impact toy lessons. Flynn sees something in Elizabeth. Will he be able to draw it out?
I enjoyed this story a lot. I also enjoyed the fact that Flynn and Elizabeth aren’t “very” young. Thank you!
I received an advanced reader copy, and this is my honest and voluntary review.

A Total MUST-READ BDSM ROMANCE – seductive move from enemy to lovers with all the feels!
Author Becca Jameson has outdone herself in TEMPTING ELIZABETH, her newest Club Zodiac romance. TEMPTING ELIZABETH has become my favorite of all the Zodiac novels because author Jameson’s prose wove a web of seduction around me while revealing the true essence of her mesmerizing characters, Elizabeth and Flynn. Though I could point out that TEMPTING ELIZABETH ruined my afternoon out by the pool by making me too hot to remain in the heat, it also made my day with complex plotlines which enticed and seduced me into reading every last word in one day! Flynn and E have a chemistry that jumps off the page and cannot help but touch readers in a way that feels both intimate and extraordinary. If you have not yet read a novel by Becca Jameson, then TEMPTING ELIZABETH is the place to start! The story is fascinating with just the right amount of angst to give readers that “inside edge” or insight into why Elizabeth and Flynn make the choices they do; while avoiding the “deluge of denial” which can interrupt a fascinating storyline with repetitive/obfuscating piles of dirt. I leaped at the opportunity to read an early copy of TEMPTING ELIZABETH and it has earned every STAR in this 5+STAR rating from my honest and voluntary review! This is one to designate as a MUST-BUY, and should be your next romance purchase! It does have the type of explicit scenes typical of BDSM Romance so TEMPTING ELIZABETH is only for the 18 and older. Yet TEMPTING ELIZABETH is totally different from the “usual” BDSM fare as it offers readers an outstanding storyline that will grab their imaginations and take them on the wonderful and vulnerable ride towards new love! I absolutely love this romance and have already made my pre-order purchase of TEMPTING ELIZABETH to place it in the FAVORITES collection on my Kindle! Get your copy of this wonderful romance today! Happy pages!
Given the premise and the hidden side that Elizabeth keeps secret, I was a bit afraid that this book would be too similar to Obeying Rowan (Club Zodiac Book 2). I needn’t have worried, however, as the characters & situations were completely different. Elizabeth & Flynn have a history of mutual dislike from when they worked together in Atlanta. Move to Miami, & both are surprised to see each other at Club Zodiac. Elizabeth has closed off a part of herself following a traumatic event. that with the re-entry of Flynn into her life she is starting to reconsider. I really enjoyed this book. Elizabeth was a prickly, difficult character while Flynn was much more open to the possibility of a future. Without getting into spoilers, I did find the twist of drama a bit unsatisfying as it didn’t feel like there was any real reason as to the how & why of what happened & I’m still left with the question – why Elizabeth? But I suppose that in books, like life, we don’t always get all of the answers.
