Warning: Tempting Devil is a dark new adult high school bully romance intended for mature readers. This book is part of a series but can be enjoyed as a standalone. The Sinners and Saints series boys are all devilish antiheroes brought to their knees by a spitfire heroine, so if you love enemies-to-lovers and hate-to-love type stories, you’re in the right place. This mature new adult romance contains dubious situations, bullying, blackmail, power imbalance, crude language, and intense sexual/violent content that some readers might find triggering or offensive. Please proceed with caution.

This book!
I loved Wicked Saint, but Veronica Eden stepped up her game with Tempting Devil. Blair and Devlin – the perfect, imperfect match. So different on paper, yet together they were fire.
Devlin. That boy was everything – hot, fucked up, with a heart underneath all his cocky, antagonistic behaviour. My favourite type of hero!
I LOVED Blair! She didn’t take any shit – she knew when to yield but she never once let go of her goals.
And the chemistry between them was off the charts. I felt everything reading this, and I absolutely loved this story.
I can’t wait to see what comes next!
OMG, what did I just read! Veronica Eden has done it again in this amazing bully genre novel. Tempting Devil is book two in the Saints & Sinners series and looks at the characters Blair and Devlin. Blair is just trying to survive and keep the roof over hers and her mums head. To make her life even harder she seems to be on Devlin’s hit list. Taking matters into her own hands, she tries to steal from Devlin which ends up with her having to make a deal with him so that she doesn’t get into any more trouble. Herein lies the problem as she has now made a deal with the Devil and he is going to do anything in his power to break her and make her submit.
Devlin is a dark, brooding character who is bringing himself up. Often cool and aloof, he knows how to play a part and he does it well. The only one he can’t seem to hide from is Blair and for that he is going to make her pay!
The relationship between Blair and Devlin is intense, dark and emotional. The things Devlin does to Blair is often cruel and humiliating, something which he seems to take pure pleasure in…until the point comes where he can’t break her. Blair is one of those strong, sassy heroines. Although she may be forced into doing things for Devlin, she is no one’s puppet and even coerces him into his own corner which was enjoyable and intriguing to read about.
There is so much going on in this book, from family dynamics, characters own self-worth and emotional trials and tribulations. But it is the development of the relationship that Blair and Devlin have that is so fascinating. It runs together so seamlessly (albeit with some communication issues along the way), but Blair is certainly Devlin’s saving grace and it is interesting to watch Devlin become part of a relationship and how they are meant to work, since he doesn’t have that with his parents. Scenes are sexy, intense, heart-breaking and just beautifully written about two characters that complement each other.
I can’t wait to see what book 3 has in store for us as it’s Bishop’s turn next! A must read for 2020!

It’s all about the mask!
In book one of this series, Lucas wore a mask in school as the King of the school and the football god while inside he was a completely different person that he kept hidden inside. He didn’t want to disappoint his parents or the team or all the people counting on him to go bring them a championship and go on to college football and the NFL. However, he just wanted to study architecture.
In this book, his cousin Devlin (aka The Devil) is now a senior and rules the school now that Lucas is off at college doing what he wanted. Devlin wears his own mask that even Lucas was unaware of. Before Lucas left, Devlin spent almost every waking hour with Lucas because his own house is an empty shell. His parents Travel for work and are almost never home.
Devlin communicates with his parents by short clinical text messages and rare phone calls. He has housekeepers that he rarely sees. In short, his parents don’t love him, they pay him off with monthly guilt checks and expect him to follow in their footsteps and become a doctor to boost the family name, but other than that would rather not be bothered with him. Though he keeps trying and hoping for something more from them.
Devlin has a habit of bullying the one person in school that doesn’t belong. For some reason he hates her though he doesn’t know why she bothers him so much. Her name is Blair Davis and she is a scholarship student from a trailer park across town. Blair can’t afford a proper school uniform and Devlin has caught her picking pockets so he nicknamed her “Sticky Fingers”. He regularly embarrasses her for being poor and has been known to dump her school lunches on the cafeteria floor a time or two.
When Devlin catches Blair in the act of stealing his favorite car, a Porsche he calls “Red”, he gives her the option of basically becoming his slave for pay or going to jail. Blair desperately needs money because her mother is sick and her father left them with huge debts so she has no option but to do the humiliating things Devlin comes up with for the cash he offers to pay her for each task.
Devlin starts out by wanting to get revenge on Blair for trying to steal from him, by embarrassing her as much as possible and also by showing her how much she doesn’t belong at their fancy private school. But as time goes on, he discovers a connection he has had to her for years and both Devlin and Blair discover how similar they are to each other in many ways.
The world building in this book is terrific and the characters are awesome. I like they way they grow and change throughout the book. I love the supporting characters as well as the steamy romance between Devlin and Blair. I give this five out of five flames for how sizzling hot the book was! The chemistry between these two was explosive and the intimate scenes were terrific.
I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
This was my first book by Veronica and I really, really enjoyed it. I absolutely love these dark adult high school bully enemies to lovers type of books. I just found another new author to add to my go to authors. What an absolutely thrilling ride!

-This book “Tempting Devil” by Veronica Eden was bully romance novel from her “Sinners and Saints” series. It was book two from the series. This story is about Blair (Gemma’s best friend) and Devlin (Lucas’s Cousin). The story takes place in high school.
-This story basically revolves around Blair and Devlin who hates each other and are always at each other throats and fight at their every encounter and Devlin tormenting and humiliating Blair for almost three years.
-About Characters, well, first of all I would say that Veronica writes best main characters and their personalities are always amazing in the stories.I absolutely love our female MC because she was so strong and so different then the females I read about in bully romance and let me tell you it’s not only because she fought tooth and nail with Devlin but because even in her lowest and most humiliating moments, she didn’t lose that fire and fight inside her, which for me is the strong trait in women and makes her best female MC for me.Second of all,I wanna say how much I fucking hated Devlin at first because he was such an asshole and had stupid pranks always up his sleeves and best ways to humiliate and torment Blair.I thought at first I wouldn’t love Devlin but his POV really changes my opinion and thoughts towards him.
-This book was so amazing, angsty and it will even make you laugh at some hilarious moments like Devlin redeeming himself for the water canteen prank in his own way.The best thing about this book was finding out that Blair and Devlin go way back then I actually thought.
-If you are looking for a good bully enemies to lovers romance with a strong female MC and an asshole male bully MC then this one is the best book you could go for.
This is the second book in the series. I have read/listened to each of them but not in order. Each are well written. This one stands out with the emotions in the story. You want to beat Devlin sometimes but love him too. The sass Blair has is amazing. All in all things progress how they are meant to. I absolutely love this epilogue! Great series. Narrators do an amazing job as well.
I received an ALC from Pink Flamingo Productions
So I thought I wasn’t going to like Devlin because of how horrible he is to Blair in book 1 of this series of standalones, and I will say I had to stop listening a couple times because of his treatment of her made me SO MAD. The bullying in this one was WAY worse than book 1. But when you realize why he is acting the way he is (I am not condoning his behavior one bit), you can understand why he is the way he is and see how Blair will be good for him. I thought the way she whittled down his walls and he didnt realize it until he was already a goner for her was quite adorable. Like he is such a caretaker (with Dom tendencies haha) and I really liked how he fell for her and wanted to be with her with the contract. I thought the idea was ludicrous, but with how Veronica handled it, I thought the flow was really good and everything. I felt so bad for Blair and her family situation. I had some similar things. happen to my mom and it made me fall for this story so quickly. I loved how Devlin was there to help her, Blair didnt back down with him, and they finally just talked things through to become an official couple. I will say the ending on this one made me smile so hard haha. So cute and amazing way to see their ending.
I thought the narration was done really well by Meg and Michael. I have listened to both of them before and I thought they did a great job delving into these characters and bringing them to life. The loneliness and brokenness of both MC and MMC was palpable and you can feel how they were so similar but complementary in their personalities. Their history and star references were so cute and I could feel the emotions through the performances when referencing those (like the tattoos).
I fell for Devlin so hard in this book and didnt want the audiobook to end! Easily 5/5 stars from me. Loved the cameos from Lucas and Gemma and the set-up for Thea and Connor for book 3. I loved Lucas’ parents coming into the picture too, since Devlin’s parents suck so bad and shouldn’t have been parents to begin with.
This book was soooo good, like I loved Lucas and Gemma but oh my good Devlin and Blair are amazing! Everything is a whole new level, seriously Devlin is darker than Lucas and I so love that. The plot was amazingly developed, honestly from beginning to end you can see how the feelings change in both characters, and once again Veronica does it with the dual POV, seriously that is my favorite thing about her writing right now! I actually get to KNOW both characters.
The characters were a blast to read, first Devlin my beautiful lonely boy that didn’t know hot to deal with his feelings. Something im loving from Veronica’s heroes is their 100% real struggles, like you can actually empathize with them because their feelings are so believable and Devlin’s feeling are so precious. I felt for him the whole book I wanted to hug him and tell him that everything was going to be okey and im so happy that he got his girl, his family and the life he deserves. Now to my sticky fingers, I love her, she is a badass and her relationship with her mother is just gold, she is gold. How she takes care of her people, she is si fucking strong, im in awe of her, also how she forgave Devlin for all the shit he put her trough ugh, you need to have THE biggest heart and she does.
In conclusion you need to read this series, and this book, and everything ever wrote by Veronica Eden. This is just my second book of her and I justo know I will be reading every book written by her. Now I go on to ruthless bishop because of all the teases from TD have me craving Bishop SO much and I’ve been told I get a glimpse of my crows (that’s right they’re mine) in the third book so here I go!
Great book. Absolutely loved Blair and Devlin. Particularly the car thieving part. Loved it. The sex scenes were too kindle melting. 5 stars.
I was intrigued by Devlin and Blair since Wicked Saint.
Devlin Murphy (aka THE DEVIL) rules the school. His life story is heart-breaking. He acts all cool but is lonely. Blair Davis is a scholarship student from a trailer park across the town. She is strong, always stood up for herself, she never let people walk all over her and tried to make the best out of unfortunate situations.
Devlin bully’s Blair and she steals his favourite Porsche “Red”, but she gets caught and he gives her the option of becoming his slave for it or pay by going to jail.
I really liked the moments between Devlin and Blair and the way their emotions finally got the best of them especially the time where they were at the roof watching stars and the time when they went for a run.
Also, I loved Devlin and Bishop’s friendship. The way they had their backs without even asking was amazing
Overall, I LOVED Tempting Devil and totally recommend it.
I had high expectations going into reading this one because I loved Wicked Saint and Veronica Eden did not disappoint. Devlin is a complete a-hole but also stole a piece of my heart. I loved that Blair even though she was in a tough situation she never backed down she always stood up for herself and the ones she cares about. These two have history and I like that we got a back story to them and how they ended up where they currently are. These two were completely drawn to each other and in the end completed one another perfectly. I was completely taken from page 1 and couldn’t put it down until I found out what was going to happen to these two and I was not disappointed…. Another WIN for me and high recommend everyone jump on it!
Wow, wow, wow….. I couldn’t put this down. Devlin & Blaire’s story is out of this world.
Devlin really is the devil but when he catches Blaire trying to steal his car….. all kinds of things start happening. Can’t really go into detail because I don’t want to spoil it but wow these two are fire and so well matched. They have connections they don’t even remember for a long time.
The story is….. I don’t even know how to describe it. Just out this world. Steamy, funny, hot headed, fierce, fiery, most amazing story line.
Veronica has pulled out all the stops on this one and you will not be left disappointed. It’s a real page Turner & you won’t be able to put it down.
Love this whole series. Devlin is right up there as one of my most fav’s and you’ll see why. Blaire is absolutely awesome too. A match well made.
5 stars all the way
This high school enemy/ bully brings Blair into The world of Devlin.. Blair is blackmailed by Devlin to do embarrassing acts for money. It’s his underhanded way to try destroy and break her. Blair proves to Devlin how strong and determined she is to to help pay family debts.
this is steamy hot, full of teenage angst, jealousy, betrayal, secrets and revenge.
Michael Gallagher and Meg Sylvan are excellent vocal performers. Wow, they really brought this story to life! Every emotion, every voice , every character was perfection! They flawlessly transitioned from one character to another. Thank you for the great listen!

Audio Review:
Tempting Devil (Dark New Adult High School Bully Romance) (Sinners and Saints) began at a slow pace for me and as the story progressed it became more captivating. The last few hours of the story drew me in and I really enjoyed getting to know Blair and Drvlin. I also enjoyed learning about their history. This author did a wonderful job at creating characters who grow and develop throughout their romance. I enjoyed this audio more than book one. This high school dark bully romance takes a different direction and uniquely weaves a different type of bully. Meg Sylvan, Michael Gallagher performance was smooth and easy listening. Both narrators brought the characters and story to life. A entertaining listen.
I really liked this book so much so I reread many times.
Even though Devlin do things I wanted to punch him at the same time hug. I don’t know tho. I really liked dev.
And Blair too. She’s is strong heroine. I really felt something read this book.
I wanted to read about dev from wicked saint only. There’s something mysterious about him. I love mysterious characters so much.
I really enjoyed this book.
How even heroine is Trapped. She handled.
And twists in the story are really good. No, amazing, really.
I really recommend this book.
Tempting Devil was so intense and so much emotional turmoil. Tempting Devil made me laugh, cry, want to yell, want to cheer Blair and Devlin. Tempting Devil had lots of ups, downs, twist, turns, things going sideways, heat, and lots of feels. Tempting Devil had my head spinning and emotions all in a whirlwind. Veronica Eden did a fantastic job with Tempting Devil. Veronica created a very emotional story and there was some very bad parts that I wish I could have slapped Blair to make her come to her sense. I have to say that Veronica was able to make certain scene seem like it could be a realty for some poor girls and how they start living a life of despair. I am so glad that things worked out. I won’t say any more so I don’t spoil the story for future readers. I think that Tempting Devil might be my favorite of the Sinners and Saints series. I have only recent started reading books by Veronica Eden and I have to say she is becoming one of my favorite authors. I highly recommend Tempting Devil. Hope you will all enjoy reading Tempting Devil. Warning have some Kleenex on hand.
Enemies to lovers bully romance. This is Devlin and Blair’s story, their individual stories are quite interesting and intriguing, the plot started strong and had a great interesting refreshing side, but somehow I missed something. The narrators Meg Sylvan and Michael Gallagher did a great job narrating it, and I am a lover of this trope so definitely entertaining, I might have liked it more than the first in the series, will love to hear the next one.
Tempting Devil is a twisted bully romance focused on Devlin, the popular bad boy, ruler of the school, whose parents don’t have time for him, and Blair, a girl who doesn’t fit in at the school due to her lack of money and lack of status. When Blair finds herself even more down her luck due to her mother’s health issues and mounting bills, she finds herself considering things she never would before, which puts her right in the path of Devlin…and things will never be the same. What starts off as a way for Blair to earn some money, even if she has to be at Devlin’s beck and call to get it, turns in to much more than either of them could have ever expected. Unfortunately, both have a whole lot of baggage and trust issues, causing each person to doubt whether anything between them could actually be real.
I struggled a little bit at first with both main characters as Devlin was over the top jerky and Blair seemed too weak, and I was not sure how they would ever realistically be able to come together romantically. Having said that, they both grew on me and I think the author did a great job showing growth in both characters throughout the course of the story/book to where their relationship not only seemed believable but I also found myself rooting for them.
I was engaged and invested in this story line from the start. I listened to the audio version and did not want to put it down.
Veronica, you did it again. This series keeps getting better and better. The story continues from the perspective of Gemma’s best friend, Blair. We get to explore the relationship that we saw a little bit with Devlin, in the first book. She struggles in her life because her mom has a difficult disease that causes major expenses on a daily basis. She tries her best to balance pickpocketing the rich pricks in her school and helping her mom in everything she can. One day she decides to go big or go home, so she takes revenge on Devlin for everything he does to her, and still his favorite car. Not everything goes as expected and Devlin seeks for revenge and gets a deal to become ‘his owner’.With that being said, this is a bully romance that gets very emotional and nerve-wracking. The characters evolve into something quite different from one part of the book to the other. Some secrets get revealed and the perspective from the book changes. I even cry in this book and that took me by surprise because I was enjoying it a lot. Don’t get me wrong, just let me warn you, not everyone is as bad as they look, and not everything is as simple as we think. We have to leave it to the stars and hope for their future. 3rd Book is LIVE!
