New York Times and USA Today Best-Selling Paranormal Romance Author Felicity Heaton presents:
Tempted by a Rogue Prince (Eternal Mates Paranormal Romance Series Book 3)
An elf prince on the verge of losing himself to the darkness, Vail is maddened by the forty-two centuries he was under the control of a witch and forced to war with his brother. Now, he roams Hell seeking an escape from his … from his terrible past and the heads of all who bear magic. When demons of the Fifth Realm capture him, he sees a chance to end his existence, but when he wakes in a cell to a beautiful female, he finds not death but his only shot at salvation—his true fated mate.
Captured by the enemy of the Third Realm when the war ended, Rosalind has spent months in the cells of the Fifth Realm with her magic bound, forced to heal the new king’s demon warriors, and haunted by the lives she has taken. Unwilling to fall under the control of anyone ever again, Vail must escape before the Fifth King can use him as a pawn in a deadly game of revenge, but he cannot leave without Rosalind, the woman who looks at him with dark desire in her stunning eyes and awakens a fierce hunger in his heart. A witch who drives him mad with need even as the darkness within whispers she will enslave him too.
Can Rosalind escape her fate as they embark on a journey fraught with danger and resist the temptation of her rogue elf prince? And can Vail overcome the memories that madden him in order to seize his chance for salvation and the heart of his fated female forever?

“She was going to crack his armour and mend his heart, and then she was going to claim it as hers and him as her mate.”
I’d been interested in getting to Vail and Rosalind’s story after reading the first book. How Vail had come to be known as the ‘Mad Elf Prince’ was largely unknown. After being deceived initially, I was looking forward to seeing Vail find his true Ki’ara and hopefully, find the happiness, freedom, and companionship he’s been deprived of for thousands of years.
I knew Vail’s story would be a tragic one, but I’d underestimated how heartbreaking it truly was. The majority of Vail’s life has been lonely and shameful. Millennia of being tortured, used, and tricked has left Vail living in fear and condemnation. Despite how happy he should be finding Rosalind, his damaged psyche rejects this chance of happiness. Rosalind herself knows trepidation and a guilty conscience. A prophecy fortelling her death at the hands of an elf prince is now closer than ever.
“We are light and darkness, you and I… and perhaps one cannot survive without the other… perhaps fate brought us together because of that.”
Vail and his ‘Little Wild Rose’s’ journey is not an easy one. Vail’s whiplash-like psyche is a repetitive struggle and it can be quite confusing. Seeing Vail learn to trust and plan for a future was great.
Once again, I am in love with the creative world Felicity Heaton has created. There are so many characters, realms, and species to explore further. I will definitely be continuing with book 4.
Loved this 3 book of the series. So well written.
Yet again, I loved this book; start to finish. This series has been wonderful thus far. I continue to look forward to the next book!
Vail is Loren’s (male lead of book 1 Kissed By A Dark Prince) younger brother who played a huge roll in the first book and a small role in the second. Though it is possible to read this by itself, I wouldn’t actually suggest it. You would miss a LOT and I think a chunk of the story being gone would make this a much less enjoyable read. Honestly, the last three books all take place very close to one another (within months) so it’s best to read them in order.
We learned of Vail’s enslavement in the first book and he is also freed from it at the end. In this book we get to see how that is affecting him. It really is heart-wrenching, I can’t lie. He made me hurt for him constantly, as well as root for him. Rosalind is the witch we meet in book two who helps Thorne and Sable both before and during the war. We get to see how she takes her role in that war during the course of this book as well. Really, both of them made me want to smother them in hugs, not gonna lie. They do a great job of helping one another to heal, once they get themselves free of their prison.
The book is full of action (there is death and blood), adventure, interesting worlds, great characters and character building, steamy (if sometimes a bit violent) romance, tear-jerking backstories, and wonderful characters that you can’t help but love. If this is your thing (and who’s isn’t it, really?) then give this series a go! I really don’t see how you can be disappointed. Now for Kyter’s book!
When everything has been taken from you and yet your immortal what else is there to do but wander? Veil was ensnared by a evil witch named Cordula and forced to do unspeakable things to all those he loved.
Now he is face to face with another witch, this time named Roslyn who is trying to heal him once he is captured by the demon king of the 5th realm of hell. Every instinct in him is telling him to kill her before she can cast her spell on him.
Only thing is maybe it is too late…for both of them.
