Take a tropical paradise, add an irresistibly hot boss and a dash of temptation. What do you get? A recipe for disaster…Katrina Caldwell loves her job managing the spa at the tropical Breakers Bay beach resort. One of the many perks is getting to work for hotter than hot Brandon Jacobs. She knows it’s a mistake to let herself fall for him—he’s made it clear that he’s all business. But every … all business. But every time she’s near him, he makes her feel things she thought she’d never feel again.
Brandon doesn’t have time for dating. Every bit of energy he has goes into the resort he’s worked hard to transform into the greatest vacation destination around, and Katrina is a temptation he just can’t indulge—even if he can’t get her off his mind.
The closer they get, the harder it is to avoid their undeniable chemistry. When it becomes too much to resist, Brandon makes Kat an offer—one she knows will only lead to heartache. Can she give in to her desires and still keep her heart intact?

Tempt Me, by Christine Kingsley, is a fun and easy beach read. I enjoyed reading about Brandon and Kat as they struggle to resist the forces of mutual attraction and love. The setting is a gorgeous resort, making this novel a perfect Spring or Summer reading adventure! I hope to read more by Christine Kingsley. Tempt Me is a most enjoyable escape! Highly recommend!
I was excited to read more about Brandon and Katrina after their introduction in Rescue Me. There’s been attraction between them since he first hired her, but being her employer and facing potential sexual harassment charges, Brandon felt he couldn’t act on it. Kat proves she more than just a yoga instructor with her advice that helps Brandon grow his resort. But she has to deal with rich parents who want to buy Breakers Bay Beach Resort, bring her back home to New York, and marry off to their friend’s son Brock, who hits on all the women and doesn’t understand monogamy. I feel sorry for the woman he’s in love with. Brandon is all work and no play trying to save his resort and Kat teaches him to make time to cut loose and have fun. They were good for each other. It was also great to catch up with Meredith and Cole from Rescue Me. This was a funny, sexy, and sweet tropical romance.
I am in love with the Breakers Bay series. I fell in love with Kat and Brandon from the start. I love how Kat was able to open Brandon’s eyes and show him there is more to life than work. I enjoyed seeing how their romance blossomed from a great friendship to a strong, healthy, unconditional romance. I’m hoping Taylor’s story is coming soon!
Christine Kingsley’s writing has everything I look for in a book. I have a lot going on in my life right now and her words, her storytelling, this series, it’s allowed me to escape my reality. She took me to a world where love is kind, love is right, love is true. I don’t have the words to express how grateful I am for that escape. Thank you, Christine.
I highly recommend this series and this author!
A feel-good romance with likeable characters and a tropical backdrop, no contrived angst – a straight forward, enjoyable romantic story with some steamy scenes. The first in the series, Rescue Me, was equally as good. Highly recommend.
Another well written perfectly paced story pulling you in from the start. A beach resort I would visit just from reading these stories. This one was about how Kat and Brandon get together coming from different backgrounds and working it out. Cannot wait to read the next book in the series.
An amazing heartwarming fun and entertaining friends, coworkers, to lovers romance. The characters have great witty banter and are interesting, well developed including great chemistry as these opposites compliment and bring out the best in the other. The storyline is engaging in this action packed romance that includes awesome engaging secondaries with humor, heat and a few misteps for a smooth flowing beach read. I voluntarily reviewed this ARC
Brandon is the owner of Breakers Bay Beach Resort and a workaholic. Kat has been promoted to spa manager and thinks Brandon needs to let loose and just be, lol. She goes about making sure he does just that. What happens when their feelings change? Can the workaholic find happiness or will he have to be content with his work? Grab your copy and enjoy this romantic beach read. I loved the surprise Katrina had for Brandon. I hope that we will get to read Taylor’s story in the future.
Kingsley perfectly combines sweet and heat in this second in The Breakers Bay series, Tempt Me.
Well rounded characters drive this friends to lovers romance at a pleasing pace. This book is loaded with sweet romance and has just enough heat to call it spicy.
I enjoyed this story and highly recommend it to fans of the contemporary romance genre. I voluntarily read and reviewed a complementary copy of this book.
This is a feel good read. Has humor, some heat, and of course the missteps along the way. Brandon and Kat are two very different people that complement each other and bring out the best of each other when they are together.
I received a free copy of the book and I am voluntarily leaving a review

I received a free copy of the short sweet romance novel Tempt Me(Breakers Bay book 2 aka Sunset Bay book 2} by Christine Kingsley and this review was given freely.
Complex , emotional and mildly steamy with interesting characters. This opposites attract workplace romance is set at the Sunset Bay Resort, contains excerpts of resort life, the continued romance of Meredith and her fiance Cole, the attraction filled tension between Brandon and the spa manager and yoga instructor Kat, and Kat’s stress as her resort baron parents along with their choice for a fiance descend on the resort.
Just as enjoyable the second time.

Tempt Me is the third sweet romance by Christine Kingsley set at the Sunset Bay Resort. How Kat and Brandon deal with the tension of their developing feelings, balance running the Resort with finding time together and, the added interference of Kat’s family make this an interesting and heart warming story. I also enjoyed the continued story of Brandon’s sister Meredith and her fiance Cole.
