New York Times bestselling author Chantal Fernando returns to the Knights of Fury series with her most complicated hero yet. He may be the epitome of cool, but this MC President isn’t called Temper for nothing… Every year, the hot, tatted biker comes into Abbie’s bar, orders whiskey, and asks her out. Every year, Abbie turns him down. After all, dating a man that goes by Temper seems like a … Every year, Abbie turns him down. After all, dating a man that goes by Temper seems like a really bad idea, no matter how attracted she is to him.
But this year is different. Abbie’s different. Older, wiser, and tired of being stuck behind the bar in a sleepy town. This year, she’s ready for whatever adventure the sexy but sweet biker has in store for her.
Or so she thinks…until an elegant candlelit dinner ends with a dead body.
Now, Abbie finds herself on the ride of her life, whisked away to the big city in Temper’s protective custody. She should be scared but—despite his nickname—it’s clear the last thing Temper would ever do is hurt a hair on her head. And when danger catches up with them, Abbie soon realizes that holding tight to her man while straddling a Harley may be the safest place of all.

“These men are the definition of shades of gray. Men you want on your side, not against you. They have no boundaries or limits. They are good and bad.”
Um…Temper, yes, he has one. But, that doesn’t define him. He’s also very patient. He’d have to be because he’s been asking Abbie out for years and he hasn’t given up. They were instantly attracted to each other, so maybe it was insta-lust, but their age difference kept the embers smoldering rather than bursting into flame. But now that she’s finally said yes, better keep your fire extinguisher nearby. You wouldn’t want your reading device to melt before you get to the even better parts.
While each book in the Knight of Fury series features a different couple that doesn’t mean the behind-the-scenes club business doesn’t continue from book-to-book. The author does a great job of keeping the suspense alive and makes her readers work for it. I can’t tell you how much I enjoy that part of her writing. And…the awesome and colorful support characters…and the HOT sex…and the sweet that comes out of the badass bikers when they fall for the right woman…sigh.
I won’t give away the goods, you need the excitement that comes with the unknown and the fun of guessing and being surprised. But, I can tell you to expect the unexpected. I’m looking forward to spending more time with this fierce and funny family as the series progresses. The line forms here…
This was book 3 in the “Knights of Fury” . This was a really good book Abbie works at her families bar in a small town in Nevada Temper has being going to the bar for years he ask her out but she always turns him down this year when he ask her she says yes. This was a really good read they had a good date until Temper gets a call from one of the knights and takes her with him when they are attacked and Renny kills one of the attackers and Temper kidnaps her. The Knights have a lot going on someone is coming after them again. Abbie makes the best of her time in California by going site seeing she is also dealing with her mother who is overprotective of her 28 year old daughter. When they learn that a drug kingpin is asking about the MC Abbie finds out that the man is her father and they also learn that Georgia who is Skylar’s mother is the one behind the attacks. When kidnap Dee the knights go to get him only to have Temper taken and Abbie isn’t having it and they go to get him with Abbie shooting her the real shock is that Georgia’s husband Neville is the kingpin Grayson who is Abbie’s father is the same person. This was a good read Abbie is good for Temper and he for her when she goes home she faces her mother and decides that she is ready to leave the nest. This book was well written and the narration was good this book had no errors in grammar or spelling.
3.75*
I have read quite a few books by this author and on the whole I’ve enjoyed them.
The same goes for this book. Temper and Abbie have been circling each other for 5 years until she finally gives in. As soon as she says yes to him, all hell breaks loose.
As this is the third in the series (can be read as a standalone like I did) there are some minor details that I feel might have been filled in had I read the other books in the series, but on the whole I didn’t miss anything major only reading this as a standalone.
I do enjoy this authors writing, even if they are on the more polished side of other MC romances I’ve read. That’s not a criticism at all. There’s a lot going on in this book. Action, adventure. Angst, Romance. Steam. Family drama. it’s all there.
I loved getting glimpses of the side characters and I’ll definitely be picking up the other books in this series and crossing my fingers that there are more book to come.
I received this book via NetGalley and have agreed to leave an honest opinion..
Every year Temper stops at the bar Abby runs, on hi way elsewhere. He sits, has a drink and chats with Abby and asks her out…and she nicely refuses him. Abby’s mom owns the bar but Abby runs it as her mom has not been well. She has a sister a few years younger who she is very close to and remains a good role modet.
Abby had to sacrifice though. She was in college but had to quit to help run the bar. This year may be different as she has refused the date with Temper for like the last 5 years. She’s tired…tired out running the bar with no help from her family, no social life and no real friends besides those that work at the bar.
When Temper comes through town again he stops in as usual except this time she accepts his dinner date!
Need I say this will change her life?? Even though they really enjoy their date it doesn’t end as expected and Abby must now go back home with Temper so he can keep her safe.
Can he keep her safe while the violence is around them?
I have read almost all of this author’s MC titles and have enjoyed them all. I alsways look forward to another book from Ms. Fernandez!
I love love loved this book! The twists that happened had my jaw hitting the floor! I never seen them coming! I can’t wait until the next book in this awesome series!! And can we please get a book for Grayson??
Abbie is a bartender and tired of living in a small town. Temper is president of an mc with his eyes on her. He has come by every year for a drink and to ask Abbie out on a date. This time Abbie accepts but the end result is a dead body with her and Temper on the run on his bike. When trouble comes Abbie discovers the safest place to be is with Temper.
I received a copy of this book via Netgalley and am leaving a review.
This was a nice read… very entertaining. If I don’t get to read an MC book every now and then, I get really cranky and Chantal Fernando is definitely one of my go-to MC authors 😉
This book can be read as a stand-alone, though I find reading them in order does make the reading more pleasurable, because of all the side-characters.
This time around we get Temper’s story, the president of the Knights of Fury MC. I always enjoy the president’s books a tad bit more…they are just that tad bit more alpha 😛
Abbie was also a wonderful character and the age gap trope was the lovely sprinkle on top.
For me, this book was the perfect blend of fun, action, suspense, and romance. I had a wonderful time reading it and I am curious to see what’s next.
I really enjoyed this latest book in the Knights of Fury series!! This is my first time reading this series and if your new to it like I was you won’t be lost. Whenever Temper is in Abbie’s family owned bar, he asks her out with her saying no everytime. This time Abbie asks him, she is ready for a night of fun. Temper sees this as his chance and plans the most romantic date he can and Abbie appreciates the effort he put into this date. Until it turns into something completely unplanned and she ends up being kidnapped back to Temper’s MC clubhouse. To say that Abbie is mad is an understatement and Temper pays for that lol but once she gets to know Temper, the other members of the MC and their ladies she begins to understand that while Temper didn’t necessarily make the best fly by the pants decision, his heart was in the right place. There were lots of twists and turns and events that they didn’t see coming but the love and connection that Temper and Abbie shared will help them get though anything. I really loved their story, I was hooked from beginning to end. I am making it a point to read the first 2 books in this series cause of how much I really liked this book. I highly recommend to all and I can’t wait to read more from this series and this author. Well done!!!!
I really liked this book! I have to say after reading the previous two books in the series I have been looking forward to Temper and Abbie’s story. I was sucked in from the very beginning and didn’t want to put the book down. This book does bring closure from things that happened in the last two books. If you are looking for a real gritty MC series this isn’t the one for you. As far as MCs go this one is pretty mild. I didn’t mind it though. I am hoping that the series will continue on as there are plenty of other characters that I’d love to read about! Overall though I would recommend this book to others!
Received an arc for an honest review
MC President Temper who shows no real feelings or even hint of a smile finally ends up on a long waiting date with Abbie. The date with Temper is going well for the Abbie except for the last part where she ends up kidnaped from MC Club. It takes a while for Abbie’s blood to cool down. In the meantime, she ends up to know all the members of the club and their special wants, and all the dynamic of the club. Of course, the first attraction with the Temper escalates in an explosion between the sheets. Abbie’s relationship with her overprotective mother is on shaky ground, and will she be strong enough to break free? The story is typical in Chantal Fernando style and we have one sassy strong heroine against stubborn strong alpha biker. This story is for me the best from the series. I like the unpredictable factor and all the twists. Both Temper and Abbie are ok and they make a great couple
I volunteered to review an ARC of this book for NetGalley

Temper has spent years asking Abbie out, but every time she said no and there’s only so many times a man can hear no before he gives up. Abbie has given up school, and any chance of the future she wanted after her mum became ill and when it seems like he’s finally given up asking, Abbie thought maybe this is her one chance at adventure and living a little, so after 5 years of saying no Abbie finally says yes to going out on a date with Temper. Well, that date sure went a different way than any of them planned! Whisked away, can Abbie forgive Temper for what happened and will he ever get a second chance at earning her love and trust?
This was a really good read. It had plenty going on with some drama, action and of course the steamy bits and the story didn’t stop, always something going on. I give Temper 5 stars.

The third installment of the Knights of Fury MC, and I will suggest reading Saint and Renegade before Temper; just so you are up to speed on everything that has taken place and know who certain people are. IMO this is NOT a standalone as we go back to deal with characters from book one. For the past five years, Temper has made a run that took him to Franks, a bar that Abbie’s family runs. For five years he has asked her out once a trip and each time has been turned down. This year he wasn’t even going to bother, until Abbie mentions him asking. Taking that chance is the best thing he did, Abbie agrees and gets a date she will never forget, the ending of that date.. that is something she will definitely never forget as it’s what gets her in trouble. Temper is asking her to trust him; should she after what he has done?
Well, this certainly threw us into some drama, danger, violence, some spicy hot moments; super entertaining and never a dull moment. I am ready to see what comes next; I give this 4.5 stars.
After stopping at a bar in Nevada every year Temper has been asking the hot Abbie out and every year she turns him down. Well this year she decided to go for it and asked Temper out, she is tired of playing it safe and just wants to experience the attraction they have to each other. But the date didn’t go as planned. A gunfight and a kidnapping and now Temper is taking Abbie back to his Clubhouse in LA to be protected by the club.
Lots of suspense and action and some hot steamy moments and man I loved it. Chantal Fernando’s bikers books has always made me giddy when I see a new release and this one was no different. You could immediately feel the chemistry between Abbie and Temper. Loved every minute of this read, and I hope we don’t have to wait to long for the next book

Temper was the third book in Chantal Fernando’s Knights of Fury series.
Temper was the MC’s President. Through his travels, he would pass through a small town a few times a year. He frequented a family run bar and asked the bar tender out every year. Every year she turned him down. This happened for five years, until this year when she accepted.
Abbie was the daughter of the bar’s owner. Her mother ran it but had been sick so Abbie quit school and took over temporarily until her mother could grab the reins again. She needed a break and the big, gorgeous, scary biker could offer that with one date. Until the date took an unexpected turn.
Fernando took us through a suspenseful plot while unraveling the relationship between Abbie and Temper and meshing it with the MC. Part of the plot was a continuation of the previous books while simultaneously new events were introduced. It was interesting but also a tad slow. And it got a little weird, but that’s part of fiction, so it can pass, but there were some gaps that were left wide open – and I’m still confused on how it was relevant. I wanted more depth and detail.
In the end, It wasn’t my favorite of Fernando’s writings, but it will be for others. I’m invested so curious to see where Fernando takes the series next. Onward and upward.
I loved Temper and Abbie…Temper has been trying yo get Abboe to go out with him on a date for 5 years….Finally she agrees but what happens changes both of their lives..
Abbie has lived a sheltered and quiet life…well buckle up for a great ride…
I miss the the Knights of Fury MC…
I want MORE!
First of all, you can never go wrong with a Chantal Fernando book! She can do an MC series like nobody else…and Knights of Fury is no exception. This is a standalone novel, but of course, it’s always helpful to read the books that come before it. In this case, I’m grateful to have read Books 1 & 2 so that I could appreciate both the hard and soft sides of Temper. For the past 5 years, the Knights have passed through Abbie’s small town and stopped in her bar every time, and each time, the older, much rougher Temper tries his hand at asking out the very shy barkeep. Finally, she gives in, they have an amazing date, and drama, violence, and recklessness ensues afterward, causing Temper to make a decision that will forever change Abbie’s life and view on the world. Temper has an extremely rough side to him that really intimidates Abbie, so we spend some time watching the two of them get to know each other while also learning to navigate each other’s worlds. It’s a fantastic and more realistic take on the MC romance genre. The characters are both very relatable and I found myself not wanting to put the book down, always wanting to find out what’s on the next page and what’s in store for the couple. I don’t know how many books are planned for the series, but I hope there are plenty more because it’s not hard to fall in love with every single character in the Knights of Fury world. Definitely recommend this read to anyone who loves MC romance with a nice amount of suspenseful drama.
This book had so many twist and turns, it definitely kept me on my toes. Temper was so sweet and lovable, Abbie was just as lovable. These two were perfect for one another, but with all that happens will they come out together or apart? Loved this book and can’t wait for the next one.
4 stars
I love Chantal’s MC books! I adore when the tatted up, badboys go all sweet and tender with their women. That’s exactly what you’ll get with Temper.
Temper has been lusting after a certain sweet, sexy bar owner for over 5 years but every year, she turns him down. As the President of an MC, Temper doesn’t get rejected all that often but something makes him keep going back. There’s something about her. Maybe this year she’ll decide to take a walk on the wild side.
When she finally accepts a date with the bad boy prez, it’s Temper’s time to shine. He’s sweet and tender to her, defying his moniker. But when things turn dangerous, she sees him morph into the president of an MC, like she remembers him to be. Rushing her to his turf in LA, she grows wings and puts down roots with his MC family.
There are quite a few surprises in this one but it was a such a good ride! Loved it and can’t wait for more!
AnnMarie – Alphas Do It Better Book Blog
Not having read the previous installments in the Knights of Fury MC series had me concerned that I might feel left out when reading this book, but since MC-themed romances are my obsession I forged ahead wholeheartedly. And what I found was an enjoyable tale, a bit predictable a time or two but no less entertaining courtesy of an appealing main couple. Bartender Abbie has led Temper on a merry chase for five years of him asking her out and her saying no…until the one night where she says yes and which takes her on an exhilarating motorcycle ride away from danger and straight towards HEA. From the first page to the last theirs is a sizzling journey, with a few speed bumps along the way, that kept me frantically turning the pages to see where fate took them next.
Abbie’s an immensely likable heroine. She was once on her way to becoming a lawyer before her mother’s health issues had her running the family bar instead. She’s set her dreams aside in order for her sister to live her own life and is the caretaker to a mother who doesn’t appreciate the sacrifices she’s made near enough. Abbie’s just going through the motions of living, putting everyone and everything ahead of herself, except for those rare nights when the sexy biker Temper comes calling. He’s given her a chance to break out of her shell over the last five years and she’s said no…until the night she throws caution to the wind in saying yes. What starts off as a regular dinner out soon ends in a hail of bullets and blood. To keep her safe though Temper brings her fully into his world and from there she discovers an untapped well of inner strength that made her the perfect addition to Temper’s world. Being with the men and women of the Knights of Fury brings Abbie newfound confidence, makes her a strong support to Temper, and I enjoyed seeing the weight of the world lifted off her just when she needed strength the most.
Temper’s truly a temptation when this story starts, giving Abbie a glimpse of freedom whenever he shows up at the bar and I can’t imagine how hard it must have been to tell him no so many times. Temper’s a bit older than Abbie but has no problem making me drool as he exudes sexiness. Below that is something even more appealing…a kind and caring heart that’s easily on display when he’s with Abbie. Though he wants to impress her on their first date, he’s left no choice but to kidnap her to keep her safe after she sees something she shouldn’t. I thoroughly enjoyed the dichotomy of control and kindheartedness surrounding Temper, found him and his actions decadently delightful. He and Abbie were a match made in heaven and the longer they were together the more formidable their pairing became in a story full of exciting twists and turns.
On a whole this was a very satisfying read with a good balance of steam and suspense. Abbie was a likable heroine who grew stronger with each turn of the page. She made a new life for herself amongst the members of the MC, found a new family who unconditionally appreciated all that she was, and her personal journey had me cheering. Temper’s a dirty white knight with a hidden heart of gold whose connection to Abbie jumped off the pages and had me holding on for dear life, both in and out of the bedroom. While this storyline is nothing new, it was presented in a way that pulls readers into this couple’s world, from the exciting drama to the appealing secondary characters. Into a genre that’s already a bit crowded, Ms. Fernando has nicely set up shop with this exhilarating ride into the sunset that has me waiting to see what comes next.
So excited this series is continuing! This book focuses around Temper, the current MC president, and how he finally gets his chance with the girl he’s asked out for 5 years without success until now. Abbie has resigned herself to working and running the family bar and never following her dreams or finishing school, but every year Temper comes in and asks her out and she shuts him down – until she decides to take a chance. That chance spirals when Abbie witnesses something involving the MC and Temper essentially kidnaps her back to the clubhouse and changes their lives forever. There were a few surprises along the way, such as the identity of Abbie’s father, but I was so interested in figuring out who was behind hurting the MC and once they’re identified, how they finally take them down once and for all. Same as the past two books, I love the MC universe that Chantal provides in these stories, and getting to know the others in the MC as well as seeing what happens to the couples after the previous stories and the storyline flows great. I’ll be interested in seeing who’s next and if this series continues – I hope it does!
I voluntarily read and reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
Even though this is a series each are stand alones and I had no problem following even though I haven’t read the previous ones. Temper has asked Abbie out for the last 5 years. When he’s in town he makes a stop at her bar, asks her out only to get a no which he’s now use to at this point but she finally says yes he knows this is his shot and all goes well until things take a huge turn and the only thing that matters to Temper is keeping Abbie safe no matter the cost.
