GOOD
Well written and plotted. Characters seemed real even though drawn in broad strokes.pcleary
Kept me guessing. I liked it very much.
Liked the characters and story line. Ready for books 2 and 3.
Enjoyable, easy read, interesting characters
I enjoyed the book and will read more by this author
Good story if you can suspend disbelief with some of the “police procedure.”
Needed some more substance, but was an okay read.
Episodic plot with many characters. Ending was a big reveal rather than anything that could be deduced, making it a detective story rather than a mystery. Still an ok read.
Interesting small-town mystery/detective story set in northern New Hampshire. Appealing characters including very smart and lovable dog. Have read first three in series and will buy the next once available.
Slow to start but finished well and with a bit of mistery to read the next
I loved this book! Interesting and likeable characters that are easily relatable. I can’t wait to read the next two books in the series.
An OK read.
Very good mystery. Part of a series with continuing characters & I enjoy that.
The only thing I didn’t like about the book was how they built up the investigation about Tyler’s death and found out at the end you would learn more about it in the next book. It’s kind of like buying a hamburger but you don’t get the bottom bun.
I look forward to reading more books by this author. I enjoyed the twists in the plot.
Great read
Good story , likable characters
This should be listed as a teen read. There was too much repetition of descriptions of locations, offices, etc. Some parts were unbelievable. (Why did the chief need to be told that stray dogs are euthanized? He should know that,)
I want all of the mysteries solved.
