From USA Today bestselling author, Willow Winters, comes a seductive and emotionally captivating second-chance romance. It’s impossible to get over what we had. He was everything — irresistibly handsome, ruthlessly elite, and seemingly untouchable — while I was nothing.Yet he protected me when I was at my lowest; more than that, he wanted me. He devoured me… and I did the same to him.Until it all … same to him.
Until it all fell apart and I ran as far away from Madox as I could. After all, the two of us were never meant to be together.
I never thought I’d see him again, years later. Let alone be under him in the way I’ve craved since we said goodbye.
The attraction between us still burns like fire, but time can’t change the past. And I don’t know if it’s possible for us to mend all of our broken pieces.
“Winters creates another masterpiece of beautiful storytelling and leaves her readers breathless.” – Nicki – The Overflowing Bookcase
This romance was originally published in the Cards of Love collection. It has been revised with additional scenes. Happy reading xx.

Eeeep! New second chance romance with a rich, dominant and damaged hero. It’s an emotional roller coaster that pulls out the gut feelings of first loves and old habits. Willow Winters brings the raw emotion that will rip us to pieces…and piece us back together!
4*

Great story
This book was previously published under the Cards of Love series, but has been revised and added onto make Tell Me To Stay.
Madox and Sophie are beyond complex. They don’t deal with their issues in a healthy way. They didn’t exactly have the best teachers. But after everything of the past, comes to the future, things needed to change, and it falls on these two very flawed characters to see if they could change. What they have is deep. It transcends time in some aspects. This couple has run the gamut of emotions in their relationship. You can’t even say the highs and lows, because they have surpassed that many times over. These characters will make you angry at their antics, and cry at their pain, then rejoice in their love. And they will not leave you disappointed either.
This is a very intriguing and very good book about love and second chance. It’ll definitely leave you hooked and just loving everything about it. Madox and Sophie are and will always be in love with each other no matter how long they’ve been apart, they are still drawn to each other. Amazing!!!
Madox and Sophie will break your heart all over again, and let you see all the broken pieces inside. This book is a re-release with a new name and cover, but also more to the story. I love this updated version, with more from both characters. It’s worth buying and reading again, and letting your heart break just a little more. Loved it.
Tell Me To Stay is a re-release of the Three of Swords. However Willow has interjected some extra scenes into the story with really add to the magic from the original material. The new additions amp up the chemistry and fill in the back story of Madox and Sophie allowing us to really become invested in this second chance romance. I loved it just as much if not more the second time around. So below is my original review for the novel:
Tell Me To Stay is an epic second chance romance with a bucket load of chemistry. The book is written in dual POV and as always Willow smashes the male POV out of the park for me. The balance is spot on for the banter with friends, his yearnings for the woman he loves; as well as the inner musings and reluctance he feels about taking what he wants.
Sophie is the heroine of the story here and she finds herself entangled with our Hero Madox during a chance meeting when they were teenagers. After 3 years of a relationship, Sophie runs leaving Madox behind and breaking her heart in the process. Several years later we join Sophie taking a new job and about to make the move back to New York. Her first night in the city she finds herself drawn to a local bar, once in there she comes face to face with Madox.
Despite the years apart their chemistry leaps off the page almost immediately, I couldn’t wait for both characters to interact and I wasn’t disappointed. Willow knows how to amp up the steam factor and Madox and Sophie oooze sexual tension that ignites in a way neither can walk away from. We know from Madox’s POV that he has never stopped loving Sophie, and between the two perspectives of our leading characters you get the feeling that something doesn’t quite add up in their history. This is why I love second chance romances, things aren’t always what they seem, watching the characters figure their feelings out and try to fight the inevitable keeps me completely engrossed and Willow masters this with great skill.
Madox is a character who isn’t quite what I expected, from Sophie’s perspective she recalls him closed off, stern, never really affected by what surrounds him, almost uncaring. However once we read segments from Madox’s point of view, you find yourself smitten by a man that is completely besotted by Sophie, she is his world and cannot think of a life without her. I mean how can you not get your swoon on over a man who thinks like that?
Tell Me To Stay was an addictive second chance romance, giving you the steam, the chemistry, an all consuming love affair and a few twists and turns along the way to keep you on your toes. For a novella it fills the plot line out nicely, with character depth and a back story that is appropriately fleshed out and doesn’t leave you wanting. All I wanted as always with any of Willow’s books is more.
Madox and Sophie’s second chance love story is an emotional read of angst, heart wrenching emotions, with hurt on both sides. A page turner with miscommunications and mistakes, the reader is given a beautiful story of healing as Madox and Sophie learn to communicate as they find their way back to each other. It is a story not to be missed, *I was gifted a copy of “Tell Me To Stay”*. My opinion is my own. This is mine. 4.5 Stars!
Absolutely loved this love – hate chemistry between Madox and Sophie. Hold on to your seats, this book is going to take your emotions on one major roller coaster ride of your life. You may remember Madox and Sophie from Willow Cards of Love the Three Of Swords book.
DISCLOSURE – On a volunteer basis I reviewed a free pre-release copy of this book.
TELL ME TO STAY has added scenes from the story “Cards of Love-Three of Swords.” A soul-stirring second chance at true love. This story is one of stormy emotions, moments that pull at your heart and passionate desires.
Sophie and Madox are potent characters; they take on a life of their own with dynamic dialogue and vivid scene descriptions. Their romance is molten-hot. Concealed feelings kept them apart a few years but what brings them together is quite a surprise.
Impressive well-written story that lets you feel for the characters. The chemistry between Madox and Sophie is more than convincing. Their happy ending is well deserved and the epilogue is fabulous. The author shows that voicing your feelings is pivotal and forgiving allows you to move on. I found this to be a most gratifying read.
A great read. It’s has everything you look for in a story. It’s has all the FEELS. It’s angsty, sexy and has characters you will love. It’s an enjoyable and must read story.
For honest review. Awesome story Sophie is back in New York after leaving 3yrs ago hope she will not see madox, but when she goes into the tipst room she sees him this being back past and present feelings that need to be talked about and truths come out.
5 FAIRYTALE STARS!! You know those sweet fairytales you love when the Prince picks up the girl…..well that is what this book reminds of. Now that being said, you still have all the sexiness, hot times and lots of angsty moments you grow to love from this author. As always she never disappoints with her storytelling. This is a must read, so what are you waiting for.
Originally Cards of Love book. .
Well Miss Willow has done it again. I loved the story and history between Madox and Sophie. When it comes to gritty books she is the best.
From the past to the present the heart still wants what it wants, and the soul can even be damaged from words not spoken.
Madox and Sophie’s torrential downpour of emotions that come with their second chance journey had me caught up in their worlds all over again!
Willow Winters additions to this heavy-hearted fantastic read as The Three Of Swords in The Cards Of Love Collection made for enticing and dynamic layers to the characters and intense storyline.
Passionate~Intense~All Alpha~Dark ~ Spark Flying Romance~Willow Winters touch!
Perfect afternoon reading material!
Sophie moved across the country to get away from Madox but now she is back in New York, ready to start her dream job and wondering when she will see him. Once they see each other sparks fly but can they get over the hurts from the past? Fast-paced read with lots of intensity and emotion. Sophie and Madox did not have the easiest lives growing up but they had each other. I loved it!
I first read and reviewed this book under it’s original title Cards of Love: Three of Swords and the story is just as powerful now as it was then. This very emotional love story really touched me just as deeply the second time I read it. I felt such sadness for Sophie and Maddox who were still so obviously in love with each other but long parted all due to what was basically a lack of directness and communication in their relationship. This beautiful, heart-melting second chance love story brought tears to my eyes. I loved these characters. Tell Me to Stay is another truly wonderful read by Willow Winters.

Loved this story! Madox and Sophie have been through so much together and apart in their lives. When they get a second chance will they take it and be able to do better? Such a great journey these two go through! Willow really knows how to write a book with all the feels. Enjoyed reading this one.
Willow Winters knows how to write a story that will pull you in and take you on a roller coaster of emotions ride! This is a read you don’t want to miss! Maddox and Sophie<3 What a great read!
Tell Me To Stay was originally Cards of Love: Three of Swords, but now with newly added content. Raw, angsty and filled with emotions. This second chance romance between Madox and Sophie took me on a rollercoaster ride. Well written with heartbreak, secrets, mistakes, misunderstandings, forgiveness, twists and so much love. Once again Ms. Winters has written a captivating story and I loved every minute of it
Complicated relationship is an understatement. Push, pull, angst but ultimately fighting for love. Hurts so good
