Charolett Byrd’s books just get better very time and this one is no exception I’m completely hooked on this series and left just waiting to read more by this author.
I am so addicted to this series and I was so riveted to this well written storyline and characters that were so well created that I was so engrossed as I turned each and every page of this fantastic book!
Electrifying! The Tell Me Series is running through my veins that’s how additive these books are to me. While reading this 5th addition I was clutching my hands wanting to throw fisticuffs with a certain person who needed to be straightened out. There’s intense heart stopping moments and a cliffhanger that feels as though the rug has been pulled from under my feet. This series gets a 10 out of 10 from me.
Hot and steamy with lots of twists and turns! It will keep you on the edge of your seat turning them pages! This book does end in a cliffhanger but this series is worth it! I received an ARC of this book and I am voluntarily and happily providing my honest opinion and review!
: 3.5 stars—TELL ME TO FIGHT is the fifth instalment in Charlotte Byrd’s contemporary, adult TELL ME erotic, romantic suspense serialized novel. TELL ME TO FIGHT is the continuing story of Nicholas Crawford, and Olive Kernes and should not be read as a stand alone as it picks up immediately after the events of instalment number four TELL ME TO RUN
SOME BACKGROUND: When an unknown benefactor pays off Olive Kernes’ student loans, our heroine doesn’t question but soon discovers that the mystery donor is looking for something more. Now that Olive has fallen for the man in question, Olive’s life will be forever tied to Nicholas Crawford, as Nicholas’ own freedom begins to collapse when he becomes the target of the FBI.
Told from dual first person perspectives (Olive and Nicholas) TELL ME TO FIGHT follows two distinct paths as the story focuses on Olive and Nicholas in the aftermath of their break up. Olive struggles to move forward with her life knowing all is not well with Nicholas on the run. Nicholas Crawford has been betrayed, and with it, he is a wanted man by the FBI. Desperate for money Nicholas must, once again, take a job he is reluctant to do, a job that could mean the end of his freedom or worse.
Meanwhile Olive Kernes struggles in the wake of Nicholas’ disappearance. From her brother’s erratic behavior, and the loneliness of having no contact with Nicholas Crawford, Olive takes the first step in moving forward without the baggage that has tied her down. Determined to learn about her past, a past that will welcome her with open arms, Olive goes in search of the mother she never knew with disastrous consequences.
TELL ME TO FIGHT is a character driven story that deviates from the earlier instalments as it focuses on the individual struggles of Olive and Nicholas, apart and separate from one another but saying that some of the story line felt more like filler, and some readers may take issue with the actions and choices of our story line couple. With Nicholas on the run, trying to stay one step ahead of the FBI, Olive must contemplate moving forward without the man with whom she has fallen in love. TELL ME TO FIGHT ends on a cliff hanger-you have been warned.
This book proved to be a definite shift in style from the previous books in the Tell Me series. It was much more descriptive and interpersonal than the other books. That being said it creates and emotional stir that makes this series even more gripping. It is a busy novel yet flows very well. The slow burn throughout leads to the incredible explosion at the end. Once again I am eager to see the next book in this series.
I loved this book. This series just keeps getting better with each book. Nicholas and Olive are great characters and they have intense chemistry but their story is full of ups and downs and secrets and I can’t wait to read what comes next for this couple.
This one will push all your emotions! This on going saga makes you wonder will these two ever have a happy ending. I love the drama, all the twists and turns, frankly you never know what will happen next. Can’t wait until the next story.
This book/series is addictive! Super hot and steamy, intense with twists and turns in the plot that you just won’t see coming, and the only disappointment is that all the books in this series end in a cliffhanger, so you find yourself yearning for the next volume! Don’t let that deter you though, (no spoilers in my reviews) if you haven’t already, go pick up this series from book one and start now! Find a quiet place, grab your favorite beverage and cozy for an emotional roller coaster that will captivate you completely! I received an advanced copy of this book and am happily providing my honest review.
This series keeps getting better and better can’t wait to see what happens next if you haven’t read any of Charlotte Byrd’s books I highly recommend you do!! This one was so good I finished it in a day. I’ll hate to see the series end.
What the HELL! WHAT! Who turned him in?
Was he followed? Was she? I don’t know if I can take it. The curves this story is throwing have me not knowing who or what to believe. I am anxiously awaiting the next book.
I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
So this is the fifth book in this series and it hasn’t slowed down or let me get off the edge of my seat! There are plenty of twists. The betrayal you won’t believe and so much more! The emotions are intense! Loved this book! A must have book and series! I can not wait for the next book to see if I am right about how the story ends! So excited to see! I am voluntarily leaving my review after reading an advance reader copy of the book from the author.
Tell me to Fight is the fifth book of the series and it is so addictive and so captivating that I found it very hard to put down. Nicholas, Owen and Olive are all fighting thru the battles of their decisions. I just love the story, the characters but dang it…not the cliffhanger. Gimme book 6!!
I’ve voluntarily read and reviewed this advanced readers copy
I received an ARC copy of this book for an honest review.
Well what can I say about this book….it is shockingly brilliant. It is mainly about Olive and her going on a journey of discovery.
There is small parts about Nicholas, and you do hope that he and Olive get together again, or maybe that’s just me and the romantic in me
Owen completely goes off the rails, but we started to see this in the last book.
I really can’t wait for conclusion of this series and see where it all ends for Olive and Nicholas, hopefully I won’t have to wait too long for the last book, I’m not sure if I can cope if I’ve got to wait too long
4.5***** stars. A lot happened in this installment. Olive and Owen are in California for a new start and a situation Olive needs to take care of. Nicholas is on the run from the FBI after someone has betrayed him and turned him in. Several pending issues are addressed and not all have a good outcome. It ends on a suspenseful cliffhanger for the last book in this series. I really liked this one and am looking forward to the finale.
