It was supposed to be one night in Vegas. But it never works out that way, does it?Love has a backseat, and I intended to keep it that way. My main focus in life is my little girl. With her mom in jail and my life in shambles more often than not, it’s about all I’ve got time for. So a vacation with the guys was in order. Parties, girls, and fun. Oh my!And then the most beautiful girl I’ve ever … Oh my!
And then the most beautiful girl I’ve ever laid eyes on shows up, and she’s out for the same thing I am—a good time.
Seems there is someone else in the world who’s forgotten to live.
As much as I shouldn’t, I’m all in for making this woman mine—every part of her.
Both of us are waking up to a truth that isn’t so fun to hear, but it’s better than living a lie.
Love is all that matters.

Doesn’t always stay in Vegas and this read is all about that. Zane goes to Vegas with his best friend and meets up with his other college buddies who named themselves The Five. When one of them makes it big, he fulfills his promise and has all five of them have a week in Vegas, on him. Zane needs some time for himself, he’s raising his five year old daughter, Mila, by himself with the help of his parents, a week away seems promising, especially when he meets Tara, a waitress at his hotel. The two hit it off and spend time together and after a steamy night, she leaves, not sure of handle to handle her first time. But Zane isn’t giving up and wants more of Tara and she realizes he wants more than just one night, she is in. Little does she know that he has some drama and a daughter waiting for him back home….will she take the chance at happiness.
A great read with steam and great characters I couldn’t get enough of. I loved Zane, the way he was with his daughter, the way he treated Tara, that he wasn’t a man wh***…..book boyfriend hands down. I also loved Tara, she was sincere, sweet, loyal and independent and didn’t cause too much drama. These two lit up the pages and I loved the little to no drama between them and how the drama that did happen was not over the top and dragged on.
A read that flowed beautifully, with great characters that were easy to fall in love with and a great romance that had me smiling from ear to ear.

I really enjoyed reading Zanes story. I loved him as a alpha single dad with enough baggage for everyone. I thought he was a tough cookie but a sweet pea. Tara was your run of the mill sweet waitress making her way through life. I enjoyed the drama and the sass between them. They had super steamy scenes. It was a good book you didn’t want to put down.
Fate brought Zane and Tara together in Vegas. Their chemistry was off the charts and they were just what the other needed. Both had pasts and secrets that they were afraid to share. Most of their problems came from their failure to truly communicate. Mila, his young daughter was precious and the star of the book. This is a romance that you’ll enjoy but it will they will frustrate you at times and definitely take you on an emotional roller coaster. I read an advance copy from the author, that I do not know and voluntarily chose to write a review.
I love this genre and this is a well-written plot and characters. I volunteered to read an advance copy for an honest review.
Tell Me No Lies was a great story. C. Morgan did a great job on it. The plot and characters were strong, the story was written well. Zane and Tara’s journey was a bit bumpy, they had many ups and downs but they were good for each other. Their connection, the attraction was strong between them, they were made for one another. Their chemistry was sexy, they were great together.
I enjoyed this story, it was great. Thank you, C. Morgan. Great work 🙂
I really enjoyed reading this book.
The story was written well and kept my attention.
The couple had very sweet chemistry.
I voluntarily read and reviewed this
book from an advanced reader copy.
The nicely written storyline and characters that were so well defined had me hooked from the very beginning! The interaction and the chemistry between Zane and Tara kept me turning the pages until the very last page!
Zane and Tara may have started their fling in Vegas but what goes on in Vegas doesn’t always stay! When Zane’s ex comes back into the picture, Tara ends their relationship. When everything comes out into the open, Tara realizes that she may have jumped too soon. Is it too late to get that happily ever after with Zane? This story will have you cheering on the sidelines for Zane and Tara to get a well deserved chance for happiness. I voluntarily agreed to receive an ARC of this book for an honest review.
good read and romance
Tara and Zane have this whirlwind affair in Vegas that didn’t end in Vegas. However when they get back, reality will hit them hard and the miscommunications will make them work really hard for their HEA, Great story and cast of characters,
This book is significantly longer than most of what we’ve seen from this author so far. That gives us even more time to get to know these characters and immerse ourselves in their lives. Zane and Tara have a whirlwind Vegas romance that doesn’t exactly stay in Vegas. This pair has a really sweet love story as they fall for one another, but when they hit the inevitable rough patches, cue the emotional roller-coaster. Both Zane and Tara frustrated the living daylights out of me with their inability to talk problems through and their tendency to jump to conclusions. Their supporting cast regularly tried to run away with the show, though a couple of the best friends nearly made me want to commit murder. And Mila is just the most precious, precocious little thing ever. I can’t wait to see what the author has in store for us next.
I received a complimentary advanced copy of this book from the author.
Pleasant Romantic Story – 4 Stars
This was a pleasant romantic story to read. The story flowed smoothly, was believable and original. The main male and the main female characters’ romantic tale was very much down-to-earth, given the lifestyle of these characters and the locations of the story. The characterizations were diverse which added to the depth of this story. Good Stuff!
