She’s gone. Someone took her from me.I knew I wasn’t supposed to fall in love. But I did it anyway. And now it might have cost my princess – the princess – her life.I won’t stop until I find her. But when I do, I’ll need to stay away. She won’t survive the scandal. There’s no way I can love her and protect her.I’ll have to choose one.
Nana Malone has done it again. Book 1 ended in an explosive way, and book 2 picks up the gauntlet swimmingly. Teasing the Princess brings all the characters from this Royal world together and is action packed from beginning to end. Secrets are unveiled and love is put to the test. These Royals keep you coming back for more.
ARC received for honest review.
This book picks up where Royal Tease left off and it does not disappoint. Once again we are drawn into a world of intrigue, travel, swoons, smiles and heat. I don’t just mean the heat from Winston Isles. You won’t be disappointed. In addition, the cliffhanger is tied up for us.
Roone has committed himself to protecting Jessa at any cost but the trick is to find her.
Jessa is determined to find out the answers to the questions she’s had for most of her life. She’s not sure who to trust and who to put her faith in. Jessa really comes into her own in this book. Even though Roone is equally represented in this book in my opinion it is Jessa’s story. One of the best aspects of the author’s books in this series are the strong women representations. I also like the diversity of culture, characters and careers. These characters are so much more than two dimensional.
We are also treated to revisiting with characters from past books and new characters that I’m hoping to see more in future stories. I can’t wait for Ariel’s book. There’s so much more to her than meets the eye. It’s nice to see that family can be more than DNA. If you read or read these books you will see what I mean.
I do believe to get the full effect from this story you need to read the first book (in my opinion you should read the whole series, just saying). You will be happy you did.
I read this book in one sitting. It’s a fast read but also that good, Can’t wait for the next book in the series.
I gave this book five stars because it was spectacular. Roone and Jessa were perfect together. I loved all the twists and turns in the book. Jessa really had some crazy people coming for her. I hate what happened to Ariel but glad she will be back with her own story. Good job Nana!
Waiting to read this….read all previous books
I think Royals United Series is my favorite. Nana Malone threw a few surprises in Teasing the Princess that I did not see coming. So I give her a WELL DONE, because a lot of times I see where things are going pretty early. Not this time. I was surprised with the start because I was not anticipating how she was going to start the book after the ending of Royal tease. In my opinion Nana Malone gives you enough suspense and action to keep you turning the pages. She kept me on the edge of my seat wondering who was behind trying to claim the throne. Needless to say I was surprise. This also brings back Sebastian, Penn, Lucas and Bryna all back. I always like cameos of previous characters. I love Jessa she is smart and independent. In my opinion Nana Malone did a good job of portraying Jessa’s struggle of who to trust and her need to run. I like Roone and his patience with Jessa. I liked how he gave Jessa the space she needed to come to terms with eveything. I also liked how Nana Malone threw in some twist to setup for Ariel’s story. I’m looking forward to the next book. I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced readers edition.
I absolutely loved this book. This is book 2 in the duet. Both books were awesome, but in Book 2 so much more is revealed and there is a lot of suspense and intrigue and twists and turns that I never saw coming. And Jessa and Roone wee the most adorable couple to follow and watch as the love blossom for one another. I highly recommend this book and the first book in the duet. Another winner by Nana Malone!!!
This is the exciting conclusion of Jessa’s journey to becoming a princess. When we last saw Jessa she was ready to flee and wouldn’t let anyone stop her, even Roone whom she shot. Now Jessa’s running the show and heads to the Winston Isles herself. She meets her brother’s and finally has a family that she feels like she belongs to- but there are still people out there who don’t and she now has to fight back to keep that family! Just like the previous books, this one is packed with action and twists and turns! Just when you think it’s a happily ever after for all, something new pops up!
Great series with characters you’ll love! This should not be read as a stand-alone to really to the full effect you need to read the whole series!
This was a great follow up and conclusion to Royal Tease! I’ve thought Roone was pretty swoony since his introduction back in Sebastians’s books, and with Jessa being as hard headed as he was I knew sparks would fly and I wasn’t wrong lol! Ideally you would not start reading this author from this book, there are several plot lines that converge in this one, So I really recommend starting back in Sebastian’s book so you can grasp all the deeper meanings, you won’t be disappointed, her writing is smart, funny, and poignant and if you start with Cheeky Royal, you will catch all the references. Its a great book and I can’t wait for more from this series
After the cliffhanger in the first book, I was so excited to read the end of the story. I wasn’t disappointed in the slightest. Teasing the Princess is just as much of a page turner. Jessa and Roone are great characters and the suspense is ever present. Fantastic read.
Royal Guard Roone Ainsley didn’t get the chance to tell Jessa the truth before she shoots him with a tranq gun and goes on the run. When Roone wakes up he vows to find Jessa and bring her home, even if it gets him killed. Lost princess Jessa McLean has been hiding her whole life and doesn’t want to hide anymore. Jessa needs answers and the only way she’s going to get them is to go to the Winston Isles to find out more about her family. Jessa finds out that there’s an enemy out there, an enemy coming for her family. Roone is happy that Jessa is safe for now but Jessa is angry with Roone and doesn’t want anything to do with him. Roone knows that Jessa is his and plans to fight for her, but will he succeed?
Teasing the Princess is a funny, action-packed and suspenseful story that will have you turning the pages non stop. I can’t wait to read Ariel’s story in the Royal Elite series.
The chase is on and Malone invites readers along for the ride. Teasing the Princess picks up right where Royal Tease left off. Jessa and Roone are worlds apart as danger closes in. Will the bodyguard be able to shield his own heart from the wary, but fearless Princess? Teasing the Princess is a mysterious adventure that has temptation written all over it. Can you keep up? Cause these Royals will leave you breathless and craving more. Malone keeps getting better.
Teasing the Princess is a fast, action packed story with plenty of romance. Roone and Jessa are great! Loved this story.
