But, like her namesake, she pushes past all inhibitions and takes a leap of Faith. The last thing she imagines is a summer of self-discovery at the hands of a sexy Baroness’ son.
Elijah Fairclough is arrogant yet charming, complicated but forthcoming. With his blue eyes, expensive suits and evasive attitude, it seems he’s used to getting what he wants, and he wants nothing more than to discover the woman beneath the tattoos in every way possible. Tears of Ink is the first in a complete trilogy.
Binge read the series now.

Faith is an complicated character. She is a great artist with a lot of self doubt. she can’t see how good her work is. She surrounds herself with her past. She has her past hurts and mistakes inked on her skin. It makes it difficult to trust others as well as herself. She finds herself living the life of one night stands and keeping her heart safe with very few friends. Elijah is also complicated. He wants to be more than his name and rank. He has to live a certain way because of his family name. They are opposite that are attracted to each other. the story is well written and will have you vested in their future. Things don’t exactly turn out the way we want and things get messy. Can Elijah and Faith find their way to happiness? Stay tuned to book two.

I’m bowled over by this writer’s crazy-awesome storytelling ability. I had to admit that I wasn’t so certain about the story at first, because the world-building is a slow burn of development, carefully stacking plot points and back story on top of the current action of the plot. But my attention was never compromised, and before I knew it, I was eagerly turning pages even at 3 in the morning. Overall, a beautifully crafted love story between two characters who have taken over my heart. I seriously cannot wait for the follow-up book!
It’s been awhile since I have read a page turner book. I read this book in a day on vacation. While hubby and kids play a board game I dig into a great romance book that keeps you turning the page. Have tissues in hand. I wanted to go into this book and just hug Faith.
Warning there is a cliffhanger but that’s a okay I bought the next book.
Great characters that will keep your interest extremely well.
The chemistry, sweetness, and twists in plot kept things interesting.
Add in a wee bit of drama and you have a good read.

This story is heartbreaking.
Eli and Faith, they been so good together and he worked hard to break all walls around Faith heart.

Faith Hitchins is an artist who is very free spirited and has her own way to go about life, she’s got tattoos just about everywhere and is used to people judging her by them. She has a f*ck off attitude and she doesn’t care what people think, she does what she wants. She makes the rules, and the biggest rule she lives by is not sleeping with anyone twice, no exceptions.
Elijah Fairclough is brooding, arrogant, and insanely handsome. He is very hot and cold, confusing Faith constantly and making her question his every move but also intriguing her with each interaction and making her question her rules, will she break them and gamble losing herself or will she run?
When Faith decides to take a chance on a new project, she doesn’t know what is going to come of it and she also doesn’t know what all lies ahead of her. She has many obstacles she has to overcome and plenty of times where she is pushed to the limit. This book was wonderful. I loved Faith and all the growth she goes through during this book. I wasn’t sure how I felt about her lifestyle at first with the way she was so rough and tough with her exterior and her busted give-a-damn attitude (I was guilty of judging her before I knew her) but once I saw the real her, my heart ached for her. I ended u loving her and wanting to reach through the pages and just hug her!
Elijah was excessively swoon-worthy from the beginning, then I started having my doubts about him and his intentions. Once I got to know the real him and the reason he does all the things he does I fell for him. Hook, line, and freakin’ sinker! I love how I got completely lost in this book and felt as if i was a part of the story myself.
I highly recommend this book!
This book was gripping, well written & the chemistry between the characters sizzled throughout this wonderful read.
Well done Anna. I look forward to more!
So this is the first book by this author that i’ve read and it was recommened to me once and then again by the same person twice, so I thought I better see what all this fuss is about and honestly? I loved it and I’m kicking myself for not starting this series sooner. Anna Bloom just might be an auto one-click for me now. Her way with words had me hanging off each and every word she wrote, she built up to the story and characters perfectly and then pushed us into a love story that is EPIC!
This book focuses on two characters, Elijah Fairclough and Faith Hitchin.
Elijah? Well at first he came across a little arrogant, a little cocky, use to getting everything he wants, when he wants it…A man that 90% of the time is in a nice suit and has woman swooning at the knees for him, a man that I will openly admit fall for every damn time, yet he had a charm to him that kept me in intrigued and wanting to learn more about him.
Faith? She was not what I expected, to be honest I expected that same old story about a young girl who falls for businessman, but she was the complete oppisite. She’s strong, talented, and knows her own worth. Well thats what I got from the character anyway and it was refreshing to read.
These two together? it started out slow, not so much a slow burn but the build up was there, and it was intense, it kept me turning page by page wanting to know what was about to happen with these two. The chemistry between the two of them was intense and the way the author built it up, it was perfect. Once they finally let go and gave in to each other, it was fireworks, it was all consuming and it was addictive!
And that ending? AHHHHHHH… thats all I am going to say about that 😉
I’m so glad I took a chance on this book and thank you to a dear friend for recommending it! I’m off to go and read book 2 now!
5-Breathtaking-Stars!
She has just one rule, never sleep with The same man twice. She has an offer which she cannot refuse so she goes. She is a tattoo artist. He is arrogant but he has lovely blue eyes. Will he make her break her one rule? See what will happen between them

The story starts off with the introduction of an artist named Faith. She has a past that makes her hide behind her tattoos/image , and the development of set rules about relationships. She has trust issues, but it make sense why she is so guarded when her past is revealed within the story.
So Faith is presented with an opportunity that can bring her exposure many artist dreams about, she is convinced herself to go to an interview for this opportunity and it is here when she meets Elijah/ Eli. There is an attraction among them, and slowly Faith begins to breakdown her shield and breaks her rules for Eli, and soon a relationship develops among the two that becomes more than the two had initially compromised. However, Eli comes from a prominent wealthy family who gives him no choice but to only live up to the family’s name and expectations and this become a problem because Faith does not fall within those expectations. So will they end up together and fight against the world that want to keep them apart or will Eli continue to give his family control of his life. I don’t know because the story is left in a cliffhanger, but I can’t wait to read the next installment. This actually is a good read, the author’s development of the characters in the story was well written. I actually was surprised with the end, the way she wrote the story line I was sure they would get a happy ending, but instead I got an unexpected twist/ cliffhanger and can wait to read more about Faith and Eli.

Wonderfully beautiful, emotionally charged read!
My heart is shattered by this beautiful story. Like that piece of art. I shed some tears. Maybe even more than some.
Writing is so great and gets me emotionally invested in the story. It hooked my from the page one. I love Faith. I connected with her and I felt like going through all her motions and emotions with her. I loved Eli… but honestly I don’t know what to think anymore, I’m conflicted…
This is beautiful story with lots of pain, angst, love, happy and sad moments. Painful memories, heart-shattering events and we are left with hope… it all will be all right? It has to be, at least for Faith. I feel like December can’t come quick enough. I need to read second part and see what will happen next.
Anna Bloom is a new author to me and this book has blown me away, book 2 can’t be released soon enough! Readers beware this book ends on one hell of a cliffhanger.
This book gives to anger, hate, sorrow, betrayal of epic proportions, lies, lust, love and sex.
SOME SPOILERS
Faith had some crappy teenage years, causing her to close off her heart of to love, has a rule to never have more that one time with a guy, she wears her tattoos like body armour, and her passion for art is her outlet in life. Then Elijah comes along and tilts her perfectly screwed up world off its axis. He’s rich, handsome, sexy, has an offer that seems to good to be true, but in his own way he’s also screwed up living by his stiff-uppper-lipped families rules. When life seems perfect will Faith regret letting Elijah in?
Elijah (Eli) has been groomed to his family’s will, he loves art and hires the sexy, sassy, closed off Faith to work her magic and create art for his pompous family home. He loves her anyone can see that, but his family have the upper-hand at every turn. Life decisions made, but can he have his dream?
Will Faith & Eli get an HEA?
Or have too many dreams and hearts been broken?
I loved Eli and Faith, they are the type of characters you just want to see find a different direction in life, breakthrough their obstacles, their hindrances overcome and as the plot develops you then can’t help but start cheering in their corner to hopefully find love too.
Faith and Eli meet when Faith is invited to do a project at the stately home.
Tears of Ink is an opposite’s attract kind of story, two people from different backgrounds and societies.
Faith is a girl who has endured hardships, carries her baggage of insecurities, then you have Eli who has a surface appearance of being the lord of the manor, a high profile businessman but beneath the surface, he also has his own layers of insecurities and obstacles.
Eli hates his heritage and the prison of his namesake, he hasn’t got the freedom to choose who he dates or even the kind of job he would like to do because of his family history and the image of the family name.
Faith has her issues, has her past secrets and hurts, yet she’s ballsy, finds release from one night stands but at the same time, she’s an introvert artist who doesn’t see her talents or her self-worth.
I was completely swept away with Eli and Faith’s story, I had high hopes for both to find love and finally push through their obstacles in life.
I cannot believe that ending!!
I finished this book with a slack jaw. I went from having high hopes for a Cinderella kind of story to dread. I had really connected with both these characters. I still have hope though and I’m seriously itching to read book two in this gripping duet
TEARS OF INK Is a perfect sizzling Sunday read, heartwarming with the right amount of hot moments. Told In first person pov.
faith who to the world seems one way but underneath it all she feels alone and pain from her past. when an invitation arrives inviting her to a art project she decides to take a leap and go for it. Elijah who is charming, arrogant, but complicated, he always gets what he wants but in this case he must work to get what he wants. will Elijah win? will they both get what they want?
I liked this book but I was not a fan of the pacing. The stop and go feel to the book made it hard for me to really get into a good flow. I did find the story entertaning and I thought that the characters were interesting. There is emotional tension, intense attraction, twist, drama and one heck of a giant jawdropping cliffhanger.
This was a great story and was very entertaining. Once I started I could not put it down. The chemistry between the hero and heroine is sizzling hot. I would recommend this to anyone that loves a great love story.

I loved this book couldn’t put it down of course don’t love a cliff hanger so couldn’t wait to get on to the next book
Will write a long review when I finish book 2. I floved this book and I have to read Tears of Glass to see how it ends.
The description of the book sucked me in. I started reading it and was instantly intrigued by this secret that Faith has, especially the descriptions of her tattoo’s and the hints of her past. This book was a really good book to read! The ending does end in a cliffhanger… you will want to go and buy book 2.
This book has a great Storyline.Faith has some emotional baggage to deal with and I though I like the tattoos they arent healing her. Elijah comes in and the sexual tension is thick but its more then that and she breaks her 1 rule for him: No Repeats. They get through the emotional problems and has a hea.
