I loved this teacher principal romance! The hoarder family situation and the emotional and professional walls… I gobbled it up! Literally, read it in one sitting and put sleep on the back burner. I love these Eureka Spings romances!

Jennifer has to come back home to get her dad. But when she goes for a job and see’s Robert things change. But she is in pain and he sees it, now he has to convince her to stay.
This was a great story and was fun to read. I liked how the main character had to work through some personal struggles and how the other main character was determined to break through the walls. The story also brought in the other characters that have been written about in this series. It was great. I am looking forward to reading further in this series.

Jen spent her life running from the hoarder father who put her down, her former overweight body and image, and anyone who tries to love her and get close to her. Rob fell for her the minute he saw her running when he was riding his bike. But she keeps pushing her away and does he really want to start a romantic relationship when he could be her boss if the school hires her. I felt for Jen dealing with feelings of self worth and trying to figure out what would make her happy while trying to take of her mentally ill father. Rob was a good guy, but Jen felt like she wasn’t good enough for him. This was a clean romance with plenty of funny and sad moments.
When you’ve been running from problems all your life, it becomes second nature to run from new things too.
Jen is a deeply troubled woman trying to hide from everyone and everything. Problem is you cannot hide from yourself as you are always there. She has developed some good and not so good coping skills that help out to some degree until she is faced with all the hurt and pain she suffered in her home town. Rob is a good guy who is genuinely interested in her but he also has to learn some new life lessons if he wishes to have any chance of having any type of relationship with Jen. What transpires is a lot of family and friends drama, which everyone trying to juggle it all so nothing comes crashing down on anybody. Unique look at the life of a hoarder from the family’s perspective.
