I promised her that I’d live my best life once I was free. It was that promise that led me to Voyeur–to Daniel. What better place to conquer my fear of intimacy than a club that allows you to watch? Who better to help me than the owner himself? On night one, my past comes roaring back, urging me to run like I always had before. This time I ran into his arms. With my fear still clinging to my …
With my fear still clinging to my skin, he brushed it away and made his own promise.
“I’ll teach you.”
His promise turns to friendship. A friendship turns to passion.
We didn’t know what to do with that passion— between the not-so-broken girl and the man who promised to never love again.
Daniel and I started because of a promise, and I hoped that we wouldn’t end because of one too.
Teacher is Daniel and Hanna’s steamy, tension-filled, friends-to-lovers standalone romance. The last book in the bestselling Voyeur series.

DANIEL! Swoooon ALERT! I loved this story so much. It was emotional and sexy! I found myself tearing up one moment and smiling the next! And definitely moaning. Not gonna lie.
And can’t leave out the banter/bromance between Daniel and Kent! I died! And the rest of the gang!
BUT MOST OF ALL?
I was so emotionally consumed with the way that Daniel treated Hanna. He’s just what she needed. These two together were everything I thought it would be, and so much more.
“I want you to teach me.”
is Daniel and Hanna’s steamy, tension-filled, friends-to-lovers, age-gap, standalone romance! The last book in the bestselling Voyeur series.
Where the f*ck do I begin with this review of this AMAZING book?! It’s kind of cheesy, but I guess I’ll start at the beginning… I read the series slightly out of order and first met Hanna, the female lead, in Another (Carina & Ian’s book) and didn’t care for her too much, that is until her tragic past was revealed. I then hoped that Hanna would get a her happily ever after and the perfect man who would love her greatly, which she absolutely deserved. That brings us to Daniel. I met Daniel in Lovers, he occasionally popped up in the other books, but he wasn’t too memorable until Liar where he quickly became one of my favourite characters, he was the best uncle and the best best friend. The ending of Liar hinted at a relationship between Hanna and Daniel, which got me extremely excited for the (unfortunately) final book. There were so many AMAZING things in Teacher and because of it, so many reasons why I ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT!!! Throughout the book, each couple that we’ve seen fall in love throughout the Voyeur series make appearances, especially Carina, Erik, Alex, Kent and Olivia. It’s the perfect ending for the series and makes you love the characters even more. It also makes miss them and want to reread all of their love stories over and over again, which I probably will do hehe. Then there’s the bromance between Kent and Daniel. If you loved the relationship they had in Liar.. just wait for Teacher. They are the best of friends, they’re hilarious and you get to see an extremely playful and teasing side of Kent that I had me grinning and laughing. There’s also the cute sibling relationship with Erik & Hanna, the sisterhood with the females in the series, but what really stole the show was the chemistry between Hanna & Daniel. It’s a friends to lovers romance, slow burn but oh so good! They both have their demons but they help each other and learn to trust as well as love again. This book is steamy, romantic, beautiful, poetic, suspenseful, comedic, powerful with women empowerment and a huge emotional roller coaster but that’s what make it so good!! I HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend it when it comes out! Five incredible stars!
I had been desperately wanting Hanna’s story since the small part we got of her in Savior and then a little bit more of her in Another, and I just as much needed Daniel’s story since Voyeur. And the fact that they’d be getting a story together just had me that more intrigued.
Hanna has been through so much. She’s going through a very difficult time. She’s trying as best she can to move on from what happened, but its anything but easy and is still haunted with those events. She feels so much guilt and that’s one of the reasons why it’s hard for her to let go. And even with everything that’s happened to her not once did she crumble. She’s brave, courageous, strong and a true survivor. But there are still some things she needs help with, and when an unlikely source offers to help her, she says yes without even realizing she’s saving him as much as he’s saving her.
Daniel was every-freakin-thing. He immediately captured my heart. I loved how sweet and attentive he was with Hanna. He was also so caring and patient with her. He showed so much tenderness when bringing Hanna out of her comfort zone. And just like Hanna, Daniel also experienced something heartbreaking that is still affecting him. Hanna might’ve needed Daniel’s help, but at the same time Daniel needed Hanna’s help just as much.
I loved Hanna and Daniel so much. These two were just amazing together—perfection. I loved how they formed an unbreakable friendship. And in turn that friendship turned to so much more and only added to the trust they had in each other. They help each other heal with the traumas they’re both still struggling with. Their journey is one both heartbreaking, but it’s also one filled with hope and a beautiful everlasting love.
Teacher is a friends-to-lovers, age-gap romance that is brimming with emotion. It’s filled with passion and tender moments. It’s bittersweet this being the last book in the Voyeur series, but I must say Fiona ended with a bang. Hanna and Daniel’s story was the perfect ending to an incredible series.
4.5*
Do you like friends to lovers stories? Do you mind a bit of angst in your romances? Does an age gap rock your boat? If the answer is yes to any of those questions then check this out.
This is the sixth book in the Voyeur series, but can be read as a standalone, even though you’ll definitely get more out of it if you’ve read the others in the series (I haven’t read them all yet, but I have read some)
Hanna has had a rough past. But the author handles what she’s been through with care and respect. Daniel seemed to me to be almost perfect for her given her past and his own demons. The romance between them was…beautiful.
I really do love getting sucked into this world. I’ll re-read these for sure.
I received an ARC of this from Foreword PR on behalf of the author. I volunteered to leave an unbiased review.
The end has come and while I am very sad, this last book was amazing.
Daniel and Hanna are a couple that was truly meant to be. He knew what she needed before she did and that is a connection that’s not often found.
We met Hanna before and her story is tragic but it ends better. Daniel comes in and shows her just what she needs to break out of her tragic past.
Daniel and Kent also have such a strong bond and I loved seeing it more during these last couple of books.
I absolutely loved this voyeur series. Some of the best books I’ve ever read (Voyeur was my top read of 2018 and Another was my top read of 2019). I know I will read them again and again.
Daniel and Hanna were absolutely perfect!!!! They had the most amazing chemistry!!! Daniel and Kent’s “bromance” has me laughing so damn hard!!!! Omgosh!!! Fiona Cola has delivered up a phenomenal book!!! Cole is a fabulously talented author and really hasn’t written a book yet that I haven’t just absolutely loved!!! Teacher is so very good, as soon as it releases, GO BUY IT!!!
WHAT.A.READ. from Fiona Cole. Having had small glimpses of Hanna’s story from previous books I had a feeling that her story would be one that would pull at the heartstrings, and I was right. This book was very emotional but also very rewarding being able to read about Hanna’s strength and ability to live her life. And then add in Daniel and his life story and his battles just makes for a wonderful friends to lovers story . Then add in their chemistry and attraction and insanely hot sexy times and this is one hot emotional read. Well done and I hope we get to see more of this world in the future.
I love this series. Hanna had been saved from sex traffickers, but she lived with guilt and fear. Daniel wanted to help her, but had a lot of baggage too. I loved that he pushed her. She pushed him too. He was a dirty talker, and the heat in this book definitely didn’t disappoint. I loved Daniel and Hanna!

Teacher by Fiona Cole Review
5/5 stars
I finished Teacher over a day ago. I seriously had to give myself time to digest it before I could write my review. Teacher is an incredible excellently written novel. There are so many nuisances to the story. So many layers to each character. The story starts so very real, raw, painful, and agonizing. It just builds from there. Yes there is a HEA but the journey is very intense.
I’m going to start out with a warning sexual slavery, kidnapping, rape, death, mental health issues, suicide and it’s aftermath are a key part of the story. To put it bluntly Hanna and Daniel’s story wouldn’t exist if not for the back story that includes these events. They are discussed. There are flashbacks. They are detailed. I’m a sexual abuse survivor had I had to step away several times to get myself back to a safe place mentally to keep reading. So please as incredible as this book is please take care of your mental health first.
As I said I’ve survived abuse and rape. Reading Hanna’s story was difficult. I’ve also lost friends to suicide and a brother to sickness, so it was a hard hard read for me. BUT!!! I found Teacher so very very rewarding to read. Like Voyeur Fiona Cole spends time developing her characters and setting the stage of the events. It obvious she research what it’s like to survive these types of events. More importantly she doesn’t write Hanna as someone who needs a white knight to save her. Hanna is trying to save herself. She’s making steps to get better. Daniel is a friend that helps her but he’s not the reason Hanna gets better she is. So many writers write survivors as people that need someone to magically fix them. This isn’t this book. Instead you get to ride along with two people who find someone brave enough to challenge each other to change. They become each other’s safe haven. And that is more real, more pure, more magical than any story about a hero and his helpless princess will ever be, because that’s what a couple that is in love does. They lift each other up they become each other’s ladder to a better life, but they don’t climb the ladder for their partner. More in comments.
This is a lesson that Daniel especially needs to learn. Hanna has to learn about survivors guilt, trust, and many other things. The absolute beauty of this story is how they help each other navigate these lessons. The sex scenes aren’t just sex scenes. Yes they are hot and sexy to read but more importantly they are scenes of empowerment for Hanna. Each step, each moment she grabs onto is one more piece of herself she claims and frees from the chains of her past. Daniel finds trust, intimacy on a level he has never felt before. They allow him to open up in a way he hasn’t in a very very long time. Rarely are there so many layers to sex scenes. Rarely do sex scenes in books elevate themselves to statements about sexuality. About empowerment. About reclaiming of one’s soul. Rarely do they show a clear light on how a survivor of rape is just that a survivor not a victim. Fiona Cole shows a depth of understanding of these issues that is so very rare and so very rarely protrayed in literature so well. Yes this is an age gap romance. Yes it’s in a world where a huge part of the characters lives is a club dedicated to sex. But Teacher transcends genre tropes within the first two chapters. It’s different than your average romance. Romances with predictable tropes and stories are wonderful and fun to read. Teacher is a novel that highlights how very much romances are serious literature. How they do speak of important issues and about society. Teacher hits on universal truths that are so important to read. Added to which Fiona Cole writes so very beautifully. You absolutely won’t be disappointed you read this book
Such an wonderful read. Voyeur Series book 6 has it all.
Daniel and Hanna’s journey will leave you captivated by the strength of two beautifully broken hearts fighting not only to survive but live in the aftermath of their pasts.
The storyline was intense raw emotional with such darkness and light and plenty of humour and sexual chemistry Wow. Passion to succeed and longing to beat her fear of intimacy. Hanna finds herself turning to the one man that for some unknown reason makes her feel safe. Hanna is hoping Daniel will help her conquer her fears. Daniel is the co-owner of Voyeur, a adult only club where all your sexual fantasies are fulfilled. Daniel who doesn’t date, doesn’t fall in love seemed the perfect new friend to coach Hanna with her fears of intimacy.
The storyline also gave glimpses of previous characters and where their lives intertwined was so well written. Highly recommended reading.
An amazing end to an incredible series. Daniel and Hanna’s story is raw, steamy, and yet hopeful.
I was so excited to find out Daniel was getting a story and the fact that this is also Hanna’s is a win. Teacher was everything I could have wanted and more for Daniel and Hanna and this series.
Hanna is a survivor. She is a fighter. She is broken. She is strong. She experienced something no one should ever have to; she still struggles with that darkness and the fact that her twin didn’t survive. My heart completely broke for her and what she experienced; however, I love that she wanted to fight that darkness and overcome her fears. Daniel is successful, he owns a bar and a club. However, there is a side to him that feeds a fear. A side that explains why he doesn’t do relationships and I just wanted to give him a hug.
I love Daniel and Hanna. They had chemistry from the start, even just as friends. Their relationship progressing was beautiful to read as they both slowly started to overcome everything that was holding them back. They needed each other to heal, to move on from the events of their pasts. They way Daniel is with Hanna is sweet. He is so caring, he doesn’t push her, he waits for her to want to go further. Hanna is also caring when it comes to Daniel. Everything about their relationship and connection is beautiful.
Teacher will have you experiencing a wide range of emotions. You’ll laugh, you’ll cry and you’ll feel frustrated at times. I’m sad to say goodbye to Voyeur and to each of the couples I’ve grown to love over the years. This is a MUST READ and one of my TOP READS for 2020.
Where to begin with this read – I own nearly every single book of Fiona’s. But this one? I put off work to finish it because it had such a strong hold on me (and still does). As tears (happy ones) are trailing, I’m writing this review. Daniel and Hanna’s story will be one that sticks with you, I know it’s going to stick with me. Hanna has been thru hell, Fiona begins with a heartbreaking prologue describing it. This isn’t just a friends to lovers story, it’s so much more – it’s two people that are still a little broken and heal with each other’s help. Daniel is such a huge swoon worthy character, this guy will make you melt with his tenderness and care towards Hanna. Hanna? She is the warrior that is hidden among the crowd and when her strength emerges you can’t help but cheer. When these two come together – it’s just perfect. I loved every single word and say (with confidence) that it is in my top 2 favorite reads of the year.
****I won an arc of this story and agreed to leave my honest review****
OMG! What a wonderful ending to a fantastic series. I loved this book so much. Fiona took us on a journey never to be forgotten.
I’ve been so intrigued by Daniel from Voyeur, and then we were briefly introduced to Hanna in Saviour we knew she had a troubled story to tell.
Fiona tackled this extremely delicate subject in a wonderful way. Hannas story was so heartbreaking, I needed to stop and breath for a minute and then Daniel also had his own demons they were both perfect to sooth each other.
Daniel is scorching hot and its wonderful to see Hanna grow stronger and stronger as the story unfolds.
Fiona certainly knows how to set the pages on fire, her sexy times are absolutely scorching. She has rocked this series off the charts.
I loved Teacher so much I give it a most definite 5
4.5 star of sexiness, swoon moments, panty melting steamy times, strong and brave heroine, and simply sweet Daniel
Teacher brings you Daniel and Hanna. An age gap friend to lover romance with so much feelings and empowering characters.
Hanna is a sex trafficking survivor. Taken and captive at age seventeen, nine years after she’s still in trauma and survivor guilt for surviving while her twin, Sofia, died in captivity.
While Daniel have his own demon. A man who’s basically a good friend to anyone, a homebody who actually can be a great family loving man. But when he have the guilt of someone died because of him… How could he live with that?
It start with a friend helping another friend getting through her trauma.
It start as simply a touch.
It start as lean back to someone else shoulder.
But then again when student learn from the best teacher, nothing can be that simple isn’t anymore.
This book was so amazing!! Hannah and Daniel’s story is a perfect balance of emotion and heat. This book will have you swooning one minute and needing a cold shower the next and trust me you’ll never want it to end!! These characters stole my heart. They are incredibly complex and each has their own baggage that they carry. I found this age gap, friends to lovers romance to be sinfully enticing. It had me totally captivated and feeling deliciously swoony!!! Hannah may well be my most favorite female character EVER!! There’s a saying that you have to be strong enough to bend and I felt that fit her to a t. She was wounded and vulnerable but fierce and determined at the same time. As for Daniel, well he had his own wounds but that didn’t stop him from being kind, sweet, caring and just a really great, good guy and that is something I don’t think we see enough of in books. Put all these things together and you have yourself a five star, must read romance that will leave a permanent make on your heart and linger in your mind. This is my sincere review that I am posting of my own accord.
Teacher, the emotional final story in the Voyeur series by Fiona Cole has brought us full-circle. To say I was blown away is the understatement of all understatements. This is a beautiful story of healing and surviving but also about how love and tenderness can reach even the darkest parts of our mind.
From the beginning, we’ve known Hannah suffered a traumatic experience. We’ve seen how that event affected her brother Erik. We’ve seen her struggle as a side character in other books. And now we get to know all the details. Experience the horrific events and journey with her on her path to living again.
Triggers are everywhere for Hannah. Learning how to survive, how to move forward, how to accept love isn’t easy. When haunting memories take over and overwhelming guilt, going it alone is impossible.
“I want you to teach me.”
Daniel to the rescue!
When family acquaintance, Daniel, offers to help and teach her how to accept all those things again, Hannah takes him up on his offer. Rules are put in place to ensure feelings don’t become involved, but when the lines begin to blur, hearts are affected.
Daniel has been through his own traumatic experiences, but time has not healed those wounds. Becoming Hannah’s Teacher may also teach him a thing or two about forgiving, accepting, and falling in love. Not only will the lines between teacher and lover bluer, so will the lines between who is the teacher and who is the student.
Teacher is a raw and emotional read that will yank your heartstrings. I felt such a connection with the characters as they struggled with their guilt over events they could not control. Daniel is a loving and caring teacher who cares deeply for Hannah. She puts her future in his hands, unaware of where the future leads. Fiona Cole did an incredible job of putting Hannah’s story into words that seep deep into your soul and mind. Watching as Hannah and Daniel help heal and teach each other is a therapeutic journey of epic and erotic proportions.
I loved this series and the finale was perfect. All the characters we’ve come to know and love showed up for the final curtain call. Some were front and center, others part of the background, but they all played a part in closing out the show with a bang.
I truly don’t know how she does it but Fiona Cole continues to surprise me. Teacher blew me away with the sexiness, the romance, and the amazing growth of both Daniel and Hanna. Easily my favorite book of the series and my favorite couple.
While I haven’t read everything Fiona Cole has written….yet. I have to say that Teacher is probably my most favorite of her books and of the Voyeur series. I will be sad to say goodbye to this world but what a goodbye it is. Daniel has been a part of all the Voyeur books and as the owner of Voyeur, he has had input in nearly every relationship that has occurred thus far. He, however, doesn’t do relationships. He figures it is just how he is wired…of course we find out differently. We finally hear about HIS past and what drives him. Enter Hanna. We already know a bit of what she’s been through in earlier books but this book takes us deeper into her mind and what she has to deal with, how hard she’s had to fight and how far she has come. But there are still some issues she needs to overcome and Daniel, her friend, may be just the person to help her. Definitely age gap (but definitely not judging…same age gap my hubby and I have lol), but lovely emotion, definite healing for each of them and well…what can I say, there is always amazing steam in Fiona Cole’s stories.
I absolutely adore Fiona Cole’s Voyuer world. Teacher is like the end of an era, but what an ending it is. I have loved everything about this series and all of the characters, and it is so bittersweet that this is the end of a fantastic series. Needless to say, Teacher definitely goes out with a bang.
Daniel and Hanna were such strong, compelling, and beautifully written characters. They were just so perfect for each other in every way. The slow progression of their friends to lovers relationship was a beautiful thing. They pushed one another, brought out the best possible versions of each other, and loved in such a genuine and authentic way. They both struggle with their own personal traumas, and they ultimately helped each other heal. And I loved and appreciated this emotional aspect which was just as wonderful as their intimate moments. Their story was raw and unfiltered, and it displayed incredible strength and bravery.
Teacher is raw, heart wrenching, extremely moving and steamy as hell, with some well-placed humour and laughter to balance it out. Fiona Cole tackles hard hitting topics beautifully and masterfully interlaces them with passionate love scenes. This book is filled to the brim with emotions, hotness and angst. Although I am sad that the Voyeur series is over, I am excited to see what Fiona Cole has in store for us next.
