I promised her that I’d live my best life once I was free. It was that promise that led me to Voyeur–to Daniel. What better place to conquer my fear of intimacy than a club that allows you to watch? Who better to help me than the owner himself? On night one, my past comes roaring back, urging me to run like I always had before. This time I ran into his arms. With my fear still clinging to my …
With my fear still clinging to my skin, he brushed it away and made his own promise.
“I’ll teach you.”
His promise turns to friendship. A friendship turns to passion.
We didn’t know what to do with that passion— between the not-so-broken girl and the man who promised to never love again.
Daniel and I started because of a promise, and I hoped that we wouldn’t end because of one too.
Teacher is Daniel and Hanna’s steamy, tension-filled, friends-to-lovers standalone romance. The last book in the bestselling Voyeur series.

Talk about Holy Hotness!! From the very first book Voyeur to Teacher this series is one of my all time favorites!! Fiona Cole wrote Hanna and Daniel’s story that gave me so many different emotions and it was HOTT AF!! Never have I rooted for two people to get together then I have these two. This is angsty, an emotional roller coaster and full of swoon worthy moments that had me devouring this book in one sitting. Hannah is the timid woman not fully immersed into society and wanting to be more free. Daniel, ever the bachelor, to read his story unfold was mesmerizing and I loved him from the first page to the last. Hannah and Daniel’s story is beautifully emotional, real, and sexy as hell! I’m sad this is the last book in the Voyeur Series but it is one that I will reread again again!!
This last book in the Voyeur series is one I have been waiting for. I am still a newbie to this author, but after reading Another and Savior, Hanna’s story is what I really wanted to read.
Saying Hanna went through hell is a bit of an understatement, nine years ago she was kidnapped and assaulted almost every day for 4 months. After extensive therapy, Hanna was finally able to feel and say she is healing, except in one area, intimacy. She longs to find the love like what her friends and family has, and she longs to be able to be touched. So with the amazing inner strength Hanna has, she takes things into her own hands. Enter Voyeur and Daniel. Unfortunately after her first try, memories assaulted her. But fortunately for her, Daniel was right there to offer her his help. What emerges is an amazing journey of friendship, acceptance, patience and love that they both so desperately wanted and needed.
The last few books I’ve read, the heroine has been who inspired and impressed me and Hanna is not different, but Daniel was just as amazing! He also has a tragic past and sees helping Hanna as a way to redeem himself from his past. The patience, tenderness and taking Hanna out of her comfort zone are just some of the things that make him so swoony. I absolutely loved the connection between these two. Hanna felt safe with Daniel, he was the perfect person to help her. She was able to get past her fears and let go. The sexual chemistry was off the charts.
I felt so many emotions reading this book: the horror reading the prologue, heartbreak of Hanna’s fears, awestruck with Hanna’s strength, swooning with Daniel’s understanding and patience, heart pounding with all that sexual tension. However there were times I became a bit frustrated with Daniel too, his reaction to Hanna’s confession close to the end just gutted me. But then to see the ultimate happily ever after was all worth it. A beautiful story and I definitely recommend it.
Freaking loved this book. Heck, i loved the entire series. It was great. Couldn’t get enough of these characters if i tried. I loved Daniel from the first time i met him earlier in the book with his club Veyour that he owns with Kent.. Hanna, god she’s such a strong woman to overcome what she’s been thru as a teenager and now an adult trying to navigate everything. Daniel was a great friend to her and to help her find her control in situations. I honestly loved the little bits and pieces we got of the other couple from past books in the series. Lets also talk about how amazing this cover is! So beautiful. Very Daniel for sure. i can not praise this book or series venough if you haven’t started it yet. CHOP CHOP DUDE. WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR? You’ll thank me later hell your significant other might too. LOL
This book is a top 2020 read for me.
It was impactful and beautifully written.
This is what I felt reading this beautiful book!!
Treasure those in your life

Fiona Cole is so talented. She writes these complex incredible characters who you fall in love with. I’ve been so excited for Hanna’s story and Daniel is amazing. Hanna’s past was life changing and how she develops and grows through this book was so heart felt. Watching Daniel grow was well pulls at the heart strings!
This book deals with hard issues and how people address them, how to open your heart and feelings for those you love and care about. I love all the characters from all of Fiona’s books and love how they take care of each other!!
Rad this book, read all these books in the series and fall in love with Fiona Cole and these amazing characters.
Overall Grade:
“‘I – I want you to teach me.’”
“‘I can do that.’ I hope.”
It is right here where Fiona Cole foreshadows the actions of this book. This story tells the story of Erik’s sister (Erik’s book is Savior), Hanna, and Voyeur co-owner, Daniel. Throughout Fiona Cole’s Voyeur series, these two have played parts as ancillary characters. If you’ve read Savior, then you should be familiar with Hanna’s traumatic past. It’s in Teacher, where Cole shows her maturity as a writer, as she develops the complexity of Hanna’s journey. While it is hard to say this is my favorite Voyeur book (it’s too hard to choose because I love each of them), I do believe it’s her most thoughtful and expertly-written one. Cole flexes her writing muscle here, showing us how much more she has to give in future books.
So, why should you read this book…this series?
For one, Hanna’s trauma is human trafficking. In our world, this is an important issue as young women daily are sold into slavery. In Cole’s careful crafting of Hanna’s story in both Savior and Teacher, she exposes the dangers and consequences of this world. I was nervous going into this book because Cole would need to pull back from her typical characterizations of her heroines in this series. They are all powerful, intelligent, $exual beings. With Hanna, there is a careful line that she must walk as Hanna learns to embrace intimate moments. She is like Cole’s other heroines: intelligent and beautiful, but her strength has a depth that is greater than Cole’s other heroines. To walk with her through this story, Cole invests us in Hanna’s development, and she does it so seriously and astutely that you see Cole conscientiousness as a writer. As a devoted reader, you feel a certain amount of pride in acknowledging this growth. She deftly characterizes Hanna, so that you don’t feel uncomfortable with her evolution.

The one way that Cole accomplishes this is through the elaboration of her hero, Daniel. If you’ve been paying attention in Lovers, Another, and Liar, then you know that Daniel, while seemingly averse to commitment, provides much of the relationship advice to other characters. He’s wise with other characters, and he sees the essence of a person more than most in Cole’s Voyeur world. Therefore, it isn’t a surprise that Daniel is, in my estimation, one of the most sensitive heroes in this series. There is a kindness to him. He is still very alpha in his characterization, but Cole creates a strain of vulnerability in him. And this is NECESSARY for a heroine such as Hanna. This coupling can only happen between these two because Daniel has a depth of experience (not just in the bedroom) that gently helps Hanna connect with intimacy again. Together, these two are magic.
Another way that Cole illustrates her capacity as a writer of romance is in her development of the intimate scenes. Fiona Cole can write the heck out of a bedroom scene. Liar, one of her dirtiest Voyeur books (well, along with Lover), precedes Teacher. Yet, Cole writes these exquisite intimate scenes between Hanna and Daniel that build in chemistry and heat. There is no jumping straight into the fire. It’s clear how mindful Cole is in developing Hanna’s intimacy. For me, this was the biggest insight into Cole as a writer. There is such careful construction here that it is absolutely believable that Daniel and Hanna would eventually find their happy ending. It also is the showcase of Cole’s writing prowess.
I am officially in mourning now. With Teacher, the Voyeur world ends, and I am left to think about these characters who I have loved from the start. There is an incredibly sweet and steamy epilogue, but I already know that I will miss this world. This final book, Teacher, is a perfect ending to this world, but the careful artistry of this story feels important. It’s a reminder that our pasts don’t have to hold us captive in our present. Instead, as we see with Hanna and Daniel, letting go of those things that haunt us can lead to an abundant, love-filled future. I’m fairly certain I will need a bonus scene in the future, so I can spend more time with this world that has both titillated and challenged readers.
“He’d been my moment—my person that had helped me face the darkest parts and beat them. He’d been the person to remind me that I could have done it all along. […] He tasted like home.”

This book was AMAZING!!! I don’t tend to link age-gap books, but Fiona Coles are one of the few I will ever read because she has a way of writing that makes you fall head over heels in love with the characters.
Teacher was everything, I legit was crying in the beginning wanting to hug and protect Hanna. Hanna was someone who I didn’t like or care about in the previous books, but wow…. I LOVE HER!!! She just became my favorite character of this whole series. Hannah hasn’t had it easy, she has been through so much, so when she takes a step into fighting her fears, the last thing she expects is for Daniel to volunteer to help her.
Daniel was THE BEST!!! I loved him so much!! He has a past that he can’t seem to move on from, so when he decides to help Hanna, he doesn’t realize that she is actually helping him too. This book was full of angst, it was totally FIRE!!! I COULDN’T PUT IT DOWN FOR EVEN A SECOND!!! Daniel and Hanna will become your favorite Fiona Cole couple!!!
Hands down my favorite of this series and a great way to end it! I have enjoyed this journey and finally glad to see Hanna and Daniel get their time. I feel the best was saved for last.
Hanna and Daniel both had it rough and trying to find that new normal was hard but also freeing for these 2. I could feel the growth and development Hanna had to go through to reclaim her life after being rescued. Daniel just wanted to get through each day and not have to deal with having to take care of anyone but himself.
Gah I could go on an on about this but may just end if telling too much. I would highly suggest you read this one but also the other stories because all of the people in this book have a special story.
I am sad to see it end but will definitely be re-reading all of them including this one many, many times.
Everybody needs to stop what they’re doing and read this book!! The Voyeur series is nothing short of amazing, it’s beyond HOT and trust me when I say, Teacher is the best to way wrap up this series. I seriously want Daniel to teach me ALL THE THINGS…he is mmm mmm good and melted my panties for sure. Given Hanna’s traumatic past, she deserved a good man that would teach her and help her overcome her past. I felt Daniel was the perfect man for her and he definitely didn’t disappoint. Teacher’s storyline has fantastic depth and the emotional and romantic plot proved that this book is so much more than just sex. It’s about incredible strength, survival, love and perseverance. Ms. Cole did Hanna justice and gave her the story that she deserved. Teacher checked all of my boxes and gave me all the feels and emotions coupled with delicious sexy times.
Teacher is an EPIC conclusion to the Voyeur series!! Fiona Cole has once again proven she is a queen of the written word.
This is Hannah and Daniel’s story and it seems fitting that it’s the last in the series…. Daniel is the co-owner of Voyeur, the club were you can watch your fantasies come go life. The perfect place for Hannah to combat her fears. My heart absolutely broke for her. She has gone through something that no one should ever have to go through, but I also felt her strength and I felt her guilt. She’s a survivor.
“I want you to teach me.”
With the help of Daniel she hopes to overcome her last hurdle in healing….intimacy. Good lord was Daniel swoony, funny, kind, sensitive and oh so sexy. Never have I wanted a HEA as much as I did for these two.
I got to read the Arc of Teacher.
Fiona Coles new book releasing June 15th
Teacher is Daniel and Hannah’s story and part of the Voyeur world. (Daniel is the owner of Voyeur) I was so excited to get to read Daniels story. And it was everything I hoped it would be.
I loved that these two characters came together. They both needed each other. It was a beautiful story to see them becoming friends to something more and the journey they took to get there.
This book is about friends to lovers, romance, healing and Age gap. It has its sweet and swoony and steamy parts we all love. Add in the emotional parts. You may need some tissues.
Congrats on another great book Fiona Cole. I can’t wait to see what you come up with next. 🙂
When tragedy turns out to be rescued by your knight in shining armor. There is nothing like a good taboo story to get me interested. My heart was shattered for Hanna’s past. Daniel was a mess all on his own. Finding trust and magic between the two of them was happily ever after that I was looking for. Fiona did a great job with the storytelling and delivered some serious hotness! I’m sad its the last in the series by thank you for ending this story strong.
This booookkkk owned me!
All the feels!
Hanna… Erik’s sister… we’ve met her in previous books!
She has some damage and mental blocks when it comes to men and safety….
Daniel… whew. Love this guy big… He’s literally exactly the type of man Hanna needs… to help teach her men can be patient, kind, and hot as hell.
Highly recommend the entire Voyeur world…
This book may be my fav… spoiler alert, I say that every book though.
Fiona Cole
Fiona Cole really brought her all to her newest release TEACHER! Dealing with tough subjects, intense situations, troubled pasts, I was really impressed with the way Ms Cole handled this incredible story line! We already knew Daniel and Hanna from previous books in this series and I was really looking forward to their story! Daniel, so confident he can help Hanna over come her intimacy issues, agrees to teach her . Having issues himself, he feels there’s no chance that they could become more than friends. Read the book to find out, I loved it! Such steamy scenes and subject matter, chemistry was off the charts. I simply couldn’t put this book down. This is the last book of the series, and I will surely miss them all! Definitely will be doing a re-read in the near future!
Teacher was really a great book. I was actually surprised how much I liked it, as normally I’m not a big fan of storylines that include kidnapping, but with this I was just all in. Hanna was such a lovely character, and Daniel!!! He was just everything!! I loved how they both had such a great connection.
The character development in this book is just phenomenal! Hanna’s character has been through a lot and I loved how she wasn’t just defined by what happened to her but she was just so much more. I really loved reading her character and see how she evolves. Really a great character arc. And Daniel, he’s such a lovely person. I totally fell for him in this book!
The whole storyline of Hanna and Daniel was great. How they became friends and confidants for each other. Gawd, I just loved how they evolved as friends and as a couple.
SPEECHLESS!! JUST SPEECHLESS!! TEACHER by Fiona Cole Took Me to Another Place and left me TOTALLY SPEECHLESS!!!
Hanna and Daniel Storytelling was Captivating and Passionately Entertaining with a Side of Darkness!!
I laughed, cried and went through an Emotional battle with the characters. Their friendship grew even with their insecurities so vulnerable…it melted my heart!
Teacher by Fiona Cole is one of my top most anticipated books this year. While I love every single one of the books from the Voyeur series, Daniel and Hannah’s story is the one I’ve been the most excited about. This story met every single one of my expectations and more. I knew Daniel and Hannah’s story was not going to be an easy one, but it was beautiful. I loved experiencing their love story and watching them evolve, grow, and overcome so many struggles. They were PERFECT for each other, both exactly what the one needed.
I FLOVED this book so much, I almost wish I go back in time just so could experience reading it for the first time all over again. Ms. Cole delivered a MASTERPIECE and ended this series beautifully.
Let me start by saying I’m super sad this is the last book of the series. I feel like so much more can happen with these couples. Not so much adding MORE couples, but adding more to their stories as is. So here’s hoping these guys still talk to Fiona and force her to write novellas of what is happening in their world.
Now on to the review.
I knew getting Hanna’s backstory would be tough. And it was. But getting Daniel’s backstory was a surprise.
Also a surprise is all the others joining in on this couple. It was so great to “see” everyone.
I love that they are older Hanna 26 and Daniel almost 40 (we don’t get an exact age so I’m thinking 38). I’m tired of the teenage/high school stories I’ve been reading lately.
Be prepared with tissues. Be prepared with an extra set of panties. Be prepared to maul your SO while or after reading some very nice sex scenes.
What I’d like more of is THEM after. But that is always something I want when I read a great story. I’m never satisfied. #facts
~I volunteered to read an advance copy.
I’m so devastated that this fantastic series has to end, but Fiona is ending with an earth shattering bang- because Teacher is the strongest story in the series, and my new favorite. I’m in love the Voyeur series- a brilliant and impassioned exploration of forbidden and unexpected love, taboos and titillating scenarios that are grounded by emotionally complex and well crafted love stories- stories that are as touching, as tender, as moving as they are salacious. Fiona has set a new standard in the genre- combining old tropes and taboos to forge a niche that is uniquely her own own, a Fiona Cole genre in and of itself. I will miss this brilliant series.
I’ve loved every story, with a special tender spot in my heart for our series starter Voyeur, so it seems poetic that we finally get the mysterious club owner’s story as the denouement of this fantastic series. In teacher, we finally get to know more about what makes Daniel tick.
But, this story is really Hanna’s- and what a powerful journey of liberation and strength. Fiona is trying to claim her body and intimacy after years in recovery from her experiencing horrific trauma. She wants to reclaim her life- most importantly, her sexuality, and ends up under the tutelage of Daniel- who better than the man who started a sex club?
As we explore Hanna’s sexual recovery, we learn more about Daniel’s history. Not only is he wickedly attracted to the strong, but wounded Hanna, but her cries for help recall in him his own past regrets and pain. As their physical and emotional chemistry deepens,
Fiona brilliantly juxtaposes the horrific traumas that have shaped both Daniel and Hanna’s pasts and each character’s emotional baggage. What transpires is an emotional, complex and surprisingly gentle mutual liberation of two perfectly matched and beautiful souls.
Fiona caringly develops both Daniel and Hanna as characters. They are more than their traumas, more than headlines we’ve seen thus far. Fiona digs deep, and then she digs deeper- we see into each of their hearts and souls as each explores the dark influences that chain them- Hanna’s body, and Daniel’s heart. Daniel was so much more patient, kind, and compassionate that I expected. His heart, his vulnerability was unexpected- his guilt and hesitancy was heartbreaking. And his tender care, the way he nurtured and accepted Hanna- the safety he created for her- was astoundingly beautiful and made me fall madly in love with this man. And Hanna. She is fantastically brave, bold in the face of her fears, strong because she’s vulnerable. She’s charming and witty- adorably awkward at times. I admired and adored her- felt my heart break for her past and present pain, rooted for her progress. Fiona’s care for these characters shines through every carefully laid word. And they are so well suited- like two uniquely interlocking pieces designed just for each other.
And, of course, the steam is top notch. We get Voyeur fun, but we also get plenty of intimate and tender moments, too. Fiona is the pinnacle of explicit romance- every sexual scene is mouth wateringly HOT yet emotive and meaningful. These characters might be tentative when it comes to their romance, but their chemistry is not- it is explosive, SCORCHING- I could literally feel sparks flying off my kindle.
Their path is not easy- hearts hurt, pain is revisited, and emotions soar. But Teacher is the sweetest of the series, in my opinion- the most tender and intimate. This is a story of mutual healing, as Daniel and Hanna both confront the underbelly of the psychological impact of their pasts. In order to reclaim their power, they each must confront the darkest recesses of their hearts, fueled by the strength and comfort of their liberating love for each other.
Since this our finale, Fiona treats us to snippets of all our prior couples and characters- a delightful bit of fan service but that also keeps the plot moving and makes this finale that much more bittersweet. A few of our characters play a pivotal role in helping Hanna and especially Daniel break through their emotional blockades- which just reminds me of how much I love each one of them. What a fantastic and unique world she’s created for us in this series! And, what a fittingly epic conclusion we have in Teacher- a story that touched my heart and ingrained itself in my soul. I could not have asked for a better finale!
Deserves more than 5 Stars. It’s an age gap, friends to lovers. I love this book so freaking much!!! It gave me ALL THE FEELS!! It’s so much more than just a romance book. It’s also about healing, overcoming demons, acceptance, fear. u2063

Daniel and Hanna were two very broken people. They helped each other overcome the fear that they carried with them for years. Hanna was a survivor of sex trafficking. I won’t reveal what Daniel was going through, but he promised to never love again. Hanna wanted to fully overcome her fear so Daniel volunteered to help her. It was so steamy. Wow. We finally get to understand the full meaning of why Daniel started Voyeur with Kent. I already want to reread it. Lol it’s such a freaking bittersweet feeling that this is the last book of the series. I LOVE every characters. Highly, highly recommended!!! u2063
Sleep is overrated when you have the man. The legend. And Daniel in your hands. Teacher by author Fiona Cole was everything I imagined and SOOOO MUCH MORE!!!
I couldn’t put ot down. I stayed up all night reading till the very last page…I was consumed from cover to cover and everything in between. The characters, the storyline, and the words ALL grabbed my heart and every emotion, leaving me speechless and completely blown away. Standing ovation Fiona!
