I promised her that I’d live my best life once I was free. It was that promise that led me to Voyeur–to Daniel. What better place to conquer my fear of intimacy than a club that allows you to watch? Who better to help me than the owner himself? On night one, my past comes roaring back, urging me to run like I always had before. This time I ran into his arms. With my fear still clinging to my …
With my fear still clinging to my skin, he brushed it away and made his own promise.
“I’ll teach you.”
His promise turns to friendship. A friendship turns to passion.
We didn’t know what to do with that passion— between the not-so-broken girl and the man who promised to never love again.
Daniel and I started because of a promise, and I hoped that we wouldn’t end because of one too.
Teacher is Daniel and Hanna’s steamy, tension-filled, friends-to-lovers standalone romance. The last book in the bestselling Voyeur series.

This is absolutely the best book that Fiona has ever written. I literally just finished, and I already ordered the paperback — that’s how badly I need this beauty as my own.
Anyone who knows me knows how passionate I am and how much I advocate for women and men who have been sexually assaulted/abused. It’s a subject matter that I hope dear to my heart; rape culture is very prevalent in our society especially with the way we victim blame and with the way rape kits are handled. Because of that, and my own past, I connected with this book something fierce.
The prologue alone gutted me, but throughout the entire time I was reading, I kept bouncing back and forth between crying, laughing and swooning. Hannah and Daniel are what all love stories strive to be about, and I could not love them more.
Hannah was kidnapped and was a victim of sex trafficking. She was so freaking young, and had her innocence stolen from her in more ways than one. Fast forward nine years later, she’s still very much a prisoner in her own mind despite believing she is as healed as someone can be after surviving that kind of abuse. She wants to be able to have sex again, but is terrified of the intimacy that comes with it. So when Daniel offers to teach her and to let her explore that sexual side of her, they have no idea that both of their lives will forver be changed.
I adored everything about Daniel — He just exudes strength, and is genuinely such a good guy with a huge heart. For as long as he’s known Hannah, he’s felt a connection towards her but that only intensifies as he teaches her to reconnect to the sexual goddess that she is. I love, love, LOVE that Hannah heals him just as much as he heals her. He has scars from his past trauma as well, and Fiona handles these sensitive subject matters with such grace.
This book is definitely more emotional than the previous installments in the series, but that in no way means it’s lacking the heat factor. Talk about needing to cool down!
I can’t express my love for these two enough; they were just so perfect for each other in every way. They pushed one another, brought out the best possible versions of each other, and loved in such a genuine way. I also lived for all the bromance scenes! Plus all the ladies welcoming Hannah into their circle made my eyes water. All these females are badass lady bosses who I adore!
Please go read this book. Even if you are skeptical because of the heavy subject matter, read it anyways. It’s definitely one of the best books of the year.
**I received an ARC of this book and these are my honest opinions!**
Trigger warnings: rape/sexual trafficking, mental illness, suicide.
Teacher is the perfect ending to the Voyeur Series. I have really loved all of the books in this series, but I can certainly say that Daniel and Hanna’s story was beautifully written. Fiona truly captures the love and warmth between them even though they are both dealing with life altering issues from their past. It is sweet, oh so sexy, but also gritty at times because of the kidnapping back story. You will laugh, you will swoon, and at times your eyes will certainly tear up.
What’s that expression…all good things must come to an end Why, why, why does this need to end!
I have loved my journey through the Voyeur world. All couples brought something special to the table, but I think Daniel and Hannah’s journey knocked it out of the park. These two were such a beautiful couple. They both endured tragic events in their lives, each of them soothing the other in a way they never imagined they’d experience.
The slow progression of their friends to lovers relationship was perfect. They spent time together talking, laughing and getting comfortable with one another. Daniel’s patience with Hannah’s insecurities brought tears to my eyes. He was gentle, understanding and down right respectful of Hannah and her boundaries. Hannah was the definition of strong. Her resilience in life was admirable and I love how she put herself out there with Daniel.
I loved this story and the two of them together brought tears to my eyes. They were sweet and vulnerable together, it made their road to happiness so deserved. Great characters, great writing, great bromance banter, great series
Hannah and Daniel
I truly loved this series and I’m sad to see it ending. I waited impatiently for Hannah and Daniel’s story and it didn’t disappoint! How do you write a story about sexual discovery with a background like Hannah’s? Just like this! This was brilliant writing. Daniel’s process of helping Hannah discover herself and her sexuality was just an incredibly thought out journey. There was no jumping straight into sex and all past traumas were forgotten. It was a step by step situation that Daniel was very aware of. He asked questions and made sure she was dealing in a healthy way every step of process. I’m so blown away by the thoughtfulness put into this book. The interaction between past characters was funny and reflected a family element from all of these characters we’ve invested in over the course if the series. The story was beautiful, hot as hell, and just perfect!
Fiona Cole gifted me an exhilarating and exquisite mix of feels and passion in Teacher. My heart was completely wrecked and overflowing with intense emotions. And at the same time, I got all the delicious, toe curling and gloriously forbidden treats!
Hanna Brandt had experienced and survived the worst nightmare of a woman. She was abused and used. And lost her sister in the darkness. She is fighting everyday but the past still has claws in her heart. And she wants to break the last shackles. And that is her fear of intimacy. Daniel is the co owner of the sex club Voyeour and also a trusted family friend. And an older man with alpha hotness probably shouldn’t be the best choice. But when he offers his help, Hanna realised she trusts him without a doubt. And the lessons begin. And things are bound to get complicated. Specially with Daniel’s tortured past.
Fiona Cole is the queen of forbidden age gap romance. She is my go to author in this specific trope and wow she just exceeded all my expectations. Hanna and Daniels hit me hard with all the heartbreaking, intense and soul deep emotions. Daniel is EVERYTHING that can slay my heart in a second. A bit broken, a bit closed, a bit dark, a whole lot of alpha, a whole lot of dominating, a whole lot of protective- the complete jaw dropping and mouth watering pacakage. My heart and panties were a lost cause for this sexy as hell and gorgeous man. And the way he cared and cherished and nurtured Hanna? Be still my heart! Come on, a lady can only resist that much! He pushed Hanna beyond her comfort zone and made her face the demons she was hiding from. He didn’t slay the dragon for her, rather he made Hanna strong enough to do her own slaying. And Hanna is a true inspiration. She was hurt, she was broken and she came back stronger. She still has healing to do but I am awed by her beautiful fights. She showed Daniel that he has issues to get over with and brought this extraordinary man on his knees.
The chemistry was FIRE! They have this sizzling hot connection that was evident from the first meeting. And then Fiona Cole just upped the game till it reached the inferno intensity. It was sensual. It was dirty and filthy. And it was about Hanna getting her power back! That’s the beauty of sex in this story. Daniel ruled her body but with her consent and on her demand. It was a precarious situation but Fiona dealt with it excellently. Of course both of them are scarred and scared and they will do stupid things like breaking each other’s heart till they realize that they are incomplete without each other!
Fiona Cole bruised my heart and at the same time filled it with heartwarming emotions. Teacher was a sexy, sinful, soulful and completely mesmerising story! I didn’t want it to end!
When Fiona says this book is the last in the series I was like noooo this series should NEVER end!!
“I want you to teach me.”
But knowing that the last book would be about Hanna and Daniel I just knew she saved the best book till last.
And boy did she give us the BEST.BOOK.EVER!!
When you find out Hanna’s story in Saviour(Her brothers book) I felt so damn sorry for what she went through. My heart broke for her.
ARE YOU READY TO WATCH?
Daniel I loved him straight away and couldn’t wait to get to know him more in his book. Man oh man I freaking loved him in this book so so much.
Reading this book it made me feel either emotional or had me fanning myself because it was so hot and sexy.
Everything about Daniel and Hanna made my heart so happy. I laughed, cried, giggled and swooned all the way through.
Omg! I loved this book so much! Daniel and Hanna were perfect. I loved how strong she was. And I loved how Daniel helped her find her strength. This was a quick, hot, emotional read that grabbed hold of my heart and hasn’t let go. Everybody needs to read this book right now!
Fiona has ended this series with one of the best books she has written to date, in my humble opinion. This series of standalones has bled emotion, heartache and sexiness throughout, and Teacher erupts with all of those things and more!
Straight up, I did not want to like Hanna that much. I’m not a complete monster and I was devastated about the horrific things that happened in her past, but it was hard for me to not stew on the whole thing with Ian and Carina. Here I am making it sound like you can’t read Teacher as a standalone and you absolutely can but I HIGHLY recommend reading this whole series because it has some of the best richly developed characters. Back to Hanna…she is right up there at the top as one of my favorite female leads! I love her take-charge attitude and determination to get control of her intimacy. I love that she’s not afraid to want those things after everything she has been through. She has come such a long way and feels she has a complete hold on her PTSD.
Enter Daniel. Sigh. We’ve all smiled and swooned over him throughout everyone else’s story and now he’s here!! The charm is real with this man. He’s confident, loyal and honest with his love for his business, family and friends—his bromance with Kent is ALL THE THINGS! ALL. THE. THINGS. Mutual allure leads Hanna and Daniel to connect. His genuine warmth has Hanna comfortable around him and that’s huge for her. Daniel sees their growing friendship and their “lessons” as a way he can help in a way that eluded him in a past relationship.
Hanna and Daniel enter into a seemingly innocent agreement with the best of intentions but their attraction is soon undeniable. Both sides try to fight it but they soon find themselves craving more, yet at the same time feelings of guilt keep gnawing away at their ability to truly open up. Emotions are high and heartache is tangible while Hanna and Daniel must both work on themselves before accepting the warmth and love that has blossomed between them.
Teacher hurts so good. So, SO good. It is a bittersweet end to this world Fiona has created but I can’t think of a better story to end with. Hanna and Daniel’s story has all the usual elements of this author’s fantastic storytelling, with a message of hope being out front. 5+ stars for this beautifully written story of deep tragic loss and a chance at true love so well deserved!
The final book in the Voyeur series brings us full circle with the characters and I am sad to see them go. Each book in the series has introduced us not only to a new couple but to a diferent theme however I found this one to be the most intense and emotional and this weas because of Hanna’s backstory which was truly heartbreaking. I loved Daniel and Hanna their story was steamy passionate and hot hot hot. I became hooked on this story early on it had a grip on me and it didn’t let go. The story was a raw emotional look at the healing of Hanna and of Daniel which I loved.
I think this may be Cole’s hottest book to date. It was all kinds of sexy and I loved the journey to Daniel and Hanna’s HEA!
Hanna has a pretty awful past, she was kidnapped and placed in a sex trafficking ring. She was rescued but not before awful things happened to her and her twin sister. That was in her past, as a young teenager. She’s had therapy and came out the other side and she’s trying to move on. Now at 26, she wants to be able to have a relationship with intimacy but she still has fear over it. Daniel offers to help her overcome this at his club Voyeur, in a safe and controlled way. One of the things I loved about Hannah was how she wasn’t ashamed by sex after what she went through and wanted to own it.
The journey that Daniel and Hanna go on is so sensual and sexy. An innocent offer to help Hannah becomes so much more, something both of them never seen coming and a deep connection formed early on. Daniel recognises Hannah’s struggles and I just loved how he took care of her and helped her, never questioning her or giving her pity. He made her feel and this was everything Hanna wanted.
Daniel also had his own struggles from when he was younger, when he wasn’t able to save someone and looks at Hanna as his redemption.
Daniel will make you swoon so bad, you will wish it was you he was helping. But together as a pairing, they are perfect. Daniel pushes Hannah to confront her fears in an honest way, all while she helps him with his. There were moments of pure raw emotion (this girl has gone through a lot) and lots of moments with scorching heat.
I can’t believe this is the end of the series for this group of friends. Every book teased and taunted and I took each couple into my heart. A must-read and a definite must-read series!

Having this be the last book is a little bittersweet.
I have loved everything about this series and all of the characters. I have always had a soft spot for Hanna knowing that Haven was created because of her and Sophia and the reasons why. Hanna’s backstory is heartbreaking. Up to this point, most of it was inferred but now details are coming out and to hear them, as well as to feel all the emotions that she feels from guilt to trying to live two lives just about made my heart break into pieces.
I liked that the author had taken the time to explain a little bit more of where Hanna’s mindset was with the whole Ian and Carina debacle was and also how drastically that relationship has changed. However, the surprise of this story was Daniel. Good Lord. I loved him with Kent and their bromance but never, and I mean never, did I think he would have the ability to make me swoon as he did in this one. The way that he nurtures and dotes on Hanna is the reason why I read romance. The connection was beautiful and the steam was incredible. The way he gave her “firsts”, yeah, trust me when I say this was mind-blowingly incredible. He almost topped Ian. Almost, and that is a major feat considering Ian is one of my all-time favorite boyfriends.
I am not sure where this author is going to take me next, but regardless, I will gladly follow her wherever her muse takes her.
Honestly….OFF THE CHARTS HOT!!!
So, I finished this book a few days ago and I have NOT been able to get it off of my mind.
I CANNOT believe this is the end of one of my all time favorite series, BUT WHAT A WAY TO GO!!!
Book 6 brings us an epic friends-to-lovers story to conclude what has been one of the hottest, steamiest series that I’ve read to date. The book can be read as a standalone if you choose, but I believe you’ll appreciate all of the cameo cast of appearances in this book if you start the journey from the beginning with Voyeur. Still, book 6 was everything that I hoped it would be AND more!
Hanna Brandt is quite the heroine. Trafficked as a teenager and found by her brother months later, only to lose her sister Sophia in the process, Hanna has been through the darkness and is trying to claw her way into the light she sees around her. Surrounded by couples in the Voyeur world who are hopelessly in love and irresistibly affectionate, Hanna knows what she wants…Intimacy.
She hopes to gather the strength within herself to share her life with someone who will cherish her the way the men of the Voyeur world (Jake, Jackson, Ian, Erik, Kent and Callum) cherish the ladies in their lives. Her problem? Intimacy with a man she doesn’t really know scares her to death. It’s too painful and so she heads to Voyeur thinking that if she can just watch intimacy play out in any of its various forms, she can build up to having that for herself one day.
While at the club, a friend/aquaintance of the group named Daniel offers to help her. Hanna is comfortable with him and so she accepts and the pair build a closeness neither has felt before. Daniel is Kent’s best buddy and business associate, so we know he’s been around the block a time or two as players often do. He knows how to treat a woman and how to show her a good time, but he’s surprised when he begins to see Hanna as a mature, beguiling, and insightful young woman.
-Daniel looked at me like I was the only woman in the world. “You’re wrong, Hanna. You are strong. The strongest woman I know. You may not have wanted to survive, but you did.”
As the trust between the two builds and solidifies, the embers of desire begin to burn big and bright! These two SIZZLE!! Oh. My. Goodness…..HOT< HOT< HOT! I wanted to reach into the pages of this book, grab Daniel by the shirt collar and drag him away for myself. Feeling like Hanna deserves better than him, he does his best to resist after Hanna has gained her confidence and makes her feelings for Daniel known. Thankfully, we can rely on the guys of Voyeur to give him the "pep talk" he's desperate for....LMAO...LOVE these guys. "Show her she's important enough to fight for, unless she isn't, then I'll be happy to beat the shit out of you." Gotta love big brother Erik and his poetic use of the English language!!! The banter between all of our favorite alpha heroes was nothing short of hilarious at times! Kent and Daniel have one special Bro-mance, and Erik has some of the best lines if you ask me. Most of them I can't quote in a book review..... All of that adds to the obvious connection that you feel between Daniel and Hanna, totally selling this story hook, line and sinker. It's SOO GOOD! I am going to miss the cast of characters from Voyeur, Haven and Voy more than I can say. I guess that's why they make re-reads!!! There has been something unique and special about each and every characters journey to find love and I am so thankful to have enjoyed each moment. I look forward to how Fiona Cole will wow me next. I have total faith in her and highly recommend you give this series a try. It gets better and better, so you're sure to love it.
This story was brave, sexy AF, and heart-melting.
“Daniel made my chest warm, and my heart speed up and slow down at the same time.”
Hanna has intimacy issues. With her traumatic history, she has managed to live her life as normally as possible and only has this final hurdle to overcome that, unfortunately, has been almost impossible to do. Daniel is an older guy who she feels oddly comfortable with. When he proposes a somewhat unorthodox plan to her, she’s desperate enough but trusts him enough to take a chance.
“Her trust hammered away a little more of the distance I kept around my heart, creating a crevice to slide into.”
Daniel is a man who has vowed never to love again. With his own tragic history, he’s fine with his single life the way it is, but has no problem enjoying female companionship wherever he finds it – mainly at his club, Voyeur. However, there is just something about Hanna that draws him in. When he realises that he can help her in his own unique way, he’s thrilled for the chance to spend time with her. Although, when the lines of friendship starts to blur beyond recognition, are they both willing to let go of their pasts to move forward together?
“You are all I see. Jesus, you’re all I’ve seen since we met. You steal my attention whenever you walk into a room.”
OMG! This story was all kinds of hot! I loved their connection, their attraction, and the trust they built between them. Both Hanna and Daniel are in denial about their pasts and how it’s affecting them still in the present day. Hanna is confident and sassy except when it comes to men. Daniel seems like a playboy but he has such a big, caring heart. This story was heartbreaking, angsty and life-affirming, as well as super sexy! Adored it!
What an ending to an incredible series! This book was the final one in the voyeur series and in my opinion the most emotional. Hanna is a survivor of sex trafficking and is ready to move forward with intimacy. The only man she can be near is Voeyur club owner Daniel. Daniel offers to help Hanna overcome her fears and become more comfortable so she can one day have a relationship. Both characters are still running from their traumatic pasts and living with boxes of fear. This book focuses on overcoming traumas and moving past surviving to living again. Hanna’s story is a difficult one to tell and was handled with so much care by Fiona. Daniel was everything you could hope for in a hero for Hanna and so loveable. Both had to face their fears and find their inner strength and bravery. We got to see many of our other favorite characters from the series make appearances and share meaningful moments with the main characters. As always there’s no shortage of steamy scenes and this one packs an extra emotional punch. I’m devestated the series is over but excited to read what will come next! This was the perfect way to end the series.
Fantastic.
That’s the word I’d use for Daniel and Hanna’s book.
It was the most beautiful book with strong emotions and heartbreaking topics being brought to light in the way no one but Fiona can do.
Filled with heat, passion, laughter, high emotions and angst, this couldn’t have been a better end to the Voyeur series! Fiona made sure that ‘Teacher’was perfect for Daniel and Hanna.
This story is filled with feels. So many many feels. Hanna is a survivor. An absolute warrior who is slightly withdrawn. However she wants to take back her life. But she needs help. Enter the oh so very hot and charming Daniel. He promises to be a friend and teacher to her but this friends-with-benefits thing is going to muddle things. It always does.
What was fantastic was how Daniel was able to give Hanna the freedom and courage to test the waters while making sure she always felt safe and comfortable. Daniel is a fantastic man even though he is determined to remain single. He is caring, understanding and passionate. I loved the bromance between Daniel and Kent. It was great to see plus the interactions with the other characters from previous books was brilliant. I would have liked there to have been a little bit more conflict between Hanna and Daniel. There was something lacking. I’m not too sure what it was but I just wanted a little bit of something more. However as stories go, this was a well written and emotive story about taking each day at a time and not letting the past stop you living your life. Fiona does very well to take on a sensitive issue and treat it with care and show the strength of individuals who don’t let their experiences keep them down. Hanna and Daniel help heal each other in ways no other person could. It was a beautiful tale.
Fiona Cole delivers it all with Teacher. I have really enjoyed the Voyeur series and Daniel and Hanna’s story is now my favorite.
This story has a bit of everything, heat, resilient heroine, swoon worthy hero, emotional range and love. It’s beautifully developed and delivered. I’m sorry to see this series end but happy it ended with Daniel!
What a book!!! Teacher is Daniel and Hanna’s story and the last in the Voyeur series. Fiona Cole definitely left the best for last. She closed this series with one of the best books I’ve read this year so far.
Daniel and Hanna both have a tragic past. They are two broken characters who develop one of the most intense, trustworthy friendships I’ve witnessed. Their chemistry is undeniably hot and sexy. The two are perfect for each other because neither is looking to fix the other. They understand one another and trust in their friendship so much that we get to experience their growth.
I am sad that this is the last book in this series. The Voyeur series is a work of art for me. Each book can be read as a standalone, but I recommend starting from the beginning so that you can get the full experience of the Voyeur World and the amazing heroes and heroines Fiona gave us. Each book has characters who are imperfect for whatever reason (a tragic past, or some type of internal conflict, insecurity, obstacle, etc.), but they are such amazing characters that they do what they need to do in order to pull through. They are all fighters. A special shout out to the ladies in this series because each one (Oaklyn, Olivia, Alexandra, Carina, and Hanna) are bad asses. I love each one individually and I love them as a whole group. The love and support they have for each other is a true definition of what women empowering women should be. A shout out to the fellas also because their bromance was fantastic.
Thank Fiona for such an amazing series.
Oh. My. God. I’ve been waiting for what feels like for-eh-vah for the sixth and final book in Fiona Cole’s AMAZING Voyeur Series. Fiona Cole is one of my FAVOURITE authors, and as usual, she did NOT disappoint!!
The heat between Daniel and Hanna is delicious. But it’s more than heat, they begin as friends. Even though they are attracted to each other, there is care and concern and true friendship before their attraction turns into more. After surviving the horrific trauma of being kidnapped and held for several months by a sex trafficking ring, and watching her twin sister die during the ordeal, Hanna longs for intimacy. It’s the one thing she hasn’t been able to conquer in the hundreds of hours of counseling she’s gone through in the 9 years since she was rescued. There is something she trusts about Daniel, and he offers to try and help her overcome her fears. The fact that he owns Voyeur, the “live porn club” is pretty helpful in this regard.
While Daniel has an honest desire to help Hanna, he is partly motivated by guilt he carries over a relationship from many years ago. He blames himself for what he sees as his inability to help someone he loved, and it ended in tragedy. In Teacher, not only is Daniel able to help Hanna get through her fears, but Hanna is able to help him realize his own strength: he IS strong enough to love someone again. He realizes he can’t be responsible for choices another person makes. Daniel is awed by Hanna’s strength, but he is also reassured by his knowledge that she is a true survivor, and she will always survive, with or without him.
Teacher is a steamy read, but it’s also emotionally wrenching. Even trying to imagine the horrors endured by victims of sex slavery is awful. But Fiona has written Hanna as a legitimate survivor. Her strength as a person is inspirational. I love how strong Hanna is, and I love how incredibly supportive Daniel is of her, without coddling or smothering her. They make an adorable couple – and a very sweet ending to the Voyeur series. It was SO good, but I’m so sad that this is the last book in the series! Fiona! Tell us what’s next…. please???
Oh. My. God. Daniel and Hannah blew me freaking away!!! Daniel is magnetic and complex and completely irresistible! Hannah is so damn courageous and strong willed! Two really amazing characters who filled the pages of this story with so much love, and before that, friendship. This book is the FINAL book in the Voyeur Series and I have said this so many times already; Daniel was absolutely the best way to end it! I have been completely invested and committed to this sexy and consuming series and this book really took it home. Fiona introduced us to Daniel from the very beginning, he owns the club Voyeur, where we have seen all of our beloved characters sometimes work and many times play! He has always been the business driven, single guy ready to help anyone he cares for. To me he has been a little bit of a mystery because even though he seemed like a layed back simple guy, I just knew there was so many more layers we didn’t get to see. I’m so thankful Fiona brought Daniel into our minds and hearts as readers and showed us who he really is in Teacher. Hannah has also been a reoccurring character and I have to say that she is probably one of my favorite female characters EVER! She has really been through alot and her past is super painful. Her drive to move forward and live a happy and healthy life is so admirable. She has experienced loss like no one should ever have to. As a reader I completely felt her pain, sadness and depire in her darkest and hardest moment, (yes there will be tears)! While she is a survivor she is also a young and vibrant woman with a smartass mouth which I completely adored!!! Fiona brought these two characters together in the best way. I loved seeing their relationship develop. If there ever were two characters who were perfect and meant to be together I’d say it’s Hannah and Daniel hands down. Their trust for eachother and chemistry are overwhelming. Fiona always writes an extremely detailed and sexy story. You can’t help but feel like your in their world and this is extremely important to me as a reader. Fiona did an amazing job bringing ALL the characters back for the final enquor and even though I am really sad to say goodbye, I feel like we were given the best of Fiona and the Voyeur work with Teacher. This series will stay with me forever. Fiona Cole
