I promised her that I’d live my best life once I was free. It was that promise that led me to Voyeur–to Daniel. What better place to conquer my fear of intimacy than a club that allows you to watch? Who better to help me than the owner himself? On night one, my past comes roaring back, urging me to run like I always had before. This time I ran into his arms. With my fear still clinging to my …
With my fear still clinging to my skin, he brushed it away and made his own promise.
“I’ll teach you.”
His promise turns to friendship. A friendship turns to passion.
We didn’t know what to do with that passion— between the not-so-broken girl and the man who promised to never love again.
Daniel and I started because of a promise, and I hoped that we wouldn’t end because of one too.
Teacher is Daniel and Hanna’s steamy, tension-filled, friends-to-lovers standalone romance. The last book in the bestselling Voyeur series.
Are you ready to watch?
more
Teacher is the final book in the Voyeur series. This series is how I first discovered Fiona last year and I’m sad that it’s all come to an end.
Fiona has taken us on an amazing journey throughout these books. Tales of sex, love but most importantly friendship. I just love how all the characters interlink with one another, so I really would suggest if you haven’t read the books, do read them in order.
Voyeur
Lovers
Savior
Another
Liar
Surrender (novella)
And now Teacher
Daniel is a character that has always been in the background, but he’s an important one. So I’m delighted that he finally had his story told. I mean it is his elusive sex club Voyeur which this series centres on, so in a way the best has been saved till last. I’ve wanted to get inside Daniels head for a while now and this book doesn’t let us down.
I loved how his and Hanna’s relationship developed. Both have pasts that they are struggling to overcome deep down; so although Daniel is “teaching” Hanna, he too is learning how to deal with his demons that have plagued him for many years.
“But I told you, I don’t do love. I can’t, and I’m not someone to lean on. I wanted to help, but I’m not the man who can make it all better.”
“I’m not asking you to make it better, Daniel. I’m asking you to be honest.”
A wonderful story to conclude this series. Maybe in the future Fiona may do another little Novella with a catch up on all the characters; that would be fun to see how they’re all doing!
Teacher is a decadent and deeply emotional standalone story in Fiona Cole’s Voyeur world. Raw and riveting, it’s the kind of story I can get sucked into from page one. Deliciously dirty in a way only Ms. Cole can write, Hanna and Daniel’s story kept me reading long into the night.
I love age-gap romance, plain and simple. Give me a mature man any day, any way. What makes this book stand apart from so many others is Hanna’s age and her brutal past. She’s not a naive teen, she’s a young woman who’s been dealt a rough hand in life. And she’s ready to start living. Daniel, one of the owners of provocative club Voyeur, is a family friend and a man who steers clear of serious relationships. As a friend, he offers to help Hanna…to teach her how to flirt, how to seduce, how to regain her confidence. And teach her he does….
Teacher is one of a handful of books that I know I’ll reread again and again. I feel that way about all the Voyeur series, but this just might be my favorite.
A brilliant, steamy and, romantic end to a series I didn’t want to quit. Teacher was everything I could have wanted and more.
This is book 6 and the final book of the Voyeur series. For me, it was the “angstiest” of them all and it kept me totally consumed and satisfied from beginning to end!!
The story flowed nicely and the characters were well developed.
This steamy and passionate story was more than a friends to lovers story. It was a story of overcoming obstacles and healing. How it all evolved and developed was well worth discovering!
4.5 stars!
Another amazing story from Fiona Cole, closing the book on the incredible Voyeur series! Daniel and Hanna’s book was the perfect way to end our journey with all of these amazing couples. It’s so bittersweet to say goodbye to all of them, but wow, I loved getting to know them!
Hanna’s past is rife with trauma, heartache, and pain, but the amount of strength she shows daily is inspiring. She claws her way through emotional memories and wants to take control back of every aspect in her life. While undertaking this journey, she and Daniel decide to embark on it together. Daniel, a man not without his own demons, is such a wonderful, generous, thoughtful counterpart for Hanna and it was sweet to see their bond grow more and more.
Teacher is an incredible tale of being able to face our demons, no matter how that looks, and doing so in our time. The amazing souls these two people have have been made stronger because of the other and their love is so pure for one another.
I’ll miss each of the couples in this series, but I know Voyeur is only a click away.
Teacher was the sexy, heartfelt and captivating conclusion to the amazing Voyeur series. After the brief glimpses of both Hanna and Daniel through previous books I was beyond curious as to what their story would come to be and I must admit theirs was a story worth waiting for.
Hanna was vulnerable yet had an inner strength deeper than even she realized. Daniel had me swooning from beginning to end with his inherent kindness and need to help Hanna any way he could. I hope we’re all so lucky to have a partner like him in our corner. Daniel’s “lessons” and how he encouraged Hanna to embrace her desires was an incredible reminder that our past doesn’t dictate our future. I loved the chemistry between them and how they had me cracking up laughing one minute, tearing up the next and then swooning later.
Throughout this series I have truly enjoyed that these phenomenal characters are ones that are all relatable. Hanna’s story was one that though hard to think about needed to be shared because it is an issue individuals have dealt with on a daily basis. Teacher was the perfect way to end this series although it’s also a bit bittersweet to say goodbye to the amazing characters and the Voyeur world.
Goodness gracious ice cream sundae with a cherry on top, if that’s your thing of course, but Teacher by Fiona Cole had me needing a tall, cool glass of water, and a tissue or two!
I adored this story. That’s the short and simple answer. The longer answer is that I am in awe and in love with the manner in which Fiona has written, addressed, showcased, and honoured difficult topics and moments that everyone can experience, and woven together a story that highlights the power and importance of consent in all its forms, as well as the power in owning your past experiences and taking control in any aspect of life where you might feel out of sorts.
Hanna is an incredible woman with a terrible experience in her past, just looking for a way to live, to breathe, to feel free. Daniel lives life in a carefree manner, all the while shackled to a memory from his past. Their journey together is emotional, full of trust, turmoil, shmekshay and steamy and dirty moments, and raw honesty which had me on the edge of my seat. As the best books do, this story had me wanting to reach into the pages to hug, to shake, to smack upside the head, to comfort, to reread sections that had my Kindle on fire, and so much more!
If you’re looking for another amazing experience with characters you love at Voyeur and beyond, look no further than Teacher! Hopefully, you’ll learn a thing or two about things you like and want and need, and then remember, it’s okay to do something about it for yourself!
I absolutely loved this book! It was so full emotion. I laughed and cried and swooned and blushed. There were times my breath caught in my throat as I read because the emotions felt so real. The groveling in the end had me bawling and then the Epilogue had me cracking up. I loved the way Daniel and Hanna’s friendship developed and the love that grew subtly felt so raw and natural. Both of them had terrible things in their past that took a lot of healing and Fiona does an excellent job of diving into those heavy topics but also showing the beauty that can come from the ashes. They were able to overcome their pasts and in the end, have a future together. It was so beautifully done. This story is definitely full of steam (after all, Hanna has asked Daniel to teach her how to accept intimacy) and Fiona writes it so well! It got super hot at times! This is my favorite book in the series and that is saying a lot because I really loved Another. I’m so sad to see this series end – I would love to read more about this group of characters.
The Voyeur series is one of my absolute favorites…….and I’m not ready to say goodbye. But, if this our last visit to this world, Daniel and Hanna’s story ended it on such a high note. Teacher was absolutely amazing!!!
The way Daniel and Hanna’s relationship developed was so beautiful. It was slow, unrushed, natural…..everything about them together was incredible and I just savored every moment of them together. They were absolutely perfect for one another, helping each other work through the memories of the past that continued to haunt them.
I also loved seeing more of the friendship between Daniel and Kent. They have one of the best bromances I’ve seen in quite a while…..and when Daniel was denying his feelings for Hanna, Kent saw right through him. Add in all of the other appearances from our favorite characters in the series – Ian, Carina, Jackson, Erik, Alex, Olivia – I just loved being able to see them again one last time.
Such a great story from start to finish, and I highly recommend this one. Really, the whole series. You won’t be disappointed!!
The Voyeur series is one of my FAVORITE series. Each and every book was so captivating and steamy, and Teacher was NO exception. I absolutely LOVED getting Daniels story after reading his character in every book, it was a great ending to the series. It was so raw and emotional and steamy. Every hard hitting point Fiona Cole has made in the voyeur series was represented in Teacher. Daniel was the best teacher for Hanna, getting her through the gritty, emotional track her brain was in. Not only did he did help her through one of the hardest things a woman could EVER go through, she helped him love again. Daniel had gone through one of the most emotional endings to a relationship ever and he was simply unable to move past it. He not only found love again, but was able to move on from the emotional trauma and find acceptance. Fiona had me hook, line, and sinker with Daniel and Hanna, just like she has with every single book she has ever written. In case it wasn’t clear already, (or if you haven’t seen my must reads list), Teacher is most definitely on TalkNerdy2me’s Must Reads.
5 MY HEARTS STARS!! My heart was filled and completely full with beautiful words, soft touches and love. Hanna and Daniel’s story was beautifully written by this amazing author with so many feels….my heart felt every emotion. This is by far my favorite book in this series. I highly recommend this book and series.
*TW at the end*
My second Fiona Cole book. My first in this series though and just so happens to be the last book in this series I think Mrs. Cole gave enough of the MCs backstories that this book wasn’t confusing. You can bet that I will be reading all of Fiona Cole’s backlist with priority for this series, though!!
So, we’ve got dual POV in this book from both Hanna and Daniel. Hanna has had some traumatic past events that make her nervous around men. Because of that, she doesn’t sleep around or even date, like, ever. Hanna ask’s Daniel to teach her how to flirt, date and enjoy sex. Both, Hanna and Daniel enter into an agreement to get Hanna to accept and like sex.
“The past is funny like that. It sneaks up on you when you least expect it. No matter how much work you did to accept and understand and move past it, it creeps back in like you hadn’t spent years of therapy working to be okay.”
Then, there’s Daniel. Daniel also had a traumatic past relationship that ended in the worst possible way. He’s closed himself off from loving relationships for years, decades, even. He’s felt like he’s not good enough to find and have love.
“Hanna, I don’t do love, so we don’t have to worry about either of us falling into that trap. I like you. I like your friendship and talking to you. So, that’s all this is—a friend helping a friend.”
Hanna has my whole entire freaking heart! She blew me away the whole time. Her strength, courage and independence was admirable even in spite of what happened in her past.
“Nervous because she looked at me like I was the answer to all her fears—to her future. Nervous because I liked it.”
My heart broke for Daniel while he was trying to come to terms with the way he was feeling about Hanna. He had felt like he wasn’t good enough to have love for so long He’s so sweet, caring and patient with Hanna. He will have you swooning the whole book!
“Daniel never treated me like broken glass barely glued together. He treated me like a normal human being—a strong one.”
This is the slowest of slow burns! I was literally questioning myself up until the very end like “will they actually be together??” Also, this book had me feeling all. of. the. feels!! If you’re looking for an emotional rollercoaster of a book then definitely pick this one up! I’d just like to add that, Fiona NEVER fucking disappoints when it comes to the sex scenes.
TW: suicide, rape, kidnapping, held captive
If friends-to-lovers, age-gap romances, jam-packed with tension and feels is your jam, then you NEED Daniel and Hanna’s story in your life!
Damn this book was something special. It touched on tough issues in the most tender ways. It is such an emotionally heavy book, but also so so sexy.
I love how Daniel and Hanna fell in love. He was so damn tender with her. Their friends-to-lovers story had me swooning so hard with how he treated her. You ever read a character that makes you swoon with how sweet and tender he is, then bite your lip with how sexy he is? Daniel was perfection.
Hanna’s story was one of my most anticipated of 2020. I knew this author would deliver something sexy, emotional, and full of THE FEELS! I loved how Hanna’s strength emerged, slowly building her into a brave, charismatic, strong-as-steel heroine.
I’ll forever cherish this heartfelt story of two lost souls, searching for their forever love.
This book is EVERYTHING!!!!! …..and I just love it so freaking much!!!!
I devoured this book in one sitting I couldn’t put it down. Fiona Cole just has a way with words that drawn you to the story like a moth to a flame.
This book has so much emotions in it . It’ll make you laugh and cry and sometimes leave you frustrated. It talks about some very traumatic events that Hanna and Daniel went through in life but I think the author delivers these topics very well.
I absolutely love Hanna and her strength. She just wants to move on and take control of her body and sensuality and bury her fears. Daniels (owner of Voyeur) is there to help her and teach her that is the ok to feel ….and boy did she feel.
Everything starts with a friendly agreement but it progresses into so much more. The sexy learning lessons becomes so much more of what Hanna and Daniel wanted and their chemistry is hard to fight. Will fear and insecurities torn this relationship apart?
It’s definitely a must read and I love the Voyeur series so much it’s sad this is the last book on it but honestly what an incredible ending it was.
I love this series!!! Of course Fiona leaves the best for last. Good ole Daniel!
We come to love Daniel through this series and the way he cares for his family and friends. The behind the scenes guy, until now!
Hanna is trying to get her life back together, the last couple of years have been horrific, to say the least. Little by little she’s getting there until she realizes she wants more in her life she’s starting to crave what everyone around her has.. A special someone, who will see her for who she is and not broken because of her past. She is a brave soul and her past has scarred her but will Daniel be able to give her what she needs?
Daniel convinces himself he can help Hanna get over her fears and explore boundaries she would never do alone. In the midst of exploration, lines may have blurred, and when you least expect it the 4 letter word changes everything!
Two people with unique similarities find in each other what is needed the most LOVE.
Teacher is the 6th and final book in the Voyeur series and this friends to lovers standalone romance had me hooked from beginning to end. Hanna and Daniel’s story was emotional, steamy, and at times heart-breaking and I was consumed with these characters and did not want the story to end.
Hanna and Daniel were two complex characters each with their own issues and fears, however these two were perfect together.
I fell in love with Daniel from the start. His care and patience with Hanna endeared me to him and I loved how he tenderly pushed her out of her comfort zone. Hanna as a survivor, was strong and courageous and I loved seeing her slowly come out of her shell and get her power back.
The steamy scenes between them was intense and hott, passionate yet intimate. The author handled the dark, tough subjects masterfully giving us a story filled with hope and one that gave me all the feels throughout.
Teacher was gripping, engrossing, sinful and beautifully written. This age-gap romance was my favorite book in this series and without a doubt a 5 star read. Definitely one of my top read for this year, I loved it and would highly recommend it to all romance lovers.
“My body craved her, and I wasn’t ready for her to leave.”
Daniel and Hanna are the portrait of how powerful love can be. How it can overcome anything with the right person. The possibilities are endless if you allow yourself to open up to another persons love.
Teacher was a powerful love story that moved me. I didn’t realize how touching their story was going to be. It really opens your eyes.
Daniel and Hanna has this undeniable attraction to each other. Not just their bodies screamed for each other, but their souls. They were inevitable. Their chemistry was almost tangible it was so vibrant.
Whenever a story takes my breath away.. like physically takes my breath away while I’m reading.. I know that this book was an incredible read. Teacher made me laugh, swoon, and cry.
Thank you, Fiona.. Not for only giving us Daniel and Hanna, but for this whole incredibly series. Each book has it’s own set of characters obviously but the friendship that they all have with one another was amazing. Being able to see past characters that we all loved again, was like a breath of fresh air. This series was incredible and I’ll never forget it.
“I never want you without me.”
With Teacher being the last (gasp!) book in the Voyeur series, I have to applaud Fiona Cole one more time for giving her all and combining glorious titillation with the most touching of love stories. I’ve become addicted to each and every prior book, wanting Daniel’s story from the start, since he is one of the owners of this premier sex club and has been a bit of a man of mystery. But his attraction to his partner’s sister, Hanna, has never been much of a secret and I was over the moon with the way their relationship comes to pass.
I think the use of both Hanna’s horrific past and Daniel’s guilt wrt a former lover was the perfect vehicle to put these two hesitant souls together. With Daniel as the kind, understanding and patient guide, giving Hanna back her sexual freedom could be both emotionally painful as much as it was wildly sexy. But the underlying pain both kept deep inside was just waiting for an outlet and it truly was the best surprise for Daniel and Hanna to find that avenue with each other.
Sure this sexual reawakening and healing for Hanna was at the crux of this story but Daniel’s hesitance to rid himself once and for all of the sin he felt he couldn’t absolve added a gut-wrenching element I didn’t expect. I was truly sad for him and the weight he has carried for so long. But thankfully with the help of his business partner in Kent and the love he has denied for the strong-willed survivor that is Hanna, perhaps there is a light at the end of a very dark tunnel for this wonderful man.
The sexual trysts are once again top notch. You can’t help but squirm happily as the scenes are played out both behind the glass in Voyeur and in the rooms, themselves, as Hanna finds her own rhythm with Daniel as her escort. These encounters offer intense gratification as well as strong validation that Hanna can find her way back. And Cole simply writes them beautifully once more.
With a glimpse into the lives of all the couples we’ve had the good fortune to meet in this series, I am beyond sad it is over. But they each play a part in Teacher, offering good-natured ribbing, plenty of advice and the shoulder to cry on when needed. This is a tight-knit crew who have each other’s backs and only want the best for each other both in and out of the bedroom. I will miss them for sure but know many rereads will be in my future.
When looking for the kind of book that will keep you engaged with a vibrant story-line that features an unexpected kind of love story combined with the very best in naughty, then grab this series. You won’t be disappointed.
Hanna and Daniel find their happy with one another after a long road of frustration, hearts flayed open wide, a ton of pain but in the end it’s the undeniable love that ultimately sees them through. Teacher is a great way to end this series and I happily give it a huge 5 stars!
Oh my god Fiona Cole will RUIN YOU with Teacher.
I’m going to miss this gang so much (if this is the last one for the Voyeur universe like I believe). I’ve waited for Daniel and Hanna’s book since day 1 of this series and knew it would be a special one. Fiona Cole definitely did not disappoint and easily surpasses all heart-wrenching expectations!! With characters like Hanna and Daniel, it’s so so so so so hard to turn this into a bad story. They both deserve credit in their own respective ways and they truly made this book so beautiful. And flaming hot.
This ending has just got me too emotional. Daniel is such a great guy (my favorite). Hanna’s transformation is worth it all. Possibly my favorite read of 2020.
