He’s going to make me break my number one rule. And possibly lose my job.How dare he?It’s pretty simple, though. Don’t date students.Which is normally easy to stick to. Who wants to date an eighteen-year-old boy?Not me. I much prefer an older man with rough hands that knows what he’s doing.Enter Mr. Evans.A single father billionaire with more time on his plate than he knows what to do with. And the … with more time on his plate than he knows what to do with.
And the man is brilliant and wickedly delicious.
Much to my surprise, he’s quickly becoming my star pupil, which means he gets more of my time than necessary.
But I can’t help myself.
He’s exactly what I need in my life, in my bed, kissing me at the stroke of midnight…
And the best is even though he’s older than me, he’s more than willing to let me teach him a few new tricks.
Let’s just hope we don’t get caught.

Imaginative release by none other than Ms. Ali Parker and let me assure you, that it is incredibly crafted.
Have you ever been hot for teacher? Leila might be the Professor but Christopher has more to show her than she ever could of expected. This gorgeous Widower as well as single Father, is going to rock her World, she just doesn’t know it yet. Or does she? Hmmm, DELICIOUS book right here. There are rules in place for these kind of relationships, however, sometimes you are drawn to the forbidden.
Congratulations to Ms. Parker for her amazingly wonderful release, which kept me glued to my Kindle throughout. This is one book that keeps you turning the pages, long into the night.

Amazing book of getting over loss and trying to find your way. The story of Christopher as a widower and his son Olin will give you the feels.
Leila Bell is a no nonsense Professor but when she meets Christopher in her class it seems as all bets may be off.

TEACH ME NEW TRICKS By Ali Parker
This was another very satisfying read from the talented Ali Parker. I always know I can depend on her to bring a story that I will love and get sucked into. She is definitely one of my one click favorites. I absolutely enjoyed Christopher & Leila’s story. Leila is his professor when he enrolls in college to take some classes to try and get some routine in his life after moving to Texas from Minnesota with his teenage son after a devastating loss. They are after a fresh start. This story has everything you could want lots of angst, banter, intrigue, smokin’ hot chemistry, drama, some mystery, and great characters. This is a 5 star story. Congrats Ali on another winner!
Christopher and Leila’s story is captivating. Christopher and his teenage son have moved to Texas to start over after tragically losing his wife. He decides to take a course at the local college and surprised when Leila, his professor, stirs feelings in him he thought long gone. Leila struggles with her attraction to Christopher because, even though he’s older, he’s still her student. These two take the reader on their journey of attraction, steamy encounters, and ultimately love. Great story! I received an advanced readers copy of this book and am gladly leaving this review.
Falling for his professor.
He’s a single father and moves so that he and his son can try to start over from their grief. He takes a course from the college and when he sees his professor he’s surprised by the feeling that he feels. He thought they were dead but he feels all kinds of emotions looking at her. His professor has always been professional but when her new student looks at her she realizes that this could be trouble. When they talk and the attention goes both ways will they see if a relationship is possible? I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book.

I received a free copy of the steamy novel Teach Me New Tricks: a Single Father Billionaire Romance book 2 by Ali Parker and this review was given freely.
A well balanced second chance at love romance containing interesting characters and the struggle of a family with survivor grief, early retirement, and what comes after death. Trying to recover from the tragic death of his wife and hoping to reconnect with his son , billionaire real estate businessman Christopher Evans retires early and moves with sixteen year old Olin from Minneapolis, Minnesota to Conroe, Texas to give them a new start. Little did he know the University of Huston’s Greek Mythology class he used to fill the emptiness would lead to hope, healing, scandal, and love starting with an instant attraction to his professor, Leila Bell.
Teach Me New Tricks Ali Parker’s new book a 5 take that features a Widower, a Teenager, and a lovely Professor. They deal with teenage problems, dastardly deeds, recovering from grief, and a new relationship. It’s a great book!!!!

His son is struggling to fit in and their relationship is strained. Leila breaks through both of their tough exteriors, showing them love can conquer all. This is a fantastic read! Although I received an advanced reader copy free, I downloaded the book and read it again! I loved it that much and you will too!!! I have voluntarily chosen to leave an honest review.
2. Book 2: Teach Me New Tricks 5 stars

What a phenomenally heartwarming story of second chances, trust, and finding the courage to make sacrifices for those you love. Christopher and his son move to a small Texas town to escape the painful memories of his late wife. Leila is a mythology professor for the University of Houston where she meets Christopher a young retiree with too much time on his hands. Teach Me New Tricks is everything readers familiar with Ali Parker’s books would expect; grief from a painful past, new beginnings, passion, romance, second chances, twists, and love. I absolutely loved Christopher and Leila’s story so much I couldn’t put it down. Readers will fall in love with this new book and the wonderful characters.
“I voluntarily reviewed an ARC copy of this novel.”
I enjoyed this story! It’s interesting and well developed. There is angst, teenager drama and twist and turns that keep you hooked. I love the characters and the plot is intriguing.
Another great story from Ali Parker, this time we get a student/teacher situation, and the chemistry between Leila and Christopher is pretty damn hot, even though there’s plenty at stake for Leila professionally if she and Christopher are outed as being interested in each other and not in the student/teacher scenario.
This has a great storyline and characters that kept me turning the pages. Leila is a Greek Mythology professor and has worked hard. Christoper is a single dad raising his teenage son. Leila and Christoper have strong chemistry. This has loss, drama, and so much more. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
This was a long, meaty novel; certainly long in length but alas, never boring. The writing was sharp, clear and original; thought provoking. I experienced myriad emotions wending my way through this novel; too many to list. However, the over-arching feeling experienced was truly identifying with the characters’ expressed emotions, especially those of the main male character. I cried quite a few times during this novel but as well, I laughed, got angry and “watched” a love affair unfold. The characterizations were superb. The best line for me in the novel came from the main female character, “The good stuff needs GPS”. I laughed out loud at this line.
A novel most definitely people should take the time to read. My hope with this review is that it spurs someone else to experience this excellent piece of work. Thank you once again Ms Parker for this edifying, emotional and romantic read.

This was a good read. Christopher and his son have moved. They are trying to start over since the death of the wife/mother. Christopher decides to take a class and falls for the teacher Leila. This becomes a problem since teacher student relationships are forbidden. They then have to decide if it’s worth it. The good news is that like in all Ali’s books they get their happy ending.
Excellent storyline and storytelling. A surprisingly shocking ending. You’ll love it.
What a wonderful book. Christopher lost his wife a year ago but it appears the stars have aligned again and have sent Leila, his professor in a Greek mythology class, to him. Leila brings him out of his guilt and despair and gives him a reason to live and love again. There is love at the end of his broken hearted tunnel. I absolutely loved the characters and the part each one of them plays in this book. You’ll know what I mean when you read it. Fantastic.
This was really sweet and enjoyable story that will warm up your heart and give you all the feels. Both Christopher and Leila are instantly likable and relatable characters. Their attraction was immediate with great chemistry between them. I liked that they were both more mature, although there were times when they were both as wishy-washy as teenagers. The storyline deals with loss and finding love again when you least expect it. This book is a long one but easy to read and I really enjoyed it. It’s definitely worth the read.
