** 2018 Edition – re-edited, re-released. No new content has been added to the 2015 edition **Brent is a jock, Logan a geek; these men are a world apart. But if opposites attract, maybe it’s the differences between them that make it worth the fight.Brent Kelly is a laid-back electrician whose only concerns are drinks with friends and which man to bed next. In need of a new accountant to sort out … accountant to sort out his nightmarish shoebox of tax receipts, he’s referred to Logan Willis.
He doesn’t expect to be intrigued by the science fiction-loving, geeky guy with dark-rimmed glasses and a TARDIS-blue shirt. So his fascination with the soft-spoken Englishman surprises him, and their mutual attraction is completely unexpected. He most certainly never expects to fall in love.
One a jock and the other a geek, both men know the differences between them are vast and could cause problems. But in this opposites-attract erotic drama, maybe it’s the differences between them that make staying together worth the fight.

This is an opposites attract love story that will warm the cockles of your heart. It only has two tiny angsty parts that only last a few pages but all is well and except for the jerk antagonist everyone is as happy as you could be!!
Time And Relative Dimension In Space (an audio review)
Okay, so I’ve never been a huge Dr. Who fan. But I did see a number of episodes with David Tenant (apparently the 10th doctor) and I’ve seen a good portion of Torchwood (hello Captain Jack!), so I had some concept of the Doctor. And, of course, there’s a rabid fan base because you don’t go through that many incarnations without the love of loyal supporters.
But I digress. Brent is a jock. He was in high school, and has gone into the trades as an electrician who works with his hands and his body all day. Taxes? Paperwork? Not his thing. Logan is a very young CPA who works with numbers all day in an office and wears a Tardis-Blue shirt. This is verry much an opposites attract story. But attract they do. One man has had unflinching and unwavering support from his family while the other faced horrible consequences for being gay, and has his ‘found’ family in a group of tight friends.
How do they bridge the divide? Well, Brent heads to the store and picks up some copies of the television series. He makes the first move. And although Logan is hesitant, he realizes Brent is making the effort, so he tries right back. So the Jock and the Geek find common ground. And discover they are definitely sexually compatible. But it’s not all hearts and flowers because each man has insecurities. The book has a dark moment, but it’s not too dark. The book has a happy ending, which is what I expect from an N.R. Walker romance.
Then there are the men themselves. One has a sexy British accent while the other is good ole’ Texan. Nick J. Russo does a great job narrating the book and I enjoyed his performance. So, yeah, definitely worth the listen. A nice short one-sitting listen that you’ll be glad you spent the time on.
This review is for the audiobook.
Good story. Good narration.
A very sweet story about how opposites can work well together.
I usually dislike stories built around the nerd vs jock stereotype. I am a science/comic nerd and a jock! This story was sweet though, and I just couldn’t stay mad at the reinforcement of stereotypes. Sometimes stereotypes help us find our place in the world, but they don’t have to hold us in place.
I love a good geek who enraptures a non-geek and draws him into his world. NR always brings the sweet and real to a story and Brent and Logan are as real as two guys get. This is a quicker read than most of her stories and I read it within a few hours. It’s honestly just a great story with plenty of fun sweetness.
A cute read!
One a jock and the other a geek, both men know the differences between them are vast and could cause problems…
But maybe it’s the differences between them that make staying together worth the fight…
Such a cute story. From the moment these got together, it was perfect though the only disappointing thing? It was way to short!
Such an adorable couple and story.
Full of attraction, opposites, steamy, funny and romance.
4.5*
Ugh, so freaking adorable. Now I want to break down and watch Dr. Who. Is there anything Ms. Walker has written that I won’t love?!?
