When the Prophecy is revealed, can I do what it takes? Not that long ago I knew nothing of this world, I was just a tattoo artist for fucks sake. One that was happy to be left to my own vices with my best friend to keep me company. Fate had a funny way of sinking its teeth into things though didnt it?I learned that the hard way when /I grew a pair of my own, fangs that is.We had battled The … The Darkness, but not without a great cost to the clan, and now we needed to find a way to defeat it one and for all. I wasnt sure I was willing to risk those I loved again though.
I needed to learn my powers and fast if I were to protect the amulet and my clan from the darkness for good.
The past and future collide. Damien, Adrien, Aldrich and Dmitry. Will they be able to put aside their differences so we can work together and fulfill the prophecy that has been centuries in the making?
When the time comes, will I be strong enough to be the Queen I need to be, the Queen that the Prophecy demand I be?

Amazing, epic, loved it so much! What an amazing continuation of the story! I want to say even more than the first one, but that would be a lie because the first one made me fall in love with the author and it will always be a special book for me. Note here, you should read this after Tattoos and Cupcakes.
The best part is that reading this book feels like coming to a full circle for me, as the book one was the first thing I’ve read from this author and the book two, this one, is the last thing I’ve read so far, but the difference is that in between I have read every single thing the author has published, so another two book series and six short stories. So the first book made me fall in love with the author, everything else made my love grow and solidify, but this book was like the final nail in the coffin, pun intended. I cannot even imagine this author being capable of writing anything less than an amazing story, whatever she writes.
But enough of the fangriling, let me tell you how amazing the story was. Keep in mind, this is a series and if you thought that because of lack of a cliffhanger, the author would have mercy this time as well, think again. She ends on an epic cliffhanger that literally made me scream in shock! Well done, you sneaky vixen! I am absolutely dying to see what happens next, and there are no hints, no way to tell where the story is going.
Unlike the first story, where the author spent a lot of time building the world, introducing and building the characters, and developing their relationships, here the focus shifts back to Lena, The Well, and the new character coming forth. And oh my, what a character he is, I fell in love with Dmitry immediately. There is another secret character that comes in briefly and that was a secret surprise. Loved that twist so much. There is an interesting witch appearing in the story, and The Well characters are acting dodgy. Love that as well.
There were so many different lines of plot here, it feels like once all of the introductions and developments were properly done and out of the way, the author had a free reign to mess with us big time, and in the best way. With each question answered, the author brings several more puzzles to be solved. Coupled with the fast pace of the story, this was one of the fastest books I have ever read. Devoured it in one breath and loved every page of it.
I have no idea where the story is going and what might happen next, and I am in a state of bliss, because why would I want to read the next book if I knew what happens, right? So, I’ll be patiently waiting (read: dying with anticipation) for the next book, and in the mean time I will drown in whatever the author writes next, cause she is superamazingfabulous and I love her work immensely.
I loved it. The stories continues to get better and better. Lena and her inner circle need to figure out how to break apart the amulet, but In order to do that they are going to half to work with someone they don’t like at all. The ending had me going nooooo. That’s ok I can wait (drumming my fingers on the arm of the chair lol) for the next book. Seriously this is an amazing series so far and I’m looking foward to the next installment.
Another great hit from Everly!! Loved this book, it starts off right where book 1 stopped, the chemistry between the character’s is amazing and I couldn’t put it down!! Can’t wait to see what is coming I truly recomend this book to everyone!!
Book 2 in this series picks up with Selena/Lena (FMC) reopening her Tattoo shop after it was destroyed in book 1. Only for her first client to completely throw her off balance and he brings a hell of lot of complications. One that can upset not only her but for her guys-Damien, Adrien and Aldrich too. This series is just a sheer joy to read. Fantastic characters, funny, witty, fast-paced and keeps you on your toes from the beginning to the end. Fan-flaming-tastic book!!
Dmitry….say no more!
Tattoos and Prophecies by Everly Taylor is Book 2 in The Amulet of Queens and once again she delivers another great read. This book continues on nicely from Book 1. You get to catch up with Adrien, Aldrich, Damien and Selena, they are still discovering the power of the amulet and trying to stop Sylred. But the stand out for me is Dmitry. It’s a great spicy read with a cliffhanger and I’ll be eagerly awaiting book 3 ….. and more Dmitry.
