Removing a demonic threat? She might be able to handle that. Keeping her hands off her four exquisite teammates? Not so much.Tate Spencer’s biggest problem isn’t that she’s dead. In fact, at the moment, getting ripped from her comatose body and thrust into an in-between afterworld is the least of her many worries. The biggest being the smoking hot Angel of Death guarding her every move as she sets … her every move as she sets out to rid the Sexy Sins Afterlife Retreat of an incubus invasion.
Right, she’ll get right on that. Or not.
Maybe she’ll get on one of her other three hunky bodyguards instead because they seem to think death definitely becomes her. . .
But before things can heat up, she discovers another challenge she’s not sure she’s ready for. Becoming the mate of all four of her gorgeous supernaturals. Yeah, she may be forty-five and fiesty, but that’s gonna be a lot to handle. And with the clock ticking on her mission, she must hurry to stop the salacious demon preying on unsuspecting women before it’s too late. Which makes juggling her seductive suitors harder than ever.
Can Tate get her long-lived lovers in line and survive a month of uncontrollable desire? Or will she screw things up in more ways than one?

Tate’s Angel is the sizzling first book in the Sexy Sins Afterlife Retreat paranormal romance series. If you like snarky heroines, crackling chemistry, and a smoldering cast of hot-blooded men, then you’ll adore Lilith Darville’s irresistible romp.

Much anticipated series and just what I was waiting for. This story has all the elements I crave with sexy paranormals, gods and goddesses, sensual erotic heat all wrapped up in a well written storyline from start to finish.
Lying in a coma in hospital Tate Anya Spencer has been chosen by the Gods to be Sexy Sins Academy’s headmistress. The Goddess Hera literally dropped Tate into Bardo (the in between) to clean up an incubus infestation, the first days can be hard on the the body but “O” so sexy when you meet your bodyguards aka the school examiners whom all believe you are their fated.
The gods are keeping secrets from everyone not to mention Hades is hot for your tail and only a month to get the school back in order with four sinfully distracting men, what’s a lady to do but take charge.
This is the first time reading a book from author Lilith Darville and it did not disappoint as I’m left with an excellent and exciting ending. Needless to say I’m ready for the next book…please!!!
An interesting start to a new series. We meet Tate as she is in a coma physically but wakes up at the Sexy Sins Academy. She was chosen to be the new headmistress if she accepts the job. This comes with four sexy bodyguards that are supposed to help her adapt but things are never that simple. Great writing that creates a world you will find fun yet still full of tension and action. Cliff hanger ending that leaves you wanting more. I really liked it so I give it 4/5 stars.
An excellent story with a unique premise. The intersection of Greek mythology with a reverse harem romance is just delicious. The chemistry between Tate and her men is smoking, and I just can’t wait to read the next book in the series (Tate’s Task).
Great read with a great plot and characters. I was engrossed from start to finish. A steamy paranormal, academy romance full of gods, goddesses, and paranormals. This book has drama, suspense, intrigue. Tate Spencer is the new temporary Headmistress of the Sexy Sins Academy. She has only one month to fix the academy and find her destined mate. She has four hot bodyguards and they all claim to be her mate. Read to find out who her mate/s are! My only complaint….there is a cliffhanger but I really enjoyed this read book and can’t wait to read the next book. I recieved an Advanced Reader Copy of this book.
A wonderful story with a great storyline and charaters. A hot paranormal and academy romance full of gods and goddesses, paranormals, drama and eroctic. Tate Anya Spencer is the new temporary Headmistress of the Sexy Sins Academy. She has one month to fix the academy and find her destined mate in the underworld. She has four hot bodyguards that claim she is their mate. Will she be able to find her mate in the Underworld? Can she resist her bodyguards? I really enjoyed this read from start to end and can not wait to read the next book.
I recieved an ARC and leaving my honest and voluntary review.
Received an ARC for my honest opinion. Tate’s Tale is the first book in the series of 4. We meet the Greek Gods/Godesses who have decided that Tate Anya Spencer will be the new temporary Headmistress of the Sexy Sins Academy. She has one month to clean up and get rid of the incubus which have infested the Academy. Her four bodyguards are men she has known before but because of a cloaking spell, all five of them do not recognize each other. An interesting concept which Lilith Darville handles very well, teasing the reader as well as the characters who keep getting tantalizing images of each other for a split second.
Winning books is always fun. Winning books with plots sounding awesome is even better. I was therefore really happy when I heard that I won an e-copy of this book. Reverse Harem and Greek Mythology, a few things I really enjoy. So, this morning I was really excited to start reading. But I’m afraid that didn’t last too long.
I’m pretty sure there are people who like this book and appreciate it, but I’m afraid I’m not one of those. Although I totally enjoy well written sex-scenes in books, I need a story, a plot and a context. I want the sex to be part of the story, part of the plot. But in this case it felt like it was the entire story and the entire plot.
There were a few glimpses here and there from the previous lives the characters led on earth, but even those glimpses and conversations were mostly focussed on sexual experiences. And I get that the series title of this book is the sexy sins academy, but still. Almost every conversation, almost every little thought, almost every little action had something to do with sex. And although there’s nothing wrong with that, that wasn’t why I wanted to read this book.
I was actually interested in the incubi plot, in the Hades plot, in what was going on at the academy and on how it’s gonna be fixed, even distracted. But up until now we haven’t seen or met an incubus (well, not that we know of), we haven’t seen the school (apart from one hallway or so) and we’ve seen one small scene with Hades that was all about…sex.
Even though I also won an e-copy of the second book I’m not entirely sure if I should claim it. Maybe I should ask the author to gift it to someone who enjoyed the first book far more than I did.

I just couldn’t get into this book at all. I enjoyed the characters and the general story to the book sounded interesting, but the not being able to know each other and musical notes when speaking was frustrating. Then explaining the academy just totally confused me.
If you like a book with constant sex this could be the one for you, the main character is attracted to all the males and they all want to sleep with her right from the beginning.
The writing was good but I just couldn’t get my head into this story at all.
