Winter is coming—and unfortunately it’s bringing Christmas with it. I loathe the holiday. I hate holiday parties, fragrant decorations, and hokey movies. If I had my way it would be winter all year round and never Christmas. Nothing burns like the cold—except a hot oven. That’s right; against my better judgment I agreed to let The Great Christmas Bake-Off film in my tower. And St. Nick help me but … agreed to let The Great Christmas Bake-Off film in my tower.
And St. Nick help me but I even agreed to be a judge.
Holly
Christmas is like the perfect sugar cookie—it slowly melts in your mouth, sweetening every taste bud, making you wish it could last forever.
I love Christmas. I love the cheerful music, the fun sweaters, and the holiday lights. Most of all I love Christmas Cookies.
A begrudging bake-off judge, I refuse to let grouchy billionaire Owen Frost hate Christmas. The man is overworked, his employees are uninspired, and his life is seriously lacking in Yuletide cheer. I want to stuff his stocking with sugary goodness to put him in a very festive mood.
So I dressed up as a sexy elf and gave Owen a taste of something extra special. You should have seen his eyes roll back in his head when he bit into the perfect sugar cookie!
I can’t let Owen Frost be a distraction. Things are insane enough without a sexy billionaire.
My baking subscription service is in the death throes.
My Christmas-ruining step sister is trying to sabotage me in the bake-off.
I’m being stalked by elves on the shelf come to life.
Ok that last one is a little weird, but welcome to my disaster of a life.
I need to win The Great Christmas Bake-Off to pay of my debts and launch my baking career. Sleeping with one of the judges is going to ruin my chance for a merry Christmas. Owen with his washboard abs and big Christmas package is a bad idea. It’s best to keep that all wrapped under the tree.
But when he said in that deep, sexy voice, “Can I have another taste of your Christmas cookies?” Well, let’s just say I’m unwrapping one particular Christmas present early!
Tasting Her Christmas Cookies is a standalone holiday romantic comedy. If you love Christmas desserts, like to laugh out loud at holiday innuendoes, and want Santa to put a tall, good-looking guy under your tree, then pick up this full-length, steamy romance novel! There are no cliffhangers but there is a very happy (Christmas!) ever after!

Alina Jacobs’ Writing does just THAT quite often, as it’s Tak’n MY Breath Away More & MORE with Each book in this Series, & thus, TRULY Winning HER Distinction as a 5 STAR Author for Her Catalogue of Work, Especially for “Tasting Her Christmas Cookies.” Kudos, Ms. Jacobs, for your Stellar work!!

Until next time… Happy Reading!
1:Hate IT! Didn’t finish; usually only given if/when some contents truly objectionable (i.e. main characters does something awful & gets away w/it!)
2:Don’t like IT! Rating means I felt the writing was poor, editing was bad, I don’t care for characters, or book had some major flaw.
3: I like IT, BUT! There are minor issues… Rating means there’s editing issues, needs character development, is too unrealistic, or has issues– I do not consider it an overall bad rating.
4:I like IT a lot. Great, Solid Story w/ few if any inconsistencies or errors. This is a HIGH Rating, & I rarely give OUT a Higher Rating.
5: I LOVE IT! It’s Spectacular, & I’ll read IT Over & Over Again. Few books Receive this rating from me. HowEver, those that DO become Classics.
Owen is a billionaire that hates Christmas. Holly wants to win the Bake Off Contest to launch her baking career. I liked the storyline, flow and pace of the story, and the characters were well developed. But I had hoped that there would’ve been a proposal by the end. But I still enjoyed it.
This story cracked me up! I really enjoyed it a lot. There is A LOT of detail about the baking and what’s being baked and how etc. that I just wasn’t into (but someone else may love!) but there are also lots of details about Holly and Owen. It was entertaining and enjoyable even with the over the top reactions from so many of the characters. The characters were interesting and likable for the most part. Sloan and Amber (as well as Diane – Owen’s mom) all need some serious evaluation by a psychiatrist or someone similar. I loved that Owen and Holly really hit it off, even though they hadn’t talked about the future together. They definitely needed to communicate more, especially toward the end of the bake-off when they started to let their own doubts cloud their judgement and actions. Owen and Holly were both fun characters. I loved how Holly always seemed to be able to get Owen to do things that no one else thought possible. Owen was wonderful with all the ways that he tried to make Holly happy but also tried not to hover too much as well. I loved their happy ever after. I recommend reading this book. I also recommend listening to the book. The narrators did a great job. Brian Pallino as Owen was pretty drool-worthy.
The book is well written and funny, I think it is a three stars because is so similar to the previous book of the Frost brothers, I do not recommend reading them closely because this one will get boring (which was my case). Alina is a great writer, but she should have written it different form the other, it seems the same book at some time. Also I did not loved the characters, yes the friends but again: it seems the same book as Eating his Christmas cookies.
Owen and Holly are fun and sexy!!
Frost Brothers #2. This is my first Frost Brothers story so now I definitely have to go back and read the other. Another Alina Jacob’s story that is fun, sexy, full of quirky riotous characters. Just the right amount of crazy for the funny and just the right amount of sexy for the sensual. Owen and Holly are another ‘it’ couple that I hope to see bits of in future stories. Keep these coming! I’m hooked.
This book could easily be a Hallmark or Christmas 24 film (if they have plenty of steam in them)! It had it all, the picturesque setting, the lovely and sexy Christmas story, the passion, drama and romance that Alina Jacobs is amazing at doing in all her books. It also made me wish I could have be in this family and characters stories. All the main characters and secondary are just fantastic and you can’t help but fall in love with them all and want to move into the tower in this book and the town where the Svensson family live. Also felt like you should clear your day, cozy up on the sofa, with a blanket, wine or hot chocolate or whatever you fancy and plenty of snacks (as you won’t be moving) and enjoy this book to the fullest!! Grab your copy today and go take some me time and enjoy this amazing and brilliant Christmas romance story and definitely pick up the other books linked to this one and join the Alina Jacobs readers club. Happy reading!!
Tasting Her Christmas Cookies by Alina Jacobs is the first book in the Frost Brother’s series. In this book, billionaire tech wizard and Christmas Grinch Owen Frost is talked into hosting The Great Christmas Bake-Off in his Manhattan, New York building. He is even talked into judging the competition and letting the contestants live in his penthouse apartment while the competition is being filmed. It is during this competition that he meets Holly, lover of all things Christmas and baker extraordinaire, who has entered the competition to pay off her debts and save her flagging business. This couples love story is definitely a fun filled read. This book is full of funny scenes, uniquely unusual characters, humorous holiday and baking innuendos and lots of steamy scenes. This book made me laugh so hard I cried. If you enjoy a lot of funny with your contemporary romance then you will love and adore this book too. This couple’s love story is one that I guarantee will lift your spirits. Tasting Her Christmas Cookies is a wonderfully 5 ++ star humorous comedic love story.
She loves Christmas and He hates it, what can go wrong, he is the judge of the Christmas Bake-off. In this well written humorous story many things can go wrong and with things out to try and keep her from winning, how can she win. The story focuses on Families that are in some of the Author’s other books, but mainly on a Frost, everyone one in this book is well-written and has character. I love their story and how they dance/play around each other. They will either have a wonderful HEA with cookies galore or there will be even stranger happenings than what we expect. great book cannot wait to read more by this Author

This was a great story. It was well written and fast paced. The chemistry between the characters was sizzling hot. This book has everything you need to keep you turning pages hot sexy men, steamy scenes and some conflict thrown in. I cannot wait for what this author writes next.
An amazing well written contemporary holiday romance filled with humor and sensuality. This engaging storyline is filled with emotion, laughs, fun, drama, clever banter, and love. These opposite attract characters are well developed with crazy good chemistry. I voluntarily read and reviewed this incredible ARC.
Owen hates Christmas and everything that comes with it, the parties, the decorations, the holiday scents and the movies. Yet he’s letting The Great Christmas Bake-Off do filming in his tower and agreed to be a judge.
Holly loves everything about Christmas – everything – and she won’t let Owen, the holiday grinch, take her love of Christmas away. She needs to win the bake off to off debt and start her baking career.
Can Holly spread holiday cheer to a grinch? Will Owen find there is joy in the holiday season? A fun holiday romance read that has humor, great characters and a fantastic story line.

Can she get him to taste her Christmas cookies
Well you can only root for Holly to win the annual Great Christmas Bake-Off contest in this sweet and lovely romance book. The unfortunate thing is that Owen is a judge and this man basically hates Christmas. But maybe the Christmas elves are at work as they sprinkle more than a little fairy dust on this story and these two Christmas opposites might find some common ground in the middle where more things than cookies get whipped up.
Alina Jacobs has once again done a great job on a holiday themed story. The writing is great, the banter is witty, the story-line is interesting and the characters are fun and lively. I really enjoyed reading this story and would recommend it to anyone that loves a great Christmas story that is also very funny and has more than a few crazy family members in the supporting cast of characters.
I received a free ARC of this book in exchange for my honest review. My opinions are all my own.

Owen cannot get enough of Holly and her…sugar cookies. Her cookies are to die for and all he wants is more. Holly and Owen together are nothing short of completely compatible and sensually sweet together. These two will keep you laughing and enjoying all of their silliness and flirting. The perfect couple for the most wonderful time of year!

A Christmas holiday romance that starts off as complicated. Holly is participating in a bake off TV show for a cash prize. She needs this money to pay off her debts and kick start her baking career. However, there is one judge that she can not get out of her head, Owen. He is does not appear to find any Christmas cheer in the holidays. Holly figures she could change that by making this bake off fun and very festive. Taking on the challenge of convincing Owen the goodness that Christmas brings is nothing compared to Holly’s life pop up challenges. This was a very funny and entertaining read. It was fun to see some familiar characters from other holiday themed books by this author. Enjoy!

Tasting Her Christmas Cookies was just a fun read! I read it while riding my exercise bike & it made for an enjoyable time. Quirky characters, funny situations, & full of Christmas cheer.
I will read more by this author!

Fabulous read as usual. Damn I love these books. Each one as good as the one before. One beautiful baker with heaps of debt. One gorgeous Frost billionaire. One Christmas Bakeoff competition. Throw in a huskie puppy called Rudolph and you have a winner. Bring on the next one. Cannot wait.
4.5 stars ***** Another great comedy romance and the crazy families are back for a Christmas bake off. Holly and Owen meet by accident, but the rest of the meetings are not. This story focuses on a Frost brother but have no fear, the Svennsons and Holbrooks are here. These people are fun and entertaining if not a lot insane! It’s a warm story that wraps around you and transports you to the comedy zone for a couple of hours of fun.
I received an advanced reader copy of this book but I also purchased it.
This is Holly and Owen’s story and it’s just as funny as the others by Alina Jacobs. The shenanigans and adventures these get into will have you laughing. Some of the events and scenes are a little confusing and some of the characters need more explanations. But you don’t have to have read the other stories to get the story line here. It’s fun and sexy!

Holly loves everything Christmas, Owen, not so much. Holly has a plan to win the great Christmas bake off to pay off her debts. Owen needs to improve his standing with his employees. Owen is judging the bake off and he and Holly just seem to be meant to run into each other. Of course there are scheming women and crazy family members that try to get in the way. If you have read any of the other Alina Jacobs books then you’ll love this one just as much. You don’t have to read the others to understand this one but you’ll want to when you’re done!
