Patterson is a fast, easy, enjoyable read.
Very disappointed in this book. Writing was disjointed, plot was all over the place. Could have been an ad for CNN and Uber. Expect better from Patterson. Would not recommend.
I love Alex Cross books. Keep them coming, please.
I wish everyone would read this book. It is a reflection of the reality we are living day to day. Events may be a little magnified, but the message is very accurate in regard to the happenings in our country. The message is rattling, but appropriate. Follow the money, and the behavior of ego-centric people in the highest offices of our country. Cheryl
I do not need to readablut a nut killer
I love all of the Alex Cross books.
Kept me tuning the pages until the very end
I think because James Patterson is teaming up with so many authors his books are getting less and less interesting!
I really liked the concept and would have given it 5 stars except for the fact that I found it very hard to keep up with all of the MANY different characters and the jumping from character to character without a smooth transformation between them.
Classic James Patterson
One of the best Alex Cross books
James Patterson is one of my favorite writers. Alex Cross character wonderful.
Each book gets better and better. Always look forward to the next one in the series.
Never disappointed by an Alex Cross book!
Perhaps the best Patterson book ever!
Another solid performance by James Patterson in this book featuring Alex Cross. In this novel, the President has just been buried when multiple assassinations take place. Alex has to chase down whomever is killing the most powerful people in the administration, and determine why.
The book has moments of unnecessary gore and violence, to show you how depraved one of the killers is. I don’t like those extra graphic murders in any novel.
The book touches on bitcoin and cryptocurrency and the effect it may have on money movement.
The book also has a subplot about a woman’s obsession with sexual domination and submission. I wasn’t really sure why this was part of the book, except to show Alex Cross’s professional postion with his patients and his own vulnerabilities. Plus, it leads to a bit of a cliff hanger at the end of the book.
I do like how Alex’s family plays an important role in his life and are always highlighted in the novels.

I love James Patterson, he is my favorite author. I have read all of his books.
Great as always
Boring. Long-winded. Unfinished story lines. Too many characters. Have read every Alex Cross book and loved them. Disliked this one tremendously. Disappointing.
Strange ending and not believable to me–I’m too old!
