Being a fighter is in my blood. My grandfather was a fighter, my father was a fighter, and I’m a fighter. I live for the rush of adrenaline and sensation of victory. When I fight, I give it my all. I step into the octagon and I fight until there’s nothing left to fight for. He’s been my best friend for most of my life. I’ve fought with him, fought against him, and for the longest time I fought … I fought for him, for us. Until he pushed me away, leaving me no choice but to tap-out.

Fighting is what saved me. It shed the old me and I became a newer shinier version of myself. Until it took away everything I loved. I gave up and tapped out.
Then one day, she came back into my life and reminded me that some things in life are worth fighting for. Now I’m fighting for us, day by day, proving to her that our happily ever after is worth fighting for.
This book is a stand-alone MMA romance.

This book was great. The match between the characters was so real. It had real world problems and to see them get through them was inspiring.
I was so excited to read Bella’s story. Marco and Bella have been fighting there feelings for one another for many years. Best friends for years , they were both curious if there was more to the strong bond of friendship that they have. After a bumpy start in there journey of there relationship , both Bella and Marco both accomplish what they set out to do with there lives. Both Bella and Marco made there dreams come true .

So I have been waiting for this book, for what seems like for forever! Nikki’s fighters are an absolute personal favorite of mine, and she pulled it off yet again with Tapping Out. This is sweet and sassy, Bella, all grown up. She’s a fighter in so many different ways, and she fights hard for her goals in every situation. This is very much her coming of age story, with the added bonus of catching up with all of the characters we completely fell for in the original fighting series.
Tapping Out is highly emotional, as well. There is some tough subject matter, but I think it was handled really well. It shows that life’s imperfections can breed perfection, if you believe in what your fighting for.
Dear Tapping Out,
HOLY TKO!!! You sucker punched me in the heart, leaving me breathless!! There are not enough words to express how much I ABSOLUTELY LOVED everything about you!
You are an AWESOME FIVE STAR and I want anyone who wants to find out what is the real tapping out needs to READ THIS!!!!!!!
BIG LOVE from,
Nikki Ash’s Club Fighter!!
Funny how we make all these plans and then life happens. Bella is the ultimate tomboy, with two best friends who are guys, and all she ever wanted to do is fight. Bella’s story is one full of twists and turns, starts and stops, and plenty of surprises. It’s a story of friendship, loss, destruction, desperation, growth and redemption. It is refreshingly realistic: raw and gritty, but sweet and tender. The advance copy I read of this book was my first by this author and I loved it! Full of pain and frustration, but also joy and satisfaction, I can’t wait to read more in this series!
I recently discovered Nikki Ash and have devowered everything she was written this past week. I was so excited to read Bella’s story who we met as a spunky kid ready to follow in her dads footsteps. This is Bellla and Macros story. They have been best friends since he was 12 and she was 6. When she becomes a teenager Marco starts to see Bella in a different light but fights it because of the age difference and his past. Bella doesn’t give up, she fights for what she wants even after Marco hits rock bottom. Will Marco show Bella he will fight for what he wants or will he just tap out? This is a very emotional story with very sensitive topics that Nikki Ash handles beautifully! I can’t wait for Tristians book!!!
It’s very fitting the daughter of Liz and Cooper( from Fighting for a Second Chance) is the first book in this brand new series. By reading the Fighting series, we are able to watch Bella grow from a little girl into the kind, loving, strong woman that she is in Tapping Out. Before reading this book, I was really hoping Bella end up with a particular hero because it seems like it was the best fit but, boy was I wrong !! Bella’s hero is perfectly imperfect for her. In my opinion the only reason that this book is 4.5 Star book is because sometimes the hero did things that drove me crazy and the fact that Bella kept forgiving him for the same thing annoyed me. Nikki Ash has done it again , please do not pass up this book, it’s amazing!!
This is Bella’s story and you will def cry and get mad there was a few times I wanted to throw my kindle. Bella got herself in a pickle and tristen her bestfriend is helping her through it when Marco is a total d bag and ditches his friends but when a letter comes about Marco wants to get clean and win back his girl but tristen doesn’t like that what guy will she chose? Another amazing story by the talented nikki and I can’t wait for her future stories!
I love Nikki’s books that I’ve read so far. I loved Marcos and Bella. Beginning to end was just enough. The drama, there feelings towards each other… I felt all of it. I definitely need to finish her fighting series.
4.3 Stars – an emotional rollercoaster. The way Nikki Ash writes her characters keeps me invested in their lives even when I want to smack them. The way this story was written, jumping through multiple events that shaped Marco and Bella’s relationship before finally landing in the present day, allowed me to witness first hand the push and pull of the characters. Unfortunately, that also meant I had to watch the Marco I first met deteriorate into someone it was hard to root for. He did eventually become someone I wanted to root for again in the second half of the book, but I had several moments of doubt where I wanted to throw the book across the room. By the end of the story, I felt worn out, like I was the one who had been in the octagon, but I can’t wait to get my hands on Tristan’s story so I can go back in for more.
Tapping Out is the first book I have read by Nikki Ash and I really liked it! I loved Bella, she was a pretty strong heroine! Marco, I had a love hate for him. He made alot of mistakes but he definitely redeemed himself! I really loved Bella and Marco together! I am looking forward to reading more from this author!
