The beer’s not the only thing getting tapped.CALLIE I have a secret. It’ll get me fired if my boss ever finds out…which shouldn’t be a problem except for one thing: my coworker, Reid Morgan. He’s cocky, aggravating, and that hot-as-sin mouth simultaneously makes me want to slap him and melt into the mattress. Now that he’s discovered my secret, he’s doing everything in his power to take my job. … he’s doing everything in his power to take my job.
REID
I have a problem: my pint-size spitfire of a coworker who’s primed to take my promotion.
She’s infuriating, sexy as hell, and I just can’t seem to keep my hands off her.
Now we’re both vying for the same position…and only one of us can come out on top.

Tap That is an enemies to lovers read with enough sweet, sassy and angst to keep you entertained and wanting more! I’m already a huge fan of RC Boldt and Jennifer Blackwood is a new to me author. I absolutely love this book! Their writing is amazing!
Reid thinks he has everything in the bag until he finds out Callie has taken the one thing he wants. When Reid decides to make Callie’s life hell, he had no idea that he’d fall for the girl who is taking his top spot.
I truly enjoyed Tap That as it was full of funny moments, sexiness, and a fair share of deep, meaningful moments. I loved Reid and Callie from the start and loved their banter from the first moment they met. Both characters were charming, so very real and when they came together, it was pure magic.
Great Read! The authors have done a wonderful job of writing a mixing humor with serious and romantic times with moments of aghast. The characters are well defined and relatable that the book is a 5 Star read in my humble opinion.
Reid has been working at the brewery bar for the last 5 years. He knows the ins and outs, the clientele, what works and what doesn’t. He has even mixed a few brews that have become favorites at the bar. So when the managers job comes open he’s ready for his chance. The Problem??? The owner has hired Callie for the job and expects Reid to show her the ropes. Needless to say this doesn’t set well with Reid. Let the fun begin, as Reid is determined to get the owner to change his mind and give him the manager position and Callie is determined to win the day.
The banter between Callie and Reid will have you smiling and the chemistry between them will have you wondering how they can possibly stay at odds. Secrets come out, a few lines get crossed and life is a big mess. Who gets the last word? Who gets the job? Do either end up with a happy ending? I highly recommend reading Tap That and offer the authors a hardy 2 Thumbs Up!
I enjoyed this book. Reid and Callie have a frien-emies relationship. Both wanting to stand out a get the position.
Reid had a hard time keeping his dislike of Callie hidden. Callie was there for the job whether Reid liked it or not.
Their banter back and forth was good. You felt for Callie as she tried to be the bigger person and not fall into his traps.
I would have liked to have seen Reid woo her. Show her what she really means to him before it is too late.
Overall a great book that other readers will enjoy. I’ll always read anything by RC Boldt. (one of my go to authors 😉 )
Sometimes, a book comes along that you really love. It’s sharp, it’s funny and it’s sexy. But, alas, the hero isn’t quite up to scratch. He’s subpar.
Reid is that hero… or should I say anti-hero? I really didn’t like Reid at the start of this book. He was an arrogant pig, selfish, and frankly, he didn’t deserve a HEA with Callie.
Reid’s a barman at a bar brewery called On tap. He’s hoping to get a promotion to manager as the last one has just left. But, he’s in for a surprise in the sexy shape of Callie. And for Reid, it’s not a good surprise.
Okay, so he was pissed off with his boss because he didn’t get the job he’d been hoping for. But to take it out on Callie. That was a truly di** move.
Callie admittedly, is a little to blame. She has overbearing, pretentious parents who want her to work for their company. Callie doesn’t want that, so she’d fudge the truth a bit, okay, a lot. A whole heck of a lot on her resume, and that’s how she got hired to be the new manager.
Reid soon suspects something is off with Callie with regards to the jon she is being trained to do– by him. He even plans to set her up to fail, but all the while, he’s imagining sexy interludes with her. There’s plenty of sarcastic, sometimes caustic banter between these two. Callie isn’t shy at giving back what Reid throws at her, and it certainly ramped up the sexual tension. There’s no denying the chemistry they share. It’s hot and heavy, even when it’s just in Reid’s head.
There were some funny moments in this part and I started to warm up to Reid, even allowing him a by in his attitude toward Callie initially. Because he made me laugh, he made me smile and yes. He got me hot and steamed up with his roving eye and lusty imagination.
After Callie’s been on her probationary period for a little while, they finally get to spend some time together and really hit it off and Reid starts to have feelings for her. They seemed to click, they talked and laughed, the sex was great and they were getting into their groove.
Unfortunately, there is a standing no-fraternization policy at On Tap. Other’s have been fired before when they were caught out, so Reid and Callie know they have to keep their burgeoning romance on the back-burner when at work. But, otherwise, they can do what they want, as long as no one sees them.
Will the clock run out before they really have a chance.
Then, the morning after they’ve had the best sex yet, Reid gets a call from Tom, the owner of the bar and just like that, he flicks a switch and all his emotions are turned off. He’s back to being a total jerk. I even said it as I was reading.
‘HE DID NOT JUST GO THERE!!!! But, sadly, folks, yes. Yes, he did.
Part of me wanted to DNF, right there and then, but I didn’t. I kept going and Reid just kept digging his hole deeper and deeper though.
His best friend tried to get him to see the light but, no go. The scene in Warner’s pub with Callie and the karaoke. I totally called it on the song she picked. This was Reid’s chance to fix things between them, but… OMG!!! Poor Callie. She should have just left. But her parents were the worst of the two evils so she stayed. When Reid finally got his head out of his bu**, he tries to make it up to her. Callie isn’t that easy though and throws his attempt back in his face.
For the first time EVER, part of me wanted the guy’s BFF to pick up the pieces and steal the girl’s heart.
Will this be the case. Or can Reid climb out of the huge hole he’s in and get back in Callie’s good graces?

This is another funny rom com from RC Boldt. I haven’t read Jennifer Blackwood before, but now I will check out her other books when I can. She’s added to my TBR list.
Reid is a good guy, he busts his butt at On Tap and deserves to be made the new manager. Of course he gets passed over for the position.
I love what Reid does with his grandma.
Yes, he has moments where he isn’t all that nice to Calie, but he’s still a good guy.
Callie lied to get the job. Plain and simple. I did like her. She puts her foot in her mouth a lot and word vomits without thinking first. Her parents are jerks!
I loved the tension between them.
I do wish we would have seen Reid going to her parents though.
This is a really good read.
Callie gets the job Reid has been eyeing forever. He cannot stand being “just a bartender” and Callie manages to scoop up his job and she doesn’t even like beer.
This story was full of funny banter and steam, which made for a fun trip from enemies to lovers.
Hell, Reid can “Tap” me any day.
Enemies to lovers tropes can be tricky for me because there’s a fine line between “sexy-mean” and “well now I just feel bad” mean, and let me tell you – it doesn’t take much to make me feel bad. So, fantastic news y’all? Ms. Boldt and Ms. Blackwood got the balance just right. Because there are angry sparks flying here – but they only lead nicely into a sizzling sweet burn and it was not difficult for me to jump on board with this romance.
There’s a sort of quirky adorableness to this fun, light-hearted romance that sets Tap That apart from other books of this nature. It was Cassie and Reid’s ability to be so real with each other that really drew me in, and the easy way they interacted – that is, when they weren’t stubbornly butting heads (because…enemies). However, even when their heads were butting, the chemistry was on point. And Reid was that perfect kind of hero, his gruff and grumbly exterior blanketing that irresistible heart of gold on the inside.
I can’t stress enough what a fun read this was. There were moments so perfect they literally made my breath catch. There were moments so funny I couldn’t hold my giggles back. And there were moments I wanted to knock their heads together to try to work some sense into them – but over-all – these moments all equaled a delightful romance and a super satisfying reader experience.

Barman Reid has his eye on a new management position that has recently come up. Seeing the opportunity he’s been waiting for, he thinks the job’s as good as his. He’s worked there for years, knows the staff and the costumers and he’s good at his job. So you can imagine his annoyance when the job goes to someone else. And not just anyone but someone new, who doesn’t share his knowledge and experience.
Callie can’t believe she’s got a new job. Maybe lying about been a beer connoisseur wasn’t the best thing to do, especially because she cant stand the stuff and knows nothing about what her new job entails. Hoping sexy barman Reid will show her the ropes doesn’t quite turn out like she’d hoped for seeing as she ‘stole’ his promotion from him.
With sparks flying between them, these two can’t seem to stop bickering and I loved the banter they shared. Both Cassie and Reid are really likeable characters and the whole hate/lust thing they’ve got going on had me completely engrossed.
I really enjoyed this book.
Tap That has a fun, flirty vibe- aside from Callie and Reid both trying to get the job that is…The same job. This enemies to lovers book is just the bit of fun you need.
Tap That has the quirky sense of humor and fun you expect from these authors. It’s got the grandma you always wanted and Thursday night’s that will make you super jealous.
So come talked a walk on the brewery side and Tap That!
Reviewed for Sweet Spot Sisterhood
With a little innuendo and a ton of laughs, Tap That makes brewing a sexy business. Blackwood and Boldt blend their heated humor and heartwarming storytelling into an unstoppable combination. Reid and Callie go for broke with a sensationally sinful battle of wits and heart. Once you have read it, it’s hard to forget it.

This was a good enemy’s to lovers read! I don’t know if you can call them enemies though. The attraction between them was strong from their first meeting, even though they fought it every chance they got.
When they first meet there are sparks, but Reid doesn’t like Callie because she took the job he wanted. I was happy when his actions toward her changed. Once they both gave in, sparks went flying! I loved the back and forth banter. My only issue was that I felt the drama was dragged out a bit. Other than that, it was a good.
Overall, it was a pleasure to read. Both of these authors are new to me, but I enjoyed the story and will look forward to reading more by them in the future.
