I can’t keep my promises. I’ve made too many, to too many people. All the promises have tangled into a web of sin and truths. But there is one thing I’m certain of…I have to end this—us. This is Book 4 in the Sinful Truths series.
This is actually hard to review and not give any spoilers. I just kept saying OMG, OMG, OMG over and over again. Lots of questions answered but lots of new questions asked too. This story had me the happiest but I also cried the most with this one. I usually never cry for books but I teared up multiple times with Tangled Promise. There are some repetitive parts but overall there is a good flow to the story. It is as well written as all of Ella Miles books are and you are captivated by the characters.

A well written perfectly paced story pulling you in from the start. This may just be another series you need to read because it keeps your interest from start to finish. It ends in a cliffhanger just like the first three did but you just cannot wait to get the next one for more of the story. This one was where Zeke had to keep his promise to three different women all with an interest he holds.

**Spoilers**
Zeke, Siren, and Nora head to Lithuania to visit Lucy, but they are attacked that very night when sleeping. They are able to escape and have to return to St. Kitt’s to received Julian’s next missive. He insists on acquiring a yacht so Zeke immediately thinks of Enzo. Plans to return to Miami are made.
Zeke is finally reunited with Enzo, and he brings Siren with him to meet both Enzo and Kai as well. He is delighted to learn of their twin babies, and it makes Siren wish she had a life where she could have a happy marriage and raise children in a house with a white picket fence.
Unfortunately, their reunion is short-lived because Siren has an implanted tracking device (unbeknownst to her), and Julian easily discovers their location. He has a massive force attack Enzo’s yacht, and they capture Kai, Siren, and Lucy. They are desperate to find out what Lucy has entrusted to Enzo and Kai, the secrets she holds, the files that have been safely stored in a hidden location.
When Zeke finds the trio at Julian’s mansion, he is given the choice to free only one of the three women. At that time he whispers to Siren, “Marry me,” and she says “Yes.” Then he chooses Kai as the one to be released because she is a mother to two children. Now that Beckett has Kai safely on her way back to Enzo, he and Zeke focus on rescuing Siren. Unfortunately, the few minutes it has taken them to reunite Kai with Enzo, Julian and Siren have disappeared in a hidden tunnel.
Lucy is extremely ill, dying of stage 4 cancer, and she wants to see the stars one more time. Julian allows Siren to carry her outside so she can look to the heavens, and that is when she takes her final breath. She has shared her Scientist mother’s secrets to Siren, those things that must remain locked away, because it can also be used to create mass illness in the world.
Siren is a captive, and Zeke hasn’t rescued her. She now believes that he doesn’t truly love her, and has played her all along. Both Julian and Bishop want Siren as their own, but what with her is a mystery.

Oh my gosh! Can I have the other two books, like now, please?!? This suspense is killing me! This is my favorite series by Ella Miles and I honestly didn’t think anything could top her Truth and Lies series. We continue with Zeke and Siren’s fight to beat Julian and Bishop. Just when they finally give in and admit their feelings, the ending leaves you doubting them getting their happily ever after. I love the appearance of Kai and Enzo!!

**3.75 – 4 “miles to go before promises are kept” stars**
I greatly appreciate Ella Miles’ writing style, which also keeps me interested, but in this book there was bit more sex filler that came at the expense of plot. It’s steamy sex, but I’m anxious to get this story rolling. Siren and Zeke are still stuck under the thumb of villains Julian and Bishop (who plays a starring role in Siren’s nightmares), and are still committed to perform 3 more missions for him before Zeke’s release (maybe). This book covered some romantic ground with the lovers mutually agreeing to stop telling each other lies (mostly) and declare their love. But, their love gets tangled up in what turns out to be Zeke’s promises to 3 women, one of whom comes from Zeke’s past and makes Siren jealous. There’s a mission to save a damsel in distress; brainstorming possible ways to outsmart the villains, and FINALLY a reunion trip back to the Black Empire where the welcome is short, but sweet, and those pesky promises come back into play in the tortured cliffy. Yes, Ella rubs her hands in glee as she tricks us with her twists and turns, action-packed violence, and questionable outcome for our lovers. Where will love and promises lead Zeke and Siren? … read and see.

This series leaves you chomping at the bit! With Siren and Zeke you never know if you want to hug them or throat punch them. Usually both at the same time! I seriously cannot wait to see Julian and Bishop get theirs. I have to admit I’m struggling to right a review that doesn’t give anything way, because oh joy when………….. I love this series and now I just need the next book!!

The fourth book in the Sinful Truths series, Tangled Promise is a skillfully written dark romance with a storyline that is engaging and will pull you in and keep you hostage till the end. The characters are amazing, believable, and likeable, even the ones you love to hate. Tangled Promise is filled with feels, deception, secrets, lies, danger, twists, heartache, suspense, hot scenes, and love.

This latest installment felt different to me. We learn more about Lucy and her relationship with Zeke. You also have the push & pull of Zeke and Aria’s relationship. The story does move forward but I felt there was a whole lot of fluff in this book. It almost felt like it was used as a filler. The author knew she had to have 6 installments and in order to stretch out the story until book 6, she used this one to fill with stuff that didn’t necessarily needed to be written. There are some definite key scenes but I feel like they could have been a good many chapters left out. I’m ready for the story to get where it’s going and have a solid finish.

* This book is part of a series and previous books must be read first to avoid possible spoilers, read on with caution.*
Tangled Promise, book 4 in The Sinful Truths series, has been my favorite so far. Zeke (who wouldn’t love this guy???) and his humorous but sexy ways keep my eyes glued to these pages and finally..some real feelings and honesty are shared by he and Siren. I haven’t been a fan of hers so far, didn’t think she was good enough for Zeke but now, she may redeem herself, only time will tell. Not all truths are revealed to the detriment of full disclosure as each of them holds back things that might hurt, jeopardize or place the the other in more danger..as if that wasn’t obvious! There is certainly PLENTY to keep hidden with these two. Nevertheless, Zeke and Siren become a team instead of fighting against what has been there from the start, even if they were too stubborn or protective to admit it. There has been something shimmering in the air around them since she pulled him from the water that first fateful night and saved his life…could this be really be love???
As things go in the criminal worlds that Ella Miles creates for us, the villains are never far behind, so Zeke and Siren might be in trouble again and in need of a miracle. Wouldn’t some much needed backup be just the thing?
Tangled Promise proves to be another wild rollercoaster ride, courtesy of Ella Miles that mixes dark, dangerous characters with enough heart and humor to make you love them, crazy good plotlines, perfectly evil villians to loathe and the sexy steaminess you know she’ll bring to each part of her series. Looking forward to the next chapter of Zeke and Siren’s tale…March won’t come soon enough!

Where to begin … the first chapter was a premonition of what was to come in this chapter of this series. What a wild ride it was. Feelings are finally expressed and shown and other characters are introduced to make the story more complicated. Old fiends make an appearance and I loved having them back in Zeke’s life. It’s amazing how in tune the characters are with each other that they can understand what the other is trying to convey, Ms. Miles does a wonderful job of writing so you, as the reader, can understand as well and are living as the characters themselves.. The roller coaster is still roaring straight up and there’s still so much more to figure out for this series, it’s absolutely wonderful to be part of this journey of these books.

A Dark tangled brilliantly written series that continues to get better from one read to the next and let me just say this one is the best by far. Zeke And Siren Begin To Reveal Their Secrets And Hope To Find Their Forever In A Suspenseful Steamy Enemies To Lovers Story!
This is book four of the Sinful Truths series. It picks up where book three leaves off, and is best read in series. There are many hidden truths. Some are revealed, while other questions arise. This book takes a twist in a new direction and ends with a cliffhanger. The series is complicated to follow, but a refresher follows.
Siren, a.k.a. Aria Torres, now thirty-three, made a vow eight years ago to Jullian Reed, the drug lord who runs things on St. Kitts and beyond. He is working towards expanding his territory; in book one, he dipped into human trafficking. Siren is tied to him, but she hates him. She hates all men. They have all disappointed her. She works for herself, no matter what Julian thinks. But she must follow his orders and she can never lie. She lures bad men into her trap for Julian, who gains from their demise. She didn’t want to deliver the dying man to Julian, but she had no other options. As much as she hoped he was different than the other men, she would never be free to be with him.
Zeke Kane works for the infamous Mr. Black. They are more like family, and Zeke will stop at nothing to protect his family. His immense size and physical strength make him a formidable opponent. Yet for those he loves, he is selfless and sweet. He was rescued from bleeding out from a gunshot wound and drowning in the depths of the Caribbean by a beautiful woman with the voice of an angel. Siren, he called her. He was instantly drawn to her like no other. But her motives weren’t altruistic. He had been willing to lay down his life for her but was cruelly betrayed and found himself Julian’s prisoner instead.
In book two, Julian wants Mr. Black’s location, but after Aria’s exhaustive efforts to get Zeke to talk, Julian offers Zeke an alternative. Five rounds of truth or sin, similar to truth or dare. Julian adds the caveat that failure will result in Aria’s death. Keeping his truths to himself, Zeke opts for sin in his first round.
Eli Beckett appears to be moving in on Julian’s turf. Zeke’s sin is to track down and eliminate the one-armed Mr. Beckett, about whom little is known. Julian assigns Aria to accompany Zeke. They discover that Eli Beckett works for Mr. Black. Zeke manages to rescue him from the death Siren believes he suffered and sends him into hiding. Meanwhile, Zeke and Siren struggle with their attraction as they find themselves on opposing sides.
In the third book, Zeke discovers Siren is married and he shutters his heart. Meanwhile, Julian announces that for the next round of sin or truth, since Zeke no longer loves Siren, he will kill Lucy if Zeke fails. Lucy is an innocent from Zeke’s youth that his best friends know nothing of, so he needs to know the source of the information. Hugo, Siren’s husband, says it was Siren who discovered Lucy. For the next round, the truth Julian asks for is the location of Mr. Black’s vault. Zeke is shocked again to discover how much Julian knows, and chooses sin. Julian wants something of equal value, so he gives Zeke less than a week to steal one billion dollars and deposit it into his account. This is too easily accomplished via Hugo’s conveniently uber-wealthy parents.
To prove herself to Zeke, Siren agrees to divorce Hugo. Hugo follows through on a clause in their agreement allowing him to sell her in case of divorce. She ends up sold to a horrible man named Bishop. Zeke’s price for purchasing her freedom is every last penny he owns, which he doesn’t hesitate to pay. Siren, however, immediately pushes him away and the truth of what she suffered remains unknown.
Book four begins by first stepping back one week in time to Siren’s captivity. Bishop wants to control her mind, so that even in freedom she thinks of him. He once loved, and suggests if she loves him (Zeke is not named), she should push him away or else she will destroy him. Siren later struggles with this as Zeke seeks to earn her trust and finally bring down the walls that separate them. They address the subject of Lucy as Siren learns more about Zeke’s past. Julian eventually calls Zeke in for another round of their game. He chooses sin and is required to deliver Mr. Black’s yacht. Enzo Black and Kai thus enter the story and meet Siren. As Julian nears the completion of his game with Zeke, new truths emerge and everything goes haywire.
Zeke and Siren’s story in Tangled Promise centers around their commitment to forever and sharing their secrets. Siren struggles with the trauma caused by her brief captivity with Bishop. Zeke tries to assure her of his love for her while explaining his connection to Lucy, who proves to be a challenge to Siren. In meeting Enzo and Kai, the couple’s hope for a happy ending finally begins to take form.
This book follows Zeke’s story of three loves. That of a sister. Of a best friend. And of his everything. The three converge, forcing him to dig deep. At the same time, Siren is still owned by three men. Julian, for whom she works. Zeke, who owns her heart. And now Bishop, who controls her mind. The three combined have her questioning her sanity.
In the end, some unknown identities appear to be obvious, but aren’t yet revealed. Julian’s game is blown to pieces, so how the remaing two books of the series play out is unclear, although it is near certain a game of manipulation will be involved.
Readers may have some concerns while reading. *Spoilers* First, Zeke and Siren spend far too much time going in circles in their heads. Second, it was said previously that nobody knew about Lucy, yet that seems implausible given new revelations. Third, having Lucy tell Siren in her own words what happened between her and Zeke when young was not only foolishly dangerous, but messy, completely unnecessary, and unkind to Siren. Zeke was perfectly capable of telling Siren everything Lucy did. It was his story, too. And further, Lucy refused to tell It all. The trip made no sense. Fourth, for being such a ruthless pair, they are way too emotionally vulnerable, swinging from extreme to extreme. Fifth, characters sometimes know things they don’t appear to have been told, and it isn’t questioned. For example, Lucy knows Siren can’t lie, and Julian knows Bishop’s voice is in Siren’s head. He also knows that Zeke and Siren have suddenly decided to kill him instead of playing along as always. Sixth, Zeke says he has been gone over a year, but that doesn’t add up. Seventh, it is implausible that Enzo and Kai didn’t have trusted security with them at port and on sea, as well as a captain. It is implausible that nobody was looking out for incoming threats when they understood Zeke’s presence was dangerous.
Zeke and Siren’s fourth story is a suspenseful, steamy, enemies to lovers romance loaded with tension that will keep you hooked on the series in the end. Zeke and Siren work to reveal their secrets with the hope of finding their forever. Here we learn more about Zeke’s past and his relationship with Lucy. The book is nicely written. The POV alternates between Zeke and Siren, with cameo POVs from Kai and Enzo. The plot is very loose for a majority of the book, but is carefully constructed later. The characters are well-defined. I rate this book 3.5 stars.

Three women…. Three loves….. Three to save. But what if Zeke can’t save all three? What if he has to choose? How can he choose? How does he choose? Can he find a way out?
There is Siren. There is Lucy. There is Kai. He has to choose, but how? And whom?
Once again, Ella Miles leads us down a dark path. We learn a few answers but there are many more secrets being kept deep in a dark closet. After all, they wouldn’t be secrets if we knew, would they? Ahhhh, but all in due time. Secrets rarely stay hidden. Truths will be exposed when a flicker of light streams through.
All you have to do is read the the first page and you know you have to read on, as you’ll be lured in to the darkness, wanting to see the light shine through. All it takes is a teeny, tiny sliver of light to break the darkness. So it is with Zeke’s story. Beware, the journey never is easy when Ella Miles puts her pen to paper. Just sit back and relax, well…. if you can…. Just know, the twists and turns will keep you guessing. And who will you choose? Kai? Lucy? Siren?
One thing I have learned…. never doubt Zeke. He always finds a way out. We have a big cliffy here, again, but all in due time. Zeke somehow will figure it all out. He’s always does.

The fourth book in the series starts off with Siren still in Bishop’s hands. He breaks her and gets into her head but she is finally free. She goes back to Zeke and he will do everything he can to break her so she can heal along with him. They have to rebuild to be truly happy and free. Julian demands they return so Zeke will fulfill the bargain made. Before they can do that, he has one purpose to fulfill…go to Lucy and have her talk to Siren. Nora pilots them on their journey. They find her, get attacked and move again. Now, Lucy will fight on her terms and no one else’s…she has a secret only Siren knows. They have become fast friends. Once they return to Julian, he demands that Zeke pick another sin or truth. The stakes are raised now~ to fulfill one of the demands Siren and him returns to his family and they are once again attacked. Now three women’s lives hang in the balance and Zeke must choose who to save…who will it be? How will the other two survive until he can find them? The one thing that Bishop and Julian want now rests in Siren’s hands! But, now another cliff…grrrrrr! I LOVE and HATE these books at the same time…. Ella Miles will make us wait for answers until the next book comes out! Miss Miles you delivered a phenomenal book once again! I received this as an ARC and am leaving a voluntary review.

Tenacious love
Tangle Promise (Sinful Truths Book 4) by Ella Miles is an exceptionally well written dark romance. Zeke and Siren are wonderful characters with emotional depth and never ending perseverance, determination and amazing endurance.
Book 4 is a wonderful read as Zeke and Siren finally admit, recognize and allow their deep and abiding love to manifest and take hold. Zeke is truly an amazing alpha hero and I just adore his persistence by not giving up on Siren. Despite the darkness and seemingly constant disasters around every corner, these two finally experience some happiness. As with all of Ella Miles’ dark romance series, the antagonists twist things up, causing pain, heartbreak and bleak hopelessness. She does not disappoint in Tangled Promise, but she did shine the light on how truly strong the heroines of her books are. Kai and Siren are amazing and I can’t wait to see how Siren’s strength is demonstrated in Book 5. She and Zeke are going to have to dig deep.
Overall, a fantastic installment in this series with plenty of edge of your seat drama, nail biting suspense and pulse pounding danger throughout mixed in with Zeke and Siren’s thrilling, exciting, steamy exploration of their love every chance they get.

This series just keeps getting better and better. I love Zeke. He’s such a strong alpha dominant male. Siren is also a strong female. Zeke is so Hot when he takes controls. The sex scenes were super hot too. There so he touching moments as well. The cliffhanger is sad and suspenseful too. K can’t wait to see what develops.
I read an ARC of this book from Booksprout and voluntarily share my review.
This is my favorite book in the series so far. Zeke and Siren continue to grow as a couple. The family is reunited, and fights against 2 evil forces. I couldn’t put this book down, well written!
