How to protect your heart: Let your bodyguard have it.Jane Cobalt is an American princess. The loyal and painfully curious twenty-three-year-old has inherited immense pressure to preserve the Cobalt legacy. But for Jane — sex, love, and life have been a series of royal failures. After a friends-with-benefits ended in disaster, she’s sworn to a “no sex” hiatus for, well, eternity — and she has no … well, eternity — and she has no intention of letting anyone in her bed and definitely not her heart.
Twenty-eight-year-old Thatcher Moretti is painfully professional. As the stern 24/7 bodyguard to Jane, thinking about unbridled sex with his sweet client is a sin. One that he keeps committing.
But the real act is a hard line he’d never cross.
When a family member betrays Jane’s trust, the media becomes obsessed with matchmaking the perpetually “single” Jane Cobalt and unwanted attention suddenly compromises her safety.
Thatcher would do anything to protect her, and one solution may level the threats:
Become the fake boyfriend to an American princess.
Entwined together with boiling chemistry, new “professional” parameters, and an oath, unsaid feelings threaten to rise and change everything.

If you are a fan of the Addicted/Like Us series then you’ll love this book as well. Jane is one of my favorites, and I was looking forward to seeing her fall in love after having so much bad luck in this area. Thatcher is mysterious and broody, but not in a way that annoyed me. He opened up pretty quickly to Jane, and was a very supportive fake-boyfriend/bodyguard. I loved everything about this book, and it was fun to be reunited with everyone. The friendship between Moffy and Jane is out of this world strong, and I also enjoyed her scenes with her siblings. I have never seen such an incredible connection between a group of characters, and it never comes across as over the top. The story-lines are super original, and you never know what to expect, which in my opinion makes this series such a great one. Also Krista and Becca always take the time to fully tell a story. It is never rushed or over too quickly. I am already looking forward to the next book! If you read and loved the previous books, then I think you’ll love this one as well.
As a Marvel fan, its only right to side with the Hales. But Jane and her band of merry brothers and one sister, are pretty charming too.
The Calloway clan and its gremlins, spawn, and various Marvel, and HP family members are undeniably wonderful…minus the Queen…Grandmother Calloway.
I love diving into the budding love lives of the younger generation. Watching them fall hard for what is in their faces. I welcome all the Like Us novels and can’t wait to continue devouring them.
Jane and Thatcher are liquid heat. Fake dates and all, these two are only fooling themselves. But I love every denial.
Tangled Up in Love
I loved the characters in this story. The layers of complimentary storylines and the emotional build. Jane and Thatcher had sweltering sexual tension and chemistry. The story felt wordy at times, but I appreciated the emotional connection. I enjoyed Jane’s quirkiness and Thatcher’s loyalty.
The fourth book of the Like Us series revolves around Jane and Thatcher. I’ll be honest, I started reading these books for Maximoff and Farrow, so I was a little nervous to switch over to Jane and Thatcher. Luckily, the book was still interesting and I still love the characters, even though some of the plot points were a little strange. However, I expect a messy plot and over the top action and drama when I read this series. This series has a strange charm that makes it incredibly addicting. I started book five immediately after finishing this book.
OH my Jane and Thatcher. Man this couple is truly fun, sexy and down right electrifying. They have so much passion and angst, I could read them all day long.

I liked this way more than Moffy & Farrow’s books. TLU perfectly balanced the romance and family dynamics we all of about this series.
Jane and Thatcher are such an amazing couple. They balance each other out perfectly. I loved seeing them slowly get to know each other and fall in love. Their chemistry is off the charts and so natural. I hope their next book is out soon because I can’t get enough of them. There were so many scenes where I had to physically hold back a smile, they made me so giddy. They love and respect each other, and at the end of the day they just want the other one to be as happy and fulfilled as possible. They are KBs softest couple to date.
Jane’s brothers all make an appearance, as well as her sister. I love the Cobalt gang so much, I really want them all to get their own romance (especially Charlie & Beckett, I need to see who manages to bring them down). The famous Wednesday dinners also make an appearance, which I enjoyed. I adored meeting Thatcher’s family and getting to know about his past. His mother and grandmother were a breath of fresh air. I wish we had gotten to know Banks a little more, but other than that the family scenes were A+. Thatcher family is Italian, and I really liked seeing little tidbits about their cultures and seeing the family interact in Italian.
This was a classic KB book, it really reminded me of their Addicted series, and it made me so happy. Sinful Like Us is going to amazing, I can’t wait to see how Thatcher and Jane’s relationship continues, and there were some loose ends that make me really excited for the next installment.
Overall 4 out of 5 stars

Not so fake couple!
The Like Us series is becoming one of my favorites.
Whew, Jane and Thatcher had some sizzling chemistry! And because of that, you just knew the whole “fake couple” thing was not going to last. They sure did give it a good try, though, doing their best to keep up the act for everyone around them. But when feelings are that strong between people there’s really no way to deny it.
I enjoyed finally getting to know Jane, outside of her friendship with Moffy. I really like her- she’s sweet and quirky, loves with her whole heart, she’s not afraid to be who she is, unapologetically. And I loved that Thatcher respected and cared for Jane, quirks, cats, and all.
I thought these two were great together, so opposite but just perfect.
I’m so glad we get to see the rest of the families in these books, they all contribute so much to these stories. Since I haven’t read the parents books, it’s nice getting to know them a bit this way. Jane’s family is awesome, I love her siblings!
I have to say, I’m a little frustrated with the security team, especially with how the book ended. I don’t agree with how they are going about things, and I’m anxious to see the way things are going to play out. They seem to be over-stepping boundaries, but we shall see!
This was the first book I’ve listened to by both Holly and Stephen and I really enjoyed their narrations. Holly was great as Jane and I loved how Stephen brought Thatcher to life. My only issue with his narration was with the other male voices. I had a hard time distinguishing who was who, as they all kind of sounded similar, and more on the feminine side. But other than that, the narration was great!
And I do admit, it was hard hearing other people narrate #Marrow, because I love JF and Alexander- they are Moffy and Farrow!, but what can you do?
My Heart is so completely full with this book! I can’t even explain how truly in love I am with this book and this couple! Jane and Thatcher have completely consumed my heart! This book will forever remain one of my Top Favorites of ALL TIME!! I could read this book over and over again for the rest of my life and never grow board. I never wanted it to end and when it did I got all teary eyed because it was just so wonderful. Krista and Becca have a way with words that when they write it feels like you are in a whole other world. I sat down and finished this book in one go. I checked my phone maybe three times during the Hours I spent locked in my room just completely immersed in this story. It was so much more than I could have imaged. Better than I dreamed it would be and I already knew I was going to love it. Jane and Thatcher are absolutely to die for. This story draws you in and leaves you undeniably happy and craving more. I am so Excited that we will be getting another book in Jane and Thatcher POV!! I am not ready to let go of them yet! I’m so excited to see what happens next with how certain things left off. This flannel wearing, extremely strict bodyguard and this cat loving sweet as hell famous girl have stolen my heart. Their attraction is undeniable! These two are Sexy as Hell and having them sneak around makes it all the more hotter. The way the fall in love is even more special. This story is so much fun! I was laughing and swooning the whole time! Read this book and get consumed with me. I am in love and I can’t get enough of this story!
P.S LUNNELLY PEOPLE!!
I loved getting to know more about Jane and Thatcher’s characters. The relationships they have with the rest of the families and security is beautifully written. I also truly enjoyed learning more about Thatcher and Banks, yes they are twins, but they are both unique individuals. This story was beautiful, and now I’m counting down till the next book in the series is released.
I love this series.
This book is so full of love my heart is so happy.
I’ve always loved Rose and Connor but now I think I love Jane so much more.I’d like to have her confidence,I’d like to love my body like she does…Chubby Power!!
Thatcher your broken italian is so cute for this South Italian girl…Moretti’s family is so fun to read and so easy to love.
I can’t wait to read next book even if this ends with a tolerable cliffhanger.
Rate: 6 / 5 stars
Ahhhhhh! I’m still so damn giddy over this book. It was way better than I thought it was going to be. I never thought I’d love Tatcher so damn much but the guy definitely surprised me. He was sweet and he was hot as hell. The attraction and chemistry between him and Jane was everything omg. Seriously fire. And I loved getting to know more about how security works and also about Tatcher himself. He’s still very relunctant to open about certain things but we did get to know him so much better and I loved that and I can’t wait to learn even more.
And although TLU didn’t have that much about Jane’s family as Moffy’s books did. I loved every little bit we did get. I’m still terrible curious about Charlie and I’m praying he gets his own book just so I’ll freaking understand him better and find out what he’s always up to when he disappears.
I also hope Becket works everything out and comes out on top of his whole situation.
I’m so glad Charlie and Moffy’s relationship keeps on getting better and I died when Farrow and Tatcher had a moment. These two will end up being friends and I am so looking forward to it.
AH and I can’t wait to see Jane and Tatcher be a real couple outside of closed doors. Sinful Like Us is going to be AWESOME. I’m already dying for more. And for all the other couples, holy hell I don’t know how I’m going to wait until book 8 for Akara and Sulli *cries a river*, we are only half way there, I’ll die meanwhile. And ahhhh Luna and Donnely omggggg I need their own book too. It NEEDS to happen, please I’m begging here *joins hands in prayer*.
There is so much to this story.
For the first 3 books of the series, you grow to despise Thatcher. But you fall head over heels in love with him within the first chapter. HOW? How amazing are Krista & Becca to turn your opinion around so quickly.
We’ve known Thatcher as the Lead of SFE, then a member of SFO. We know his love of rules and orders. We know he punched Farrow and gets the silent treatment from Jane. We have him in a thong for the Hot Santa contest. But that is all surface things from the first 3 books. What we get in his story, is amazing depth. Backstory, pain, hurt, remorse, and whole heart devotion to protecting Jane and her family.
I think I highlighted/noted more within this story, than I have in all the books I’ve read before it. I need to go back and highlight each and every “Fuck it” that he thinks, b/c THAT is Thatcher at his best.
I laughed, I cried, I LOVED getting a bit deeper into his “issue” with Farrow. I F’LOVED all the #Marrow scenes. I love that so many other story lines were opened up. I know the wait is going to KILL me.
I knew that I was nearing the end of the story (by the %) and I STILL wasn’t prepared for this amazing book world to be done. I could LITERALLY live in it all day. I want so much more.
I know I went on and on about Thatcher, but that is only b/c we know so much about Jane. Well the one thing we did learn is that girl can multiple orgasm like no one I’ve ever read before. I want to go back and count how many times. Holy shit, Thatcher is amazing in bed. I can’t wait for the next book where they don’t need to be so quiet and we can get another full blown sex-a-thon.
I’m going to try to avoid just gushing about how much I love Becca and Krista Ritchie, but they are two of my absolute favorite authors.
These ladies bring something entirely different to the normal contemporary romance story. The familial/friend relationships they give their characters is something so rarely seen, and they do it beautifully.
Jane and Thatcher are wonderful together. The pacing is pretty good, and there’s just enough outside action and character development going on to keep the story moving forward. Jane’s struggle with figuring out where she fits in and what she should be doing is so recognizable and relatable.
I need more of Thane, Marrow, Lunnelly, and literally any other partnership Becca and Krista come up with.
