The Celebration Series:
Celebration Township is made for family, friends, falling in love, and don’t forget celebrating the holidays.
The first twelve books bring two people onto center stage as they overcome odds and figure out what their futures may hold. There is laughter, love, romance and even suspense when you join these couples as they each find a happily ever after over a holiday. The thirteenth book brings all twelve couples, and even a few special guests, into final focus as the first couple in Tangled in Tinsel prepares for their wedding one year after they met.

Casey is new in town and hiding from her past. Her next-door neighbor, Thad, is a sexy police officer, but Casey refuses to get involved with a married man. Thad can’t seem to understand why she keeps pushing him away. A great story. Casey is hurt by her past and having another married man come on to her is beyond frustrating for her. When others in town hope she will date him, she is confused. Thad cannot understand why she is hot and cold with him.
This is the first novella in The Celebration Series, a small town romance. Casey and Thad’s story is sweet, fun, sexy, and fast-paced, filled with misunderstandings, and secrets. The storyline has a little suspense. They share an undeniable chemistry. The supporting characters are great and intriguing. Yvonne Cude did a great job with the narration. She has a beautiful voice, easy to understand, with a great range of voices. I enjoyed it. Looking forward to listen to the next book in the Series, Tears to Cheers.
Tangled in Tinsel
The Celebration Series, Book 1
By: Stacy Eaton
Narrated by: Yvonne Cude
With a past she is trying to escape, Casey is settling herself in her new home in Celebration Township. Thad, the hot cop lives next door, and the attraction between the two is palpable. But Casey has no intention of getting involved with a married man. Between the misunderstandings and the past looking over Casey’s shoulder, Thad and Casey have a lot to overcome. When things just begin to look up, danger comes to Celebration Township. Will Thad be able to keep Casey safe? Stacy Eaton masterfully weaves this romantic suspense with not only romance and suspense, hints of humor. I found myself invested in the couple, at times frustrated and at times laughing and loving them. The secondary characters were a plus and gave us the small town feel. I enjoyed this novella and look forward to seeing what will happen next in Celebration.
This was my first narration by Yvonne Cude and I loved her. Great pacing a variety of voices, she made our trip to Celebration a joy. It was easy to distinguish the difference between the characters and she enhanced the love and suspense with her voice. It was an enjoyable listen.

The story and the characters are interesting, but it drove me crazy, Casey never asked Thad or anyone if he was married. I couldn’t see a nurse not asking this important questions. Of course there are sex scenes involved.
Casey is running from her past and ends up in the town of Celebration. Thad is Casey’s new neighbor and the town’s Police Chief. They have an instant attraction, but will Casey let her past keep them from a HEA. Good book with a good story line and characters! Can’t wait to read more of this series!
Tangled in Tinsel is a short novella about a couple that is almost kept apart by misunderstandings. Casey moved up north to get away from her past. She didn’t tell anyone about it since she wanted a new start. She’s attracted to her next door neighbor, Thad, but he’s married! Thad can’t figure out why Casey keeps holding back.
My problem with novellas are that they are too short to develop the connection between the characters & the readers fully. I enjoyed the story but due to that lack of connection, I wasn’t as fully invested in the story. It was a good superficial read.
