A roguish lord and an innocent lady… hunt. Being shy does make it difficult to search. Except for her rakish rogue has other ideas.
Miss Danielle Frazier is far too virtuous for his tastes… so why can’t he stop thinking about her? He must take drastic measures. His plan? Steal one kiss. He likes a woman with a certain amount of knowledge and Dani clearly has none. One botched kiss and he’ll be over this ridiculous infatuation. Except for from the moment their lips touch, nothing goes the way it’s supposed to and kisses under the mistletoe rarely end romantic fantasy. Now Drew has a new problem entirely… for the first time in his life, he might be falling in love.

Taming My Christmas Rogue: Taming the Duke’s Heart is a historical holiday romance by Tammy Andresen. This is a very quick read, perfect for those with limited reading time. Ms. Andresen has provided readers with a well-written book. The characters in this story are a perfect fit. Drew never wants to marry and is more determined when he learns his parents are bringing a bride for him when they return from America. Danielle is the ward of Drew’s brother and he can’t seem to keep his mind off of her. Danielle and Drew’s story is loaded with drama, humor, sizzle, action and suspense. I enjoyed reading this book and look forward to my next book by Tammy Andresen. Taming My Christmas Rogue is book 2 of the Miracle Express Series but can be read as a standalone.
I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book that I received from BookFunnel. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
Lord Andrew Maddox is a rogue, he’s the last man Dani should want. Yet her eyes are drawn to Drew every time he enters the same room as her, which is often since she’s spending Christmastide with his family. Dani just has to avoid him for a week and then she can go back to her orderly life and her almost husband hunt. Miss Danielle Frazier is far too virtuous for his tastes… so why can’t Andrew stop thinking about her? So he decides to steal one kiss which should cure him of this growing obsession.
This is the final book in the series & it ends on a high. Once again strong characters who are very loveable, a well written well paced story that I read in a sitting. Dani is shy & prefers to be in the background, Andrew is a rogue but also a hardworking landowner, together their chemistry sizzles. I love it when a rogue falls hard & Andrew certainly did. I was drawn in from page one & engrossed until the end
My honest review is for a special copy I voluntarily read
Taming my Christmas Rogue by Tammy Andresen was a lovely Christmas story. It was a short story but didn’t feel like there were parts left out. I definitely recommend.
‘Tis the season to fall in love, for miracles, for change and for some wonderful, feel-good reading from Tammy Andresen! TAMING MY CHRISTMAS ROGUE is a quick escape from reality that will leave you with a smile.
Lord Andrew Maddox has made an art out of being a rogue, driving his family to distraction. Miss Danielle Frazier is beautiful, shy and nothing like the women he seems drawn to and yet, like a moth to a flame, Drew wants this woman like no other. He wants her in every way, including as his wife.
How easily the mighty fall, even if Dani shouldn’t want such rogue, she does and a kiss under the Mistletoe is never wrong. Talk about a holiday miracle! The beauty has tamed the beast!
As always, I have gotten exactly what I expected from Tammy Andresen, a quick read that left me smiling, wonderfully embellished scenes, delightful characters and a magical happily ever after!
I received a complimentary ARC edition from Tammy Andresen. This is my honest and voluntary review.
Taming My Christmas Rogue is the second book in the Miracle Express series. It is also the last book in the author’s Taming the Duke’s Heart series, but can be read as a standalone. The book was fast paced and short but the characters were well developed. Lord Andrew Maddox and Danielle Frazier had meet when Danielle’s cousin, Sophie, became Drew’s brother guardian. He had been captivated by her since then but was a rogue with no intentions of marriage. Danielle was shy, which made finding a husband hard. She was hoping to meet someone at the Christmas house party. Drew’s idea of them sharing a kiss to get rid of their attraction did not work and he didn’t like the idea of her marrying another man. Was Drew willing to face his feelings for Danielle and give up bachelorhood? This was a great book and short so it was easy to read in one sitting. The book also contained the prologue to the author’s new series, the Lords of Scandals, which sounds like another great series.
I received an ARC from the author and am voluntarily leaving a review.
A delightful Regency romance, when the roguish Lord Drew meets his match. Having gained a reputation through his wild behaviour, his first meeting with Danielle leaves him dissatisfied with his life and makes him wonder whether there is more to finding a love match than he thought. Spending Christmas with his family, and Danielle gives Drew the opportunity he needs to plan his strategy. Reserved, quiet Danielle is more than frustrated with herself. She has been presented with three possible suitors at the Maddox Christmas party and the only one that she feels anything for is the less than suitable Lord Andrew. This novella in lighthearted, witty and romantic, It is also well written and keeps the reader entertained throughout. I received a copy of this book as a gift and this is my honest and voluntary review.
What’s a man to do when he cannot get one woman out of his mind? No matter what he did, how much he drank, it always came back to her beautiful face. Plus he was going to have to spend Christmas with her at his brother’s estate!
But the attraction was getting harder and harder to deny as Drew thought, just one kiss and he would be over her! No such luck. If anything it made it worse.
Dani could not deny her attraction for the rake and he was fast becoming all she could think about. He actually seemed to effortlessly bring her out of her shyness!
A delightful story that made me smile and quickly turn the pages to see how this Christmas romance would turn out. Tammy Andresen always writes such wonderful stories that are exactly what I love!!
I absolutely loved the bemusement and confusion facing Andrew after he meets Dani. He cannot perform and cannot concentrate so he tries desperately to blot out this undesirable state with drink and loose ladies which does nothing to give him the relief he so desires.
The two meet again but this does nothing to relieve him of his unwanted feelings. Dani, too, finds that she needs to avoid him and this is only the beginning of this delightful story.
I love it when each, in their own time, decide to stop fighting their feelings for each other and eventually kiss under the mistletoe. Of course this doesn’t go unnoted.
Tammy Andresen has written a refreshingly amusing story about two characters who grabbed my attention and had me smiling and laughing at their antics. I couldn’t wait to find out what they (and in particular Andrew) would do next and yet this was a light and easy to read Chrismassy story which I am happy to recommend.
I read an Advance Reader Copy (ARC) of the ebook and this is my voluntary and unbiased review of it.
