As always, Ella Edon has written another great read. It is a beautifully written story of Lady Raymonde and Cutler that holds your interest. It is full of romanace as well as being full of drama and intrigue. I have to admit, I did not care for the name Lady Raymonde at first, but it grew on me. (Smiles) And everyone loves a book that is a page turner. If you have not read it, please do. You will love it!
Lovely historical story about a man cheated out of his inheritance a soldier who fought his way up the ranks to lieutenant and met a woman who had an equally troublesome past and found love and strength and happiness in each other loved it

It’s heart felt story filled with drama, mystery, uncertainties, secrets, trials and tribulations, turmoil and while the suspense builds and tensions escalate with the twist and turns abound that makes this one outstanding story! Ella Edon has outdone herself with this novel that is a must read!
The characters are fairly well defined. I think a little more research into PTSD would have helped as the Lieutenant’s symptoms seemed too contrived. Also the two of them taking the Earl on alone was illogical.
The story was enjoyable but it missed a few opportunities to be more intriguing. For instance the Lieutenant receives a letter early in the story but never reads it. Then the content of the letter is discussed much later. Had he read it when received it would have built suspense. Also, he is an intelligent man , but never suspected his title was stolen?
I had that figured out early on.
