****Can be read as a standalone****A girl with a dream who doesn’t need a distraction. And a guy who doesn’t give a damn.JudeThere’s something sexy about a girl who’s determined to chase her dreams, and Quincy Phillips is the poster child for determination. She’s also the woman who’s consumed my thoughts since I laid eyes on her months ago.And now I’ve been tasked with helping her achieve those … ago.
And now I’ve been tasked with helping her achieve those dreams.
Unfortunately for me, she’s also determined to push me away, convinced I’ll only be a distraction.
It’s a good thing she’s been ordered to complete my every request then, isn’t it?
Quincy
I’ve been working for this opportunity for years, and can almost taste the victory on my lips.
That is, until my sexy British mentor arrives.
His swoon-worthy accent makes me wonder if his kiss might be even sweeter than proving to the world that a girl can play with the big boys.
No. I refuse to get distracted.
My eyes are on the prize, but the longer I’m around him I can’t help but wonder… is my focus on the right one?

I really like this author’s stories! This was a really original love story between Quincy and Jude. It had SOME familiar aspects, like Quin caring for her ailing father, but I felt it was definitely refreshingly original. Its far more sweet than sexy, focusing more of the development of feelings part of their love than the physical. I feel like this is the type of story I can recommend to even older family members without blushing. This is a complete stand alone story, but you do meet Jude in Breezy’s story, (and he was super swoony there btw) and of course there is a little crossover with Bree in this book. Quincy is so charming and sweet! She is the epitome of ‘bless her heart’ as far as what she’s been through in her life. You’ll just absolutely wish she was real so you could give her a hug. They totally deserve their sweet HEA and it was so satisfying to see.
This was an awesome book! Kelsie Rae did a fantastic job with this book! The storyline was different and I LOVED that! The chemistry between all the characters was wonder. You could feel the excitement, the tension, and the love. The storyline flowed well. There weren’t too many chapters. The storyline leaves you satisfied.
The only hard part was the storyline between the heroine and her father. My family recently went through the same struggle. Thank you, Kelsie Rae, for showing the father the love and respect he deserved.
Non-bias review of an arc
This was a fantastic 3rd book in this series.
We met Jude in Breezy’s book and I am so glad that he got his own book.
It is a fun lighthearted book and a fun twist on people who play video games.
We follow Jude through managing a team of professional gamers who are going to the championships in the game they have mastered and love to play. On this team is Quincy, a gamer that Jude has followed for a while. She is beautiful and exactly what he is looking for and he is exactly what she wants but thinks she can’t have.
I really loved this book. I loved that some things were left to our imagination and I love that it was a very different storyline than ones I’m used to.
My very favorite part was when Quincy says “I need to know that I’m jumping toward something, not away from it.” That hit me with all the feels.
This is one to pick up and read and if you haven’t read Liv or Breezy do yourself a favor and read them. Kelsie Rae is a one click author for me, I will read anything she writes and I’ll tell anyone who listens to read her!
I love Jude and Quincy! I have to admit that I initially fell in love with Jude in Breezy‘s book, but now I absolutely adore him! He’s sweet, charming and adores Q. Quincy is young, shy and never had a boyfriend, so of course she falls head over heels for Jude.
Set in the competitive video game world, you don’t have to be familiar with gaming to follow the story. The story flows effortlessly, and was over way too soon.
Kelsie Rae has written another amazing book! It is hot and steamy with romance but it is a slow build just like her character, Quincy. The story is beautifully written and Jude really is the British knight in shining armor. You will not want to miss to see how Jude and Quincy fall for each other.
Sexy, nerdy gamer with an accent! Hot! Shy gamer girl in need of someone to help her actually live life. Two more awesome characters in this series who took over my world for a little bit. The banter keeps it fun, the flirting keeps it sexy and threw sow surprises to keep you guessing!! Total win!
This is book three in the Signature Sweethearts series but was definitely able to be read as a standalone. Another excellent read by this author. I am loving this series, again I was hooked from the start. Every time I read another book of her I fall more in love with these characters. I have to say Jude is one of my book boyfriends. I liked Jude in Breezy and I couldn’t wait to read his story. I loved everything about this story. I’m not a huge gamer but I love reading about nerdy things. Thank goodness for the glossary of the gaming terminolgy, or I may have been a little lost. I did know some of them but I guess thats cause I picked some up from my fiance who is a gamer and got me into a few games.
Jude is a former rock star of the gaming world, too in his field, and he is British.
Quincy is a 19-year-old gamer that has more than enough on her plate. With her father very sick and she just signed her very first gaming contract she does not need a man right now. So when Jude starts showing her interest she really doesn’t know what to do. I loved that Quin is a bada** gamer girl. She’s doing what she can and what she’s good at to survive.
Quincy is not a people person at all. And Jude is used to getting what he wants when he wants it. These two have to learn to deal with each other to get their happy ever after.
I loved this story and can’t wait to see what the author has in store for us next. I can’t wait for Marcus’ story.
Once again this author just bowls me over with these Sweetheart books. Jude is a gamer. One that has made a name for himself and moved on. Quincy is a quiet loner who is up and coming in the gamer world. We get a peek at Marcus in action as he leads their team and inserts his protective side over Quincy. A great read of patience and the development of a friendship that turns into more. Quincy has a few challenges to work thru and this author has figured out how to make it all happen, clarity, love, release of chains and a letting go of fear. It’s an emotional read as they break through it all and come out on top against all odds and nay sayers. Absolutely loved watching Quincy blossom and Jude develop the patience of he’s so used to not having.
Kelsie Rae has an engaging writing style that wraps the reader up in the story and brings the characters to life. We first meet Jude in a previous novel in this stand-alone series, and watching his own story unfold was truly gratifying, it felt like rooting for an old friend. Quincy is a force to be reckoned with, and the nerdy gaming chemistry between them is off the charts. Can’t wait to read more in the Signature Sweethearts series!
Sweet and sexy romance with two likeable and intelligent characters!
Jude was a legend in the gaming community when he decided to retire. Now, he’s returning as an assistant coach for the World Championship of Gateway Guardians. He is going to coach none other than the talented Quincy Philips.
I liked both Quincy and Jude. Quincy was a strong female lead. She had to deal with idiots who thought just because she was a woman she couldn’t be good at gaming. She proved them wrong pretty quickly. As good as she was, she was still a girl who had to listen to sexist comments. This girl never gave up! Thankfully, she had Jude in her corner to give his support.
Who wouldn’t love Jude? He was sexy, and his mind was as sexy as his body. The first time Quincy met him she was speechless. I probably would have been too when I heard his sexy British accent too. Little did she know, he had a crush on her too. Jude’s most attractive quality was his heart.
The two had a potential connection at their first meeting until Jude opened his mouth and somewhat ruined that. He isn’t used to being this way around women. However, it’s this banter between them that makes the book so good! He really respects her, and I could see that as the book is told in both of their POVs. Their relationship really was sweet and sexy.
The storyline was good as well. It is something a bit different in the romance genre, and I liked that. I have never really understood the gaming world, and Kelsie Rae gave me some insight into it. It isn’t all fun and games. It is a job to some, like Quincy.
I highly recommend if you are looking for a unique read in the romance genre!!!!
